Ryan was the best DJ I could've ever imagined hiring. From the very first meeting, I could tell that this is his passion. The amount of detail that goes into his work is amazing. He answered my millions of questions without hesitation and really made sure it was everything we wanted for our wedding day. He brings so many different aspects to the wedding that is very different than any other DJ. One of my favorite parts was that he brought screens to be placed around the dance floor. Pictures from the night of the wedding and photo booth were being displayed but also photos from our relationship that were fun to showcase to everyone. We're a couple who enjoys a good mash up of songs - Ryan did just what we wanted. He played some songs all the way through but also did a good amount of mash ups. He is so talented in his ability to read the room and make sure the party is fun. 10/10 recommend Ryan and his amazing services!

Always an awesome night with Engaged Entertainment!
Ryan was the DJ for my sister’s wedding at the end of July and it was a wonderful night. This was my third sister to get married and one of five weddings I attended just this summer; so I’ve seen a whole array of vendors. Engaged Entertainment is absolutely top of the line, best of the best. Ryan brings infectious energy and exceptional organization that truly makes any party feel like an *event*! A DJ is responsible for more than playing music - they set the mood, engage with the guests, and elevate the atmosphere. Ryan’s skills in these areas are unparalleled. I had the chance to see Ryan again at a wedding I was working at last weekend. While his skill and professionalism matched my sister’s wedding, so many details were unique - you can see he works hard to make sure each couple has a special night personalized to them. At both weddings I saw how Ryan worked with and supported the other vendors to make the night run seamlessly. They were all so happy to work together and that’s very telling. Incredible experience with Ryan
My now husband and I cannot recommend Ryan more enthusiastically and wholeheartedly! From our first introductory conversation, we knew we wanted to work with Engaged Entertainment. Ryan spend so much time over the course of our wedding planning asking us questions about our vision for our wedding, providing suggestions for entrances, ceremony components, and reception events. Every guest at our wedding raved about Ryan as emcee and host, and for curating the exact mood we were looking for. "Every song is amazing" and "the vibes are amazing!" are some comments from our family. As part of our wedding package, Ryan provided ceremony music and microphones for myself, my husband, and our officiant which ensured all of our guests could hear us sharing our vows. Ryan also provided reception uplighting which was a beautiful addition to our reception venue, and provided television screens to display photos during key reception moments (first dance, mother-son dance, etc.). Our guests amwere thrilled with the opportunity to share photos to be projected directly to the TV, and we captured some amazing moments with this addition. Ryan will make your wedding!

Life saver!
Ryan is a life saver. I was recently co-matron of honor in my sister's wedding. For our speech my other sister and I decided it would be a fun idea to narrate a slide show of pictures, however the night before the wedding as I'm trying to test our set up I come to the terrible realization that the venue has so many windows that it was impossible for our slide show to be seen on the screen we had. Cue panic attack. As a last ditch effort I called Ryan to see if he could help us out. He changed his entire planned set up the night before to include awesome screens, made sure our slide show worked, took engagement photos and personal photos I provided to make a slide show for the first dance, and worked with the photographer to show previews of their wedding photos during the reception. He completely saved the day and my sanity! I cannot thank him enough for the beautiful job he did and amazing customer service he provided!

Ryan is absolutely incredible to work with. He and his team are so professional, organized and HELPFUL! We began planning our wedding with Ryan and he took so much unneeded stress off of us! He allowed us to rent equipment from him for our destination ceremony, and was able to surprise us with the most amazing gift during our Happily Ever After party (our reception). The best experience we could have asked for
Ryan was truly the whole package. When we were originally pricing out DJs for our wedding, we were a little shocked by how much they are. However, music is very important to both of us, and we had heard enough negative stories from friends and acquaintances that we knew it was important to find a quality DJ. Ryan was recommended to us by an old classmate, and from our first meeting we knew we wanted him to do our wedding. Ryan is so personable, so attentive, and he makes you feel like you're the only/most important wedding he's doing (while still exuding confidence and experience). We had a great many long Zoom calls with Ryan (we were planning our wedding from across the country) and he thought of things we would never have thought of in a million years. On the day of, Ryan made sure everything went seamlessly. He was the most incredible emcee and DJ, and all our friends commented on what a great job he did curating an atmosphere. Ryan listened to everything we wanted, and somehow made it even more incredible than we could have dreamed. Ryan is worth every penny. Truly.

Ryan is the DJ you need if you’re looking for someone that is professional & knows how to keep people on the dance floor all night! We started planning with him over a year in advance. From day one he made us feel comfortable and we knew we could trust him with such a vital part of our wedding. Ryan also acted as a day of planner for the wedding. More than "just a DJ"
Ryan is a jack of all trades when it comes to weddings. He helped me and my husband curate the perfect soundtrack to our special day. Ryan thinks of all of the little details like speaker placement, and mics to really help elevate the day. He is also just really fun to work with. He knows his business and will guide any couple to achieving exactly what they want for their day. I especially loved all of the personal touches he gives to a ceremony and reception. Our guests loved the personalized introduction stories and I loved allowing my wedding party to come in to whatever song they liked! Ryan is the most personable, thoughtful, and helpful DJ out there, hands down!! Our wedding was during COVID times and because of this our plans had to change many MANY times. Ryan never missed a beat and was always so supportive during this most stressful time. I didn't have much knowledge going into wedding planning, but Ryan was so helpful with every step in the planning process as well as execution the day of. I had asked a few extra things of him which he certainly did not have to do, but did out of the kindness of his heart!! First met with Ryan and could see the passion behind the product, knew by the end of the meeting he enjoys his work. The ceremony had all the music we wanted and everyone could hear us with his micro lapel microphones. The reception went as planned, the lighting was nice and up to date. All up lighting so no red and green dots on people in photos. The photo booth was a success, everyone enjoyed it and we receive digital copies of all the moments captured that night. Ryan's narrative for introductions were perfect, he speaks with confidence and clarity.
Ryan worked with us for months leading up to the wedding to gather the information, photos, videos and wedding party bios that he needed to make his service a personable one. Ryan has a format for how the night could go that works well but is also up to any suggestions as to things you do and don't want to do. During the night he also checks in to make sure things are going well and if there is anything else he can do.
Overall Ryan can work with people who know exactly how they want the night to go and the people who have no clue and make it come out an awesome time.

So much more than just a DJ
My husband and I are so happy we hired Ryan for our wedding. He helped with our wedding in so many ways. He is more than what you think of when you think wedding DJ. Ryan helped provide the ceremony support we wanted, subtle music during cocktail hour and dinner, and did an amazing job as master of ceremonies. His introductions for our wedding party were better than we could have imagined.
Ryan is very gifted at what he does. You can tell that he loves his job and loves helping put couples weddings together into a truly magical day. We video chatted with Ryan many occasions before our wedding. He left no stone unturned in the planning process and really took a personal interest in what mattered to us on our wedding day. Ryan goes above and beyond to make your day the best that he can. From the very beginning he was always willing to meet and discuss ideas. He has set up many meetings to discuss timelines and stories and details. We had microphones hidden in our pockets for the ceremonies and all the guests commented on how well you could hear everything. The reception was wonderful with great music choices and fun activities to keep everyone entertained. Ryan is an amazing person to work with. Not only is he very professional, Ryan is also personable and extremely easy going. He is a DJ and a wedding planner rolled into one and can make the best time out of any situation. He was worth the price!

Best choice we made
We cannot thank Ryan enough for all that he did in helping us through the planning process of our wedding. Our biggest request was that everyone would dance and simply have the best time, so we were very particular in choosing our DJ. Ryan exceeded every expectation that we had. We went through multiple planning meetings with him and every time he was professional, personable and fun no matter what. From the beginning he offered so many unique and fun things. Our guests adored our love story video that he put together for us and it had everyone smiling and in tears. He also provided the up lighting. It was perfection. He also did a mashup of songs for my father/daughter dance and he hit it spot on to what we envisioned. The entire night flowed so well because of Ryan. He took the time to get to know us and our families. All of our guests commented that it was the most fun they have had at a wedding. Our first and really only request to Ryan was that people danced and he delivered. Our overall experience with Engaged Entertainment was incredible. He knows the industry, he is professional, fun, intelligent and truly amazing at what he does. We would not have had the same wedding day or experience without him!

Above and Beyond Engaging Entertainment
My husband Peter and I got married on 6/15/2019 and were fortunate to have Ryan from Engaged Entertainment for our DJ needs. He was a recommendation from Peter’s brother Mike, who claimed Ryan was experienced – and boy did he deliver! Ryan makes you feel comfortable with video chat and email conversations, and he communicated with us every step of the way. He is very organized, patient and professional. Ryan has packages that are customizable and offer things from uplighting, monogram projections, video montages and even brings his own photo booth with props.
Our wedding took place in NJ and Ryan was willing to accommodate by traveling from upstate NY. Our wedding extended an hour later and even then, Ryan kept the show going. His music is loud enough for everyone to get on the dance floor, but not to the point where you can’t hear each other talk. He also transformed our talking points for bridal party introductions into a script that made our families tear up a little. His services were worth every penny and I would highly recommend you book him for your next special event!

Great Experience
We had both the DJ and Photo booth at our Centennial Gala. Engaged Entertainment did an excellent job! A guest told me that she was able to enjoy the dinner music and yet hear conversations across the table. The music was never too loud and the selections were appropriate. The photo booth added a playful quality to a fancy event. Thank you Ryan & Colin!

Amazing job!
Ryan was an amazing DJ and Master of Ceremonies! From our first meeting with him, I knew I would not have to worry about the schedule the entire night of the reception. As a Type A person, that is saying something! He did an incredible job and we got so many compliments on how great he was. From planning the schedule, song selection, and creating our own love story video, he made our wedding so special and took away so much stress! We also had the photo booth through him and received a beautiful guest book from it; the attendant there was on top of getting a copy of each photo strip in the book and having people sign.

When my husband and I first sat down trying to decide on a DJ, we were looking for someone to play music for us and possibly provide some lighting. Ryan was so much more than a "DJ" to us. He ran the show! Ryan provided a photo booth, complete ceremony support, carefully selected music tailored to our taste, media support including a beautiful video interview of our love story from both mine and my husbands perspective and so much more. The day had so many fun and thoughtful little surprises that even we weren't expecting which made our day that much more enjoyable. If you want a DJ who doubles as a wedding planner, friend, and MASTER OF CEREMONIES, you have found the right person. Ryan and his family are among the most genuine people we have ever met and we truly could not have asked for more. Thank you so much for making our day so magical, personal, and perfect.

I cant say enough good things about our experience with Ryan and his company. The amount of effort and detail that was put into our wedding made me feel like we were the only client on the books. Not only were we given guidance and insight, but all of our concerns and desires were addressed and given.
We sat for a video interview and hashed out the details. To be honest, at first Ryan came at us with some suggestions that I was skeptical about. Color changing up lighting around the room, an entrance story for my wife and I, table games for the guests, display screens with texts and tweets in live time being shown. It all seemed very gimmicky to me at first. And boy was I wrong. It was all amazing. Everything came together great and every single thing that Ryan suggested, turned out awesome. I've been to quite a few weddings and I have never seen the DJ put in so much work and make everything come together so well. Icing on the cake? We get digital copies of the photobooth pics and everything that was tweeted and instagrammed.
We even nixed some things last minute which didnt even phase Ryan and as a guest, you would have never known the plan was changed.
As far as the price section of this review, it's never good business to talk numbers publicly. What I will say is that for everything that we got, we paid on par what other DJs cost just to play music.

Ryan goes so far above and beyond what you would ever expect from a DJ. I am so happy with the experience I had with him. He has such great, original ideas and just thinks of everything (which is so helpful to a bride)! He really helped to personalize our wedding, from the ceremony to the reception.
One of our family members sang during our ceremony, and he coordinated directly with her and even set up a practice for them to make sure everything would run smoothly for day of.
Ryan helped to make our reception a blast! Our guests are still raving how great our entrances were (all coordinated by Ryan), and how much energy he had with the dance floor, full all night. He even accommodated a last minute request to extend our party an extra hour.
I can't say enough how happy I was with Ryan as our DJ, I would recommend him to any bride!

Let me start off with saying that Ryan was absolutely amazing to work with! I had previously seen what he was capable of at my friend's wedding and told my (now) husband that if we ever got married we just HAD to have him! We live in Pennsylvania and lucky for us he made the 2 hour trip to entertain our wedding reception! Ryan is a very detailed person and really wants to know his bride and groom. From the very beginning he was very easy to work with and it felt like he was one of our best friends. Ryan is not your typical DJ, he goes above and beyond what a normal DJ does!

I would HIGHLY recommend Engaged Entertainment for weddings and any social events! Ryan is extremely professional, attentive, fun, energetic and worth every penny! I hired Engaged Entertainment for my wedding ceremony and reception. During the meetings, we discussed every aspect of how I wanted the ceremony and reception to go. When my husband and I were stuck on what to do during different aspects of the reception, Ryan had great suggestions and made the process go so smoothly. He had amazing uplighting in the reception space, an amazing photo booth that was used the entire night, played an amazing slideshow of our pictures for specific dances and played some great music. My guests were dancing and having a great time all night! If you want to make sure every dollar spent is well worth it, hire Engaged Entertainment!!

My new husband and I could not be happier that we chose Engaged Entertainment for our wedding DJ and MC. Ryan was amazing from start to finish. From the initial interview to our actual wedding day, Ryan put a lot of care and thought into our event and was great with dealing with any curve balls thrown his way. From our initial booking meeting it was clear that Ryan goes above and beyond your typical DJ. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, he was there with helpful advice from the wedding day timeline, fun games and dances for the reception, the "feel" of the cocktail hour, and obviously, the music at the reception. Engaged Entertainment uses their own online planning program where you can input all of your wedding plans, tweak them together, and also add songs to your wedding playlist. We felt very prepared and weren't stressed at all before the wedding because he had everything laid out. On the wedding day itself, Ryan made sure the night progressed as we planned. His music selection for the cocktail hour was spot on, he did a fabulous introduction for our wedding party, made announcements to our guests as necessary, and had the dance floor full all night. At the end of the night, he helped us pull off our grand exit. Overall, he was truly amazing and worth every penny. When people say not to skimp on your DJ for your wedding they are right- you need a great DJ like Ryan. Our wedding was one of the best days of our lives and Engaged Entertainment had a huge role in that. We even had a few people tell us that this was the best wedding they had attended- again something I attribute to our DJ. So if you aren't sure what DJ to book, I'm telling you- Engaged Entertainment is the way to go. You will get an amazing value and even more amazing memories.
P.S.- we booked the photo booth through Engaged Entertainment and it was a huge hit. Its not a standard tiny photo booth, its almost like a small curtained-off room. Furthermore, Ryan and his staff set up a guestbook/scrapbook station so your guests can leave their photos with a nice message. It was very well done so if you are doing a photo booth I really recommend booking this through Ryan.

Ryan was recommended to me by a co-worker who used him for his wedding. I have no words for how amazing Ryan was! From our initial "Interview" where I promptly hung up and called my FH (now my DH!) and told him I found our MC to our wedding, Ryan seriously rocked it! He clearly knows his craft and works hard to tailor a party to meet his clients needs and personality. Whenever I got stuck on an idea, he would throw out a few suggestions and options to help get me unstuck. My husband and I have very different tastes in music and he was able to create a celebration that included both of our genres tastefully and our dance floor was full all night! He was great at reading the room and slowing things down when it needed slowing, but also picking things up at the right moment too. My family is still talking about how detailed he was with our Love Story and how they could actually hear each of us in his telling of it. During the planning process, he never rushed the conversation, and really allowed my husband and I to talk about our ideas and how to best incorporate them into the ceremony. And my friends and family LOVED that they could request songs in advance. I would 1000% recommend Ryan to anyone who asks and only regret that I can't get married again just to have him as part of the ceremony!

We absolutely loved working with Ryan. He was recommended through a coworker of a family friend, and when we met with him for our initial “hello meeting” we knew he was the perfect touch for our wedding and we booked him immediately. He was easy and fun to work with, he always replied to my emails, and when we were struggling to make decisions he would offer suggestions (which is super helpful if, like most people, you’ve never planned a wedding). The week before the wedding we wanted to add a dedication dance, and we sent him and email and he put it on our timeline. Then, at the wedding the people the dedication dance was for went home pretty early, and he came over to give me an update on what was left and was perfectly fine ditching the dance because they were gone. It’s been almost 3 weeks and people are still commenting on how great he was, and how fun the photo booth was, they loved our love story video, and they enjoyed the way he passed the time. We would pick Ryan again and again if we could, and we would 100% tell you to pick him for your big day.

From beginning to end, Engaged Entertainment went above and beyond my expectations. Ryan is extremely professional, prompt, and experienced. He does it all! From our first meeting, and every meeting after, he was always organized and prepared. He helped me envision what my perfect wedding day would be and had extremely helpful advice and suggestions. He has original, unique ideas about how to personalize our day to really capture our relationship and personality and engage our guests. The wedding day was perfect, all the media he used was amazing, the photo booth was never empty, the dance floor was full, and our guests kept coming up to us and commenting how awesome the MC was. After the first meeting we had with ryan I was a little intimidated about all the planning that would need to be done- however, going through all those details with him made planning with the venue so much easier and we were even ahead of schedule. On the day of the wedding he was very flexible letting me move up certain songs I wanted to play earlier because certain people were leaving earlier. He checked with me about any changes that came up during our event and played the music that we had requested. Our guests had a great time and I am very sure that was mostly because of the DJ service.

We had a great experience with Ryan DeLap of Engaged Entertainment both on our wedding day and in the months leading up to it. Ryan is extremely professional and it is very clear that he cares about his business and his clients. From the moment we hired Engaged Entertainment, we felt like we were a priority. Ryan was able to help us execute some of our own ideas and he made some great suggestions on how to make our day a huge success, such as photograph slides during certain dances and fun bridal party introductions. One of our favorite moments (and a favorite for many guests as we found out) was the video Ryan played before we entered the reception. It was a video taken of interviews of us from a few months prior to the wedding where we each talked about the other; how we met, the proposal, what we love about each other. Everyone had a great time and we cannot thank Engaged Entertainment enough for its role in making our wedding what it was. Ryan isn't just a DJ. He went above and beyond to make sure the flow of our ceremony and reception was perfect! The time he took to skype with us (out of town), prepare our love story video/slideshow, and create the perfect day was more than we could've asked for! That day/night went without a hitch because of him. Thank you Ryan for all your hard work before and during our wedding!

Ryan was invested in our wedding day from the first day we met him. We had called around to other DJ's and no one came close to Ryan's preparation and dedication to get the exact wedding we wanted. He listened, he gave suggestions, and made our wedding planning stress-free. The ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception music were handled beautifully and he did everything that we asked. He was there every step of the way, making sure we were on schedule, checking in with us throughout the evening. Of all the weddings I've been to, I've never seen a full dance floor from start to finish until our wedding. Ryan is THAT good! The photobooth was incredible, and guest kept lining up to get in. Ryan and Engaged Entertainment are worth every penny (and then some!) We highly recommend choosing Engaged Entertainment to make your wedding day memorable and so much fun! Thank you again, Ryan!

We were referred to Ryan with Engaged Entertainment by a friend. I'm not gonna lie it was very nerve wrecking choosing a DJ. When we met with Ryan for the first time all the worries we had were pushed aside and we booked him immediately! He went above and beyond our expectations. It's been almost two weeks since our wedding, and our guests are still gushing about the amazing job he did! As far as pricing, we found him to be very fair and affordable as he worked out a custom package fit for our needs. We also got a photo booth and we did a "love story" introduction which turned out SO AMAZING! I could go on and on about him but long story short, I HIGHLY recommend Engaged Entertainment for your next event!!!!

Ryan was absolutely amazing! He helped us plan every detail of our ceremony! In the day of the wedding our outdoor ceremony had to be moved inside, Ryan was very flexible and accommodating with the last minute change! We also chose to have a photo booth which was a huge hit with all of our guests, the personalized photo book from photo booth was a nice touch! I would highly recommend Ryan!

DJ Ryan DeLap came VERY highly recommended by Matt Batschelet, the general manager of the West Branch Angler and Resort, our wedding venue. Ryan was amazing to work with! He went the extra mile to get to know us via Skype meetings prior to the wedding and understand what type of event we were hoping to create (a really rocking party!). His website was incredibly easy to use and allowed us to communicate with him about what kind of music were were interested in via "Must Play", "Please Play" and "DO NOT PLAY" lists we created. He worked with us to organize our ceremony music, cocktail hour music, epic grand entrance (complete with photo slideshow and little blurbs we wrote about each member of our bridal party), first dance (with photo slideshow) and parent's dances (with photo slideshow). He provided invaluable suggestions and ideas about how exactly to structure the overall flow of our evening to help us achieve what we were looking for. The night of our wedding, the dance floor was always full! Ryan struck the perfect balance of playing our requested songs, keeping the dance floor going and being an amazing "Master of Ceremonies". We did a lot of planning prior to the wedding, but then did not have a single thing to worry about the night of! We were able to enjoy our guests and each other. Ryan was a huge part of making our wedding an amazing success and one of the best days of our lives!

Ryan is incredible! He runs your entire night and he offers so many games and fun ways to make your reception memorable! What my husband and I loved the most about Ryan was that he met with us multiple times after we hired him to get to know us and our tastes. It was an amazing experience working with him! One thing I highly recommend for any couple is the Love Story. My husband wanted to do it and I was very hesitant. I was afraid it would be too sappy and I'm not a sappy person. The first time we saw our Love Story was at the reception with all of our guests and it was amazing! Because Ryan got to know us as individuals and as a couple, he knew how to edit our Love Story to fit us perfectly. I'm in love with our Love Story and it's something I will treasure forever.

I would highly recommend Ryan for any event you may want a DJ for! He is absolutely wonderful to work with - very professional, responsive and kind! His wife Jen helped work the photo booth at our event and she is just the sweetest! We all had a great time at our Annual Holiday Party, the photo booth addition was a big hit! Ryan was incredible! He was so thorough with us throughout the whole process, and made sure that every last detail was taken care of. We had a pretty decent sized wedding, and people kept coming up to us all night saying that it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and Ryan was a very big reason behind that. He brings the party to life, and makes it something special that you will honestly remember forever. There were even people who we thought never in a million years would dance, but they were on the dance floor all night long because of the friendly and open environment that Ryan created. He is fun and creative, and will put on the most unique wedding experience for you in the best possible way. If you are considering booking him, do it now because I promise you, you will not regret it.

Ryan is the sole reason why my wedding celebration was so much fun, joy, and seamless. During prep work leading up to the wedding, Ryan made sure that we met (via skype) regularly to make sure that everything was clear and we were on the same page. He is so easy to work with and as a bonus is hilarious. It is very obvious that he loves his work and wants to make sure that the wedding experience is as best as it can be.
On the actual day of the wedding, he created such a fun environment and throughout the entire night, my guests continually came up to me to tell me that they LOVED the DJ and that not once did it feel like the night was dragging on.
At first, my husband and I were thinking that a DJ is a place where we can save money and just have a friend do it but we would have regretted that and are BEYOND thankful for Ryan. And as a bonus, Ryan is very affordable compared to other DJs.

Ryan was unreal!! The entire event was planned perfectly and although everyone says "something will inevitably go wrong on your wedding day..." Not with Ryan! Everyone loved his song selection, his presentation, his photo booth, up-lighting was spectacular with our venue and just perfect. I have been to so many weddings in the last several years and I must say, Ryan is probably the most innovative and creative DJ that I have encountered. People were engaged from beginning to end and had a great time. It also helped that the food and venue were just as great.
Major Plus** The texting during the reception. Super creative and kept everyone engaged during slow times, highly recommended! Photo Booth was great! Majority of weddings have them now, but Ryan's Booth was just better because it was not a hard shell Booth where you can only fit a few people in at a time, I think at one time we fit the entire wedding party into the Booth for a picture (12 people).
Super Plus** Ryan was so good at coordinating with the other hired specialists (Venue staff, cake maker, photographer, etc.) This was great because everyone was on the same page and went off with no issues whatsoever. 1000% professional and just made everything so easy on us throughout the entire process.
And finally
Super Duper Plus** Ryan's ability and flexibility through the entire planning stage. This was the area where I was the most impressed with Ryan. There were times where we could not meet, had to change certain aspects of our planning and Ryan was FLAWLESS in accommodating our needs. A++++ and I would highly recommend using Ryan and Engaged Entertainment, not only for weddings and big events but any special occasion that you have coming up! You will not be disappointed and are guaranteed to have a wonderful time.

We are so glad we chose Ryan as our "Master of Ceremonies" on our big day. We spoke and met multiple times before the wedding to talk through details, and Ryan was very professional and knowledgeable. It was clear that he had performed many other events and makes it a point to provide a high level of service. Ryan was also incredibly flexible, both in the planning beforehand and during the wedding day itself. Due to complications with weather, our timeline for the day was shifted a great deal. However, Ryan adapted his schedule and timelines continuously to fit what we needed. It was truly wonderful to be able to count on him to keep things running smoothly, and we had complete peace of mind throughout the wedding that everything was going as we had hoped. Ryan did a wonderful job reading the crowd and putting out a playlist that kept people dancing. We had an absolutely amazing day, and it was in large part thanks to him. We highly recommend Engaged Entertainment to all prospective couples!

We are overwhelmingly happy with the service provided by Ryan Delap and Engaged Entertainment. From start to finish, initial consultation to final song, we wouldn't change a single thing about our reception! We felt well-informed throughout the planning process and during the event itself, and confident that Ryan knew what he was doing - we don't think we could have asked for better service than we received. We wanted everyone to have a good time, and the reception met that mood and elevated it FAR beyond expectations. We legitimately haven't heard a single complaint about the flow of the reception, the atmosphere of the reception, the music or lighting, all of which we felt like we created together with Ryan orchestrating it all to meet our individual preferences. Overall, and moreover, we felt like Ryan CARED about making our day incredible...and he did. We'll never forget him, and couldn't recommend him highly enough.

So many people at our wedding said this was the best DJ they had ever seen at a wedding. Our photographer has done lots of weddings and he said this DJ far surpassed others he had worked with.

Not only did he help us when we had no clue where to start but he even helped us stay on track when our sales catering manager made mistakes. He was always flexible, timely, and charming. A lot of our friends and family have told us that this was the most fun wedding they'd ever attended. This is due, in large part, to Ryan and engaged entertainment. We spoke with Ryan a number of times in the year leading up to our wedding and he had great ideas on how to make the ceremony and reception fun and memorable. He got to know us as a couple and really worked to help put together a wonderful day that reflected us and our story. We just can't say enough good things about Ryan!

Ryan is beyond just a master of ceremonies. He genuinely takes the time to get to know you not only as a couple but as an individual as well to make sure what he puts out for your wedding is exactly what YOU want. Our guests have commented on many things that really helped make our wedding reception spectacular and this was all thanks to Ryan.
Ryan is full of great ideas and he has such a wide range of musical knowledge. He also gives great direction at the reception (tells the wedding party where to stand, lets you know throughout the night what is coming up-garter toss, dollar dance, etc,). He is also extremely flexible and will meet with you just about anywhere, anytime, even if last minute.
We 100% would recommend Ryan for any event. You are MISSING OUT if you do not choose him.

Working with Ryan from Engaged Entertainment made our Wedding Day more than we could have ever asked for. He helped with every detail and did so much more than we ever could have imagined. He was always able to work his schedule around ours for meetings and was constantly helping to give us suggestions in areas we were struggling with during the planning process. He helped with music for our ceremony, with fun introductions, played unique games to keep our guests entertained prior to dinner, all of our dances, had amazing up lighting going with the beats of the music, created a monogram for us with our names that was displayed on the dance floor, and so much more. Ryan also had TV screens that had pictures with all of our family and friends playing throughout the reception. He is truly a Master of Ceremonies and deserves that Master title with all that he does to help make your day amazing. It has been a week now and our friends and family are still texting and calling us telling us how much of a great time they had on our special day and we owe a huge part of that to Ryan. There is no one better to choose! He is amazing and we will definitely be keeping in contact with him for years to come.

Ryan was a true professional. Very organized and detail oriented. He listened to what we wanted and in return, we listened to his great recommendations. I highly recommend just asking him to be your Emcee at your event. Give him the controls and let the fun begin!!! My guests are still talking about how much fun he made the event!!! He was awesome!!! I was immediately impressed with Ryan from Engaged Entertainment from the very first meeting. He was organized, listened to our ideas, shared in our enthusiasm and provided excellent guidance throughout the planning process. He was on board 100% when we let him know our first song was not typical wedding dance and was choreographed. He helped me in surprising my Aunt and Uncle with a special moment acknowledging their 51st wedding anniversary at our reception. He knows how to build the dance floor, keep the enthusiasm of the crowd and the events timed out perfectly. My reception was perfect and I owe it to Ryan. My guests are still raving about his talent.

Ryan was an amazing vendor to work with! He was extremely organized and met with My husband and I multiple times to make sure our reception was exactly what we wanted. He was there to guide us through the process of planning our day, providing us with advice when we needed it and being flexible with fitting in aspects that we knew we wanted to make our reception special ( even if we were adding things 48 hours before) Our reception went flawless because of Ryan and it was everything we wanted. Thank you Ryan!

Not only was he an amazing, DJ that kept our guests well engaged and entertained, Ryan was also an amazing master of ceremonies and helped us to make our day the best it could be in so many ways. We received so many complements about him from his song choices and equipment to his introductions and the love story he setup for us. We highly reccomend Engaged Entertainment for any event. Ryan made t very easy for us to be relaxed come wedding time and to make our goal of having an unforgettable wedding possible.
