  Erica is the absolute best!!

  Erica was the absolute best!! I had reached out to her about 2 months prior to our city hall ceremony which is pretty last minute and she was able to accommodate our date and time. My fiance and I wanted someone to capture portraits at the beautiful San Francisco City Hall and Erica was able to capture all of our wonderful moments perfectly. This was our first time getting professional photos taken of us so we were nervous about what poses to do. She guides you in all of your poses so you don't have to worry about that part at all. She also captures some of your candid moments which are so great to look back on. She made the entire photoshoot so much fun! After we received our edited photo gallery, we were soooooo impressed by all of the photos. She has a light and airy feel to her editing which was exactly what I was looking for. We couldn't be happier with our experience with Erica.
  
  If you're on the fence, I say bite the bullet and hire Erica! I 100% recommend Erica for all of your wedding photographer needs!! You won't be disappointed!

  Amazing experience

  I could not recommend Erica and Miguel more! They were a pleasure to work with, from our initial correspondence, to meeting them on the day of our elopement. They were incredibly caring and helped us define exactly what is was we wanted covered for our low key occasion. They put everything they had into making sure they captured our day in a thoughtful & meaningful way. We cannot thank them enough for making our day so special and giving us such beautiful photos to share with family and friends. We will be forever grateful!

  Phenomenal wedding photographers!

  We are SO thankful that we chose Erica and Miguel to photograph our wedding! They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout the entire process and were such a calming presence amidst the chaos of the wedding. They are incredibly professional and take their jobs seriously, they went out of their way to scope out the engagement shoot location and the wedding location beforehand to ensure we got the best photos. They were also so patient with all of our questions (we had a lot!) and put us at ease during the photo sessions, which really helped me and my husband look more natural in our photos!
  
  In addition to their wonderful personalities, their photographs of our wedding are absolutely stunning. We have already referred them to several friends with upcoming weddings and have received so many compliments on our photos. Thank you so much, Erica and Miguel, for capturing our special day!!!

  Amazing Photographer !

  Erica and Miguel are AMAZING ! We hired them for our engagement and wedding photos and we are incredibly happy with the pictures. We were not planning on doing an engagement shoot but are so happy we did because it gave us a chance to get to know them and get in front of the camera before the wedding. They are both very professional, nice and have a great sense of humor. I really wanted to hire a photographer that could take good still photos but also capture great candids. We could not be happier and highly recommend Erica and Miguel !

  Amazing Husband and Wife Team!

  We had an incredible experience working with Erica and Miguel for our wedding last year! They are so kind and professional, and immediately made us feel at ease with being in front of the camera. From our first conversation with them we knew we wanted them to photograph our wedding - and we are so glad they did! Erica was very communicative throughout the whole planning process and we always knew we were in good hands. The photos they took were stunning (both for our engagement photos and wedding photos) and we can't wait to look back at them through the years.   Flexible, Warm & Welcoming, Extremely Talented, and Very Communicative!

  We had our wedding this past June 2021 and we booked with Erica back in 2019 for our wedding that was supposed to occur in June 2020. Due to COVID, we had to postpone. During a time that was extremely emotional and unbelievably stressful, Erica provided flexibility along with a very warm and welcoming personality that kept my husband and I at ease. From our engagement shoot where she was incredibly creative and willing to travel/stay longer than we originally anticipated to get the perfect sunset photos to being communicative beyond the day of our wedding; Erica has been amazing! We plan on continuing to book with her for all our future family photo shoots and highly recommend her to anyone looking for more than just a wedding photographer but also a fun and friendly personality present on your wedding day. She always goes above and beyond to get the perfect shots that truly capture all the emotions, joy, and fun we are experiencing in those big moments of our lives.

  Amazing Photographer and Experience!

  We are so incredibly lucky that we found Erica!! Both she and her husband Miguel were amazing to work with, and made our wedding day all the more enjoyable by being part of it. We were terribly unlucky and had to change the venue for our wedding 2 weeks before, and Erica was nothing but understanding and helpful. We felt very at home during our shoot, and Erica had lots of very good ideas for poses and locations. We could not have imagined better photos to remember our wedding day by. Not only are we thankful to Erica and Miguel for being our photographer, we walked away from this experience with two new friends.

  Best Wedding Photography - Amazing Pictures!

  I am so grateful to have met Erica and Miguel!  With less than 2 months to go, my now husband and I were looking for a photographer to capture our special day.  We are so glad that Erica was available! Due to the pandemic we had to scale down our wedding to a backyard celebration. I was a bit concerned about how the lighting and shadows from our fence and pergola would affect the pictures on the day, but Erica and Miguel assured me that they would work through it. On the day of the wedding, Erica and Miguel were super detailed and thorough, making sure they captured all the photos we had asked for. Being a team of two really helped because they were able to work through the tricky lighting to capture some really amazing pictures! They were so nice, easy going, and great to work with - a truly dynamic duo. Our pictures were not only beautiful, but they were able to capture the warmth, love and happiness of the day. Every time I look at my pictures, I feel as though I am reliving our special day! 
  Erica and Miguel, we are so lucky to have worked with you and we are so incredibly grateful that you were there to capture our wedding. Thank you for our beautiful pictures that we will cherish forever!

  The most magical photos

  Erica is amazing and captures intimate, honest moments. She makes couples feels comfortable and it shows in her pictures! If you like light, in the moment pictures she is your girl! Plus, Miguel is great too :)

  Amazing Photography and Experience!

  Erica and Miguel (her husband and second shooter) are the best photographers we could have asked for to document our wedding and engagement shoot! For the engagement shoot, we felt very comfortable and relaxed throughout the shoot since Erica would provide prompts and made conversations during the shoot that it just felt like a day out with friends. We had our husky/shiba pup with us and did not feel rushed or frazzled since they are dog lovers!
  
  Erica was also very accommodating and understanding during the chaos of rescheduling due to covid. A few days before the original date of our wedding, the Bay Area went into lockdown and we were forced to reschedule our wedding. We scrambled that day and Erica was very responsive and flexible in aiding us to make the reschedule happen within the day. Even as we had to reschedule a second time (both day and location) due to covid restrictions and venue availability, Erica was accommodating, supportive, and flexible throughout our constant communications and last minute changes. She even went to scout out the new venue quickly so as to help us draft a realistic wedding day photo timeline.
  
  On the day of the wedding, Erica and Miguel made sure we were on time and still got all the pictures we wanted. They definitely felt like a part of our bridal party. In addition to photos throughout the wedding day, Erica was fluffing dresses/grabbing bouquets while Miguel was removing poop (from the park location we took first look photos at) to make sure we have the best photos and experience. As our wedding was outdoors, they also had extra no-flash lighting set up to help with the nighttime photos. All in all, Erica and Miguel are super personable, fun, and enjoyable to be with - we consider them as friends and would definitely use them again for any future professional photography needs. Highly recommend Erica!!

  Amazing to work with, beautiful photos

  We were so lucky to hire Erica (and Miguel) to be our wedding photographers. We originally booked with them back in 2019 for our Sept. 2020 wedding and had to reschedule due to COVID but Erica was amazing and so understanding throughout the whole process and we were able to move our booking to be for our new date in 2021 and we had them come photograph our small ceremony in 2020 as well. They are such a pleasure to work with from start to finish, so friendly and easy to talk with, and can make anyone feel at ease in front of the camera, even my husband who doesn't like having his picture taken. All of our pictures from engagement shoot, to small ceremony, to main event this year have turned out beautifully! I would recommend Erica to anyone looking for a photographer, I look forward to having more life events captured by her going forward!

  Erica and Miguel were absolutely amazing! When you see their work it speaks for itself, but the experience they provide is what made it wonderful! My husband and I got married on May 30th, 2020. I was overwhelmed with everything going on about the pandemic and rescheduling dates (for who knows when) that I thought for a moment that my husband and I were not going to be able to have our special day captured. However, Erica made sure that if she could be there for us she would (safely following regulations of course). Although only my immediate family was present, my wedding was perfect!  The pictures Erica and Miguel captured will be a memory we will forever be able to look back to. I look forward to having Erica and Miguel capture our vow renewal ceremony and reception, when all our loved ones will be able to be present and I can't wait to have those amazing pictures taken!   beyond stunning photos

  First off, Erica and Miguel are wonderful to work with. They make it easy and painless for individuals with zero "on screen" experience. We have done our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos with them and everything I've seen/received is out of this world. I cannot give them enough praise for their magic. My husband is a chronic blinker (bless him) and they were able to get wonderfully beautiful pictures throughout the times we've worked with them. I can't scream from the roof tops loud enough on how gorgeous their work is and how genuine they are to work with.

  Absolutely out of the ballpark

  March 8, 2020 was an overcast and breezy day in San Francisco, but nothing was going to damper our marital spirits, particularly with Erica and Miguel putting in 110% for over 12 hours. When you talk about wedding vendors going above and beyond, Erica Vernis (and her husband Miguel) are the exemplars. They blended perfectly into our wedding party and kept us happy and in good spirits the entire day. And, after only having done one professional shoot before this, they made sure we were comfortable with the process, and honestly, they made the process of these pictures so seamless and fun. We never once felt like we were out of place or not looked after in their hands. Furthermore, they split themselves up and went to multiple venues throughout the day to make sure every part of our wedding was covered, particularly when my bride and I were in separate places getting ready. We cannot recommend Erica enough and would love to work with them again the future. Can we also rave about the quality of the pictures?   Picture perfect!

  Erica and Miguel are amazing photographers who also happen to be really down-to-earth awesome people! We did our engagement and wedding pictures with them and could not have been more pleased! Erica was prompt with her responses via email (always appreciated when you’re planning a wedding) and was extremely helpful with figuring out logistics, such as suggesting a location and attire for the engagement shoot and providing us with a sample timeline for the wedding. During the engagement shoot, she showed us poses that we’d do on the big day so that we’d feel more comfortable which ended up being so helpful! Erica had never been to our venue before, so she came to see it during our rehearsal so that we could walk through the logistics together. After the wedding, so many of our guests commented on how Erica and Miguel made everyone feel so comfortable the entire night. We just received our wedding pictures (on the exact day she’d promised she’d send them) and we can’t stop looking at them!!! They are simply beautiful. Somehow they caught every special moment, big and small.   Erica and Miguel were so amazing to work with!!! They made us feel comfortable, as we had let them know this was our first professional shoot. They walked us through some poses and truly captured some amazing photos, as my now husband whispered jokes into my ear. (Great tip) Our guests and bridal party also mentioned how comfortable they felt. Erica and Miguel are very relatable and their love for each other passes through to each person they meet on our wedding day. Can’t wait to work with them again and treat them to lunch one day.

  Absolutely Incredible, You Will Be Blown Away

  We LOVED getting to work with Erica! We were flying in from Alabama for vacation and looked all over for a photographer. Not only does she have so much talent but she is also SO quick to respond and so sweet to work with. We loved our shoot with her too! Seriously, she was so kind, patient, and worked with us to bring our dream to life. Oh, and did we mention the photos are INCREDIBLE?! We're so thankful we chose her to be our photographer and would choose her again and again! Do yourself a huge favor and hire her for your wedding or session!

  She's the BEST!

  Erica photographed our wedding at the San Francisco City Hall and all of the photos were absolutely beautiful! She directed us in a way that didn't make us feel awkward or uncomfortable. All the pictures turned out very natural and the lighting was stunning. Erica is very down to earth, easy- going and an absolute pleasure to work with!
