Jason and Darnell are THE BEST there is in the DJ Industry! Jason and Darnell traveled 5 hours for our event. We had a complete blast on our wedding day. EEG took care of all the sound details during our ceremony. They also were the GREATEST hosts during our reception and not to mention the perfect lighting. The photo booth with instant prints was a HUGE hit! SO MUCH FUN! Zach and I have received SO many comments from guests at our wedding that it was the best/most fun wedding they have ever been to with specific regards to the DJ's! From the very first planning call with Jason to the final moments of our wedding day with Darnell, the Energy Event Group team was nothing short of spectacular. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience that blends high-energy entertainment, flawless coordination, and heart-pounding fun — this is the team to make it happen. In fact, Darnell DJ’d my two older sisters’ weddings with Energy Event Group and 11 years ago I had said I would one day have EEG, so I knew from experience we were in the best hands. Don’t look anywhere else!!
We attended another wedding where EEG was the DJ, and we knew that we didn’t even need to bother looking anywhere else. From the very first phone call, Jason was extremely organized, energetic, and paid genuine attention to every detail we wanted for our day. He had us complete a detailed planning form that allowed us all to have open & clear communication about expectations. Most importantly, when it came to the day of, he showed up early, got everything set up, and when the time was right, he got the party started. We added another hour to his time, and we are so grateful we did. He kept the dance floor full until the very end and made us feel like true VIPs on the most important night of our lives. Amazing Energy
We had the absolute best experience with Darnell at our wedding! From the very beginning, he were professional, easy to communicate with, and genuinely cared about making our night perfect. The music was spot on, he kept the dance floor packed all night and knew exactly how to read the crowd. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Jason, and he was incredible from start to finish! The best dj
AMAZING! That is the only way we can describe Jason's work with EEG. We literally couldn't have done it without him! He is more than "just a DJ". He kept our ceremony and reception moving on time and seamless, kept our guests entertained during cocktail hour, (helped us with the best introductions) kept guests engaged during dinner and then through the night! When I think back to our dance there was not a moment someone wasn't dancing! He is one of those DJ's that make it hard to leave the floor because he just keeps it going and reads the crowd!!

Best day ever
Jason was absolutely amazing from the time I booked with him, to the wedding day. He answered any questions I had and offered a ton of good ideas. It is clear there is a reason people say he’s the best, because he is! He kept our guests entertained the entire time and his over all calm demeanor made it very easy to trust him. I am very much so a “I’ll do it myself” person, so it’s challenging for me to trust that someone is going to do something to the standards I would, but Jason exceeded my expectations! I cannot recommend him and Energy Events Group enough. I also highly, highly recommend doing cold sparks and dancing on a cloud for your first dance. It was the most magical thing we have ever experienced. Thank you EEG for helping us create the best night of our lives!!

The best in the business!
Jason is truly THE BEST in the business!! We booked him for our wedding knowing that he was good, but he went above and beyond to make our day perfect. I’m not exaggerating when I say everyone who has complimented our wedding has commented on how AMAZING he was and how fun the party was because of him! His fun energy even had non-dancers tearing up the dance floor all night and loving it!!
After finding out one of our guests had recently gotten married, Jason made sure to play their first dance song for them. He customized the party to the guests and made it fun for everyone. We especially knew every penny that we spent was worth it, when Jason posted a reel of the first look with my dad and our first look as husband and wife. We weren’t able to get a videographer, but this video was everything we could’ve ever wanted and just another example of how Jason is more than just a DJ.

The BEST Entertainment!
Jason with Energy Event Group was hands down the best entertainer! He was so easy to work with and never let us feel stressed out during the planning process. He kept in touch with us and gave us so many ideas to make our big day even better than we could’ve imagined. Our ceremony was unforgettable and Jason played a huge part in that. From the song choices, to the smooth transitions, he absolutely nailed it. Our dance was simply incredible. The energy was so high all night long and it was all thanks to Jason. I cannot express enough how AMAZING Jason was to work with. The way he worked with us and adapted to how we wanted our reception was spectacular. He answered all of our questions along the way. He kept the night moving smoothly. He accommodated to additional speeches during our reception that were last minute. He kept everyone on the dance floor moving, song selection was on point, never a dull moment with Jason. We’ve had so many compliments even a week after our reception about how amazing Jason was! We could not have had the best night without Jason there that is for sure. Jason was so amazing to work with, I cannot recommend him enough! Pre-wedding he was timely with all communication and assisted with planning and helpful reminders so our day would go smoothly. He set up all of our ceremony sound system and made sure our officiant and speakers knew exactly what they were doing. Jason then made our wedding reception SO MUCH FUN! He kept dinner, special dances, and speeches on the timeline. He engaged our entire crowd during the dance. Jason was excellent to work with and he made our wedding day extremely fun and memorable!

Everything Exceeded our Expectations!
I would give Jason 5 thousand stars if I could! We are truly so grateful for Jason and Energy Event Group for making our wedding SUCH a fun night! The music selection was spot on, the transitions were seamless (I literally stopped my parents while walking down the aisle to tell them "wow that was a perfect transition between ceremony songs), and the energy was high all night!
From planning to the wedding day, Jason always made us feel completely at ease. He called us several times throughout our engagement to get to know us and guide us through the process. He was so accommodating with special requests to customize our day to be unique to us. He is so knowledgeable and my best advice is to just trust him. :) Seriously, he knows what he is doing!
We received SO many compliments from our friends and family about how much they enjoyed the music, special moments, and the overall atmosphere. I even had a bridesmaid say that the dinner music was amazing and that she's never even noticed dinner music before at other weddings. So many people told us that they usually don't dance at weddings but ours was just too fun to stay seated! It was so special for us to look around the dance floor and see all of our loved ones having such a great time. After the wedding, we had so much fun talking about how we even had guests dancing that we thought for sure wouldn't step foot on the dance floor!
We seriously had the best day and there were so many moments that we told each other about how impressed we were with Jason. He is so creative and just a pro at what he does. He made our day even more special, memorable, and seamless. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ and we are endlessly grateful. :)

I just wanted to start off by saying Jason is the absolute best.
When we were searching for our DJ in the beginning of our wedding planning, the second we got off the phone with Jason we knew he was going to be the one we wanted. We got married May 3rd and got so many compliments from family and friends that Jason was a blast! He keeps the wedding day alive. He captured some special moments for us and also just made it overall the best experience for our wedding. We couldn’t have picked any one better. Anyone that is having a hard time deciding on a DJ without a doubt, go through Jason.

We have known Jason for years and have attended many of weddings that he has been apart of. We have the most fun when he has been the DJ and MC - we get disappointed if he isn’t at the wedding we are attending 😉
This being said, it didn’t take much thinking once we got engaged to know Jason was our guy. He was GREAT from the beginning of our planning process. Jason has gone above and beyond for us. Throughout planning a wedding, you make many decisions months out from the big day and never hear from those people and businesses again until the month or week of the wedding to confirm the details. With Jason as your wedding DJ, this will not be the case. You will book Jason as your DJ and he will become way more than just your wedding DJ, he will become a friend. He will call and text to meet with you and your spouse to get to know you better. He will sit with you on many calls and listen to what you truly want for your big day. He will not interrupt, he will listen fully and make your dreams come to life. He will interact with you on social media and show that he wants to know you deeper than just being another client. Jason is knowledgeable about the wedding business and he will help your day and ideas come to life. Not only will you have the best experience with Jason, but you will have the best night of your life with him as your wedding DJ. We got married in July, and still to this day in December, we have friend's and family that still talk about how epic our wedding dance was. We now even have friends that will have him as their wedding DJ per an amazing experience at our own wedding. Absolutely Amazing!
I don't know where to begin with Jason at EEG! He was absolutely incredible to work with! He was able to take all of our ideas and different tastes in music and make the best day of our lives one that we will never forget!
Jason helped my husband and mother-in-law create a fun mash up mother-son dance, as well as helped us with our slideshows that we played for cocktail hour and my family dance (honoring my dad who has passed). He was so great about it all and so willing to help!
He also surprised us by bringing cold spark machines for our first dance, and that was not only so kind but SO awesome to see in pictures and videos as well. He also brought out light up foam sticks that were a crowd hit!
At one point, he even helped out with lighting candles and was truly apart of the whole day. Not once was there a complaint - he was more than willing to help move things along to make the evening smoother.
We would HIGHLY recommend EEG, and even better Jason if you are able to work with him! He's not just DJ/MC - he is an entertainer! He made magical moments in our wedding that lots of guests usually miss, but didn't thanks to his amazing talent and effort! We can't wait to party with him again someday!

Jason Yoshino with Energy Event Group was AWESOME, to say the least. He was so professional and organized leading up to to the wedding and always made us feel heard and respected. He was so good about keeping out needs first throughout the planning process. On the day of, he was energetic, fun, and really knew how to keep the dance floor packed!! Seriously. If you want a crowded dance floor and happy wedding guests, EEG is the way to go. You won't be disappointed! Make sure you spring for the photo booth. Many people said it was a highlight of the night for them. It's a fun way to bring out the silly side in your guests while also making memories and giving them something to take home to remember from the night. I would rate my entire experience with Jason and EEG an 11 out of 10! Very satisfied!

Jason, with Energy Event Group, was absolutely amazing. He knows how to help throw one heck of a party. Not only is he a DJ, but he also emcees throughout the wedding reception. He truly gets to know each and every one of his couples and their back stories. He gave great ideas for the wedding and ALWAYS respected my opinion. I never felt pressured into having a certain music order or schedule for the night. Jason has a very upbeat personality and is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. The BEST DJ that gave us a night to remember and an overflowing dance floor!
Having Energy Event Group as a part of our wedding day was one of the best decisions that we made! We had Jason join us for our big day and he sure brought the energy! We had been to a previous wedding of his and had SO MUCH FUN that we knew he had to be a part of our day as well!
During our first Facetime meeting, after talking we left the conversation feeling like we had known him for years! He is so easy to get along with and knows how to put the couple 100% first! We met a few times throughout the year to make sure we stayed on track and coordinated everything correctly.
On the wedding day, DJs make or break the vibe of the night and our dance floor was overflowing throughout the entire night. He was super interactive and played all the right songs that kept the dance floor busy! He had fun games that kept all of our guests busy and never made them feel like they were waiting for the next thing. He brought the energy, the fun, great lighting, great planning, and made our wedding a day that we will never forget!

Jason at EEG was recommended to me and boy, am I so glad he was! I hired Jason to be our DJ and to do the uplighting at our venue. He was extremely organized and kept in touch with us regularly to make sure we were comfortable with the planning process. I got married in a hotel and I wanted to do everything I could to make sure it didnt look like a standard banquet hall - his uplighting helped A TON! It was beautiful! When our big day came, Jason was on the ball! He was a wonderful Master of Ceremonies, which is what we needed to keep the flow going! Now, to the "DJing" aspect - he was very interactive with our crowd - he went ABOVE and beyond! Our dance floor was never empty! I highly recommend Energy Event Group!

Absolutely loved working with this team! Jason was very professional and great to work with in the months leading up to the wedding. About a week before the big day, we began working with our DJ, Darnell. Wow! This guy is amazing! We could not be happier with how our evening went! Darnell was amazing! He brought spectacular energy to our reception that literally kept the wedding dance going all night long! Would 11/10 recommend working with Darnell and the whole EEG team for any event! Even after almost a year I STILL have people talking about our DJ and how incredible he was! We were lucky enough to have Jason Yoshino from Energy Event Group at our wedding and he literally took care of everything! There were lots of details that I didn't think of, but Jason knew exactly what was needed and the perfect timing for it. He worked effortlessly with all of our vendors and kept the party alive and raging until the very last song! I have been to several weddings that hired Energy Event Group, and I am so glad I did too! Jason did our ceremony and our wedding dance. He was very professional and organized. He knows how to read a room, and get people to stay on the dance floor. My wedding was smaller than anticipated, but it didn’t feel like it because nearly everyone was on the dance floor! Jason made the process so easy for us, I felt like we had to do nothing except tell him our must plays and the whole night went so smooth with no effort from us! We had an incredible experience with Jason of EEG. He provided top of the line entertainment services for our special day. Jason provided our ceremony audio and music and was our host and DJ for our reception and dance. He worked seamlessly with our team of vendors to provide an absolute perfect day for us. We received so many compliments on how FUN our wedding and dance was. Jason kept our dance floor full until the very end! I appreciated how communicative Jason was through the planning process with frequent check ins and even extra calls during some of the unknowns of the Covid era. As a South Dakota native, I’ve had the pleasure of attending several of Jason’s weddings through the years. Energy Event Group did not disappoint! We could not have asked for better entertainment services for our wedding! Jason did such a wonderful job helping us plan our special day. I enjoyed how energenic and personable Jason was, which made planning less stressful on our end! It was nice being provided with a list of events to help things run smoothly, which they did. Not only did he add in our all time favorite songs, but he had awesome suggestions when we needed a little push. Jason was our DJ and he was absolutely incredible. We were planning a wedding from a different state and he still made it seem very personalized and called us frequently to make sure we didn't have any questions and felt comfortable about our wedding entertainment. Planning a wedding or any event can be stressful, but he took the stress right out of it for us and handled all of the heavy work. During the ceremony he made sure to keep everybody involved and the energy up! Don't forget to purchase the package with the lights because there's nothing more fun than colorful lights and smiles on your wedding day. Jason was amazing and easy to work with! I didn’t know what to expect from a DJ let alone how to plan a wedding! When Jason sent us home with homework and we only completed some of it, he was such a great sport with helping us figure out the rest. Jason was so helpful! We went in not being prepared or knowing what we wanted, but Jason was so great! When looking into hiring a DJ for our wedding I did what almost every bride does, ask her friends! I had so many friends who instantly recommended Jason and EEG! Knowing entertainment is so important I planned our date around his availability. To this day my family and friends still talk about how much fun the reception was. Energy Event Group exceeded our expectations for our wedding reception!
All night Jason made sure we had whatever we needed/wanted. He made us feel special and really kept the party going until the end of the night! We received so many compliments on how good EEG was and I still have people asking me who our DJ was!

This company did amazing! They went above and behind to add a special touch with my father daughter dance; the dance was fantastic and uplighting added a special touch, alone with the fun glow sticks.

Jason was amazing, he went above and beyond to make our day perfect. He coordinated so well with my photographer and Pastor. I even got asked if he knew my photographer beforehand because they worked so great together. My response was no he is just that good! :) He will keep your entire night running smoothly from ceremony to end of wedding. I got a lot of compliments how everyone knew what was going on throughout the night during the cake cutting, first dances, and toasts. He made sure he had everyone's attention for all the special moments of our day. We also did up lighting which added so much to our reception and it was beautiful. Jason is quick to respond to any messages and checks in with you periodically with your planning. I could seriously go on and on about how great EEG is!

Not even a blizzard can stop Energy Event Group!
Jason was amazing to work with! He went above and beyond to make our day so special. The day of our wedding we had some serious winter weather, and Jason dealt with everything from no power to frozen gates at his office, and he STILL managed to make our reception incredibly beautiful without anyone even knowing the struggles! Myself and all our guests were on the dance floor all night! It was a blast, and truly the best day of our lives thanks to Jason and Energy Event Group! I can't express enough how highly myself and my husband would recommend them!

Jason & the team from EEG were completely amazing!! I gave him a call right away after we got engaged because I wanted to know his open days. I had been to past weddings he did and was blown away by the way he got everyone involved. He is so incredibly organized and paid attention to every little detail from the planning process to the actual day of our wedding. To this day people still mention to us how much fun they had and Jason definitely played a big part in that.

When my wife and I got engaged we started discussing vendors. When it came time to discuss the DJ I told her there was one guy I wanted to go with and that was Jason Yoshino and his company Energy Event Group! Jason knows how to get your reception started and makes sure you and your guest are entertained the entire night! Jason makes sure that the entire evening runs smoothly and that you and your significant other are stress-free! Besides our wedding, I have been to several friend's weddings where Jason was the DJ and he has never disappointed! The best part is that Jason makes sure each wedding is unique in its own special way! If you hire Jason and his company for your wedding you will not be disappointed.

Look no further! Jason and his team at EEG are THEE BEST in the wedding industry! Hands down! Not only does he put on a phenomenal dance/party... he handles everything in between! We had a very unfortunate experience with the caterer at our wedding. They were an hour and a half late and "forgot" several food/dry good items for our dinner. Jason handled it all- like a BOSS. He made sure things kept flowing smoothly, changed the order of speeches so that our guests were still entertained while waiting for dinner, talked with our guests to make sure everyone was happy, stayed in contact with the catering staff to make sure they were getting on track (ran back & forth to the kitchen!), and even offered to order food from wherever my parents wanted since the caterers thought they were going to run out! Talk about going ABOVE & BEYOND for your customer! Not only did he handle the entire night and turn it from a disaster into an amazingly FUN time... he threw in an amazing surprise for our first dance! Their exciting, new lumiblasts! It was an incredible surprise and thoughtful gesture that he wouldn't have had to do!
We booked all of EEG's services (except for the surprise!): the ultimate DJ entertainment & uplighting/monogram package, videographer, photo booth, and reception photo package. As I had expected, we were extremely pleased with everything! We had a blast with the videographer, Darrian all day & night! Super easy to work with and he makes you feel comfortable while he is filming! The uplighting & monogram were beautiful, the personalized background for the photo booth was awesome, and our guests loved the fun! The dance floor was packed all night long! We all had an absolute blast!!
From the time you have Jason/EEG start, to the end of your night... you truly don't have a thing to worry about! They handle it all... and professionally! WORTH EVERY PENNY and then some!

We have been to many weddings that EEG DJ'd at and knew we had to have them for our own wedding! Everyone was dancing and having a great time, even those who generally do not dance. They also did the music for our ceremony and it went seamlessly. Jason makes you feel so comfortable and at ease about everything. Be sure to get the glow necklaces and foam lights to make your dance that much more fun! They went above and beyond! Jason even brought my husband and I drinks as we were finishing up our sunset pictures.

Jason and his team were amazing to work with! Any question or concern we had was always addressed right away. They were always one step ahead of us through the planning process and on our wedding day. Energy Event Group made our day fun, not only for us, but our family and friends who were in attendance. One aspect that we loved about EEG was that they truly care about making your day the absolute best including singing Happy Birthday to the our niece and nephew. In addition to our wonderful dj experience, we also had a phenomenal experience with EEG’s videographer, Darian. He was there at the start of our wedding day, and captured all of the special moments! Lastly, EEG goes above and beyond! At the end of the night, they even assisted our parents in cleaning up the venue. EEG did so many things through the planning process and on our wedding day that were not within their job description, which is a true testament to the people at EEG. They not only made our day fun, stress-free, but most importantly, unforgettable & for that we are truly grateful!

My husband and I would choose to use Energy Event Group again if we had to do it all over! This was one of the best decisions that we made while planning our wedding. We knew we wanted to have the best entertainment and after getting many recommendations from friends, we realized that we needed to go with Jason and his team. They did SO much for us on our wedding day, even apart from just providing entertainment. Our day was exceptional because of this team.

Working with Jason and Energy Event Group was a great experience. I am the type of person that needs to know how everything works for every little thing. I had to put my trust in them, and I was not disappointed in the slightest. They exceeded my expectations. We had certain things we wanted for our reception and Jason made them happen. They gave us awesome ideas for the things we were unsure of. They treated our family and friends like they were their own family and friends. Our reception was everything we imagined and more. Jason had great surprises all through the night! We love hearing our family and friends rave about how much fun they had at our reception!! Jason was incredible to work with from the very beginning. Any question we had he was quick to respond to. He was also very flexible with meeting with us as we lived out town and was willing to meet on nights and weekends.
He really helped put together the best timeline for our wedding group size. He got everyone on the dance floor throughout the whole night including my 89 year old grandfather. This is a memory I will never forget and am truly grateful to have.
Not only did he play great songs that got every age group involved he also had several different activities/events that kept everyone engaged and entertained.
We also went with Energy Event Group's photo booth instead of doing a traditional signed guest book. We wanted to have pictures for memories instead of just signatures and we couldn't be more pleased. Everyone took part in the photo booth and had such a fun time with all the different props Jason and Darian brought.
We can't say thank you enough for everything they did to make our wedding perfect!
Tip: Book them for your wedding or next event!! You will be so happy you did.

We used EEG for our DJ and Videographer. We got Jason for our DJ and he was absolutely amazing - every promise made, was kept! He kept the day rolling and the reception flowed so smoothly. My fiancé (now husband) was determined he would not dance and he danced the whole night! Everyone seemed to have a great time! The foam glow sticks were a huge hit. He kept the floor going all night long which I loved! He honored all of our wishes of opting out of the traditional garter auction, dollar dance, etcetera. I loved that he had us end our night with our first dance song surrounded by everyone. The night goes sooo fast and it was nice to have that moment to reflect on the reason for the celebration! EEG is absolutely amazing!! I'd highly recommend!
We have seen a short section from the Videography work which was done by Damian of EEG the day of our wedding. We both decided that this was something important to us. We are so grateful we did it as the day flies by and this we will always have. As the Bride, I missed everyone walking up the aisle and I'm so glad I will get to see this! Damian worked very well with our photographer too and they were able to both get the shots they wanted. EEG was awesome all around!!

We first encountered Jason Yoshino at a good friend's wedding before we were engaged. He did such a fantastic job, I asked him for his card. The day after we got engaged, I called Jason to see which dates he had available. I actually planned my wedding date around him, I knew the importance of having an awesome DJ. We were so happy with the job that Jason did at our wedding. I had multiple family members come up to me or message me afterwards saying it was the best wedding dance they had ever been to and I know that was because we had hired the best. The dance floor was packed all night long, and the music selection kept people on the dance floor. Jason is more than just a DJ, he is an emcee for your evening. He keeps things flowing and really sets the tone for a great celebration. Something really special that I want to mention is that Jason helped my dad surprise me with a recording of him singing our father-daughter dance. It was one of the most touching moments of my life, and it wouldn't have even been a possibility if we would have had anyone else as our DJ. Jason also had his crew member Darian who really kept the party going! He took pictures of our dance and created a special video clip that showed the highlights of our night. Their attention to detail makes them stand out from the rest.
