DJ Emelita is the best

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From start to finish, DJ Emelita's energy was absolutely incredible and truly set the tone for the entire night. They knew exactly how to read the room and kept the dance floor full the whole time—something our guests are still talking about! Beyond their talent, their kindness and professionalism really stood out. They were so easy to work with throughout the entire process, making us feel comfortable, heard, and completely taken care of. Every detail was handled seamlessly, which allowed us to just be present and enjoy our day.

DJ Emelita and Entertainment Specialists Excellence

DJ Emelita did our wedding and did an incredible job playing music for the ceremony, first dance, father/daughter and mother/son dance and finally bringing the energy up for everyone joining the dance floor. It's not easy balancing younger music tastes with older hits from Sinatra but she did a tremendous job. Lastly, our nephew (5 yo, autistic) really wanted to press a button on the boards and DJ Emelita was very accommodating and he loved it. Entertainment Specialists were fairly easy to work with and connected me to a few DJs I emailed back and forth with and everything worked smoothly with the lights and audio equipment day of.

You will LOVE DJ Antonio Mayberry

We cannot recommend DJ Antonio Mayberry with Entertainment Specialists enought! We picked him because he has an AMAZING voice which we were exceited to hear during our wedding - and that is just the start of what impressed us. He was so flexible, so responsive, and professional. He helped plan out our evening from start to finish, got to know us as a couple, matched our vibe, and kept everyone up on the dance floor!! The music he played during the cocktail hour and dinner was perfect - many guests told us they were impressed that they could hear the music, but it was not so loud that they couldn't hear each other talk. It was a perfect soundtrack to our big night

We cannot recommend DJ Emelita enough for making our wedding reception truly unforgettable! From the perfect playlist to the fantastic photo booth, everything was handled with such care and attention to detail.
DJ Emelita took the time to understand the vibe we wanted for our reception and curated a playlist that had everyone on the dance floor all night long. The music was absolutely spot-on and so many of our guests couldn't stop complimenting her music. We are still getting these compliments a couple weeks later. It was the perfect mix of songs that kept the energy high while also creating those special moments throughout the night. She specifically had a great anniversary dance game..
In addition to the music, the photo booth was a huge hit with our guests. It added such a fun and interactive element to the evening, and everyone loved having a keepsake from the celebration. We had so many great pictures and keepsakes for our guests.
What really stood out to us was DJ Emelita’s attention to detail and professionalism. From our first meeting to the last song played, she made sure everything was seamless, and we felt completely confident in her hands.

DJ Victor and Boston String Quartet were perfect for our wedding day!

We are so glad we booked Entertainment Specialists for our wedding! Barbara was our point of contact, and helped us identify what types of services we wanted to book all the way through making sure everything was ready to go for the wedding day and coordinating between the different artists! We wanted musicians for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and the Boston String Quartet was a perfect fit for our romantic and intimate ceremony. The musicians did a phenomenal job and had a varied offerings we got to choose from, from classical to modern pop music covers. For our reception, we knew we wanted a DJ to fit the smaller space and to play a variety of different types of music. DJ Victor did an incredible job, flowing seamlessly from classic 60s and 70s wedding songs to modern pop anthems. He was also incredibly attentive to our vision and details about our music taste during the planning process up to the wedding day. He even flawlessly executed a last minute change in song timing for our first dance! My husband and many of our guests and family members are hobbyist or professional musicians, so making sure our music was good was a huge priority for us, and DJ Victor and the Boston String Quartet absolutely delivered! We also got uplights through Entertainment Specialists and they did so much adding to the design of the day, especially during the dancing. We are so glad we booked Entertainment Specialists, they’re an amazing company to work with for Boston weddings!

Big Lux, Violinist

I first discovered the amazingly talented violinist Big Lux at a wedding expo in the Seaport and I was so lucky to find that he was available on my wedding date right when I inquired. He did our ceremony music and cocktail hour music and fulfilled all of my requests and more! I basically was going for a Bridgerton theme and he exceed that! He played modern hits in addition to classical and old time songs. The guests were raving about him! The process in connecting was also seamless and I was in touch with Anna via email who was very organized and communicative.

An unforgettable night!

We love DJ EMELITA!! She worked seamlessly with our pianist as she emceed during the pre-party portion of the wedding. Once it came to party time, she did an amazing job reading the room and getting everyone from young adults, older folks, even the children got on the dance floor. She even jumped in at one point and showed us all how to do the Wobble dance! I quite literally danced my shoes off. Thank you DJ Emelita for an unforgettable night!

Open communication and great delivery

Matt Wininger DJ'd our wedding (both music and karaoke) and everything went amazingly. The venue threw a lot of curve balls at him, but he always had a backup plan. Amazing experience with DJ Emelita and Photobooth

We booked DJ Emelita and the basic photobooth package for our wedding. DJ Emelita was super friendly and amazing to work with. We had a Zoom meeting where we went over all the details of the ceremony and reception. She gave us great advice since we weren't really sure what would work out well. During the wedding itself, she brought a ton of energy to the dance floor and made our night amazing! Would highly recommend her. The photobooth attendants were also really high-energy and suggested poses for the guests, making it much more entertaining. The photobooth was a huge hit with the guests.

DJ Emelita brought the beats! I was dancing all night

Entertainment Specialists came highly recommended by the Omni Parker House where I had my wedding in August 2023. DJ Emelita was amazing! I originally was hesitant to hire a DJ because I don’t enjoy dancing. However, it was one of the best decisions I ever made! I was dancing all night with my husband, family and guests! DJ Emelita played all the music I requested and did an amazing job MCing everything from the wedding party announcements to the parent dances to the last song. Perfect/Awesome DJ Steven Fortes

We booked DJ Steven Fortes (aka DJ Rolo) through Entertainment Specialists for our wedding at the Newport Beach House. Everything about the experience was perfect! Our rep at Entertainment Specialists, Barbara, was very professional and prompt in her communications and the prices they quoted us were reasonable.

In particular, we loved working with Steven. He spoke with us a few times prior to the event to get a sense of our music taste and what we were looking for out of the event. After these conversations we felt very confident in him as our DJ, as he was able to answer all of our questions, was clearly very experienced, and had a very professional yet relaxed approach. A week prior to the event, he sent over a worksheet to fill out with all the details such as the ceremony itinerary, the order of introductions in the reception, etc.

On the day of our wedding, he set up all of the equipment for the outdoor ceremony and indoor reception completely independently - the process couldn't have been easier for us! He just did everything he needed to do. And then he killed it during the reception! People were dancing the whole time, and several of our friends commented that it was some of the best music they had heard at a wedding. We had shared about 10 “must-play” songs, but he ended up playing at least 5 other songs which we were considering putting on our request list. So he clearly intuited what we wanted to hear! Can't recommend him enough!

DJ Ron Furr = Our Wedding MVP

DJ Ron Furr was the MVP of our wedding reception at Atlantico in Boston. He took the time to walk us through the process on the phone, took all of our Spotify playlists and curated the night just perfectly. We initially had fears of having a kitschy wedding DJ, but Ron came through perfectly. Roaming photobooth is a MUST!

While planning our wedding we decided we wanted to add in a photobooth for our more intimate wedding (~75 guests). Entertainment Specialists was a preferred vendor of our venue and were a pleasure to work with from start to finish! We decided on the roaming photobooth which was a huge hit with all of our wedding guests! We received so many compliments on how funny and engaging our photobooth operator was and everyone had a great time taking photos and making gifs throughout the night. We could not recommend the roaming photobooth and working with Entertainment Specialists enough!!

Wonderful to work with Steve Manning!

Steve was the DJ at our wedding and we could not have been more pleased with our experience with him from start to finish!! After interviewing another DJ for our wedding, we could tell that Steve was very focused on it being our day and the music / atmosphere reflecting that. We had previously been to weddings or spoken to DJs that had a specific vision for how they wanted to run the wedding (which could work for some people), but we really appreciated how attentive Steve was to make sure everything was the way we wanted it. We had multiple calls with him in the lead up to our wedding day and he was very responsive over email. He arrived more than 2 hours early to setup in two locations for the cocktail hour and reception (our ceremony was offsite with an organ). He did a great job of blending the songs for the dancing portion of the wedding with great dance songs that got everyone up dancing and adding our style to it as well. He did a great job of MCing and making sure there were no sound or logistical issues — He was a pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding DJ! Keith Washington was the *best* wedding DJ!

My husband and I got married in August 2022, and we worked with Keith Washington out of Entertainment Specialists. (We also did some initial coordination with Mike Amado, who was excellent to work with)!

Keith and my husband and I just clicked. We got along so well; he's so easy going and fun (but also responsive). Our music tastes align really well with him. We wanted fun and light jazzy/funky/R&B music for most of the night, with a few big poppy dance songs for the guests. Keith came through and put together an awesome chill playlist for dinner/cocktail hour, and such a fun set for the reception. He also transitioned our (very untraditional) ceremony music so well - even when the ring bearer and flower boy took so long to get down the aisle that Keith had to smoothly loop the song :D

He was great to work with leading up to the wedding too. He had a questionnaire we filled out and a couple calls to talk through our vision for the day. He also just has a really nice sounding speaking voice for announcements and such. I highly highly recommend Keith, especially if you don't want the more standard wedding music - he really did an excellent job matching the vibe we were going for.

I got requests from guests after the wedding to send them his name because they loved the music so much! I genuinely hope I get the chance to go to another event where Keith is the DJ!

Never Ending Party w/ DJ Steve Fortes!

We hired Entertainment Specialists on recommendation from our venue who had used them many times. They have a wide range of services and DJs, all at varying prices to fit your budget. We used them for DJ and uplighting services. We chose DJ Steve Fortes based on his affordability and other reviews we had read. He was amazing! He coordinated our wedding party entrances with a different song for each couple, did a great job with the introductions and MC'ing the night, and our guests never left the dance floor! Look no further - Mike Amado is THE BEST!!

Mike Amado was the DJ at our wedding and we could not have had a better experience with him from start to finish!! After interviewing a lot of DJs for our wedding, one the best things about Mike that really stood out to us was his emphasis on it being our day. I know this might sound odd, but we came across so many DJs and bands that acted like our event was their chance to show off their skills and wanted to maintain complete creative control over the music that was played. Mike was the opposite - he was there to help us every step of the way and to make sure everything was the way we wanted it. We are both really into music and wanted to pick out most of our own songs for our ceremony and cocktail reception, but weren't as confident about what to play during the dancing portion. Mike worked with us to pick our music for each part of our wedding. From just a couple songs, he was able to suggest an entire playlist that fit our style. Mike can meet you wherever you are at - whether you want to pick your entire playlist or give him a couple songs and let him pick the rest, he will make it happen! Besides being incredibly accommodating and easy to work with, he is great at mixing in music and made the dancing portion of our wedding a success!! He was even able to pull in some cultural music for us (I am Armenian) in a way that fit the mood! Mike is professional and one of the best choices we made for our wedding. Martika is the best!

Bride, Groom, MOH- Look no further! You found the perfect DJ.

I could not speak more highly of Martika and Entertainment Specialists. I found it challenging to trust reviews especially with something as important as a DJ. It was difficult to find music clips or to get an idea of their work. However, Martika had a video where the groom said something along the lines of “keep doing this, it what you were meant to do” and I couldn’t agree more.

We hired Martika for 2 back to back wedding events. The first day was with an older crowd, mostly family and the second was with friends between 20 and 40. Each group had a different music preference, demographic and location. Martika was perfect both nights! Guests from both days made it a point to say “she was the best DJ ever”.

We immediately felt connected to Martika, she understood our unique situation, answered all of our questions thoughtfully and made me feel confident that no matter who, what, when or where, she would be able to capture what we were looking for.

Light and Sound

We had small wedding of 46 people. We used Entertainment Specialists for both DJ and Lighting. DJ Antonio worked with us and made the small, intimate affair feel like a big wedding with his lively and energetic style. He was entertaining and humorous yet formal and professional. Lighting Tech AK did a fantastic job, he worked with us and was always able to find the right lighting for the moment. People commented the room looked very beautiful because of the light colors. He is also very professional and easy to work with. Valerie was awesome, professional, resourceful and was always very nice to us! She coordinated everything from the DJ to the uplighting technician. She assisted us with our choices of entertainment package, i.e. DJ, vs a Band. She is very kind and easy to work with. Everyone works together to make your day very special. We highly recommend Entertainment Specialist as a one stop shop for your entertainment needs.

Kept us dancing all night long!

My husband and I were lucky enough to work with John Zucco and his son for our wedding reception in October 2021. The service from the very beginning was exceptional and John and Entertainment Specialist set up the planning process so it all felt less daunting. On the actual day he absolutely nailed the vibe we were going for at our wedding. Everyone was dancing all night long and keeps telling us how awesome our DJ was. Highly recommend if interested in a DJ!

DJ Mike was Amazing!!!

We got married in Salem, MA on 8.28.21 in a backyard private estate wedding and hired DJ Mike Amado for our big day. Leading up to the wedding we talked to Mike a few times and was super helpful, knowledgeable and made us feel so comfortable. He handled our ceremony, cocktail and reception music plus up lighting. We had quite the dancing crew and he made the night the best party ever. All our guests were raving about him. He was so much fun and we are so happy we hired him!

DJ Ron Furr with Entertainment Specialists

We had Ron Furr as our wedding DJ in July, 2021. He was the DJ for my sister's wedding back in 2005, and I remember from that event how amazing he was. We booked Ron for our own wedding and to say he was incredible is an understatement. Ron answered all of our many questions leading up to the wedding and he was extremely helpful, even with organizing a reception itinerary that would keep guests engaged. Ron had EVERYONE on the dance floor and truly knew how to read the room and get everyone dancing. We got so many compliments from our guests on how spectacular Ron was. He without a doubt knows how to get a party started! He is extremely flexible as well. I HIGHLY recommend Ron for your event!!!!

10/10 highly recommend and would use again

Excellent to work with, from start to finish. Steve Manning was personable, professional, and made the party lively with music. Our wedding was originally delayed from its original date in October 2020 due to the COVID pandemic. Entertainment Specialists worked with us to ensure that we could have the day that we wanted with a priority of safety. Communication leading up to the day was great. Steve took the time to speak with both me and my Mom on many occasions. He really has a positive spirit and energy. On the day of, Steve was over two hours early to set up at the venue and played nice instrumental music as we took photos and guests were arriving. The audio equipment was perfect for an outdoor wedding. Steve helped us minimize external noise (the T passing by Kendall Square!) during our vows. The music transitioned to inside the Glass House and the introductions, first dance, and speeches were wonderful. Steve kept the music going all night, working his way up through the decades, even getting Bill’s Grandpa swaying with the ladies on several occasions. The dance floor was lively all night with a good mix of current music, throwbacks, and even some special requests for EDM and metal at the very end of the night. Overall, a wonderful experience. Our friends want Steve to come DJ more of our parties. Thank you to Entertainment Specialists!

Everyone loved Keith!

We hired Entertainment Specialists for a photo booth for our wedding and it was a hit. Valerie was so easy to work with during the booking process, and the photo booth attendant, Keith was the star of the show. We've had multiple people tell us how awesome he was. Looking at the pictures afterwards in our guest book really shows how much people enjoyed it.

roaming photo booth was the best!!!

Absolutely loved working with Entertainment Specialists! We worked with them for the roaming photo booth and I was not expecting it to be such a hit but everyone LOVED it!! The person from Entertainment Specialists that was there on our wedding day was made for this job-he was so interactive, funny, and just overall fantastic-everyone raved about him. The roaming photo booth is awesome because it doesn't take up space and guests don't have to go up to it, they man carrying it just comes around to everyone. He got some awesome photos and videos of the dance floor too! Absolutely loved working with them and cannot recommend the roaming photo booth enough!!

Hire them!!

We hired DJ Mike and the roaming photo booth which was SO cool! We hired them on very short notice and they were able to pull off the wedding of our dreams! DJ Mike was even willing to make changes the day before! It was a small COVID style wedding he even had fantastic ideas to get everyone up and dancing. 10/10 would hire them for any DJing or photo booths in the future!

10/10!!! Live-streaming services

With Covid, we wanted an option for all of our families to see our ceremony. Entertainment specialists was instrumental in making that happen! From the start, Val, Martika and Ben were extremely responsive in answering all of my questions about live stream set ups. On the day of the wedding, the cameras were low profile, the zoom went off without a hitch, and we received the live footage within 48 hours! Martika was fantastic behind the scenes as the MC of the virtual event and Ben and Val were so professional at the venue and were so great to work with. My family and friends had nothing but wonderful things to say about the viewing experience. In this new day, I could not recommend Entertainment Specialists enough for live streaming services!

We highly recommend DJ Vic for your wedding!

DJ Vic (Victor Barruzza) helped make our wedding the best day of our lives! We needed to push our wedding date back due to COVID, and he was incredibly flexible and accommodating. We had a call with him a few weeks out from our wedding day to go over the timeline and were blown away by his organization and creativity when it came to planning the flow of our reception. He’s also really funny!

DJ Vic is a true professional and made sure our wedding day went perfectly. The lighting tech was also wonderful and really helped set the visual mood for the reception. Due to COVID, we ended up having less than 25 guests, but DJ Vic was able to read the room and provide exactly the right songs and volume to move the reception along seamlessly.

If you’re looking for an incredible DJ with plenty of experience and talent, DJ Vic is your guy!

Hire Entertainment Specialists NOW!

We got married last Month in Newport RI and hired ES for uplighting at the venue, a photo booth and a DJ (John Zucco). We couldn't have been more pleased! The communication was great with a team of people from ES for every detail. They made sure the officiant, bride and groom could be heard with lapel mics. They helped us with a logo for the photo booth prints which everyone loved! They even sent us digital copies of the prints after out big day to share in the memories of our friends. John Zucco- DJ extraordinaire

John Zucco from Entertainment Specialists was a joy to work with from start to finish. He was friendly, professional, and eager to please. He was also very flexible and understanding when we have to reschedule our wedding due to covid. He went above in beyond to make sure that things were exactly the way we wanted. He altered songs for us and was very quick to respond to any questions we had. He clearly loves what he does and made the whole experience very easy and fun. He has years worth of experience behind him and it shows. He kept the flow of the wedding going perfectly, helped make safety announcements to keep the wedding covid friendly, and just brought a lot of good energy to the party. DJ Mike is the best!!

We used DJ Mike for our wedding over Labor Day weekend and I could not recommend him enough. Our friends and family could not stop raving about how great the music was. Not only was the music great, Mike was very professional and extremely helpful with planning and timing of the dances, speeches, etc. When it came to logistics he had great suggestions which really put me at ease. I was a bit all over the place leading up to the wedding and Mike was very flexible and accommodating with our last minute requests. Mike and his team truly made it a night to remember! I firmly believe music can make or break a wedding, and DJ Ron Furr made ours. He was helpful in offering suggestions for different formalities such as introductions and cake cutting, and once we were ready to party he had everyone dancing. 07.05.2019 a day to remember!

Booking my DJ and photobooth through Entertainment Specialists was easy and straightforward! They have a huge roster of services and performances and once you make your selection, everything is all set for you. As a Korean and Chinese couple with folks coming from abroad, we knew we wanted a DJ/MC who was culturally sensitive enough to manage both sides of our family. DJ Emelita was honestly so perfect for this role and is the best at what she does. She made great music selections that had everyone having fun and we are absolutely NOT a dancing crowd. I was able to send her some music in our languages and she seamlessly integrated it into the night. I loved her attention to detail and her energy was contagious throughout the night. I was really grateful that we found her. Keith Washington was our photo booth attendant and he is literally the best one I have ever encountered. He interacted with every single one of the guests and encouraged them to have fun and use props, so it wasn’t just boring photos all night. He was one of my favorite people that I interacted with all night. I am in awe of both of their passions and I would have paid more for them if you ask me to do this all over again. If you can I highly encourage you to specifically request both these professionals as they really made our wedding night!

DJ Ron Furr will make your wedding better

DJ Ron Furr would do an amazing job with your wedding. He was instrumental in helping us plan the ceremony and reception. He could double as a wedding planner. We had no idea how the night would go. After a conversation with him, we were confident it would go well. He was generous with his time and incredibly patient with all of our questions.

Our wedding party was a mix of languages, ages, and backgrounds. We all had a blast. He played a great mix of songs and adjusted quickly to last minute requests.

Ron is the best. Hands down the best thing to happen to our planning and event.

DJ and photographer hired through ES

We hired DJ Ron and Chelsea from CLW Photography for our wedding. Both did a great job! Ron carefully went through everything we wanted and didn’t want at the reception with us and played great dance music. He also worked with us to provide the sound system for our friend who sang three songs during the ceremony. Chelsea was very easy to work with and had a good eye for photo backgrounds. DJ Martika, the best wedding DJ I've ever heard, and no i'm not biased

DJ Martika is amazing!!! We requested an non-stop dance party, and she delivered. I'd never been to a wedding that had so much people dancing the whole time. Usually, I feel DJs purposefully play a couple songs to cool down the dance floor, but not her. She played the perfect blend of disco, 80s pop, K-pop, and early 2000s pop so there was something for the parents' generation, us early 30s folks, and for our friends who only listen to Asian pop :P

We also had some custom music requests because we had choreographed dances, and she nailed all our dance cues perfectly! Would highly recommend her to any couple who likes to dance!

Steve Manning made our wedding fantastic! Just a few things to exemplify:

He's very easy to work with and receptive to playlist changed and last minute requests.

He has a great "announcer" voice.

He really can "read a room". A huge fraction of our wedding were huge punk rock fans and after seeing the reaction from an initial request Steve created a great playlist that went seamlessly from high energy rock n roll to slow dances and back again. Steve was a huge factor in our wedding's overall "vibe".

Dancing All Night Long

DJ John Zucco

DJ John Zucco is, in a word, fantastic! He DJ'd our 8/25/19 wedding, and the music was perfect from start to finish. He immediately put us at ease when we met him prior to the wedding to discuss the reception and was very helpful in helping us choose processional and recessional music. He is so experienced and it really shows. During the reception, I happened to be chatting when my favorite song was played, and when he heard that I missed it, he played it again just for me. So sweet! He had everyone dancing for the entire reception and all my guests commented on how much they liked the music. He really contributed to making our event memorable! I loved my experience with the Fun Sauce Band and Photobooth

I had the best experience with entertainment specialists from beginning to end. We struggled trying to decide between a band and a dj and didn't know what to do. the whole staff at entertainment specialists worked with our vision and customized the Fun Sauce Band to fit our needs. We had live music for ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner and then rocked out to the DJ for the remainder of the evening. Our guests raved about the talent of the band and loved the enthusiasm the DJ brought to the dance floor. I was concerned not having a band for dancing would make less people dance but the floor was packed all night. Being in the industry myself it was so reassuring to know i had an amazing team behind me to make my vision come true and i was able to have a stress free day.

We also got our photobooth services from Entertainment Specialists as well. Keith Washington the photo booth attendant was spectacular. He helped give people different ideas for their three photos and helped make everyone laugh through out the process. it showed that he loved his job and everyone enjoyed their experience in the photobooth. we purchased the memory book upgrade and we absolutely love it. I can't stop looking at the funny photos and will definitely have this as a coffee table book for others to see when they come over.

We had DJ Vic from Entertainment Specialists for our wedding in July. He was amazing! He had a few phone calls with us in advance to ensure our day was exactly what we wanted. His online song system was easy to use, and he was able to locate songs for us for special requests. He checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we were happy with the music. DJ Martika and The Vogue Booth! Match made in heaven!

I don't normally write reviews but my experience with the Entertainment Specialists family was amazing from beginning to end. Steve handled most of the initial emails and was very responsive when I had any questions. We booked DJ Martika and I could not be more happier with that decision. As I am apart of the LGBTQ community and also of Latino decent I wanted to choose someone that would be able to cater to a very diverse range of guests while also making us feel comfortable. Martika easily excelled at that and it was almost as If I had known her all my life. She was very supportive and on board with all of our ideas. She had our dancefloor packed for the entire duration of the reception. I was very picky and selective with the type of music I wanted played as I am a music junkie and she managed to play a majority of our "Must Play" list and blend and transition the songs EFFORTLESSLY. From Disco, to Pop, to Latin, she sure is talented and her energy and excitement contributed to the whole vibe of our wedding. I had numerous guests compliment us on the music and her professionalism. I would hire her again in the future for any DJ services needed. Another hit of the night, also supplied by E.S was their Vogue Booth. Now we were worried at first as it's a newer product and wasn't sure if our guests would understand or know how to use it but we sure were WRONG. Our guests LOVED it and we could not stop laughing with all the funny videos/gifs they made in the booth. Overall Martika, the Vogue booth, lighting, and everything E.S contributed towards the day truly made our wedding a unique, special, and amazing time. DJ Mike Amado and his lighting assistant were incredible for our July 2019 wedding! The lighting was amazing and DJ Mike Amado was incredible! We had so many compliments of how great the music was all night long and had a ball dancing the night away! Everything was so great, I couldn't have asked for a better DJ! He played all the music we loved and made very smooth transitions into every song. In addition, no song felt like it dragged on forever, Mike is professional and the best! I highly recommend him and his company!

Awesome wedding - DJ Steve Manning is great

Excellent Entertainment

Steve Fortes was excellent from the time we asked him to be our DJ straight through the wedding. He kept the dance floor going all night. All of the guest raved about what a great job he did. He even worked with me to make sure the music volume and lights were ok for my concussion. I recommend him and entertainment specialists for anyone looking for a DJ.

Entertainment to the max

We hired DJ Benny Goodman through Entertainment Specialists. He was awesome to work with, answered all our questions and was quick to respond. During the wedding Benny took care of everything, we didn't need to worry about any of the details and he kept people on the dancing floor all night!
Also got the photo booth from ES, Barbara and her team did a great job. Everyone loved it and the pictures came out great! Loved the book they give you with everyone's photos. Nice touch.
Highly recommend DJ Benny Goodman and Entertainment Specialists, they were great to work with and helped make our day perfect!

Great DJ and great uplighting!

We hired DJ Martika for our wedding and got an uplighting package through Entertainment Specialists. We highly recommend working with DJ Martika if you're looking for an amazing dance party for your reception!!! She handled music for our ceremony, which went flawlessly, and she picked the perfect music for each part of the night. We gave her some must-play songs and do-not-play songs. She figured out our taste in music and picked songs that matched each part of the night - cocktail hour, buffet dinner then dance party. We also loved the uplighting Entertainment Specialists set up for us.

John Zucco was an exceptional DJ for our wedding on 8/18/18. He did everything exactly as asked and he kept the party going all night! He does a great “voice of God” and was really enthusiastic announcing people into the reception. He also did our music for our ceremony and he blended things very nicely. He did some cool song editing-cropping which parts of songs we wanted, shortening certain songs, and slowing things down for the processional so they would sound better. He was very organized and respected our DNP list even when some songs we did not want were requested. He let us be the center of attention while making sure everyone had a great time. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!

The absolute best part of my wedding last weekend was the dancing, and we owe it all to DJ Martika. She was truly our favorite vendor throughout the wedding planning process. She played every song we wanted her to play, and added in her own mix of fun contemporary and classic wedding songs. She did an amazing job of reading the room and playing exactly the right song for the mood. I just wanted to give her a big hug at the end of the night for helping make my wedding day so special!

Entertainment Specialists DJing services were the BEST that I've ever heard at any wedding I've ever been to (and I've been to a lot of weddings). The DJ had everyone dancing up a storm from the start to the end. We are still getting complements on the music. The DJ did an excellent job and we were very happy.

We had Emilta DJ out wedding and she was phenomenal. She was very courteous and professional leading up to the big day, and helped us get organized and put together all the information we needed. On the day itself, she was 100% on top of everything, everything ran very smoothly and we didn't have to worry about a thing! She also did a great job of incorporating our suggestions for music and turn it into a full night of great dance music. I would hire her again for any event I have in the future.

We had DJ Martika for our wedding afterparty in April and we couldn't have been happier with her from start to finish (1am to be exact). She is very responsive, reasonably priced, and truly made us feel like our wedding never ended! Our guests danced the right away and still have been calling/texting us, 2 months later, to tell us they had never danced for that long before. DJ Martika, you are awesome!

We picked DJ Martika for our wedding and we couldn't be happier. She was so fun to talk to and so nice about everything. We had a very nerdy wedding and she was totally open to all the nerdy music choices we threw at her. She made sure everything ran smoothly and also did the music for our ceremony. I couldn't be happier with how everything went and in the end I think I can say we made a new friend out of it. Both sides of our family still keep mentioning how fun the party was and all my friends keep talking about how awesome our DJ was. The photo booth we got was also just as amazing and everyone loved it so much. It's been the talk to our families and the photos are my favorite. If I ever need a DJ again I'm calling Martika and Entertainment Specialists.

We hired DJ Martika through Entertainment Specialists. Hiring Martika as our wedding DJ was one of the first "big" decisions we made for our wedding day and she left us absolutely delighted. My husband and I got married over Memorial Day weekend (May 28, 2017). DJ Martika is phenomenal! My husband and I can not say enough about Martika. She has a charismatic personality and brings so much energy every single time. DJ Martika went above and beyond for Pat and I. She edited our first dance song for us to accommodate my request to remove some words, shortened my father/daughter dance song, and helped us pick the perfect selection for our ceremony and entrances. I still have people coming up to us raving about her and how much fun our wedding was. Honestly, there was not one single person sitting the entire time. Our wedding was a constant dance party. Martika did an awesome job of keeping the tone upbeat, light and fun. She mixed old tunes with new- it made for an enjoyable night for every single guest. Martika, YOU ARE THE BEST! Thank you for making our wedding day everything we dreamed of, and so much more. It is a night we will never forget.

We used Entertainment Specialist for our photo booth rental! ES was awesome to work with! They were very prompt at answering any questions. Our guests are still raving about William, our attendant, who was an absolute blast! I would recommend AND request William again for photo booth rental from ES. This was the perfect add on to our celebration! I can't wait to see our online gallery and smile/laugh at all of our pictures!

We had Mike Amado as our DJ. He was fantastic and I highly recommend him! He has clearly been doing this for a long time and knows his stuff—he kept everyone on the dance floor and numerous guests told us how much they liked our DJ. Mike also kept the evening flowing smoothly, sticking to our timeline we discussed beforehand.

Mike also played music before and during our ceremony as requested, which involved additional setup since it was further away from the reception. He also provided a microphone for our officiant and setup a standing microphone for readings. In addition, Mike setup speakers in an additional area where the cocktail hour was. In the barn he had a full spin table and the package included lights which they were able to match perfectly with our colors. His staff also made the process easy, from booking with Steve to arranging details with Martika, it was a smooth process. Mike was extremely personable and professional, and really made the evening fun and joyous!

We loved working with DJ Emelita! Before our wedding, she gave us a bridal worksheet to fill out so we could tell her what we were looking for for our ceremony and reception. A couple weeks before the wedding, she came to our house and we discussed every detail of our wedding day. From the kind of music we wanted played while guests were arriving to the final song and everything in between. She helped us make decisions and made great song suggestions for various parts of the reception. Also, my dad and I danced to a mash up of songs. I emailed her the mashup we wanted the day before she came to our house and she had it completed the following day. She brought the CD to our house and played it for us right away. It is clear that she loves what she does and is very passionate about her work. That passion makes her a wonderful DJ! I would absolutely recommend her!

I have known John Zucco for many many years. I've seen him DJ at events in the past and he'd always done a fantastic job. I was thrilled to find out he had my Wedding date available when I inquired.
John was always very responsive and easy to work with. He did the sound for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He was phenomenal! I also got uplighting from John which completely transformed the space! I would highly reccmmend Entertainment Specialists to anyone hosting a social or corporate event!

We had the pleasure of booking Ron Furr for our April Fools Wedding. No joke Ron had our guests out of their seats and on that dance floor with ease. He was a joy to work with and was great at reading the dance floor. My family are steppers and many have met their wrath- I never had a doubt in my mind that they wouldn't love him Many of them asked me for his contact info so we may be hearing from some of them in the near future. We also had an open air Photo Booth which was also a big hit! However really the MVP of the night - hands down- goes to Ron and his team.

We LOVED working with DJ Martika! She was very responsive to our emails, easy to plan with, and just an incredible DJ. Our main goal for our wedding was to have a giant dance party. We wanted to get through dinner, toasts, first dances, and cake cutting as quickly as possible and DJ Martika was flexible and made it work. We ended up having a three hour dance party and the dance floor was filled the entire time. People finished the night incredulous -- DJ Martika blew us all away! She read the room, changed songs at exactly the right time, and brought out amazing songs that were not overplayed and that everyone was really into. WOW!!!! Thank you for an amazing night! We can't speak highly enough of DJ Martika!

We used Mike Amado from Entertainment Specialists and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision. He walked us through a typical timeline and what flowed the best in his experience and music selections when we first met with him. We trusted him and it worked out perfectly for us. I wouldn’t have thought to discuss that with the DJ but Im glad we did and it definitely matters. As for the music, we gave him a broad “We just like to dance and want to make sure that people are up and dancing the whole time.” He did just that! The time flew by and the dance floor was full the whole night. The questionnaire given to us a month before hand was comprehensive and answered any questions that we had. Included in this package was uplighting as well. They did a beautiful job and did not make it look tacky! There wasn’t anything I’d change about the day or DJ Mike. He killed it! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

I found DJ Vic after hearing him perform at my friend's wedding. I immediately got his information to book him for mine, despite it being in New York. DJ Vic's website where we could organize our event was excellent. I cannot say enough about their service, definitely book for your next event!

DJ John Zucco from Entertainment Specialists was the DJ at our wedding & also provided the lighting. He played almost all of our songs & added a few good ones that we didn't have on the list. Steven Fortes was the DJ for our wedding at the Seaport Boston Hotel in June 2016 and he was absolutely AMAZING. Not only was Steve professional, thoughtful, and friendly in the weeks leading up to the wedding, his skills on the turntables made our reception spectacular. My husband and I are big dancers (as are our friends and family) and he did not disappoint - keeping the dance floor packed the entire time (and even after the official end time...we literally had to tear people away from all the fun and convince them to move to the after party!)

We selected Steve because we were confident he could provide and mix music catering to our cross-cultural wedding; my husband is from Trinidad and I'm from the US so we had a pretty diverse crowd. He was able to seamlessly mix from Michael Jackson, to soca and calypso, to old school hip hop, to Whitney, to classic rock and back again keeping everyone moving and grooving (and "wining" :)) on the dance floor all together. Steve not only played all of our "must-plays" but instinctively knew just what else we would love too. The night was literally everything I could have hoped for and more...due in no small part to Steve.

This review is long overdue but I hope it begins to reflect his first class service. I would highly recommend him!

We used Dj Ron Furr from Entertainment Specialists and he was absolutely amazing to work with! We knew during our initial phone call with him that he was going to be the best part of our wedding, and we were right. Ron was very charismatic and kept everyone dancing all night. He played our entire song list and also played requests from our guests. He was great about following the "no play" list as well! He was full of ideas to help us give our centerpieces away and we have gotten so many compliments regarding him.

DJ Martika was great! Her personality matched my wife and mine perfectly. She was laid back, organized and put us at ease during our wedding. Even our venue's manager was impressed with Martika. She had everyone dancing at the reception and was able to accommodate our request for two music locations at the last minute. I will definitely use DJ Martika again.
