As a whole, our wedding-planning experience was both exhilarating and super overwhelming. We wanted every detail to be perfect, and one aspect that was really important to us was capturing those cherished moments on film. After much digging around, we came across Epic Weddings, a team of professional and personable destination wedding videographers in Jamaica. Vinton exceeded our expectations and left us with stunning memories that we will treasure forever.
From the moment we contacted Epic Weddings, their professionalism shone through. Their prompt and detailed communication put us at ease, and we knew we were in capable hands. This was especially important for us as we live in Canada and wanted to be able to film our destination wedding in Jamaica. Vinton understood the significance of our special day and was committed to capturing our love story in the most authentic and beautiful way possible.
Vinton impressed us from the very first meeting, where he showed up on our video call on time, big smile on his face and with questions prepared in order to get to know us better. He took us through his whole process and what to expect on our wedding day, and what to expect afterwards. He explained to us in great detail his available packages and worked with us to find something that was suitable for our needs. He was professional, transparent, collaborative, positive and excited.
On the day of our wedding, Vinton and his assistant arrived early, ready to capture the essence of the location and the magic that was about to unfold. With their state-of-the-art equipment, they were able to capture beautiful drone shots of the resort. Their friendly and warm demeanor immediately made us feel comfortable, allowing us to relax and be ourselves in front of the camera. They effortlessly blended into the background, capturing candid moments and emotions without ever being intrusive. They worked seamlessly with the photographer we had hired and communicated very well with them to make sure they got the shots they needed without intruding on what the photographer was trying to capture.
Being of Caribbean descent, Vinton was very relatable to me and understood culturally what was important to us.
Their attention to detail was impeccable, capturing not only the big moments but also the subtle nuances that made our day unique. What truly set these videographers apart was their ability to tell our story. They took the time to get to know us as a couple, understanding our personalities, and incorporating those elements into the final product. The resulting wedding video was a true reflection of who we are, filled with love, joy, and laughter.
Not only did they capture the events of the day, but they also managed to encapsulate the ambiance and beauty of Jamaica. The breathtaking landscapes, the vibrant colors, and the rich cultural heritage were all seamlessly woven into the video, transporting us back to that magical day every time we watch it.
The post-production process was a collaborative and enjoyable experience. The videographers listened to our preferences and incorporated our feedback while adding their artistic touch. The final edit surpassed our expectations, perfectly synchronized with the music we had chosen, and evoking the same emotions we felt on our wedding day. Vinton also went the extra mile and provided some behind-the-scenes footage which was amazing in re-watching those special moments of the day.

As a wedding planner I’m always on the look out for dynamic, professional and collaborative wedding vendors to work with on every wedding I do. Planning a destination wedding in Jamaica from Toronto is never an easy task but it’s one I welcome always.
It was important for my couple to capture the day as it unfolded with close attention to special moments and details. We hired Vinton from Epic Weddings and he delivered above and beyond for my couple. He was available to answer all of our questions, discuss his way of working and the cinematography package that would best suit our needs and provide suggestions to ensure things ran smoothly on his end.
When we watched the wedding video it was everything I imagined and more. From the true essence of our beautiful couple, the smiles, the laughter, the details in the suit, wedding dress, the embraces with family and most of all the “epic” way he and his team captured the wedding reception! Such a fun time was had and watching the video took me back to that amazing day.
As a wedding planner I work with a LOT of wedding vendors and I would highly recommend Vinton and his team. You will not be disappointed. It was one of the best decisions and investments for my couple.
I’ll be back in JA soon for more weddings and I’ll be reaching out to Vinton and his team for their services because for me my goal is to ensure my couples are happy!i

Totally recommend
I couldn’t be happier! Epic Weddings Jamaica, specifically Vinton, made our day super special. I was so nervous booking a videographer who I didn’t know and wouldn’t meet until the day of. I was worried about how we would connect on a personal level, how I would find him the day of, how he would know where to go, etc. I was STRESSED. I shouldn’t have been because the whole process was a breeze. He was always quick to respond through email, answered every question and eased all my concerns. The day of, I walked down to the beach and there he was! We connected instantly. He was so detailed in his work and overall we were just so happy to have him there with us. If you’re looking for a videographer, I totally recommend! -

We were extremely satisfied with Epic Weddings! Prior to booking, I wanted to have a Zoom call to make sure that we vibed well (since your videographers will be in your face all day) and Vinton was great! I liked him immediately and he made me feel comfortable and at ease. He was always personable, responsive and professional. The price for the services was very reasonable too. On the day of, they worked with our photographers to make everything seamless. They were friendly and easy to work with. We love both videos so much, but we absolutely ADORE our short video. They captured our spirits and personalities so well and the video has gotten far more views and comments on social media than we ever expected. (you can see it at https://fb.watch/gaJq6KkJzU/).
If I'm being completely honest, the one thing I didn't like is that there were drones flying overhead during our ceremony and they made a lot of noise, which was unexpected and somewhat distracting. I think I even commented on it during the ceremony. It may have been worth it, but I didn't see any drone shots of the wedding in either the short or long video, which was slightly disappointing. Despite that hiccup, they did such a great job overall, that I am *still* super in love with our videos.

We were so fortunate to have Epic available on our wedding day. They were very responsive in the planning of the event and very flexible with my schedule the day of the wedding. They captured the true essence of the wedding day from beginning to end and were careful to include all wedding guests and special moments in their video. They even had family members record special messages for my husband and I that they had voiced over at the end of wedding video, which was a nice surprise! In addition to providing the entire wedding video they also put together an amazing highlight video posted on their You Tube page which remains saved as a favorite and still viewed by us, even years later. Having Epic as part of my wedding day was one of the best decisions I made. -

From the pre-wedding consultation to the actual wedding day, the team from Epic Wedding worked with us harmoniously. This resulted in the wedding day being calm and comfortable for us, the couple.
