My husband and I got married in October of 2022, and from our first phone call over a year before our wedding, we knew Eryc was the one to capture our day! We were first drawn to Eryc's photos because they are both contemporary and timeless in feel, and he absolutely nailed this with our wedding. Throughout our whole wedding photography journey (including engagement photos), he was very professional and easy to work with. You spend a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding wedding day, and he made us, our families, and our friends feel so comfortable--it really felt like hanging out with a friend with a camera. We will treasure our wedding photos forever, and we really can't thank Eryc enough! -

The best decision of our whole wedding..
When we first were looking for vendors, a photographer with a cool and edgy style that would capture the most beautiful moments of our special day, was the most important thing to us. We found Eryc’s portfolio and knew we had met our match. Eryc saw our wedding through over the course of two years and three event dates and remained easy to work with, professional and flexible through the whole process. He first captured our intimate wedding of 10 people in March of 21. We were in awe of his work, his ability to design and keep everyone to the timeline of the day, and his swiftness in returning the final prints. He then captured our wedding “anniversary” celebration in March 22 and it could not have been better. His eye for detail and perfection is unmatched. Not only is he able to photograph intimate and candid moments perfectly, he is also able to style and execute the perfect posed photos as well. Eryc is a true goddess to work wit. He is a new best friend, insanely talented, and his work is simply remarkable. -

Eryc exceeded our expectations when it came to capturing our special day. He was professional yet we both felt so comfortable with him (even though we had no clue how to pose in front of a camera).
Eryc did prior research on the area we chose to get married in order for us to have a seamless and stress free experience. He knew the best angles, buildings, poses, lighting, tips & tricks for a City Hall wedding, subway stations, hand placements, dress movement - the list goes on. He even brought along a clear umbrella on the day as it was forecast to rain - this clear umbrella was a lifesaver as it let light in for photos and we avoided getting wet. Genius.
The photos Eryc captured were incredible, and everyone who looks through our wedding album can’t believe how beautiful they are. I cannot recommend Eryc enough and we are so lucky to have found him. -

Of all of the decisions that we had to make in organizing our wedding, choosing Eryc for our photography was *easily* one of the very best.
From our first phone call with him, we knew that we were not only in the hands of an incredibly talented photographer, but a true friend.
Eryc's photographic eye is unparalleled. He knows how to stage the perfect poses, and capture the coolest candids. His photographs made our wedding look like a beautiful play, with various acts and scenes playing out, all with their own distinct flair and character. Our ability to relive that day with ease is all thanks to Eryc.
And not only did Eryc beautifully capture the best moments of our wedding, he was also incredibly supportive and thoughtful throughout the whole process. On a day that can be maximum stress, we always felt maximum relief each moment we spent with him.
In fact, we trust Eryc so much, he is even listed and signed as a legal witness to our marriage :) -

Eryc actually shot the wedding of a friend of ours, and we had such a great time meeting him and were so impressed with how he carried himself throughout the day that we reached out to him about our wedding before we even saw her pictures.
Those initial phone calls really set the tone. My wife and I were trying to keep things relatively non-traditional and DIY and really, after having already been together for almost 10 years, just have a big pop-punk love party but with all the pieces that would help our family recognize it as a wedding. Eryc totally got it, going beyond just what kind of pictures we wanted and helping us structure the day in a way that trimmed the fat, flowed well, and made for the most fun possible.
We got married at the Bell House in Gowanus and Eryc ran the show for the most part. We didn't have a day-of coordinator so he kept everyone to a strict schedule - portraits in some February golden hour, assembly-line-efficient family pictures, leading into the music and ceremony and party without feeling rushed or lagging.
The pictures he produced look like such a dramatic rock show, which we didn't really know how to ask for but he just had such a good feel for the space and our interests that we couldn't imagine being happy with anything else. But like I mentioned, he did our friend's wedding, and it was in a totally different style. He can hit such a wide range of aesthetics and is genuinely excited to find a way to make the photos unique and deeply personal and well suited to the Bride and Groom and the overall vibe of the event.
Hiring Eryc made our wedding so easy and stylish. The real difficultly we are facing is how to whittle down the hundreds of pictures into an album, they're all so high energy and so sweet. -

When it came to choosing a photographer for our wedding day - I was *extremely* selective. I spoke to maybe 20 photographers before finally being referred to Eryc. Not only was his style exactly what we were looking for to capture the big day but he put me so at ease on our first call I couldn’t wait to share the find with my then-fiancé. Throughout the many covid-induced changes in the planning process Eryc was invaluable. He was quick to answer e-mails and even created a wedding day timeline that would end up being the guideline we’d send out to all of our vendors. Then came the big day. He was amazing. Calm and coordinated, an incredibly quick study in learning the VIP’s names, we can easily say he kept the day moving. Every single one of our 40 guests commented on how lovely he was. When the photos arrived, needless to say we were FLOORED. The day was magical yet he somehow made it feel even more intimate, lovely and special in his work. His correspondence time remained short and we had our full suite of photos within the time promised. If this review hasn’t said it already - We cannot recommend Eryc more. -

Eryc was such a pleasure to work with!! We were looking for a photographer for our intimate family wedding ceremony and dinner that would capture the day, and Eryc was incredible. He was so fun and friendly from the very first phone call, and he captured the day perfectly. The day was a bit chaotic with our entire crazy family showing up before we were done getting ready, and even with so many opinions and people, babies, children and dogs running around, Eryc was calm and made me, Paul and our families feel comfortable and relaxed.
Before the ceremony, he even grabbed the two of us to do a quieter impromptu shoot in an area near my temple I had never noticed before - these were some of my favorite photos, and also gave Paul & I a moment alone to reflect, destress and relax before the ceremony.
The photos he delivered were absolutely beautiful and perfectly reflected the intimacy of the ceremony. He also added in some gorgeous, more artistic photos that I never would have thought to ask for, but my personal favorites capturing such amazing silly and heart-warming candids. These are the ones I find myself coming back to over and over, and they send me right back to that day.
Thank you Eryc for being such an important part of our wedding day!! We are so grateful for these photos. -

Obsessed with Eryc
I cant imagine having getting married without Eryc by my side.
He is the kindest person with a light-hearted and easy going attitude. I’m typically not comfortable in front of the camera, especially in front of so many people, but Eryc did a great job making me feel comfortable and confident.
In addition to his stellar personality, Eryc is amazingly talented. He made a hot and humid day on a roof in July look like an effortless and fabulous Vogue-worthy event. He has a great eye for capturing genuine moments, all the laughs, hugs, tears, and dance moves were captured beautifully and I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Eryc is remarkably talented and a pleasure to work with!
I found him through a family friend whose indoor February NYC wedding he had shot impeccably well. After checking out his Instagram page @erycpretzeltaco and his website (www.erycpdt.com) I knew I wanted to work with him. He turns a dream destination or a cityscape into art. I could tell from our phone conversations he would put me and my husband at total ease – which he absolutely did – and we are two people that prefer not being the center of attention.
Eryc shot our March 2019 wedding in New Haven, CT and we are thrilled with the outcome! He is a complete professional with a genuine, relaxing, and disarming disposition. The results were beautiful and timely and I couldn’t recommend him enough.

Eryc photographed our October 2018 wedding in Philadelphia at the Fleisher Art Memorial. My husband and I couldn’t have been happier with the photos and our experience working with Eryc!!! From helping me prepare a timeline for the day to brainstorming photo ideas to the execution of the days events, Eryc was there by our side as a calming and positive force. Many of our guests even commented how comfortable they felt getting their photo taken by Eryc. We cherish the photos he captured of us and our loved ones!
