I can't say enough about the excellent food and level of service Event Design Productions provided for our daughter's wedding. Our guests went out of their way to tell us how good the food was. Simply Amazing

I don't know where to start but WOW...! I hired Event Design Production for my wife’s birthday party, and it was a success! Amazing food, great quality, and the friendliest, nicest staff. The gentleman serving us was super nice and polite. The food was fresh and made to order. We were so happy with the service from beginning to the end that we will continue to use them. Matron of honor

My sister in law got married 2 weeks ago at the Curtiss Mansion and hired EDP to coordinate everything for her wedding. Let me just say that we were beyond pleased with every single little detail. Sindy and her staff were amazing. Sindy paid such close attention to detail and made sure that everything was organized and and perfectly executed on the day of her event. She was literally on top of everything and even made sure that at the end of the event she herself was picking up all of our decorations that were personally brought to the venue. I would highly Recommend EDP for all of your social events and rest assured that you will not regret your decision. I can't wait to host an event myself and hire sindy and EDP again myself.

My daughter's sweet 16 were amazing. I can not give this business ten stars so five will have to do. To begin with, the professionalism shown as well as the attention to detail surpasses any expectation I may have had of good service. The food was ten stars. The cakes was ten stars. The staff was ten stars. This service was exemplary and I will definitely be calling them again. It has been my honor to work with the entire team. From the beginning we worked with Cindy to craft our dream wedding. At every step, even through a complete rescheduling due to COVID, Cindy was professional, supportive, and extremely pleasant to work with. She found a solution for everything we needed and everything we wanted and was tremendous in making sure we had the kind of day we wanted within our budget. Absolutely AMAZING!!!!

EDP was nothing short of amazing! My main point of contact was Cindy and I cannot recommend them enough! She was so attentive to me and always answered my texts and emails as soon as possible. She was great in giving lots of advice and expertise. Cindy went above and beyond for us! She helped us plan since the beginning and made all my dreams come true. Everything turned out beautifully. Best Decision Ever

My wife and I used Event Design Productions for our wedding in August 2020. Cindy was an absolute dream to work with. From the moment we stepped foot in the door, we knew we would be in great hands! After deciding to move forward, Cindy set up a menu tasting for us. It was so hard to choose between certain dishes because they all were so delicious! Having a wedding in 2020 came with a set of challenges. However, Event Design Productions made sure that everyone’s safety was put first. Safety was a priority, and the extra precautions made our guests feel extremely comfortable. The food was mouthwatering, our guest definitely went back for seconds. Huge thank you to Cindy and Event Design Productions team, for being so professional and making our wedding day run to seamlessly. We are so grateful!!

Best day of my life.

Unbelievable! There are no words to explain how Event Design Productions made our wedding! The DJ played to the crowd and the mood of the room. All our guests commented how good he was! Even my great Aunt commented he played something for everyone and the best music she’s heard at a wedding! Alba and her staff was amazing. Sindy was awesome as well.. The food was amazing and service was excellent. Flowers were beautiful. I will never forget my awesome wedding. We would highly recommend Alba and her team.

Best Decision Made

My husband and I are so thrilled with Cindy and her whole team and are so happy we decided to go with EDP as our wedding vendors. EDP offered us an unbeatable deal that included pretty much anything you would need at the wedding (DJ, flowers, catering, rentals, cake and day of planning). I was hesitant at first, wanting originally to go with separate companies for each item but given the fact that I was not planning to have a wedding planner it made more since to have the services done by one company. We met with Cindy (who was my day of coordinator as well) and she was so sweet and to the point that we were immediately sold. It is a family business that they run and every member was a pleasure to work with, from the florist to the DJ, they are all very good at what they do. We had a lot of obstacles due to the COVID pandemic but as soon as the county gave the green light, Cindy and EDP were on board and ready to go despite the loss of time for planning we had due to quarantine. The day of the wedding the service was absolutely amazing especially by Cindy who was on top of everything throughout the night, my florals were breathtaking and everything I had asked for was done to perfection, the food was raved about by so many guests who eagerly went up for seconds, and the music was on point throughout our night. The bake shop they work with is equally amazing and it’s owner equally talented. Overall so happy with the outcome and with our unforgettable wedding!

We had such a tremendous experience with EDP! Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on service and what matters for a tremendous value. Everything from the food to the decorations to the florals to the music and bar were all EDP and were all everything my wife and I could have hoped for on our big day. We met with them several times to get things just right and despite so much being up in the air, they were tremendously professional and went above and beyond for us. They are a class operation that really knows how to make your wedding both special and fun. If you’re reading this and are unsure of whether you should book them, definitely do it! We hired Event Design Productions for our wedding flowers, tables, linens and DJ. BEST decision we made! They were so easy to work with, very flexible and professional and kind enough to work with our budget. We were so impressed with the results - everything came out absolutely beautiful! And the DJ was the absolute greatest DJ we could have ever imagined having! Christopher Cobas. He listened closely to our likes and dislikes, was extremely detailed with the planning of the music, and kept us dancing all night long. Amazing. We highly recommend Event Design Productions!

Dream wedding!

Our wedding in November 2019 went without a hitch all due to the incredibly hard work and vigilance of our coordinator Lily and the amazing staff. Son's Wedding

Alba and her staff did an absolutely fantastic job on my son’s wedding. As others have said, she is very kind and generous. There were details that slipped my mind, she picked it right up for me. As others have stated, she provided some items that she had for use at our wedding. I have attended other weddings since, and pinpoint exactly where Alba’s services were needed. She also added some fun twists to the day; for example, she encouraged my son to do a dance right on the spot. My family still watches video of that moment and laugh hysterically. I couldn't have been happier. It was beautiful. She went above and beyond our expectations and was a true professional. What a magical day. Thank you for everything Alba and staff.

Stunning Wedding!!

My husband and I are so very grateful for Alba and Lily. Words cannot express how blessed we are to have had them work with us for our wedding. I booked them before we were officially engaged and it was the best decision we made. I got married at the Fire Tower and let me tell you my wedding was absolutely stunning. At one point I was going crazy trying to figure out last minute things like the linen order and the seat arrangements and they told me to calm down because they've got it under control. That was exactly what I needed to hear because on the wedding day, they took the worry of my shoulders and my family and I are so grateful for all they did between monitoring the weather, dealing with a not so easy to work with venue and keeping everything on schedule. There is no way we could have pulled off our wedding without their help and knowledge; they are truly experts and gifted in their roles. My arrangements on the table and the setting was BEAUTIFUL. He food was delicious. The candy station was yummy. all we had to do was show up and get married! I will never forgot this day. It was beyond my expectations. We cannot thank the team at Event Design Productions. From day one, Lily, Alba, Andy, and Omar made us feel completely comfortable and that whatever it took to make us feel stress-free and at ease, The Venue went above and beyond to take care of all of our needs, wants, and dreams. Their level of professionalism is outstanding - from the early days of planning to the execution of the events, they never once failed to accommodate. I also felt like I became friends with the planners, as they were so welcoming and easy to talk to, and reassured me constantly that everything would be beautiful - and it was. The place was beautiful. The food was amazing. All of our guests commented about how delicious the food was, and couldn't get enough. I am so happy I chose EDP for our wedding this past weekend. Alba and Liliana brought to reality my dream wedding. The food was delicious, the flowers were exactly how i pictured them, the dj kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night. They made the planning process easy and enjoyable. Our church delayed everything because the priest was more than an hour late and Liliana from EDP helped me speed everything up with the reception so we could have time to do everything we planned. Liliana saved us food and was on top of everything the whole night. They really made our wedding night special.

Hello my name is Kelly Dinnte and without a doubt Event Design Productions served me well. Alba was such great help for me and my husband. We provided her with a couple ideas for our wedding and in return she showed us tons of choices to choose. From the decor on the table, to the design of the buffet stations. Her staff is outstanding and provided excellent service. The preparation for my wedding was tremendous. When it was time for reception everyone said they had an great time. A Good friend of mine’s suggest me to Event Design Production for my event and I couldn’t be more happier. Because of certain circumstances I was given the opportunity of directly working with Alba the owner of this amazing company. We got engaged two years before the wedding but it was not until March 2017 that we decided to leave our celebration in the hands of a professional.

Since we met our wedding planner Karina and Alba from Event Design Productions, we took away many concerns from the search for the details that were not yet defined (such as the ballroom, decoration, church, and even the food) Karina sent us ideas, recommendations, she toured us around the ballroom, and was always willing to meet our demands.

The day of the celebration she was responsible for taking care of every detail, and our wedding was simply perfect thanks to Event Design Productions.

The food was delicious and the attention of the staff was excellent, they were fast and very gentle.
The decoration, flowers, tablecloths and atmosphere were beautiful, just as we wanted it.
Something very important is the planning of the agenda. Karina gave us great recommendations and the best thing of all is that each of the activities we planned were strictly met and everything went out perfect.

Our wedding was a small but charming celebration, the budget was adjusted to our needs and unlike many other event companies, and their services are not in overpriced.

I definitely recommend them 1000%! Not only for weddings, for any type of event, I would not hesitate for a second to leave in their hands any special occasion.

Started working with Karina from Event Designs Productions in February of this year. Since the first appointment we had a very good feeling, as she was very accommodating to your wants vs need. We had a very clear vision of what we wanted our wedding to look like and she grasped the concept immediately. Throughout the year we met with her several times, as well as called/texted if we had concerns. We truly felt that everything was under control and being taken care of.
The day of the wedding she made sure everything was prepped, it looked like what we imagined, but somehow better. She decorated the venue flawlessly and the event went like clockwork, letting us enjoy our moment and not letting us worry about anything. The DJ got a feel of the crowd quickly and kept the party going. The Catering was on point, they were very attentive and even saved us a plate appetizers. The bartender perfect, we asked for the drinks to be on the heavy side and boy were they HEAVY!!!

Mi boda fue el pasado 06 de Octubre en Douglas Entrance. Contratamos a Event Design para que se encargara de la comida, bebida, flores, decoracion y la musica. Todo lo tuvimos que decirir en escasos 2 meses....!! La Sra Alba y Karina que son un amor de persona, nos ayudaron a elegir todooo con calma y a la medida de nuestro presupuesto y nuestro apretado horario de trabajo....Pasamos por varios procesos: Cambiamos la fecha de la boda 3 o 4 veces...no encontrabamos un venue con fecha disponible... La cantidad de invitados aumentó la ultima semana previa a la boda, llamabamos y escribiamos a Karina en la noche y la madrugada, hicimos hasta reuniones en mall o en pleno fin de semana... Y siempre EDP fue super amable con nosotros. El dia de la boda todo salio tal cual lo habiamos pedido. Incluso pudimos hacer la ceremonia en un area donde no permitian hacerla...todo gracias a la intervencion de EDP. If you are looking for a wedding and event planner for your special day, look no further! Alba and her team at Event Design Productions (EDP) catered to our every need on our special day! We were aware of all of our options but EDP was, hands down, the best option while still maintaining outstanding quality. Not only did they help personalize a package that was fit for our budget but also helped make our dream wedding come to life. On our wedding day, when we walked in to our reception, my husband and I were in awe of how beautiful everything looked! Honestly, it looked better than what we had imagined. They even went ahead and added little extra surprises that I hadn't planned for (i.e. extra decorative flowers on all my tables, extra cocktail hour tables for guests, calligraphy signs for decor, etc.). Oh! And I can't forget to mention... the food was DELICIOUS!

One of the most pleasant aspects of working with EDP was our amazing wedding coordinator, Karina Grooscors. She was phenomenal!!! She knew every detail about our wedding and executed our vision beautifully throughout the whole process. Not to mention she is a complete sweetheart that will win over everyones heart! <3

I could not be any happier with my experience with Event Design. Everyone we worked with were so professional and made wedding planning fun, rather than stressful. We had Karina as our wedding coordinator and she was absolutely AMAZING!!! She kept in constant contact with us and was on the ball at all times. Our wedding was so beautiful and was perfect. We had no issues come up at all and my husband and I were able to just sit back and enjoy our day. I'd recommend them for any event and will definitely be working with them in the future again.

.Our wedding was on 06/23/2017 at Douglas Entrance. Alba and her staff at Event Design Production did a beautiful job from start to finish. From day one Alba was always available via call, text or email. The whole staff was very attentive to our ideas for our dream wedding. Alba, & Amanda were very detailed in organizing our special night. The ceremony was amazing as they set up the floral arch by the fountain as the back drop. The happy hour during our photos session was a hit with our guests. The reception was AWESOME to say the least. Omar, the DJ, played all of our songs we wanted and got the crowd going throughout the night. And finally the food was delicious!! We had the baby Filet Mignon with roasted veggies that was to die for. They also prepared a special dish for our vegan guests, which i was told was amazing!! In closing, I highly recommend Alba's team at Event Design Productions for all your special events. Great job Alba and her AWESOME STAFF!!!

We used event design productions for our wedding and they did an amazing job. They were very attentive to our needs and requests for our wedding. The day before they started setting up the reception hall and paid attention to every small detail. For the day of the wedding they were on top of everything and made sure that everything was on time and went perfectly well. They also provided the DJ and lighting, in which he did an amazing job and played only the music we wanted. We highly recommend EDP for any events especially weddings and receptions. We are so happy that we picked Event Design Productions to decorate and cater our wedding. Alba and Maria are the sweetest.The team was fantastic to work with and the food was delicious. At our tasting, they suggested (and prepared for us to try) several specialty cocktails, which were the perfect welcome for our guests. They understood our vision for the night and put together a plan that was perfectly suited to us. Everyone has continued to rave about the food, from the passed hors d'oeuvres to the main courses to the miniature cupcakes and other sweets. The quality of the food for the price cannot be beat –DJ was awesome. The decorations were beautiful from the flowers to the tables, the favors, the napkins, etc.. My wedding was a fairy tale. I felt like a princess. Their makeup artist did an amazing job as well. Thank you Alba and your lovely staff for such an amazing job. This was the best day of my life. highly recommend!

Maria Belen is the sweetest and most helpful planner a bride could ask for, at my most overwhelming moments she always had an idea or solution (from canceled vendors, or when my identity was stolen, she and Alba helped me find affordable solutions to getting me back into a happy pre-wedding glow .) Alba the owner is great, she was very kind and also was super attentive when I felt overwhelmed.
I and my guest can't thank EDP enough for such a great evening! I honestly feel they gave me more then what I paid for! I will use and continue to recommend there company

Alba and her staff at Event Design Productions are simply the BEST there is in Catering, Event coordination and overall piece of mind for the Bride and Groom. Thanks to them we were able to enjoy our wedding completely stress free. They had it all under control!
Alba’s attitude and smile is infectious and leaves you with a sense of clam from the first appointment. All of her ideas are amazing and she goes out of her way to make you feel like YOU are her most important client She made sure that we were taken take off and that we enjoyed our night The entire staff is wonderful.
The food was INCREDIBLE! Our guests are still raving about it 2 weeks later. The main course looked and tasted out of a food magazine. The arepas during cocktail and our late night empanadas and finger foods were delicious.Many guests also commented on the wait staff and bartenders. They mentioned that they were polite , quick and went out of their way to be attentive. We had the inclusive package that included , cake, linens, flowers, makeup artist, limo, Dj, equipment rentals and the must of day of coordination services). There is no better deal than this! ( I priced it all individually and it does not come close to the high end services you are getting with this package). Event Design Productions aligns its self with the best vendors in the business and coordinates it all for you. Over all everything was Amazing. Special Thanks to Alba and her staff. I had the most amazing time and service provided by the Event Design Productions. Every girl dreams of what her wedding will be like and the stress that comes with it. Thanks to Alba I was able to cut the stress down by a lot! She always made me feel at ease and gave me amazing ideas that actually made my wedding so special and a night to remember. The day of the wedding I wasn't worried about the way things would turn on because I knew Alba and her staff would handle it. It was everything I could imagine. The catering was delicious.Their makeup staff was amazing too. They did my makeup and all my bridesmaid. Yani and Rina were the bomb. =) My friends and family are still talking about it to this day! I highly recommend Event Design Productions, Alba and her staff did an amazing job at my Wedding event. Everything was beautiful, the decorations, the food, the cake ( delicious!), and the DJ did an amazing job in providing the right music to bring everyone out of their chairs to the dancing floor. Our wedding planner was awesome in every sense.Alba and her staff were excellent and always there to answer all my questions on my big day. She was thoughtful, creative and very helpful throughout the process. Honestly, we started the process off kind of lost and not knowing what we would be doing with all of the little specifics that go into planning a wedding, I cannot thank her and her staff enough for going through everything with me and being able to calm me down. My wedding was during the week Hurricane Matthew was going to stop and pay Florida a visit. Due to the warnings four days before the actual wedding day I had to decide if to keep my original wedding day or switch. Alba and Mari were so sweet and did everything in their power to keep me calm. At the end, to be on the safe side I switched my date from a Friday to a Sunday... they did not miss a beat! When I was getting ready to walk down the aisle and saw how everything came together I was speechless. Alba and Mari were able to come together with the other vendors in such short notice and pulled off an amazing wedding. The staff is so attentive, they make you feel like family. I got many compliments on the food and the sweets table which Alba her self made, 5 stars across the board!!!!! THANK YOU EDP FOR MAKING MY DREAM WEDDING COME TRUE!

If you want a stress-free wedding where every detail is taken care of, select them as a vendor. Raphaella was an angel and she helped make our experience a magical one. The decor was stunning, the floral was just like we discussed, the food was delicious, the staff are so attentive and even went out of their way to make sure I had a snack before the ceremony started and during our photo session, the DJ was great. I do not have one negative thing to say about this company or my experience!

I would like to thank alba and raphaela along with her staff for making my wedding a dream come true.alba was beyond helpful since day one she made my wedding a reality at an affordable price! Raphaela was my to go to girl she always answered all my text promptly,she made sure everything went smooth on my wedding they arrive super early to set up everything!everything look exactly as i envision. All my guest were giving compliments from the decor to the flowers to the coktail il hour to the food. They were some inconvenience the day off but that didn't ruin my day ! The event design productions team was incredible. They made my day unforgettable, everything that we had planned was well executed. We found out about them thru the Douglas entrance list of preferred vendors, since the moment we contacted Alba, she was very attentive. During our preparation meetings their team was very accommodating to our requests, such as replicating center pieces and bouquet. The appetizers were delicious, and according to all our guests the food was very good (since we didn't get to eat lol). The DJ kept the guests very entertained and everyone had an amazing time including us.

Nuestra boda fue un momento unico y muy especial. Event Design se encargo de las decoracion de las mesas, centro de mesas, comidas, bevidas, hora loca y photobooth, Sentimos que en realidad son unos artistas. La pasamos maravilloso. La comida era deliciousa, y todo se veia hermoso. Si estas en busca de alguien con precios razonables que pueda hacer maravillas busca Event Design Productions.

We hired Event Design Productions for catering, photobooth, hora loca, and floral design for both ceremony and reception. All of the services were excellent. She is very flexible and is willing to work with couples on a budget. If we had to go through the process again we would hire her again. Alba and her staff receive our highest recommendation.

We hired Alba and her team at Event Design Productions for a corporate event. Everything was perfection. All our expectations were exceeded and everyone was blown away with the atmosphere and look that her team created for the event. The food/menu was executed just as requested and everyone loved the food. Especially the dessert station!

Alba and Cindy did an amazing job of making my dream wedding come true. I had a vision in my head of exactly what I wanted and they made it come to life. It was so surreal to look around at the beautiful job they did. I could not believe it was my wedding... it felt like a dream! Their attention to detail and eagerness to please went above and beyond. They are friendly, down to earth and extremely reasonable. They responded to my numerous emails and questions promptly and truth be told, you will not find a better value for your money. As far as the food, I received compliments from numerous guests about how delicious everything was and their team made sure that the bridal party got to munch on plenty of hors d'oeuvres before being announced. Event Design Productions fully delivered on everything they promised within our budget. Everything was very professional, we got exactly what we wanted. The decorations were beautiful, they made great use of the space, incorporated all of our wishes, and the staff was very nice, friendly and attentive. We were able to relax and enjoy our special day without any worries. We were happy, the guests were happy and everyone is still talking about "the most beautiful wedding they have been too".

Event Design Productions fully delivered on everything they promised within our budget. Everything was very professional, we got exactly what we wanted. The decorations were beautiful, they made great use of the space, incorporated all of our wishes, and the staff was very nice, friendly and attentive. We were able to relax and enjoy our special day without any worries. We were happy, the guests were happy and everyone is still talking about "the most beautiful wedding they have been too".
We recommended them to our family and they had and equally great experience.

Our wedding was everything we wanted and more thanks to Alba and her great team at Event Design Productions. Our guests loved the food, music (thank you Omar) and great service given by the staff. Alba, thank you for your patience with me, lol. A+++ Super happy with the results. :)))

Very diligent and honest , works whiting your budget and tries to accommodate things so you can get as close as you wanted to your dream celebration . Great food, and design taste. They exceeded my expectations.

I would recommend anyone to book with Event Design Productions. They did an amazing job with everything, taking care of each detail, and making sure that everyone enjoyed the event. Planning my daughter wedding was very easy because Alba was able to accommodate me and take me thru each step to assure that everything went without any problems. My daughter and her husband were so happy.

Event Design Production are absolutely amazing. Not only did they help make sure everything was perfect - the food was amazing. The presentation was gorgeous, and the servers were very professional making sure not to let drinks or food pile up on the tables. We've gotten multiple compliments from guests on how great the food was and the dessert pastry table was exactly what I wanted. I would recommend Event Design to anyone that asks and I will probably use them again the future. I posted this review on Yelp and The Knot.

The wedding DJ was one of the last vendors we booked, because we weren’t really sure how rate a DJ based on a website. We were lucky enough to have one of our best friends get married 4 months before our wedding, which is where we had the good fortune to experience DJ Omar. Omar was awesome! He knew how to read the crowd, everyone had a great time and we danced all night. After my friend came back from her honeymoon, we requested the name/contact for the DJ. We were so happy with the DJ & lighting services from Event Design Productions, they kept our guests on their feet all night.
We strongly recommend the entertainment services that they have to offer.

There were aspects of the service we were very satisfied with and aspects that we were not. The decoration of the wedding ended up gorgeous! Beautiful, everyone complemented us on it. The staff was flexible in working with our requests. Staff the day of were professional and helpful. However, until a few weeks before the wedding (maybe two or three), the responsiveness to calls and inquiries was very poor. There were missed appointments and lateness for appointments. It made us very nervous about our wedding going right. The change in staff without notification did not help. We started working with Jackie and Raphaella and when we tried to reach them couple months before wedding, we couldn't reach anyone. Once Raphaella was back in charge a few weeks before our wedding, we had to go over everything once again as it wasn't properly documented. Very stressful. But ?Raphaella was great- very detail oriented, organized and responsive. The day of, most everything was great. One major complaint was the runner was made of paper and it looked very cheap and did not help with walking down the aisle with heels in mulch, it made it more likely for us to trip. Also, interior decoration was not as discussed.

Overall, the value was great but the service leading up to the wedding needed improvement in organization and responsiveness. The team did a great job decorating the exterior of wedding. Food was good. We would recommend to friends based on our experience the two/three weeks before wedding and day of. But before that, we would not.

I'm torn since I had a good experience working with the vendor leading up to the wedding but was disappointed with the actual results. I wanted a caterer that provided a variety of food stations for my wedding and EDP was the only vendor I found that allowed me that variety - I had 8 different stations and the food was very good at the tasting. Barbie and Daniella were both responsive in answering my emails/calls and were flexible when I requested changes to the menu. However, my biggest complaint was in the amount of food at the reception.

I had expressed concern about the amount of food being adequate for 200 guests, which is what I signed the contract for but they re-assured us it would be fine. I understood that small tasting portions would be handed out to guests at each station and that the stations would be re-filled for up to an hour. We ended up having 175 guests RSVP for the wedding so we assumed we'd actually have a little extra. Unfortunately, guests we spoke to after the wedding mentioned they either weren't full or that by the time they went to a station, the food was already gone - and this was before 30 minutes had elapsed in the food service. The Pasta Station, in particular, had a long line throughout the food service since only 2 chefs manned the station and one chef was significantly slower than the other. It seems EDP severely underestimated the amount of food to bring, which upsets me since I would have been willing to pay more to ensure people didn't go hungry.

Also, there was no cake cutter present next to the cake. I had to ask my event planner for one and the best she could get me was a regular kitchen knife that I used to awkwardly cut and serve the cake. A proper cake cutter should have already been there, which was part of the contract and what I see at every other wedding I've attended.

Overall, I would not recommend EDP but if you work with them, make sure you ask about the food portions.

The wedding planner never coordinated the floral arrangement walkthrough and we had to do a second food tasting as in the first one they served us canned fruits in our “upgraded salad”. The day before the wedding, we received pictures of the floral arrangements, and there were nothing like the ones that we had envisioned and provided pictures for in our many sit-downs with Barbie and the owner Alba. The day before our wedding, when we were supposed to be introducing our families and enjoying time together, we rushed to their “showroom” and sat there for more than 4 hours, until they brought in the flowers that—from the beginning of the process we had agreed on. This situation got so frustrated that my wife started to cry as they keep telling us that they needed to review their budget, instead of admitting to their mistake and trying to fix it.

The day of the wedding, the wedding planner was working instead of planning/directing, as they were under staffed, my guests started to arrive and there were still a lot of items missing and people in shorts and sneakers going around. For our ceremony, they completely forgot the detailed diagram that we provided and therefore myself and my groomsmen had to change the layout. This company lacks attention to detail, professionalism, and fulfilling the simple promises that an event company should provide. Another ask we had was for the wedding “planner” to help us coordinate the photos after the ceremony, but she was nowhere to be found. After all these mistakes, we asked her to leave the property. Once the reception started, Omar, the DJ (who is the owner, Alba’s son) messed up our entrance song by playing an entirely different song; as we walked down we looked and each other smiling with disappointment (certainly not what we had envisioned). Please DO NOT contract this company. Not only will you end up having to deal with many unwanted and unnecessary issues on your wedding day, but they do not even abide by a legally binding contract. When you first contract them everything appears to wonderful; Alba even makes it seems as if she's giving you such a great deal on the price (shop around, you will see that you can get better quality services for less). As your wedding date gets closer, red flags start popping up everywhere. Alba constantly cancels appointments and comes up with ridiculous excuses as to why, just so she doesn't have to deal with the client and passes you on to an employee who is ill-equipped to assist you. They are extremely disorganized; Alba lost my entire file at one point and then after everything was selected for my wedding such as tablecloths, flowers, etc., that ended up missing as well. The food at the wedding was nothing like what we sampled at the tasting and they day of wedding the chicken was under-cooked. Come to find out it was not a chef (like the contract states) that prepared the food, but rather the accountant of the company who prepared it. In addition, I paid three times as much for several children to have adult meals instead of children's meals and they ended up receiving children's meals, after I specifically paid for and stated which children were to receive adult meals and which children were to receive children's meals. One child did not even receive a meal at all and his mother was told "let's see if there are any leftovers." They ask you to turn in a DJ questionnaire as to what music you want played at your wedding, but they do not even bother to prepare for your wedding. As I was on my way to my wedding reception, I receive a text message from one of their incompetent employees Barbie, stating that she is unable to find the song that I was supposed to dance to with my husband as out first dance.
