Hiring Eric as our wedding DJ was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. We first saw him perform on New Year’s Eve 2023 at the Goodfoot, and he instantly stood out. The energy he brought to the room was unreal, and we remember saying that if we ever got married, we would want someone exactly like him running the music. When we later found out he did weddings, it felt like perfect timing.
From start to finish, Eric was professional, easy to work with, and incredibly reasonably priced for the level of experience and talent he brings. He has an amazing instinct for reading the crowd and knowing exactly what to play to keep the energy high. Our dance floor was full all night long, and the vibe never faded for a second. It truly felt like one big celebration from beginning to end.
Months later, people still tell us how fun our wedding was and how great the music was. Eric didn’t just provide a soundtrack for the night, he helped create an atmosphere we will always remember. Everything was perfect!
DJ Aquaman came to us as a recommendation from our wedding planner. Working with Eric on our wedding music vibes was one of our favorite parts of wedding planning! Eric was our emcee for our entire day from ceremony to reception so there was a lot to think about when it came to how the day flowed. Eric gave us direction as well as pro tips in a pre-event meeting that helped us focus on all the stages of the wedding. In the end, our wedding went super smooth, the audio was perfect throughout and he got folks sweating on the dance floor in the 90 degree heat! We couldn't be happier! -

Eric helped make our wedding night better than we could have imagined! We are not big dancers so we were nervous about creating the right vibe for everyone to have a great night. Eric is so easy to work with and it was super helpful to meet with him a couple of weeks beforehand. He played off our tastes effortlessly but also read the room perfectly. Our guest who always said “oh I don’t dance” never left the dance floor all night (including us). Countless guests have told us how much fun they had dancing. We had the most epic ending to the night with an unexpected song we weren’t sure would work, but because the dance floor was vibing so well it worked out flawlessly. It made for an amazing memory we will talk bout forever! Hire DJ Aquaman! -

Working with Eric was one of the easiest and best decisions we could have made for our wedding. It was really important to us to have a full dance floor and we got exactly that! Eric really took the time to get to get to know us before the big day and did an outstanding job reading the room in the moment. We got so many compliments on his DJ skills, not to mention the vinyl turntables. 10/10 experience all around. -

He helped us build our music lists, and made suggestion that really made us think of songs from childhood that we wouldn't have included otherwise! Eric was our wedding DJ and the experience was awesome. He checked in with us throughout the night to confirm whether we still wanted to go along with the plan or if we wanted to mix things up last minute. I loved how we got to sit down with him a couple of weeks before the big day to work out the kinks and get to know each other's vibe. All of our guests danced the night away all thanks to Eric. 10/10 would recommend to anybody on their big day -

Our dream wedding DJ!
Eric absolutely crushed it as the DJ for our wedding. My husband and I really wanted to have vinyl at our wedding, so when we found Eric (and stopped by the Goodfoot for an epic Friday night set) we knew it would be the perfect fit. Eric is super intuitive and can read a crowd like no other, so we had full faith in his ability to get people on (and stay on) the dance floor - and he did NOT disappoint. Truly everyone at our wedding danced the night away, and many commented on how it was the best dance floor they’d experienced. He brought his style and expertise, but also kept our thoughts/requests at the forefront. Outside of that, his setup is so dialed in and professional, so we had a seamless and crystal clear sounding outdoor ceremony. Highly recommend! -

We couldn’t have better things to say about Eric and are so glad he DJ’d our wedding! He and his assistant, Jen, were so helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. Leading up to the day, they made sure every detail was thought of to help the wedding day go as smoothly as possible. We met up with him beforehand to talk through the music and he was incredibly easy to work with. He reflected our tastes and requests beautifully, and he read the crowd to ensure everyone got up a danced. 100% recommend Eric!! -

DJ Aquaman was incredible. Tired of hearing Pitbull and Ke$ha and all the meh wedding music? We were too so we turned to Eric who listened to us, crafted excellent cocktail + reception music, and read the vibe extremely well. He has great equipment that filled the whole room, fun lights, and even a wind-resistant mic which was crucial during the windy ceremony. Cannot say enough nice things about Eric and his team. -

DJ Aquaman 100% took our wedding to the next level. The day would have not been as effortless, polished and FUN without his expertise behind the spin table. Eric worked with us to understand our hopes for the day and then perfectly delivered every moment - from our walk down the aisle, to toasts, to the late night grooves. Our friends are still raving about our wedding dance party.
If you haven’t experienced DJ Aquaman yet, I highly recommend a Friday night visit to the Good Foot! His fínese and impecable jams are off the charts!! -

We were huge fans of Eric from Soul Stew, and knew as soon as we got engaged that we wanted him for our DJ. His booking manager (Jen) was incredibly responsive and helpful in the months leading up to our wedding, and Eric met with us personally before the big day to make sure all the details were in order. He does an incredible job of reading the room and keeping the party going - everyone was on the dance floor all night to a fantastically curated blend of music. We can't recommend Eric highly enough! -

Dance All Night to this DJ
Eric/DJ Aquaman was fantastic for our wedding! One of the most important elements to any fun party is the music and Eric nailed it for our wedding. Many guests commented that they LOVED the music and our dance party. We had multiple generations on the dance floor all night thanks to the great vibes and tunes. Eric takes time and care in understanding your tastes and preferences so he can create a customized musical experience to your taste. We are very grateful to him for helping us create a magical wedding experience for all. -

Eric did out backyard COVID wedding and truly made it a night to remember. Prior to the event he sat down with us to get to know us as a couple, our preferences, and asked about songs that were special to us and our loved ones. The night of the event he took our "must play songs" but built off of them. such a fun variety of music that got guests of all ages moving. He truly had the whole wedding out on the dance floor. I still have guests talk to me about the most fun wedding dance party they've even been part of. Highly recommend having Eric, DJ Aquaman, as part of your wedding day or any party! -

Eric is an absolute professional in getting the dance floor rugs cut. One of the great things about the experience was the pre-wedding check-ins: making sure he understands what type of music you want played, but also allows for you to let him run the show. This is great for people either want to stick to a certain theme, or are fluid to letting him curate the selection. He has all the ceremony/reception/speeches/first dances portion down and necessary equipment to make it run smoothly. Then comes the party and boy does he bring it! We only had a few song requests and general genres we wanted played and Eric delivered in spades. All our friends were dancing until the venue lights came on. I would highly recommend booking Eric for your party! -

The BEST dance party!
You must get DJ Aquaman for your wedding! We had previously attended a wedding where Eric was DJing and it was one of the best dance parties we had been to. We just knew we had to have DJ Aquaman for our own wedding! Leading up to our wedding, we worked with Eric's assistance, Jen, to help coordinate timelines and payment. She was excellent with communication and organization and worked with our venue to make sure everything was set. We also met with Eric before the wedding to get to know him, go over music preferences, and hammer out a timeline for the wedding day. We used DJ Aquaman for both our ceremony and reception music. He also helped us mic up our officiants at the ceremony and our toast givers at the reception. He is extremely friendly and down to earth and asked a lot of probing questions to make sure our day would go smoothly and that we would have a blast. Eric showed up at the venue many hours in advance of our ceremony to get everything set up - he had to set up in two separate locations for the ceremony and reception. He was very professional and if there were any logistical issues, he certainly did not bother us with them to ensure our day remained stress free. Eric spins real records and knows how to get the dance party going! We had a BLAST dancing the night away at our wedding and rarely left the dance floor all night. Our friends and family loved DJ Aquaman, too. We are so glad that Eric was our wedding DJ and would absolutely recommend him!Eric Hedford (DJ Aquaman)'s reply:

One of the many highlights of our wedding was DJ Aquaman spinning real records that got our dance floor MOVIN. You can tell he loves what he does, he is dancing and vibing to the music right a long with everyone else. It is funny how many friends have mentioned how epic the DJ was. They loved him. Eric is also a joy to work with before the wedding, he knows so much about music that we were able to trust his music choice and not have to worry about curating our own playlist. Couldn't recommend him enough. -

Eric was the most incredible DJ we could have asked for. He was so sweet and smart, he met us for coffee a few weeks before our wedding and talked through the entire ceremony with us. The sound during the ceremony was excellent and everyone could hear great even in the back of the room. Once on the dance floor, he killed it again. Every single song was a hit and the party could have gone on for hours longer. We highly recommend Eric. -

Our wedding coordinator initially recommended DJ Aquaman as a fan favorite for weddings. After reading a few reviews we were intrigued. My wife truly loves music and wanted a like-minded DJ who could create a unique and memorable experience. We met DJ Aquaman for coffee and were impressed by his knowledge and his true passion for music. He skillfully integrated songs and styles that we love with his own ideas and generated a fun and unique vibe for our outdoor venue. During the wedding, his ability to assess and work the crowd was fantastic. Even with a small to medium crowd in a forested venue, he engaged our audience and totally rocked it. After the wedding, many of our friends and family went out of their way to tell us how great the DJ experience and dance party was, and we agree! DJ Aquaman truly surpassed expectations. For one of our first dates, my husband and I went to Eric's Soul Stew night at The Good Foot. When we found out that he DJed weddings, we were beyond thrilled and knew immediately we wanted to hire him. Eric was our dream DJ – calm, fun and professional from the ceremony preludes to the closing song of the night (Bill Withers' "Lean on Me"). He beautifully captured important songs to us and our families while blending in a variety of party crowd pleasers, keeping the dance floor hopping from start to finish with guests of all ages. The cherry on top was seeing everyone decked out in glow sticks and light-up shoes as they danced the night away. There was even a visit from our friend T-Shreds, the inflatable T-Rex! We've already had multiple guests inquire about our wedding DJ and are happy to give Eric a glowing review. (I will add photos to this review once we receive them from our photographer). -
Blake Sent on 01/12/2018My wife and I are big music nerds, so picking a DJ was very difficult. Eric couldn't have been a better fit for our special day! Every song he played was a winner, and he read the room perfectly. He had everyone ages 1 to 96 (with some assistance) on the dance floor with some classics to kick things off. Later on he was playing newer jams like Robyn to the glee of all those left on the dancefloor! He was also very accommodating and professional during our windy outdoor ceremony where we had live music performers. He mic'd them up, and had the mix at the perfect level. We couldn't recommend Eric enough!

We were thrilled to learn that not only does he DJ weddings, but he could also provide sound for our outdoor ceremony (Bridal Veil Lakes). Eric threw an incredible dance party and the music was one of the highlights of our wedding! We received so many comments about how great the DJ was and people couldn't stop dancing (young and old). He met with us well in advance to get a sense of what music we wanted and was happy to tailor the playlist to our taste. In the end, we let him have a lot of creative freedom with the music and it was perfect. We appreciated that he was flexible when we got behind in our timeline and was happy to go with the flow. I can't recommend Eric enough!
