I haven't gotten my pictures yet, since I just got married 2 days ago, but I couldn't wait to brag about my photographer! We had Scottie and he was the sweetest person! He made it so easy to get comfortable, even though I am a very shy person! He had wonderful ideas and made for a wonderful experience! Thank you!

We had a terrible experience with Epic Vow. The weeks before the wedding Nicole rarely responded to emails confirming details and when she did respond, she'd confirm the wrong location/time. She contracted out our photographer and did not notify us about this until a few days before the wedding. He was great, but she still did all the editing of the images, which resulted in the creative intentions of the photographer being lost. We had a long check list of pictures we wanted taken the day of our wedding - many of these pictures were missing from the edited images (she only edited 170 pictures from 4 hours, 1000 total images were taken). We had to email back and forth for several weeks until we finally received a disk of the unedited images 3 1/2 months after our wedding. The disks arrived in an envelope addressed to the wrong address (despite the fact that we had confirmed the correct one three times) and my first name was incorrect! The disk with the edited images wasn't even from our wedding. We're extremely disappointed and we do not feel the time and effort was spent to ensure a quality product. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Also, in regards to the review below. We also had Scottie as a photographer but we was contracted through Epic Vow. Scottie actually works for Alleycat Photography and he is fantastic.

My experience was almost exactly that described by Allycia. She lost photos from a flash drive failure and still will not answer phone, email, facebook for me or my sister who also used her for her wedding. I was married almost a year ago and still do not have my photos. We were trying to buy the rights to the photos and could not find her. It shouldn't be this hard to give someone $700!! More than anything, I am really sad. I just want my pictures.

I feel very fortunate that nearly everything associated with my wedding went off without a hitch. My one and only regret is hiring Epic Vow. While Nicole appeared professional at first, working with her for our wedding photography ended up being a HUGE disappointment. She was not at all forthcoming with the status of our proofs after the ceremony - I had to practically beg for updates from her, and it wasn’t until a week before Christmas that we received our proofs from our Sept. 1st wedding. Needless to say, we missed out on a lot of opportunities to share our photos in thank you cards and holiday cards. When I expressed my disappointment at this, we were offered $50 toward the purchase of our copyrights, which were hiked up to $700 even though they were $500 at the time our agreement was signed. Not only were the prices changed on us, but the standard length of time for receiving proofs was also changed. In one of the three updates I managed to squeeze out of her over this 14 week process, we were told that it almost never takes 12 weeks for proofs, although when our photos were ready, we were told they were only “14 days late”. Nicole is wishy-washy and changes the rules to suit her will, with no regard to her customers. We were more than patient with her as we purchased her services as part of a huge promotion being offered, and we understood she clearly was not prepared for this influx of business. Unfortunately, our patience was not rewarded as she only took advantage of us in return.
I made a rookie mistake and decided to take a chance and help someone who was getting into the wedding photography business, instead of choosing a highly-recommended photographer.
I truly hope this information helps someone out – When I was doing my research prior to booking services from Nicole, there was no information on Epic Vow. I wish there had been so I could have avoided all this hassle, which resulted in my wedding photos being hijacked.

I wouldn't recommend this photographer Nicole Daniels/Epic Vow to my worst enemy. She was pleasant at the wedding but went MIA with my photos for over a year. I tried to contact her via email, facebook, telephone, Groupon, the BBB with ZERO success. My husband and I finally hired a lawyer and tried contacting her that way to get our photos. We were about to proceed with taking her to court when she sent a blanket email blast announcing a new feature on her website where you could "instantly" download your photo gallery. After consulting our lawyer we did used this feature and got our photos (even though the gallery is STILL missing a few very key shots that we requested, including a photo of us with my husband's grandparents) and it worked. Our year long nightmare was over. AND THEN she poured salt in the wound and sent another blanket email announcing a 1/2 off sale off the purchase of your gallery. How insulting. I still have never received any direct correspondence, apology, explanation, etc from the terrible business person. DO NOT USE HER. TELL YOUR FRIENDS TO NEVER USE HER! Through our nightmare, I met 3 other brides via facebook that used her and had a similarly horrible experience with this woman/company.
