OUTSTANSING VENUE... This place is TOP NOTCHED: Food was AMAZING, and the Staff was all over my guest serving and meeting every need... I HIGHLY Recommend this place !! Ms. Glenda and the Esplanade team were fantastic. The building is beautiful so I didn't have to do too much decorating. The food was delicious. Everyone continues to tell us how much they enjoyed the fried chicken. Ms. Glenda has been flexible with my and my husband throughout our planning process. We had the reception here. The reception venue was easily accessible for all our guests. They were easy to work with. Everything was set up as we had requested. The staff here was very pleasant to work with. They were quick to respond to all my random emails throughout the planning process. They were very accommodating for rehearsal times and allowing me to come by and show the venue to my coordinator.
The venue itself is beautiful; not much decorating needed.

Great venue! Very modern and contemporary. The only downside is that you have to use there catering which may cost more in the end but it was a great experience overall!!Great venue! This banquet center is the finest on the East side of Memphis. It has state of the art equipment and a very clean facility. I believe the cost of this facility after Food & Beverage was too high. I love the venue. When my husband and I first booked it was the only place that fit the picture we wanted to create. The staff and management was very accommodating, but the problem I had with them, was management changed three times, and I wasn't alerted of who was handling my account. This is a beautiful venue! We had our reception at night. My first experience with them was not the best. I had set up a time to meet with a coordinator and she ended up not showing up nor answering calls or emails after the no-show. I was completely turned off until months later, I booked my date with the church; Esplanade was a short distance from the ceremony and my mom convinced me to give them a call again. They had recently gone through a complete overhaul with the owner and management. The new staff was wonderful to work with, and we quickly realized that this was the reception venue! Our coordinator was a very prompt in answering...This is a beautiful venue! We had our reception at night. My first experience with them was not the best. Our coordinator was a very prompt in answering all our questions and concerns. After our guest list grew, she accommodated the need for extra space, tables, linens, and chairs. We gave her our budget and she drew up a contract specifically to what we needed.
The only drawback is the requirement to use Esplanade's catering. The food was okay. We did have several tastings, which I appreciated. The second thing that was frustrating was the lack of drink refills during the reception. Guests were expected to keep the same glass all night. Half way through the night, the staff started clearing the tables from dinner, but taking away the glasses. I didn't appreciate that my guests didn't have any tea or water to drink while taking a break from dancing!
Overall, we were extremely pleased! There was plenty of room in the event space. The dance floor was large. It was clean and the staff was very professional. Our reception was everything we wanted and more! -

My finance and I spoken with an Esplanade worker and they we’re very nice ,professional, patient and firm. I couldn’t wait to meet them in person.
