I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to our incredible travel agent, Deirdre, who played an absolutely pivotal role in making our destination wedding a dream come true.
From the very beginning, Deirdre was an absolute rock star. She went above and beyond to assist us with every aspect of our wedding planning. What struck me most was her unwavering patience, even when I changed my mind about the wedding location multiple times. She handled it all with a smile and a can-do attitude, which made me feel at ease and confident in her abilities.
Throughout the entire process, Deirdre was not just a travel agent; she was our lifeline. She was always there to answer our questions, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant. Her responsiveness was a true blessing, and it made the planning process so much smoother and less stressful.
But where Deirdre truly shone was in her ability to handle the unexpected. Our guest list experienced quite a bit of fluctuation, with people canceling their reservations or requesting to bring additional guests. Deirdre managed it all with grace and professionalism, ensuring that we were kept in the loop while she coordinated behind the scenes, sparing us any unnecessary stress.
One of the most remarkable things about Deirdre was her dedication to our happiness. When we encountered challenges with the resort, she didn't hesitate to advocate for us. She took it upon herself to make sure that our wedding plans were given the priority they deserved, even when the resort was unresponsive. Her tenacity and commitment to ensuring our special day was perfect were truly awe-inspiring.

The enlightened excursions team truly went above and beyond for my destination wedding! We had over 100 guests traveling from all over the US and she was able to keep all of our travel arrangements organized and handled all of the communication so I didn't have to worry about it! Their team gave me so many extras I was not expecting, they created my wedding website with all of the information for my guests and even sent my save the dates out to our guests. I would highly recommend them for your destination wedding! -

We originally choose Stacey to book our honeymoon to Europe for August 2020 in February of 2020. Of course the pandemic caused us to change plans, but Stacey was on top of everything the whole time. In Spring of 2021 we revisited our honeymoon options, and because Europe was not open at the time, we explored different options around the world. Stacey came up with several incredible options for us, we ended up going to Costa Rica in August of 2021 for 2 weeks. Stacey made sure that we were as prepared as we possibly could have been, and maybe our honeymoon as stress-free as possible. While in Costa Rica we stayed at 5 different hotels, and had many different excursions that Stacey booked for us (all within our budget). We encountered an issue with transportation once while in Costa Rica and Stacey got on the phone and fixed the issue for us quickly. We are so grateful for the fantastic honeymoon that Stacey planned for us and we absolutely will use her again on our future travels. -

I wanted to plan a dream vacation for my beloved girlfriend’s 60th birthday at the last minute, during the coronavirus pandemic, at a warm destination, and LBGT+ friendly. Needless to say, I had zero expectation that it would really happen. Fortunately, I had an amazing 50th birthday experience of my own, planned well in advance by Enlighten Excursions, so I decided to give them another go. After contacting Deirdre with Enlighten Excursions, my skepticism and worry melted away. Deirdre is kindhearted, listens well, professional, well informed, resourceful, thorough and efficient.
When asked about our trip, I describe it as being nothing short of a fairytale. From transportation arrangements to butler drawn bubble baths, every little detail was covered. The trip was excellent, easily the best experience I ever had working with a travel agent. Besides, appreciating how Deirdre went above and beyond for me, I think what I valued most about this trip was that she educated herself on the coronavirus protocols in place for each destination I explored and made suggestions to limit our exposure. If you want to get the best of what great travel offers, Enlighten Excursions is sure to please!

Deidre and Stacey went above and beyond to help make our destination wedding amazing. They fought for us when the resort canceled and continued to advocate for my husband and I. When we were planning our wedding, I knew the last thing we needed was the added stress of planning a honeymoon on top of it. Luckily, we found Enlighten Excursions and it was the best decision for us! Stacey helped us plan our dream honeymoon to Spain, including Barcelona, Seville, and Madrid. She was super flexible when we wanted to change the number of paid activities or "excursions" in our itinerary for more unstructured time on our own - it ended up being the perfect balance. Stacey was also readily available to help when we had questions in the week leading up to and even during our trip. The planning fee was very reasonable and 110% worth it. I would recommend Enlighten Excursions to anyone looking for a stress-free solution to honeymoon planning! -

We cannot express how lucky we were to have stubbled upon Deirdre and her expertise! She is so warm and knowledgeable, experienced and attentive to every little detail.
From the beginning, Deirdre helped us for months by communicating and researching the most perfect hotel to fit our destination wedding needs. She spent hours emailing, calling to make sure every detail was perfect. She was so wonderful and patient walking us through the process of putting on a wedding from start to finish.
Our guests raved about working with her and planning out their travel plans. She sent detailed personalized itineraries to all of our guest. Many of my guests are now utilizing her expertise to plan other family trips and she helped us plan our honeymoon to Italy! Deirdre even made time to stop by my bridal shower to make a surprise visit which meant so much to us!
