Do yourself a favor right this minute and book Erica!! We were planning our wedding long distance and had to rely on phone calls, email and a lot of faith to hope that we were making the right choices with vendors. Erica literally had me at “Hello!” From the first phone call, I knew she was the person we needed to work with. Her portfolio showed the exact type of candid, documentary style that I was looking for and her prices are incredibly reasonable. But more than that is the vibrant personality she brings to the table. Her emails are infused with FUN, not just details and $$$. I was so excited to finally meet her on the big day, just as much as I was excited to see our guests. I’ve only seen a couple sneak peeks of the photos from the big day so far and I’m over the moon. Truly, reach out and get in touch with this young lady as quickly as you can – she’s a busy girl for very good reason. Because she’s FABULOUS!!!!Do yourself a favor right this minute and book Erica!! I am so glad we hired Erica! I had never met her until I walked into the venue on my wedding day, but I was immediately at ease and comfortable with her. She puts so much thought and effort into her work, and it really shows. It also helps that she's really funny and she even made my dad (who never smiles in photos) grin from ear to ear. Erica is professional and responded so quickly to all my emails, which was great because I planned this wedding from 1000 miles away. I just got my photos today and they're more wonderful than I ever could have imagined. I have so many beautiful portraits, as well as tons of candids of all my guests. It's amazing how fast the day goes by, and I barely got to see a lot of my guests, but now I have all these great photos of them smiling and enjoying themselves. She's talented and professional, and her prices are more than fair. Check out her blog and you'll see just how much she cares about the couples she photographs. We were so glad to have Erica there for our wedding. From our first meeting through seeing our photos in our online album, she was responsive and all-around pleasant to interact with. She was both enthusiastic and easygoing on the day of our wedding, and our families really appreciated her professionalism. Looking at our photos, it is very clear that she understood what was most important to us - we have some great pictures of our families, and she captured beautifully the details that were especially meaningful to us. We really appreciate everything she contributed to the whole experience!

I could not have hoped for a better experience or for better photographs from a photographer. Erica devoted so much time and attention before my wedding, during my wedding, and after my wedding to ensure that my husband and I were beyond satisfied. She took the time to get to know us and exactly what we wanted, and the photographs exceeded our expectations. She was flexible, sensitive, responsive, friendly and professional. Her photographs have a wonderful artistic quality that truly captured the feel of our wedding. My husband and I chose to elope at The Whitehouse Inn in Williamsburg VA. Because of all of the efforts of Erica and the owners of the Inn our day was perfect. I didn't have all of the pre-planned poses chosen for Erica, I asked her to figure it out. I'm so happy we chose Erica to do our photos. She was incredibly professional and made the entire day a total breeze. Erica had a great blend of standing off to the side and being there when we needed her. None of the moments felt forced or posed and we have 100's of lovely photos as proof. We had arranged to have a second photographer for just the ceremony but Erica had her hang around for the entire night at no extra charge. There are always a couple of thing you wish you had done differently for a wedding; hiring Erica is definitely not one of them! I can't wait to use Erica for a family photo session!I'm so happy we chose Erica to do our photos. She was incredibly professional and made the entire day a total breeze. There was so much planning (and second-guessing) that went into the planning of my daughter's wedding. However, there was no second-guessing when we hired the photographer. At our first meeting, Erica showed us an amazing portfolio of wedding photos she taken. We knew right away that she would capture the emotion and essence of the day....and she did! We now consider her to be our family photographer! We have hired her on several occasions for holiday photographs of our entire family and for birthday photographs of our grandchildren.There was so much planning (and second-guessing) that went into the planning of my daughter's wedding. However, there was no second-guessing when we hired the photographer. At our first meeting, Erica showed us an amazing portfolio of wedding photos she taken. We knew right away that she would capture the emotion and essence of the day....and she did! We now consider her to be our family photographer! Erica did the photography for our wedding at the beginning of her professional career. She was great to work with and caught both the candid and posed moments exceptionally well. She wound up giving us all of the digital 'negatives' and allowed us to pick out our favorites. This was great for us, because I'm such a silly control freak that I wanted to see everything.
Erica also did some family candid photography for us more recently. The photos she caught of our daughter are some of my favorites.
Her prices are beyond fair, she is great to work with, is responsive to emails both before and after the event, and made sure we were all relaxed during both events (and yeah, the wedding had its fair share of drama). If you have specific ideas about the kinds of posed shots you want, definitely let her know and she'll make sure she gets what you want. I set up a Pinterest board and shared it with her, to share ideas on poses, lighting, and techniques that I really liked.
