Working with Erin for our wedding was honestly a breeze. Right from our first conversation, she made everything feel simple. She answered every question I had without rushing me, and she was flexible with the payment plan, which was a huge help during the chaos of wedding prep.
The day of the wedding, she showed up ready for anything — boots on, climbing up the mountain on our property, hopping over rocks, and getting right into the thick of it to capture the views behind us. She never hesitated once. She’s just one of those people who’s grounded, easygoing, and really easy to connect with.
When we got our gallery, we were blown away. Not only were the photos beautiful, but she delivered more edited images than what was originally included. That little extra effort meant a lot.
If you’re looking for a photographer who’s flexible, down-to-earth, and willing to go the distance (literally), Erin is your girl. We’re so glad we chose her.

Erin Lluvia James Photography captured many gorgeous photos on our wedding day. We chose our venue for several reasons, one being its scenic beauty. Erin not only captured the beautiful background, but the joy & happiness in our photos. Her natural editing style showcases who we are as well as the beautiful fall colors in the landscape and flowers. Erin was very communicative from the beginning and is responsive to any concerns. Despite hardship due to hurricane Helene, she made a way to capture our wedding in Knoxville, TN from Asheville, NC so soon after the disaster and we are so thankful. We love our photos and would highly recommend Erin Lluvia James Photography. -

Erin communicates well, is timely, friendly, and her calming and positive energy help keep things going smoothly. And the end result? Photos that are more than we ever could have hoped for!
Erin ensured that we did actions so we were not focused on the camera, but just enjoying the moments which allowed us to catch some very beautiful and memorable wedding day photos.
Right before our wedding, WNC was affected by flooding with catastrophic damages. Erin lives in an area that was heavily affected, she continued to maintain communications. While we were worried about her safety, she was reassuring us she'd still be available for our wedding.
Erin and I communicated about photo style options, and Erin showed available options to ensure the photos were everything I could hope for. As you can see the two options we worked with are both exquisite! -

Erin was great to work with. She researched our venue prior to our wedding day and had lots of creative ideas and unique shots to choose from. Erin definitely stuck to the plan for photos. She did some minor editing to improve the photos. We felt like she made good use of the many landscapes our venue had to offer. She seemed very comfortable shooting posed pictures. Our wedding day was pretty hectic and Erin went with the flow.
