I highly recommend Erika Contreras and her team. They are the sweetest people and made me so comfortable from the start. They are professional but so personable, it’s like getting ready with friends.
Erika uses top of the line makeup, but my favorite part is how she preps your skin!! She leaves it so hydrated, I didn’t know my skin could look and feel that great.
Erika does your makeup based on your requests and I loved that. My girls and I felt great at the end of our makeup session, it was everything we asked for. And the makeup lasted all night! Same goes for the hair!!! We worked with Barbara who does beautiful work. She did some updos and was able to add clip in extensions I had brought with me.
Erika can accommodate any size group and sets you up with a detailed timeline in order to get everyone done on time. Everything about Erika was superb! She traveled to us and was reliable.

I got married on October 11 at the Hard Rock Vallarta, and Erika and her team were in charge of my bridal party’s hair and makeup. They were absolutely incredible. My makeup lasted the entire day, even with the humidity, and I still don’t understand how it stayed so perfect. I felt so beautiful. Erika just looked at my face and immediately knew how to enhance my features. I trusted her with my eyes closed, and the result was stunning.
My hair also looked gorgeous, even with the humidity and the ocean breeze during the ceremony. Erika and her team truly exceeded my expectations and made me feel like the best version of myself on the most important day of my life. I am so grateful for them. -

I cannot recommend Erika and her team enough! They were absolutely amazing on our wedding day and made the entire morning run so smoothly. We had a big group — myself (the bride), five bridesmaids, the mother of the bride, stepmother of the bride, mother of the groom, and two flower girls — and they somehow managed to complete everyone’s hair and makeup beautifully and right on time!
From the moment they arrived, they were organized, professional, and so kind. They set up quickly, kept everything running seamlessly, and created such a calm and fun atmosphere for everyone. Each person’s look was personalized and flawless — soft and natural for some, more glam for others — and every single one of us felt so confident and beautiful.
My hair and makeup lasted perfectly through happy tears, humidity, and hours of dancing. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to be part of such an important day. Erika - Bridal Look Queen
I absolutely loved my hair and makeup — it was everything I envisioned and held up beautifully all day! Erika and her team did an amazing job on my entire bridal party, creating a variety of hair and makeup looks that suited everyone perfectly. They were especially great with aging skin, making everyone look naturally radiant. A few hairstyles needed tweaks, and they had no problem redoing them to make sure everyone was happy.

I cannot recommend Erika enough! From the very beginning, she was so easy to work with—professional, responsive, and truly attentive to every detail. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. She was quick to respond to any questions and even checked in leading up to the big day to make sure everything was on track.
Not only is she incredibly talented, but her whole team was just as wonderful—helpful, sweet, and efficient. They made the whole experience feel effortless and fun. I booked Erika and her team to do hair and makeup for my family and the groom’s family for our wedding week, and she was amazing to work with. She was professional, accommodating, and punctual, and with 15 people to get ready, that was no small task! Erika kept everyone on track and made the whole process seamless. We hired her for the sangeet, wedding, and reception. The makeup was flawless at each event and lasted beautifully all day, and everyone looked and felt their best. Erika was the utmost professional from initial stages of confirming booking all the way up til execution. We had hair and makeup services for bride, grandmother, sister, mom, and 9 bridesmaids and we were able to start and end on time. She offered free touch ups for ladies that desired that and executed our inspiration masterfully. I was concerned with having a diverse group of ladies as sometimes make up is not matched well and there may not be as much experience with course hair textures. I would recommend Erika’s team 100 times over. It lasted all day and night. -

My day was truly magical thanks to the beautiful work of Erika and Jazmín. Erika always made me feel comfortable, happy and safe. All my guests told me that I looked beautiful, that my essence had not changed and that it highlighted my beauty. My makeup and hair lasted the entire event and it was a beach event and it was very hot! I highly recommend her work and recommend that you do Access bars with her before starting to relax before your big moment. I really highly recommend her work. We had planned for months to meet at a different location before an opening became available at the hotel we were at for the wedding. My bridesmaids all wore different dresses on the day of my wedding. Erika took the time to match all my bridesmaids skin tones to their dresses. The makeup lasted all night even in the humid PV day and night. I have naturally curly and I feel like my hair turned out perfectly! Erika had the best prices and gave the best service. Bridal/Wedding party hair & makeup
Erika was amazing! She made my bridal makeup dreams come true. She made sure we were all ready on time while still putting her absolute heart and soul into her work. Our makeup lasted through the raging Mexico sun, lots of sweating/dancing and humidity. I would 100% reccomend her and her team. The hair her team mate did lasted my 2 bridesmaids and grandmas the entire day through the heat/wind/humidity. So thankful I came across her while booking vendors for our destination wedding. I’ve never felt more beautiful!
I saw Erika’s work through a wedding Venue’s Instagram and immediately knew I had to have her for my wedding day in Puerto Vallarta! She was incredible from start to finish. I did not get to meet her until my wedding day and wasn’t able to get to town for a trial beforehand. So I was fully trusting her with my hair and makeup and my bridal party’s needs as well! She showed up early and we were even ahead of schedule with everyone’s hair/makeup and she accommodated a couple of my aunts that wanted their hair done last minute on the day of the wedding. I showed her a picture of the makeup and hair I wanted and she knocked it out of the park! I felt so gorgeous on my wedding day and my makeup and hair stayed all day and night without any need for a touchup. I was complimented all night about how stunning my make up was! If I could get married again, I wouldn’t change a thing! I wish Erika lived near my in Arizona so I could hire her to do my makeup all the time!Erika Contreras's reply:

Erika Contreras is a class act all around! She is extremely skilled and talented, she has a great team that she is proud of, her communication goes above and beyond all expectations, and she is an absolute sweetheart and so much fun! I am from Los Angeles and love a little extra glam. A lot of the makeup artists suggested did a more natural look. Erika and her team can do it all and they execute perfectly. While I wanted a little bit of extra glam, half my bridal party opted for a soft and more natural glam look and everyone was left so happy with the results. Erika and her team brought our exact visions to life! Another big win for me was Erika's communication. She was always in touch and never forgot to respond. If she was busy, that was communicated and she would get back to me right away when she had the time. I think communication is huge during the wedding process as it reduces stress by elimaring unanswered questions and doubt. I would hire her again and again for any future events and would recommend her without a doubt. She is absolutely phenomenal!
I'd also like to add that I was recovering from food poisoning the day of my wedding and she gave me life. I looked so vibrant and elegant and it made me feel my 100%!!! -
