Eric was one of the first vendors I booked for my April 2026 wedding at The State Room. His photos online were beautiful! But, what sold me was the first time we spoke on the phone, we talked for 45 minutes and I didn't even realize how much time had gone by! Eric was so easy to work with, put my mind at ease, and all of my friends and family loved having him around on my wedding day! He answered the many, many questions I had during planning in a timely manner, and even helped me choose other vendors I used for my wedding.
On the day of the wedding, Eric and his team were on time, brought such a great vibe, and made sure to get all of the photos that I wanted. He kept us on time throughout the day without making anyone feel rushed. He also was happy to do photos with me and my husband and every person who attended our wedding during the receiving line at The State Room, and the photos came out great!
After the wedding, Eric sent over some highlights of the day pretty quickly (we were on our honeymoon!) and delivered the rest of our photos very shortly after. There was no shortage of photos of the night! After seeing the photos, there were a few that ended up in black and white that I wanted in color, and Eric uploaded them very quickly.
If you are looking for a sign of who to book, look no further. If I could do my whole wedding over again, Eric would still be there!!!

Eric is a must have for your wedding!
From the initial booking to receiving our beautiful collections, Eric exceeded our expectations every step of the way. My husband and I had no idea how to pose for photos and Eric was there to coach us and somehow made us look like naturals, capturing the most beautiful photos. Leading up to the wedding we ironed out timeline for the day and he ensured I got all the shots that were most important to me and catered to my crazy blended family! On the day of our wedding, Eric and his additional photographer were flexible and receptive to what my husband and I wanted. They captured everything so beautifully, we will forever cherish these photos. As a couple who didn’t hire a videographer, Eric was still able to capture the night perfectly and helped make it one we will always remember. Cannot recommend Eric enough! -

Amazing & Responsive
As a wedding coordinator and working with Eric in the past- booking with him was an easy choice. I saw first hand as a professional how he interacts with his clients and captures the shots.
After booking, we decided to do last minute engagement photos for a statement piece welcome sign and Eric was so accommodating. He got two uncomfortable people a bit more comfortable in front of the camera.
Through out the initial booking till the wedding day Eric always made himself available for any questions or concerns I had. This continued into the wedding day and I couldn’t be more thankful. Our second shooter Zoe was also fantastic to work with. All of our bridal party had a great time working with them both which made the day more enjoyable.
We struggled with some rain in the wedding day and I genuinely wondered if we would have those wow shots, and when we received our gallery I was blown away! Eric and Zoe captured so many beautiful details and moments between us and our friends and family. You wouldn't even of known it rained!
I cannot thank Eric enough for his attention to detail, calm demeanor and responsiveness. If you are looking for a photographer that is going to deliver you beautiful photos and be enjoyable To work with, Eric Jon Photography is the way to go!

The BEST wedding photographer
We cannot say enough good things about Eric and his team. From the beginning with consultation calls Eric was thorough, polite, knowledgeable and patient. With both our engagement shoot and the wedding Eric scouted the locations in the week of to assure he knew the best spots figure out lighting and then communicated with us to make an informed decision for the best photos based on his expertise.
The most impressive thing though was the incredibly calm and fun energy that he brought. I still can’t get over how gracefully he handled anything thrown his way in the midst of chaos on the wedding day without a flinch. He is able to combat the high emotions from everyone with his patience and kindness.
And he takes such gorgeous photos!! Plus he’s timely, the best vendor decision I made was booking Eric as our photographer. -

Eric was the perfect photographer. He and his second seamlessly melded into our wedding day. Incredibly affable and jovial, he brought the lighthearted vibe that felt really important on such an important and incredible day. Eric had previously done one of my best friends wedding and then my sisters wedding. So once I got engaged Eric was my first call. I knew him and knew his work. Eric is so professional but also easy-going so it feels like you're talking to a friend when you're planning huge decisions, he makes it easy. His photo packages include everything you could want and I was very happy with the quality of everything. The photos were stunning and i got a highlight sneak peek folder almost immediately.
You truly cannot go wrong with choosing Eric I recommend him to everyone. Was very fun to work with and super chill, which is something you need on a hectic important day. If you want beautiful thoughtful photos, you know who to call. -

Professional, Positive Energy, and Beautiful Photos
My partner and I are both artistic people so we were definitely picky when it comes to photographers. Working with Eric and his assistant made the day feel like a breeze. As a type A person it was a relief to have people with such kind, positive, and calm energy directing the photos. Eric went above and beyond setting up shots for us and hyping me up to give me the confidence I needed to pose for photos all day. From our first meeting with Eric, we knew we had to have him as our wedding photographer. When we arrived at his studio for our initial meeting, he was kind, welcoming, and showed great interest in talking with us and figuring out our particular wedding vision. The stunning wedding galleries Eric showed us and his genuine interest in what we wanted out of his services had us booking him shortly after we left his studio that day.
My husband and I got married at The Adelphi Hotel on 7/7/2023. Eric and his assistant photographer showed up ready to work! Eric worked hard to move furniture around (indoor and outdoor on a very hot summer day!) to help stage everything from the perfect first look to very large extended family photos. Not having a day of coordinator, there were times I found myself in need of someone to fluff my dress or fix my veil and Eric stepped in everytime, without being asked to do so. The next day, my mother even commented on how Eric was one of the hardest working vendors at our wedding.
A few days after our wedding, Eric had a preview gallery up for us to look at and I was blown away. Our family and friends were raving, as were we, about how stunning the photos were. As soon as they saw the gallery, our friends getting married next summer immediately asked for Eric’s information to contact him about their wedding. I did not have a shot list but Eric perfectly captured all the special moments from our day. My favorite part of viewing the gallery for the first time was seeing all the candid moments from throughout the day that Eric captured. There was a picture of me, in quite the crowd, hugging my grandparents right after the ceremony. I didn’t even know Eric was nearby and had snapped that photo until I saw it in the gallery and was so happy to have that moment captured. Eric really has an eye for capturing the small but extra special moments. My husband and I were able to just enjoy the night with full trust that Eric would capture all of these special moments- and he did!
I cannot recommend Eric enough. He is a must book for all your engagement and wedding photography needs!

Eric was our photographer for our wedding on 11/12/2022 and all I can say is WOW! He captured the most beautiful details on our day and made the whole day not stressful at all! We received our whole completed gallery within 3 months from our wedding date and the pictures are simply beautiful. Eric is a very talented photographer and I am so happy that he was there to share our special day with us! His talent for photography is remarkable and I would recommend him to future brides. Eric made our wedding and engagement experience absolutely incredible! From the start, he was extremely easy to work with - we had worked with him for almost two years before our wedding that included engagement shoots too. Eric was extremely personable and responsive during the whole process. My husband is really not found of getting his picture taken but from the start Eric made us both feel comfortable and natural in photos. We originally booked him for an engagement session but knew immediately after working with him that he had to have him shoot our wedding day no matter what!! We worked together very closely leading up to the wedding to make sure every detail was discussed and accounted for, and he truly made sure that every single little question was answered no matter what so I knew we were going to be in good hands during the craziness of wedding day. On the day itself, Eric was a blast to work with along with his second shooter on the day, Spencer. We were laughing the whole time and just had a blast. Eric and Spencer not only took amazing portraits but also truly captured every single emotion from our wedding day. Eric pays close attention to detail and was so willing to answer all of my questions and requests even after we received our wedding album. Lastly, our wedding album is absolutely INCREDIBLE and I’m so excited to see our printed album and pictures. I cannot recommend Eric enough he truly is the best around!!! -

Rhiannon Sent on 09/30/2022February 25, 2022 Winter Wonderland Wedding with Eric
Eric captured our February wedding, as well as our engagement photos, and went above and beyond for each event. The day of our engagement photos, it was chilly and windy, and Eric still took us around Albany to as many locations as possible. When my then-Fiancé forgot a belt, Eric even lent his belt so that even the smallest detail was accounted for!
On our big day, we got the snow we were hoping for! Despite being cold and wet, Eric got the most amazing shots for us. Eric was perfect in working with all of our vendors and had worked with most of our vendors before. Eric was willing to go into the snow and stay out in the cold to get golden hour shots and get as many beautiful snowy, winter wonderland shots as possible.
Choosing Eric as our photographer was easily one of the best decisions we made! Eric is professional, easy to be around, and immediately made us comfortable working with him. Thank you, Eric, for being such an amazing photographer and amazing person to work with. We will always appreciate you, your work, and your artistry. We have the most beautiful photos of our big day thanks to you! -

The Best There Is!
From the minute we contacted Eric to inquire about his photography, we knew we had found someone special. He was personable, laid back, and we didn't feel the least bit pressured by him. That being said, we knew we didn't want to lose the opportunity to have him photograph our engagement photos and our wedding.
He was incredibly flexible right from the start. The evening we had planned to do our engagement photos ended up being a complete washout. Eric happily offered to do them the following morning at sunrise, and we are so happy we waited! They turned out beautifully! He made sure we felt comfortable and were having fun the entire time.
As for our wedding- he blew us away once again. He captured every moment of our day spectacularly. Our guests and all of our other vendors had nothing but incredible things to say about him throughout the day as well.
Eric will be the best vendor you will book on your wedding day! -

Best wedding photographer!
Eric made our wedding photo dreams come true. When it came to vendors, a wedding photographer that I liked and trusted was my most import factor when planning our wedding. I was drawn to Eric's photos right away and once meeting him knew that he would be the perfect fit (it also helped that he came recommended from multiple trusted sources). He was so helpful and responsive along the way (he even helped me find my hair/makeup artist!). On the day of my wedding, I felt relaxed and comfortable with him and his team but was also thankful that he gave us instruction on how to look our best! We gave Eric very little direction on what we wanted and our photos came out exactly how we dreamed they would. I have a new favorite every time I look at our gallery. To quote my very picky bridesmaid "now this is what a wedding photographer should be!" -

Eric was by far the best vendor we booked for our wedding. Eric is kind and professional and very personable. The quality of his work is jaw-dropping. Uh-maze-ing!
From the very beginning and initial conversation with Eric, we knew he was our photographer! He is super responsive, very friendly and down to earth, and easy to get along with. Our first meeting felt like we were hanging out with a friend. He's very laid back and not stuffy like the other photographers we had met with. He is exceptionally professional, and you can tell he absolutely loves what he does. When doing the photos, he makes it feel laid back and easy. Neither my husband or I had ever done professional photos, so we were a bit nervous and feeling awkward. Eric takes all of that away and makes things happen naturally and before you know it, you've already taken multiple photos! With the pandemic, we were nervous that we wouldn't be able to have Eric for our mostly thrown together wedding this year, and he was more than understanding and during the wedding and photos after, he couldn't have been better! He was so friendly with guests and stayed as long as was needed. Could not have picked a better guy to work with and his photos speak for themselves! Simply stunning. Thank you so much, Eric!! -

Best part of our wedding!
Eric was absolutely amazing! From our engagement photos to the days leading up to the wedding he was so accommodating and easy to work with. Planning a wedding during Covid was stressful and having Eric as our photographer made us look forward to our wedding day, even if it wasn't what we originally planned. His photos came out absolutely stunning and all of our wedding guests couldn't stop talking about how great Eric and his team were at the wedding. He did an unbelievable job at finding the perfect spots for all of our photos even with a last minute change of venue. Eric did a fantastic job for our wedding. Initially, we weren’t sure if we needed or wanted a photographer at our wedding. We are so happy we changed our minds. From the initial conversation, it was clear that Eric understood our vision and would be able to help memorialize our special day. Leading up to the day, Eric was organized and easy to work with. On the day of, he was able to capture special moments like the ceremony unobtrusively. During the reception, he helped ensure we were able to take pictures with all of our guests. We’re generally not a couple that are a fan of pictures, but he made us feel comfortable.
We recently received our photo album and its absolutely beautiful. Eric did an amazing job!

Eric was absolutely incredible to work with during our wedding experience from our engagement shoot, to a boudoir shoot, to our amazing wedding day with him and his assistant. Eric was so awesome with our bridal party, listened to everything we asked for and just did a wonderful job. I found Eric by chance, through a Facebook friend's engagement photos that she had posted. My husband and I were in the middle of looking for a wedding photographer when I stumbled upon Eric's photos and I knew right then that I wanted him to be our photographer - his work was absolutely breathtaking. Amazing-unreal

Professional, relaxed and fun!
2 years before I would even become engaged I knew I would be contacting Eric for my someday wedding! Working with him was ten-fold the pleasure I knew it would be. Aside from being extremely professional and super easy to have continuous communication with (thank god)
Eric makes you comfortable and knows how to make the process really natural and fun.
(We’ve all been part of a photo of forced smiles, tilted heads and stiff shoulders.. it isn’t fun.)
Our time with Eric started off with him saying “Hey.. how do you feel about venturing off into a snow storm for engagement photos?”
Ummmmm YES!!?

And once my wedding day was upon me.. head full of curlers and as frantic as a bride should be..
In walks Eric with a huge smile on his face.
Even when time was cutting a bit too close for comfort, he always made sure to keep me relaxed and moving.
In short.. Eric made the dream work!
He heard my request to keep things as casual,
I’ve got plenty of pictures of my guests belly laughing and dancing their booties off.
I’ve got amazing end of the day shots next to a corn field with my new hubby and heels kicked off.
And of course, we’ve gained a friend out of it too!

Book him!!
My husband and I highly recommend Eric Jon Photography to anyone looking for a talented, down to earth, creative, reliable and responsive photographer! The first time we sat down with Eric Jon we knew he was who we wanted to shoot our wedding. He made us comfortable right away and too any awkwardness out of the situation. His work is amazing and speaks for itself. We didn't want any over-edited photography, we just wanted clean, beautiful, quality photos- which is exactly what he has given us thus far! We had our engagement photos up in Lake George, at sunrise... it was beautiful! He made us feel so comfortable and therefor ended up getting the best photos. Our wedding day would not have been the same without him- he was so happy and fun and kind to not only me but to our family and friends, he was so patient, rolled with the punches, was funny, ensured us he was getting great photos (and he was), he let me know when it was time to switch locations or walk down the aisle or cut the cake, he helped the MOH with microphone problems and gave her water when she was freaking out... I could go on and on. He is such an amazing person and his photos are more than I could have hoped for! Thank you Eric!!! -

Being in the wedding industry 15 years myself I highly recommend Eric for any event, especially weddings.
Eric is nothing short of amazing from start to finish. I’ve thought long and hard on just what to write for expressing our experience with Eric. Starting from our first meeting I was instantly comfortable. We sat down and he went through the list of typical questions, date, time, location what we expected ect. The day of our reception Eric somehow made this awkward in front of a camera woman feel in my element and captured the most amazing moments, most which I had no idea of until we picked up our prints. Our reception was causal and we urged Eric to eat, get a drink and enjoy himself but he never once broke professionalism and stayed longer than we expected. He truly has an eye for the perfect photo and his passion shows in his work. We chose the personalized photo box of prints with usb. Since this is his specialty not mine I told him to choose which box and prints he thought were best. Blown away is an understatement. The smooth black box with our name and date sits in our family room entry table. It’s beautiful, timeless and a statement piece in our home. The clear and black engraved glass usb is heavy. I’ve never seen(or thought I’d say) a usb was so beautiful. I would highly recommend Eric. His professionalism, ability to make people feel comfortable, talent and price point can not be beat. -

From our initial meeting to the big day Eric was professional and extremely personable! He really knows what he is doing. Eric captured all the major moments along with the small details. He made us feel so comfortable! I had zero stress when it came to the pictures. At one point during bridal party pictures, He turned his camera around to show my sister a sneak peak and she nearly cried tears of Joy! When it came to the reception he was out of sight yet always there!! He was part of the party, getting many candid shots! I can't wait to see all the pictures I have no doubt they will be nothing short of perfect! Thank You Eric!!! -

He prepared for the sunset and the places for the best shots. And made our movements and poses look so natural. And our guests loved him. He's sweet and personable. And we can't wait for opportunities for more photo shoots together. Also must menation that he uses very high quality archival products. So all prints and books are beautifully prepared and will last a lifetime.

Jackie Sent on 10/03/2017Eric was phenomenal. He was very professional and accommodating. When we first met him, we knew it would be a good fit! Engagement photos were included in our package and we were both a little concerned that they would be awkward, especially since my husband and I are typically quieter people, but Eric made it so easy. He was very good at giving us direction and making things relaxed - and spent ample time with us! He also traveled to us to get our photos done in places that meant a lot to us (and let us include our dog!).
While planning our wedding, he was very good at communicating with us via text and email. When we were not sure on who to hire as some of our other vendors, he was great at providing us suggestions of people that he felt would be good for us - and they were!
On our wedding day, Eric was great. He was there for it all but was non-invasive so it was awesome. He also is a great photographer who knows what makes for good photos and how to get great lighting so that was amazing as well. Our photos are beautiful! -

Couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. From the first time we met, to engagement photos, to wedding photos, Eric has been so professional yet easy going and stuck with us despite all of the craziness of this year. He made sure we had a great time, never felt rushed, got all of the photos we envisioned and truly captured our wedding in the most perfect way. Stunning Pictures!
Eric was fantastic! We met many photographers and none made us feel as comfortable as Eric Jon photography. He truly does try to get to know you and is very personable. We did our engagement shoot and our wedding day with him. The pictures we received are stunning from the family/ wedding party portraits to the small details like my flowers. Eric has an eye for lighting and backdrops that I wasn’t even aware of. At the time the places he had us take the portraits in did not seem like the best place to me but the backdrops he captured were amazing. Some of my favorite moments he captured were ones I wasn’t even aware he was taking. His team was very professional and even my guests said his assistants were everywhere. They got so many fun candids that captured moments we had missed due to everything happening so fast. I highly recommend Eric and his team they gave us lasting memories we will cherish. -
