A tale as old as time

Most beautiful group ever ever. Sons wedding was themed beauty and beast. The music European Strings played was simply angelic and so perfect for this theme. Everyone said it was breathtaking ❤️

Gorgeous Music!

We hired Edina and her string quartet for our March 2024 wedding and are so glad we did! Her group played such gorgeous music - both songs we chose for the ceremony and songs they chose for the prelude.

They even wrote and played a Taylor Swift song from scratch per my request for my entrance song. They sent me a recording of it ahead of time to make sure I liked it and worked with me to find the perfect moment to enter the ceremony room.

We got so many compliments from our guests and I'm happy to recommend them to future brides!!!!

A Magical String Quartet Experience

European Ensemble Strings was absolutely amazing and exceeded all expectations. They truly captured the essence of our wedding and created a magical atmosphere.

During the cocktail hour, the quartet played lively and upbeat music that got everyone in the mood to celebrate. It was the perfect way to kick off the reception and set the tone for the rest of the evening.

The quartet was incredibly professional and looked stunning. They were also very responsive to our requests and made sure that everything went smoothly. They had a wide repertoire of music and played each piece with precision and passion. It was clear that they were all highly skilled musicians who had a deep love for their craft.

We received a ton of compliments from our guests about the quartet. They truly made our wedding unforgettable and we are so grateful for their amazing performance.

There are not enough words to describe the professionalism and response time of this vendor. Being in the event industry not all musicians are as genuine like Edina and her crew. Hired for proposal

I hired a string duet to play the music for my proposal and I could not be happier! Every note of every song was wonderfully crisp and made an extraordinary moment a dream come true. I had Olso and Zoltan as my violinist and cellist. Both arrived early, setup quickly, and communicated so well that I never had to worry about a single thing. I cannot recommend this group enough!

European Strings Ensemble

The music was beautiful. They let us pick (ahead of time) the pieces for every part of the wedding: seating of the family, processional, recessional, reception. They were accomplished musicians and took very few breaks. They certainly added a lovely part to the whole event!

The absolute BEST!

The ensemble made the wedding perfect! They were timely, kind, professional, and knew exactly what to do. We had discussed the expectation prior to the day and they delivered beyond anything we could have imagine. So many of the guests kept asking questions about the music. If you want the most beautiful music and experience, choose this company!

Magical and Memorable

The European Ensemble Strings performance was one of the highlights of our wedding!

We were first drawn to this group because of their diverse musical selections, high quality audio clips, relaxed professional tone, and stellar online ratings. We could not have made a better choice!

They were really flexible when it came to letting us hand pick each specific piece we wanted to hear played during the different portions of our event (prelude, ceremony, and concert music). We thoroughly enjoyed listening to them play a range of pieces—from classical to contemporary. They were very skilled technically, but also dynamic in their ability to bring out the emotions of each piece. Their arrangements of the music really captured the beauty and interplay of the instruments.

Our guests were also very impressed by the caliber of these musicians—some even comparing them to the Lincoln Center musicians they had recently heard perform.

European Ensemble Strings surprised us with a wonderful rendition of “L-O-V-E” to end the concert on a fun, upbeat note. We highly recommend inviting European Ensemble Strings to perform at your event to make it extra special!

Great attention to planning; flawless performance

We booked the European Ensemble Strings for our recent wedding and asked them to perform during the ceremony and the cocktail hour. Music selections can be a very personal matter, and we had a fairly definite list of songs that we wanted to be played. Edina sat down with us for a very efficient planning meeting to discuss those preferences, plan our day-of logistics, and resolve any questions we had. On the day of the wedding, the musicians coordinated flawlessly with our planner and delivered a fantastic performance (as multiple guests emphasized to us). They are all professional concert musicians who truly know their craft! We would absolutely choose them again and highly recommend them to others.

I hired the trio to play at my wedding, and the music was absolutely perfect! There’s just something so romantic and classy about string music, it really brought my wedding up to the next level. They played “Tale as Old as Time” from Beauty and the Beast for the song I walked down the aisle, and it was so magical and perfect! They were super easy to book and so professional. We hired a string duo and they were awesome! They were there on time, played the selected music from the list we gave them while including our entire wish list. Tempo and dynamics of the songs they played were awesome and the acoustics of the Bella Donna Chapel they played in made them an amazing part of our wedding ceremony. There was a wonderful moment before I walked down the aisle while I was sitting in the bridal suite where I was able to close my eyes and simply enjoy the music they were creating. They are wonderful and I would definitely recommend them!

Just PERFECT! The music was beautiful!! I had the trio playing and received so many compliments from my guests - some saying it was the best they ever heard. This quartet was recommended to me and boy am I glad I took the recommendation!! They were amazing! I didn't have them come to my ceremony rehearsal and that didn't matter one bit! They were so on point the day of, I couldn't have asked for anything more. They also learned my song I wanted to walk down the aisle to and the version was so perfect, hearing them practice it made me cry. This better be the only wedding I have, but I hope I have another event in my life that I can hire European Ensemble Strings again!

I've always daydreamed about having a string trio/quartet at my wedding and this talented group exceeded my expectations! Hands down, my favorite part of the wedding. We had them play contemporary music for the ceremony and it was just amazing!! They are professional and don't even need to come to your rehearsal, they are so well synched to everything from the entrance to the exit etc. its like they've practiced with you there the whole time.

The European Ensemble String Quartet was amazing. Edina was so easy to work with and the music selection was great! We chose fun pop songs for our pre-wedding music and then classic Jewish music for our procession and recession. Edina worked with our Cantor to create a beautiful music selection. The duet, a violinist and cellist, were so talented. We couldn't be happier!

I sent a quote for a private birthday event. Edina responded promptly, in depth, and in a way that immediately made me feel she understood exactly what I was looking for- she even recommended adjusting in a way that both made more sense for me and saved me money! Even when I had a date change, she did everything she could to accommodate me. On the day of the event, she and the other players were prompt, professional, and played absolutely beautifully- her genuine passion for music is apparent. I could not have asked for more. This ensemble was the perfect touch for my company holiday party. They would blend into the background when necessary, or standout when appropriate. We enjoyed the ambiance they provided to all for a very smooth and even mixture of holiday music to classic string music, we will definitely be using them again! We booked through Gigmaster, and haven't been disappointed yet with our options and selections of musical groups!

THEY WERE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had the string trio play - and it was incredible - couldn't tell there were only three of them!

I cannot find the right words to thank the European String Ensemble for such a wonderful performance at our wedding Saturday. We received so many compliments on having them play for our ceremony - the musicians are unbelievably gifted. Our ceremony was classier and even more beautiful with their amazing talents.

I was also beyond pleased with their arrangement of On the Other Side by Augustana. It was beautiful, and well worth standing to just listen to a bit of the song before beginning the ceremony - I LOVED IT. It was perfect. It's "our song" and it was amazing to hear it done so beautifully. It was indeed 1000 times better than the original!!!!! Hearing the song as I walked down the aisle was so special, and I really truly appreciate the time and effort that Edina, their leader, put into arranging that song specially for us. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

They were wonderful, one of the best parts of our wedding day. They truly added such class and beauty to the ceremony. I would absolutely suggest hiring them for any occasion if you want the BEST string trio or quartet in DFW.

I arranged for a surprise 50th Birthday Party for my wife. I wanted something memorable, unique and fun. Edina and the ensemble blew away my expectations and most if not all of the 70 guests pointedly commented on how great they were. I couldn't be HAPPIER!!!!

The European Ensemble helped me propose to my girlfriend, and we will be grateful to Edina and the quartet forever.

Story:

I chose this quartet after listening to samples from several Dallas quartets. The European Ensemble is by far the best. I contacted the leader (Edina), explaining my proposal plan: I wanted to surprise my girlfriend in the restaurant of our first date, with a quartet. I also wanted to serenade my now-fiance, singing a song on my guitar. I *really* wanted the quartet to accompany me. I was very worried that no ensemble would be willing to accommodate this.

However, Edina said that they would be very happy accompany me! She was incredibly supportive, professional and warm through the entire process. She met me at the restaurant beforehand, and she worked with me and the restaurant owner, to make it perfect.

She and the quartet created a beautiful arrangement, and I was amazed.

My plan was for the quartet to be out of our view, and begin playing Canon in D. We would hear the music, and think "Hey! Why is there a live string quartet playing?!". However, the quartet is so good, that it sounded exactly like a professional high-end CD recording. My girlfriend did not think anything was unusual. :) (Edina had anticipated that this would happen, so I walked my girlfriend into the room, as planned. :)

Edina and the quartet were dressed beautifully, and they were extremely professional, perfectly switching songs based on small cues, and their own recognition of the "mood".

The final surprise came when Edina sent me a photograph she had taken during the moment I proposed. It was a perfect photo, taken at the perfect moment, and neither of us even realized that she had done it during their performance.

Edina seemed personally invested in helping me make this event a perfect moment, and she more than succeeded. :)

I can't even begin to thank the vendor enough. The music that your string trio performed for our wedding on Sunday May 3rd was amazing. It was so beautiful. My only regret is that I wasn't out in the gardens to listen to the music for the half hour before the ceremony. I know our guests really enjoyed the music. I also wanted to commend and thank your group for their flexibility. Three quarters of our guests were stuck downtown due to a bike race that closed most of the streets. Our ceremony actually started 20 min late to allow for the bus to arrive with all the out of town guests. The string trio agreed to stay through the delay and the ceremony and made sure that we still had the music for our wedding. I was blown away by their commitment and flexibility. I will be forever grateful.

It was such a pleasure to work with European Ensemble String Quartet! At first I was a little nervous about the fact that I had never met with them prior to my wedding, however, they are true professionals and know exactly what is expected! They created such a beautiful atmosphere during my ceremony and truly added such a special touch to the day. They are great!!

We can't say enough good about Edina and the other musicians. This wedding was done on very short notice so no time to micro manage them. She was very helpful with music selections and putting us at ease. They were prompt, very professional, and played the most beautiful music...and a great variety. It was perfect! Everyone attending raved about them.
I can't say enough good. Probably the best vendor decision we made.
We highly recommend them for any event you may be considering.

European Ensemble played before our wedding ceremony and during our dinner this past weekend, they were amazing. Everyone commented on how great they sounded and how much fun their music selection was. I used European Ensemble for the ceremony music at my wedding. I got so many compliments! I never actually met them in person until the day of the wedding but everything went smoothly. I worked with Edina through emails and she was very quick to answer my questions and respond. Everything was perfect! I would definitely recommend them to anybody!!!

The music was skillfully and charmingly played. The selections offered were excellent, plus they agreed to arrange a piece special to my daughter and me ("Voi Che Sapete") that was not on the list. The guests were delighted with their request list available during the appetizer period.

This group made the wedding really super special. The music was incredible and their repertoire included classical music of course but also great arrangements of recent popular music. They were so easy to work with, incredibly responsive and professional. I couldn't rave about this group enough.

The only con of my experience with European Ensemble Strings is that I didn't get to hear enough of them! As the bride, I missed the prelude and postlude music and all the processional. Edina and her team are wonderful. I received immediate responses back every time I emailed. I thought their pricing was extremely reasonable- looking back now, I wish I had booked them for our cocktail hour too. It is WORTH IT. Their song list is extensive, and they are willing to play any kind of contemporary music (yes, even Led Zeppelin). I found many quartet/strings companies that will only play classical, so my husband and I were absolutely set on European Strings.
I will never forget walking down the aisle to the Braveheart theme (I am telling you, every man at our ceremony thought it was the best ceremony music EVER). And I loved the recessional to Bruno Mars 'Just the Way you Are'. They were there on time (early actually). I never heard a peep from them on the day of, which eliminated some stress for me. We had our ceremony outdoors and it was extremely windy, but their music was still gorgeous and they made no complaints. I would absolutely recommend this group to anyone planning a wedding. It is such a special touch, it is worth the price. You will remember your walk down the aisle and your first walk as a married couple forever- truly, I would forego other touches and expenses to get European Strings. I am so thrilled I was able to book them.

European Ensemble provided our ceremony and cocktail hour music. We selected contemporary music put to strings, and it was absolutely beautiful. They even learned a song at our request. Great to work with.

We had originally booked the trio to play at our small wedding, but as a surprise a week before the wedding, we were upgraded to the quartet at no additional charge. The music was a huge hit at the wedding. They played the traditional classic stuff before the ceremony, and then switched gears as soon as we were pronounced man and wife by playing Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" (our choice!). Everyone loved the music - from my grandparents to my friends. It was a fun, elegant touch for our wedding.

The European Ensemble trio was perfect for our outdoor ceremony. They sounded amazing, and I loved that their website has so many sound samples. You can get a really good idea of what certain songs will sound like, which made making our choices for our ceremony much easier. I walked down the aisle to Storybook Love, and it was absolutely perfect.

We had the European Ensemble Violin Cello Duo...Our wedding was Saturday, May 14, 2011 and this group of ladies were absolutely wonderful, professional, beautifully dressed and so patient and understanding. The leader of the group keeps in contact from the moment you book all the way to the day of the wedding. They have a wonderful website to listen to sample music and at our wedding ceremony they played all our favorite songs, I am most pleased with the fact that they were so understanding and still joyful and patient with us because our wedding was 45 minutes late due to unforseen circumstances and the Violin & cello duo continued to play, smile, and remain patient, they even took time to congratulate us after we were married. When I was close to the ceremony site I could hear them playing and I was also impressed with the fact that they played the bride's entrance song right on cue and continued to play it until I made it to the alter because I entered from a bridge down to the alter...I am very pleased and completely recommend them to any bride & groom who wants a wonderful music ensemble. Again we went with the violin cello duo and they were PERFECT, all of our guest said they truly enjoyed the music and I don't think the ceremony would have been complete without them, I recommend them and am truly grateful we were blessed with such an amazing group of ladies.!!!!

Although I never got to meet Edina, the music they played for our ceremony was beautiful. Their website was easy to use and helped me get a real idea of what their songs sounded like. Edina was prompt in email replies and kept me updated when a payment was due. Overall I was very satisfied with the services they provided, and I think their fees are competitive compared to other quartets.

Edina and the rest of European Ensemble were so great to us during the planning stages of our wedding! She was so helpful and the music on the website was so beautiful so it was easy to pick out all of our selections! Their fee was very reasonable as well! She was so easy to work with the day of as well, we forgot to pay the balance for her services a few days before the event but she worked with us to be able to pay the day of thank goodness! Things get a little hectic right before the wedding so it was sweet of her to still play for us and work with our schedule. The day of they were there on time and the music was so beautiful! We had so many complements on their preformance, I would highly recommend European Ensemble for your wedding!

I can't believe how amazing this group of ladies was! They made it so easy to pick music and had all kinds of songs that nobody else had! I looked at a lot of other groups, but their music selection was the BEST! There was one song they didn't have but the leader said she could make it specially for us, and she did. I cried when I watched my wedding video and heard our song being played. It made me so happy, even though I was spaced out during the ceremony and didn't remember a thing, but I can appreciate it watching the video.

European Ensemble isn't the cheapest but who wants the cheapest because you get what you pay for. This quartet is the BEST, most professional group. I saw a lot of groups at bridal shows and they amazed me. To hear them live and in person was an experience, and to hire them for my wedding was all my pleasure.

I was so happy with Edina and the European Ensemble! They have a huge selection of songs and most of it is online so you can listen to samples and easily pick and choose for your event. They'll do whatever it takes to make your event fun and special. I received so many compliments on the music played before and during our ceremony! We used the European Ensemble for both our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour music. They exceeded all our expectations! Edina was wonderful to work with throughout the process. She met with us upfront to discuss our vision for the wedding. This was very refreshing since many quartets won’t even meet with you in person. She was also quick to respond to every correspondence throughout the planning process. Edina even took a song that we loved from Cirque du Soleil and translated it for the quartet to play in our ceremony. It was beautiful! We received so many compliments on the music. We loved that the European Ensemble’s music selection is so versatile. We wanted more contemporary music for our wedding and they delivered it perfectly. We’d also like to mention how beautiful and professional they look. While music is of course the primary focus, it’s also nice to have a good visual presentation for your wedding. I cannot recommend them enough!

They were amazing! They can play a ton of different songs in all different genres. They even allowed one of our nieces to sing along to Ave Maria during our ceremony and it was perfect.
I wish I wasn't so distracted by the getting married part because I would have loved to have heard all their songs.

European String Ensemble Enhanced the Wedding

We recently used European String Ensemble for our daughter’s wedding and everyone loved them. They played before the ceremony, during the ceremony, and at the cocktail hour. They were very professional and flexible with the music selection. At each step of the wedding ceremony, they allow you to select the music from a very large list of songs. My daughter was very pleased that she could pick unique songs for the wedding party procession, our walk down the aisle (still crying), and for the exit. We are very satisfied with the overall service provided. Thank you Edina!

My husband and I teeter tottered back and forth whether or not we wanted to spend the extra $$ on having a string quartet. It was an a luxury expense, but we thought that it would be a magical touch to our ceremony since were not getting married in a so-called church. EE was out of our budget, but the reviews online were so good - I knew I would get buyers remorse if I went with someone less expensive. I met with Edyna to see if EE would be worth the extra money..it seemed as though. She was extremely confident in her and her team. She even had the rare music that my husband and I wanted played in our ceremony. She assured me that her team was actually her team, and that she didn't just hire 3 other random musicians for each gig. She explained how the 4some always do gigs together, and if for some reason one of the 4 could not be there, each one had their own replacement that also played with the quartet on a regular basis. When I went into the ceremony space to get a sneak peak at the decorations before our guests arrived I was bummed to see no Edyna. In fact, I only recognized one face from the website and I witnessed 2 ladies introducing themselves to eachother. I didn't say anything because I still had confidence, but I was just a little confused and dissapointed. We went from almost not having a quartet at all to having one more expensive than planned, but the confidence Edyna exuded made the extra money spent worth the peace of mind. Edyna's confidence in her and her teams talent together is what sold me on a quartet and to spend extra for them. HOWEVER, from what I can remember, the music sounded fantastic - I definitely don't have a buyers remorse.

Communicating with the ensemble coordinator was very frustrating. Emails were not returned promptly, contracts were not returned promptly, and communication was overall very difficult and frustrating. However, on the day of the wedding, their execution was flawless and we were very pleased with the actual work they performed. Very profesional performance staff.

I submited a very detailed list of music I wanted played during the ceremony. I also payed $75 extra to have them compose a song that was played at my parent's and in-law's weddings. The day of my wedding, the pastor, who is also my cousin, was talking to them about the music. He realized they were not going to play the correct music and explained what songs I wanted played (the songs were listed in the program as well.) They didnt even know what song I wanted played when I walked down the aisle.

The ceremony began, and right off the bat, they played the wrong song for the gradparent/parents. I had never heard the song they played but it was DEFINATELY not the song I payed them to compose. Then they played the wrong song for the bridesmaids and groomesman, realized about halfway they were wrong and one started playing the correct song while the others played something else. By the end of the song, they were on the same page.

As I entered the church they, thank God, played Canon in D, which is what I wanted and it was beautiful. Everything from there on out was great. The music was all beautiful, but not what I wanted. They are very talented musicians, which is why I was so suprised. If you choose them, I would meet with them personally before your wedding and make sure they know what you want.

I selected this group (trio) because of all the 5 star reviews here, but I did not receive 5 star service.

Communication was mainly via email and was very responsive. However, I noticed that Edina (the leader) confused my name in a couple of the responses. I figured calling might be better, so I did and all seemed fine.

The rate was $183 per musician per hour, which seemed on the high side for this type of group, but the reviews were so good, and their website seemed to be one of the best out there.

On the day of the ceremony, they setup 20 mins before their playing time, which was good. Edina then notified me the outside temp was 58 deg, and the contract said they only play above 63 deg and they were doing a favor by being there (even though it was warming up as the day progressed). Also, because it's so cold, they were not going to play after the ceremony. She told me this ~30 mins before the ceremony started, and I didn't really have time to understand it. I was really stressed thinking they were going to play music for the brides entrance but not play when we were pronounced married. Luckily, they did play the pronouncement part, but didn't play any of filler music after that.

Despite this, the music was indeed beautiful.

So all in all, quality of the music, top notch. Professionism, not great. Value, they seem overpriced and I would have gone with someone else if I knew what I know now.

The Good:
The music was beautiful and they did a great job at our wedding and reception. They are very talented musicians and were fairly easy to work with minus the problems mentioned below.

The Bad:
Three days before my wedding Edina calls me to tell me that I owe more money, because she messed up the contract! I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I had tried to stay in close contact with her since we booked the trio 9 months before the wedding, and all she ever told me was that everything was great. Then she wants to call me 3 days before the wedding to tell me this. I was furious not just because of the price hike but mainly because of the timing! I do not recommend European Ensemble, but if you use them, be sure to keep your original contract. I still had mine, but Edina tried to tell me that just because she made a mistake, she should not be out the money. I was very unpleased to say the least. Edina finally changed her tune and did not make us pay the extra money.

Overall, they did a good job at our wedding but the problem mentioned above made it into a poor customer experience for us. She assured me that this was that first time a problem like this had happened so we just happened to be unlucky in this regard. Edina did not make us fork over the extra money so everything turned out ok and we had music at our wedding. If you choose them, I would meet with them personally before your wedding several times and make sure they look and verify your contract so everyone is on the same page days before the wedding.

This was the only vendor that we were unhappy with in our entire wedding. The music was lovely, but there was a large lack of professionalism and communication during and after the wedding. Before the wedding I was delighted with our communications and thought we were on the same page.

Beautiful music but would have gone with another company had I known the issues we would experience.

I must say first that the music was beautiful. The musicians that Edina sent were very talented. However, on the day of my wedding Edina had a friend of hers visiting from Hungary. Too make a long story short, Edina allowed her curious friend to come to my private wedding ceremony because he wanted to take pictures and see what "an american wedding was like". He was first caught roaming the ceremony site before the ceremony. He asked me if he could take a picture of me and I told him no, seeing as how I had no idea who this man was. I figured after that, he would have manners enough to leave. Instead of leaving he decided to roam around during my wedding ceremony and take pictures of my family and friends for his own personal use. He even had the audacity to walk up on the ceremony stage while it was going on. There he was in front of my pastor, guests, and me and my bridal party taking pictures. He distracted me during my ceremony as well as my guests. Trust me, as a bride the last thing you want to be thinking during your wedding ceremony is "who is that man interrupting my ceremony and why is he taking pictures." He literally stood directly behind my pastor, directly in my site line, with his big personal camera just shooting away. I just can't believe that Edina would think sending an uninvited friend of hers to my private ceremony would be ok. Especially a friend with as little manners and consideration for me on my wedding day. I have no idea what this man is doing with all the personal pictures he took of my family and friends. I want everyone to know of this because this should NEVER be something that should happen during a bride's wedding ceremony.

And as for Edina, the owner of the company, she is angry with me for not accepting her apology as to what happened. She called me a person "looking for war and not peace," and an "unhappy newlywed." Clearly she has no understanding as to what a wedding ceremony means to a bride. How inconsiderate of her. I guess she thinks that interrupting a personal, private, once in a life time ceremony is no big deal, and that I should just understand that "all her friend wanted was a few personal pictures of an American wedding." At my expense? No thank you.
