Esther made our day so beautiful. She was so kind from the beginning and truly wanted to know what we wanted for our day. The flowers she used were gorgeous and fresh and truly were everything we wanted. All for a much more affordable price than any other florist I reached out to.
Esther is also the sweetest! She is so kind and such a joy to work with. I would recommend her to anyone! -

Marita Sent on 09/10/2018Esther is amazing! She met with us several times before the wedding and listened carefully to everything we said we wanted. She took so much time and care in making sure that the flowers she chose matched the wedding colors perfectly. The arrangements were amazingly beautiful and fragrant. I will definitely use Esther for future events and recommend her to anyone.

Esther was not only professional but very energetic to create the look We were looking for. She was able to emulate the design to perfection from pictures that we showed her. She surpassed any expectations and was a pleasure to work with. Very flexible and responsive to text messages and phone calls. -

Martha Sent on 07/10/2017From the beginning, Esther was a pleasure to work with! At first, I looked into other florists, but their lack of responsiveness had me in a panic. My venue owner had met Esther at a bridal fair, and thankfully, she had Esther's number. Esther was flexible when it came to working with our style, our budget, and time for consultation. She is the last vendor I hired, and she truly made our day perfect. The flowers were everything I dreamed of and more (bouquets, pin corsages for mothers, boutonnieres for men, arch displays, flower crowns for flower girls, and a "just married" wreath for the getaway car). Not to mention the cake, which just looked to die for!
Esther prides herself in not overbooking herself so that she can make every client feel special on her wedding day. Our wedding was more than perfect thanks to her. I feel so lucky we got married in El Dorado County because Esther was right there when we needed her! -

User1983659 Sent on 12/24/2014I feel like I put off my flowers until the last minute (2 weeks prior) and am so thankful that Esther was there to save the day. She worked with me even though I was out of town and I was extremely happy with my customized bouquet and bridal flowers. What rocked was that she was the florist that coordinated with our venue the Glover Mansion so my wedding flowers matched everything! Definitely worth every penny :) -
User1169938 Sent on 05/21/2013From the beginning I was a little unsure about using Esther's services because she is based out of her home. I decided to go with her because I won 50% off of her services. She seemed very kind, but that quickly went out the window. She got aggrivated with me when I asked her to give me an itemized bill. She insisted that I would end up paying more by doing that instead of just going with the $1200 budget that I gave her, but in all actuallity she was wrong! She realized that her profit was going to be less because of the 50% off and so she skimped on the flowers so she could still have a profit. On the day of the wedding my decorator said she dropped off the flowers and split. (15mins max) She did say she had a personal event later that day, but that she would set up from 9am-12pm. She was supposed to attach ribbon around the base of the flowers/top of the vase but instead did a haphazard job around the base of the plate that the flowers rests on. It looked crooked and awkward like a child did it. The color of the water inside of the glass was wrong and she didn't insert the floralyte! On top of the vases was supposed to be a ball of red roses and red carnations, but most looked like disformed jellybeans, and even worse there were huge gaps in between the flowers!!!! You could see the green styrofoam. The bouqets that she quoted me at $75 a bridesmaid had a total of 8 flowers and had floral pins sticking out of it. She is lucky my sister doesn't sue her for the injury she sustained. Bottom line is she did not follow my requests, she fought with me over the price, she did a poor job, and she attempted to steal the gems and floralytes I put in the bottom of the vases during pick up on Sunday! If I was not there she would have taken them with her and probably used them in her next wedding. Do not use this woman for your wedding.Esther's Floral Designs's reply:

Despite the anonymity of the review, I am certain of who wrote it. This was a particularly challenging wedding in which I dealt with a bride who wanted it all for a very low budget at the very last minute (two weeks before the wedding). I offered the bride 50% off since I was not going to be available for the entirety of her wedding day and gave clear instructions with regards to where the bride could find her bouquets, labeled corsages, and boutonnieres. Once I felt confident that the bride could carry on without me, I left.
I am very pleased with the work my assistant and I did given the difficult situation. Rather than dispute all of the groom’s negative comments, I would invite you to read all of the other reviews that highlight my due diligence and the pride I take as a wedding florist. :)
