Mylah is the most amazing photographer, but even more important she is such a fun person to be around. She creates an atmosphere of fun and laughter that makes you almost forget you're being photographed.
You end up spending a lot of time throughout your wedding day with your photographer and Mylah made every moment so fun, casual, and natural. We elected to have our engagement photos with Mylah as well and I would highly recommend this. It helped us to get an idea of how she worked and made it even more comfortable to be around her on wedding day.
We chose Mylah after reading her numerous amazing reviews and how other couples felt she kept them calm and comfortable in front of the camera. This was 100% accurate. We are not used to being photographed and we were both pretty nervous about looking awkward in our photos, but Mylah has this ease about her that makes the process so natural and seamless. She got us laughing naturally in photos and the quality of photos she captures reflects that. Even my family commented on how much they liked Mylah when taking our family & wedding party photos.
She is also super professional and prompt in communication. She helped to participate in the creation of our timeline for the wedding day to ensure we left enough time for everything without being rushed. We got our sneak peak photos only 1.5 weeks after the wedding and what a treat to get to look at those while on our honeymoon!! We got the entire wedding catalogue within 3 weeks, and the quality of the photos is insane!! She captured the joy, color and love of our wedding day perfectly.

The best decision we made throughout our wedding planning process was hiring Mylah! She is the absolute BEST! We genuinely had so much fun with her. Our engagement shoot felt like we were hanging out with a long-time friend. She got our pictures back to us in a timely manner and we were extremely impressed!
She was also very flexible when I changed my getting-ready location for the wedding last minute. I initially felt so bad about changing it, but she was extremely supportive and understanding!
The day of our wedding was perfect thanks in part to Mylah! She was there for us at every special moment and was able to expertly capture everything! Not only are her pictures STUNNING, but she is the sweetest person you will ever meet. She was genuinely SO happy for us and did absolutely everything she could to make our day perfect.
I will truly remember Mylah for the rest of my life! -

Hands down the BEST
Absolutely amazed! I found Mylah online in a google search. Her entire website spoke to me, down to every word! I might have had tears of sentiment reading certain parts. I tried hard to look at more options, but ALWAYS came back to her website. No one else’s work caught my attention like hers. I was blown away with my bridal portraits and my sneak peak from this past weekends wedding! I can’t wait to see the rest very soon! Talk about making you feel comfortable in front of the camera, that is Mylah. She has great suggestions and knows her stuff! She really listens to the vision you have. I feel like I have gained a new friend. She definitely has gained a HUGE fan!!! -

Mylah was one of the first vendors we met with during the beginning processes of our wedding planning. I was set on not really wanting to meet with anyone and letting my wife to be handle everything, but I came along to our meeting with Mylah. We had plans of meeting with at least one other photographer, but after meeting with Mylah, we knew there was no need to meet with anyone else. She was energetic, helpful and a pleasure to meet the first time. She went above & beyond our expectations when it came to our engagement photos and then wedding day. I can't say enough praise for the work and effort Mylah showed for our event and I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for an exceptional photographer. 10/10, would book 1000x over. -

Working with Mylah of Eureka Photography was nothing short of terrific. Mylah photographed another family wedding a few years ago and we were so glad that she was available to shoot ours! From her professionalism to her sheer talent and photographic eye, we could not have made a better decision. We really enjoyed getting to know Mylah during our engagement photo session and loved the photos and were so impressed by how quickly she got them back to us. On our wedding day, Mylah was so helpful to us, helping guide us seamlessly between different parts of our day while capturing beautiful images (and helping me, the bride, remain calm haha!). Our wedding photos were returned to us so quickly and are so special to us- they are just gorgeous and truly capture the essence of the day.
Mylah, thank you for capturing our day so beautifully, for putting us at ease, encouraging us to be ourselves and for giving us beautiful images that we will cherish for years to come. You are the best and we are so glad that you were an integral part of our wedding day! We look forward to a future reason to hire you again! -
Mandy Sent on 06/06/2018Never in a million years could I ever thank Mylah enough for all that she did for me...she made us feel so incredibly comfortable during the engagement session, by time the wedding got here (5/5/18) she felt like an old friend! Her photos obviously speak for themselves, but I just gotta say...WOW...she absolutely blew it out of the water! Everyone is obsessed with our photos and a month later I still can’t look at them without crying. She has such a gift with and personal connection with each couple she shoots and really knows how to bring out the special moments and tell a story through her photos. We live in Houston, but you better believe I’ll be driving to Austin for her to shoot every major event in our lives. Mylah girl, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!!!

Laura Sent on 09/11/2018Hiring Mylah and Dylan to document our wedding day was the best decision we made with regard to planning our wedding. This husband/wife team did an incredible job capturing the best, most intimate details of our day. Our friends and family have said that our wedding photos are among the best they have ever seen, and we can’t help but agree. Mylah and Dylan got to know me and my new husband, and it really helped make us feel comfortable in front of the camera. I think that the mark of a truly great photographer is someone who brings out the best in people and captures that on camera. Mylah has such a contagious personality and we loved working with her not only on our wedding day, but also during our engagement photo shoot and my bridal portrait session.
The best part about hiring Eureka was how much of a delight it was to work with them. Mylah is one of the most responsive professionals in the business and was always exceptionally quick to reply to my emails with the friendliest message, which I really appreciated. She published a blog from each our photo sessions (engagements, bridals, wedding), and they were so fun to read and share with family. During the wedding planning process, I often spent time going through her other blog posts and instagram page to get wedding ideas and identify other vendors to hire. If you take a look at the content she publishes, you will be blown away with how useful it is. Mylah is truly as friendly and helpful in person as she is online. We would absolutely recommend them, regardless of occasion! -

Mylah is aboslutely incredible!
My husband and I will never be able to thank Mylah enough for all that she did for us during our wedding season! From engagement photos to wedding photos and all the fun stuff in between, Mylah was beyond incredible. We wish we could get married all the time just so that we could work with her regularly! Photography is not only her career, but it’s what she was made for. God has truly blessed her with this talent and skill, and we’re so thankful she came into our lives. Her eye and ability to capture things you wouldn’t even think of left us speechless. She took so much stress off our shoulders by being proactive, on top of everything, being incredibly efficient, and just overall being an incredible and fun human to be around! Taking photos can be nerve wracking and awkward, but not with Mylah! My biggest tip is to let Mylah do her thing, trust her, and do “first look” photos! Her photos went beyond our wildest imagination and we will treasure them for years to come. -
