So glad Eva did our vow renewal.
We actually did a double vow renewal. My in laws 20th and mine and my husband 10th. Eva did so great in the transition between one and the other. The best part is how Eva incorporates our children in the ceremony. I would recommend her to anyone.

Wonderful Ceremony
My husband and I feel so thankful to Eva for rendering all the services the Justice of the Peace provides. Eva was able to elegantly summarize our love story and gave a great service for all to hear. A main concern of ours was the ability to have the service in both English and Spanish, and Eva managed it well by providing the service and story in both languages, allowing all to hear. Loved my wedding day
I found Eva on a website called findajp.com and when I came across her profile I knew I wanted her to celebrate my wedding ceremony. My husband and I wanted our wedding to be something small but special especially in Spanish. More than just special she made it romantic for us and we are very lucky to have met her. Dream wedding
Prior to our wedding, we reached out to Eva to potentially perform our marriage. We quickly received a response back and had a call to discuss our "vision of the wedding". We love eva!
Eva was the perfect officiant for my husband and I! We are an interracial couple and were seeking an officiant who would foster a lighthearted, engaging, romantic, and fun environment as our families joined together to celebrate our marriage. Amazing Ceremony!
We recently had our wedding and chose Eva as our officiant. She was absolutely amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better person to officiate our marriage. From the moment we had our first call with her, we knew she had just the right personality for us as a couple and for our guests.
Eva took her time to get to know us and the story of our relationship. And this was so critical because we weren't too keen on writing our own personalized vows for the ceremony so having Eva incorporate aspects of our history, values, and what we love about each other into the general ceremony script was just what we were hoping for. Also, she was very flexible in terms of any edits we suggested on script drafts and perfectly accommodated our requests related to adding humor, keeping things non-religious, and using a mix of both unique and traditional vows.
On the day of our wedding, she really helped make our ceremony so energetic, heartfelt, genuine, and personalized. We keep getting compliments about it from friends and family who say the ceremony was one of the most touching and unique they've seen! There was not a dry-eye in the room that day haha
Overall, I would absolutely recommend Eva to anyone since she really cares about making sure the ceremony reflects what you want as a couple and that you get a genuine, beautiful experience.

Eva was amazing. She was one of my top vendors. She went the extra mile to have private lessons with us, which helped everyone in the wedding party so much, including us. She made my ceremony unique. We found Eva through a local bride to be Facebook group. She was highly recommended by several people. When searching for an officiant we wanted it to be a bilingual person who would capture our love story and our personalities. Eva took the time to review all of our answers to her questionnaire and invited us over to talk more in depth about us and what our vision for our ceremony would be. We were also able to do a couple practice runs so we both could feel comfortable the day of. This was greatly appreciated since with the nerves and excitement it is easy to mix up what we are supposed to do in the moment. She is charismatic and through her personalized ceremony for us brought everyone to tears but also made us laugh which is what we wanted. Can’t say enough good things about her and her attention to details. From the first phone call with Eva, she was so energetic, funny, and relatable, we knew right there she had to be the one to officiate our wedding. She then invited us into her home about 3 weeks before the wedding to rehearse, she made us feel like family! She asked us about how we met, what we love about each other, and what made us fall in love etc. We told her specific things we wanted done and said and she made some suggestions as well. It was important to us for the ceremony to be bilingual but we didn’t want it to be too long either, and Eva knew just what parts to translate. Our Wedding
Eva made our ceremony absolutely perfect! We were nervous when picking a Justice of the Peace, but knew we made the right decision after speaking to Eva once! Being together 11 years, we share such a deep love and wanted to find the right person to portray it. We were also hoping to find someone bilingual. Eva was recommended to us by several other couples. Eva truly spends time getting to know her couples, and treats them as her own family. She set aside plenty of one-on-one time, via phone call, email, Zoom, & in-person. She even invited us, along with members of our party to do a rehearsal at her home. Eva performed my wedding in the most amazing way. She took her time to get to know us and know our story. We met in person once and once over the phone. At the ceremony, she first greeted our guests, thanked them for coming and then asked our mothers to stand and gave them a message on our behalf. She quickly summarized how we met and even added some humor (per our request) . We did a lasso ceremony and it was just beautiful. Everyone complimented our ceremony it was beautiful and unforgettable. Once you’re up there she takes her time to make sure you’re feeling comfortable and not nervous.

Perfect from start to finish
I feel like we got lucky when we picked Eva. She was not only a fun person to talk to, but she also was very good at alleviating our nerves as we planned the ceremony. She wrote a great script that fit perfectly with our personalities and mood we wanted for our ceremony. She gave us tips and advice along the way and also invited us into her home to practice. Every step of the way I felt Eva was there and once the ceremony started I knew we were in good hands.

It was an awesome experience working with Eva, because of Covid we decided to do 2 separate ceremonies which Eva performed both with professionalism, humor and class. Doctor's Orders: Book Eva and have an amazing ceremony!
We were married just over a month ago, and from our very first conversation, I knew Eva had to be the one to conduct our ceremony. We hit it off from the very first phone call! Down-to-earth yet worldly, great ceremony script but awesome at ad-libbing, she's just wonderful at her job and wonderful all around. If you are considering booking her, look no further and do it!
Thematically, our ceremony needed to cover a lot of bases. We are an interracial couple (Latino and Black) and we're both dudes. We really wanted our ceremony to merge our cultures, and Eva was up to the task. While we had the music cues covered for our big multicultural wedding day, Eva took care of the rest. The ceremony began in both Spanish and English (with a few Spanish jokes tossed in for fun), and ended with a traditional jumping-of-the-broom. And let me tell you about the ceremony script, my goodness! When we received the first draft, it was so good that there was no way we would be able to get through it without crying our eyes out! Is it possible to be too good? Our final draft really brought together the laughter, the love, and just enough emotion for light tears while still being able to speak. Exactly what we wanted.
Long story short: Eva is amazing. Book her right away. You will not regret it. Trust me, I'm a doctor.

Eva was everything I hoped for and more. She is bilingual and translated a portion of the ceremony which was a very personal touch/tribute to my mother who’s primary language is Spanish. We also met her prior to the event and was welcomed to her home with wine for the adults and treats for my kids who had to tag along. She is sweet funny and makes you feel like you are a part of her family. While we were at the alter she called up our parents and then our children which were real tear jerking moments. She practiced the hand fasting ceremony till we were comfortable doing it, she even added a Celtic prayer to compliment the handfasting portion. I can’t thank her enough for making our vows special for our family and friends. I highly recommend Eva.

Omg I feel so excited about my Ceremony. My fiancée and I was so nervous until we meet with Eva and let me tell you Eva made us feel so welcome at her home so comfortable and relaxed meeting with her. I didn’t know how to start with all our questions. She right away help us and really answered our questions got to know a lots of us of our love stories and personalities. She also showed us what to do. I am so happy we hired her to Marry us. I truthfully will recommend her to my family and friends. Eva was amazing, we originally were suppose to celebrate our 10 year anniversary in April and due to Covid we had to postpone twice. Eva never cancelled, she told us that she would wait patiently for the state to re open so we could celebrate our Day. Aug 22. was Our New Date and Eva was there! Beautiful bilingual ceremony and great price
Eva did a great job for our ceremony. She puts a lot of thought and time into it to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. My husbands family doesn't speak english so it was great to have her do part of the ceremony in spanish for them but also in english for everyone else. We had people compliment the ceremony afterwards as well.
Eva from the beginning is very welcoming- she conducts the meetings in her home and makes sure she gets to know you. I also found Eva to be very reasonably priced compared to others. Lastly, she spent a lot of time with us just giving us advice and recommending songs for the ceremony. We even went with one of the songs she showed us for the ceremony.

My husband and I were looking for a bilingual officiant to tailor to the needs of both our families and we were fortunate to have found Eva! Since day one, she treated us like family, ensuring us that she will guide us through the ceremony and tailor it especially to our needs and personalities. One thing that we really enjoyed in working with Eva was that she makes each couple fill out a questionnaire to help her get to know each of us as well as to learn more about our relationship, which she then utilize to tailor her ceremony script for the wedding. Eva will then meet with you to review the forms and talk through the thoughts and ideas she as well as the couple have for the ceremony outline. Eva really made us feel at ease through the whole process and treated us like family which made the working relationship that much better. Eva is very understanding and knowledgeable about the entire process. She can make the ceremony funny, serious, emotional or romantic, no matter the couple. We are just getting back from our honeymoon and we still have guests talking about our beautifully done ceremony. Where do I even begin? From the very beginning Eva was kind, funny and extremely professional. Her questionnaire she gives in the beginning had my husband and I reminiscing about our whole relationship and how we got to marriage. That helped Eva come up with the most beautiful bilingual ceremony I have ever heard. There were laughs, tears and everyone still talks about how beautiful the ceremony was weeks later. Family is very important to us and she was able to capture that wonderfully. Eva truly made our day so perfect and special. She put together the most beautiful ceremony with only 2 days notice. We received some bad knews about my mother in laws cancer and wanted to be sure she could see us get married. Eva was so gracious to help us on such short notice. She incorporated a beautiful reading and a unity candle ceremony we did with our Mothers. She made the ceremony so personal and we felt like we had known Eva for a long time. Eva and Bianca were simply astounding; extremely warm and welcoming and their level of professionalism was just exceptional. We had an emergency for our initial date and had to reschedule and Eva was so accommodating. We felt comfortable and at ease and most of all nonjudgmental. We are happy we chose Eva and we will definitely recommend her to our friends. Although, Eva didn’t officiate our ceremony but her daughter Bianca did, it was perfect and more than we could’ve asked for. Bianca was prepared, organized, and spoke with such enthusiasm and zest. Eva was wonderful to work with. She was super flexible with us being in Texas in the lead up to the ceremony. She welcomed us into her home for a rehearsal, the day we arrived in CT for the festivities. She wrote a beautiful and personal ceremony for us and was super open to feedback when we discovered some overlap in JT's vows!! She also sent us about 15 Spanish language readings to find the perfect one for one of our readings. My husband and I started planning our wedding ceremony about a year ago. It was really important to us that whoever was performing our ceremony was bilingual and open to merging our 2 cultures as they are a big part of who we are. From the start Eva was amazing. She translated portions of our script into Spanish for our guests who were Spanish-speaking only, and they were delighted at that surprise. Since the day we met, Eva was just so lovely. We vibed so well and I instantly knew she had to officiate my wedding. She walked me through all types of ceremonies and was so helpful and also open to any ideas. She went above and beyond for our ceremony and it was everything I hoped for and MORE ! Eva was a warm and welcoming addition to our small elopement ceremony. She responded to my messages in a good timeframe, and was reassuring and helpful the whole time. We met with her and spoke for about an hour or so a week before the ceremony and she used that time to get to know us a little and personalized the service to our personalities.

From the beginning to the end Eva was great! She really got to know us and was able to personalize our wedding. We were able to look at her draft and completely work with her to edit and change things around what we wanted. Our ceremony was beautiful many guests said it was actually their favorite part of the evening. We will remember her and our ceremony forever.

Eva officiated our wedding on 5/26/18, we couldn’t have asked for more. She made our ceremony special, not just with words but also with her demeanor and genuine happiness for us. Prior to the ceremony, we met with her at her lovely home, where she made us feel extremely welcome. She listened to everything we had to say, and took it all into consideration when working on our personalized ceremony. Even though there were some bridezilla moments, Eva was patient and gracious. I couldn’t ask for someone better, to guide our wedding ceremony, my husband and I got married on 08.18.17, we organized with her how we wanted our ceremony. She came up with a storm of ideas, and even music for each section, she made it so easy for us, everything was personalized, and she made it completely bilingual, so all our family members and friends could understand and cherish with us our special day understanding what was being said. We met with her at her house and practiced once, she definitely made us feel at ease. The day of the wedding she was there on time, looked very profesional, was very organized, and directed every step of the ceremony, making us feel super comfortable and less nervous. It was such a perfect day, and I’m grateful that we had a very special ceremony to remember.

We had Eva officiate our September 9th wedding on Walnut Beach in Milford. From the very begining she brought us into her home to go over our vision for our wedding and going over the basics. By the second meeting we were able to finalize some of the details with her. We had her do a custom ceremony and she wrote us a beautiful ceremony that was loved by us and our guests. We both chose to write our own vows to eachother and she was able to incorporate them into our ceremony. We chose to do a sand ceremony and since we were getting married on the beach my fiance and I spent most of our time, Eva gave us the great idea to put sand directly from the beach as the base for our colored sand and then as a seal on top. It was such a great idea and my favorite part of our wedding ceremony.
In a whim she was able to accomodate my sister and her marriage to her long time boyfriend/fiance when they were looking to get married in just a few weeks and had not thought much about a JOP. Since we were already working with Eva, I knew she would give my sister a beautiful and memorable ceremony.
Other than being our officiant, she has become a friend who has gone above and beyond her title.

We were soo happy and pleased to have found Eva for our special day. It was very important to us to have someone bilingual for our ceremony, and Eva provided that service and much more. Our ceremony was a small and intimate rustic garden wedding, which Eva personalized by including many special moments that will forever be in our hearts. Eva knew it was important to us to pay respect to our loved ones that were no longer with us, she did so by sharing a beautiful poem. Eva also knew our mothers meant the world to both my husband and I, and we did a special rose exchange expressing our gratitude to them. My husband and I were fortunate to have our best-man and maid of honor blessing our rings before our vows. My husband and I decided to write our own vows and also do a sand ceremony representing our unity all while Eva was playing music in the background. The music definitely added an extra personal touch to our ceremony. Eva even open her home to my husband and I to throughly go over the program and to rehearse our ceremony. Eva's beautiful choice of words for our ceremony symbolized not only the love my husband and I share but the importance of family and unity. We were beyond pleased with Eva and as every married couple, we all wish to go back to our special day to relive each and every moment all over again.

So many people commented on how different it was and how personalized it was to me and my husband.
