We cannot say enough good things about Yvonne and her team decorating for our wedding. She was very responsive to any question we had. The space was decorated absolutely beautifully. We have received so many compliments about Yvonne's work with the draping, head table back drop, and centerpieces. Two for two--Still amazing!
In 2019 I hired Encore Events for my daughter's wedding decor. We were having the reception in a church gym, and Yvonne transformed that space into something MAGICAL! (Check the Google Review that begins with "Very rarely will I give "5 stars" on everything, because I think it doesn't look as "real", but honestly, I can't think of any area deserving less!")
Fast forward 4 years, and I had another wedding reception to host (and one which was thrust on me on short notice), and I was thrilled to find Encore Events again. (So many vendors went out of business because of the pandemic.) She was as responsive, helpful and creative as I remembered, and took my fractured vision and filled in the gaps to make it amazing (while easing my stress all the while). We were in a tent in my backyard, and her suggestions and expertise made it amazing.
Yvonne is a pro. She knows her stuff. While her service and superpower is the decor, I also received valuable advice and consulting when I suffered paralysis of analysis. If my youngest marries in Minnesota, I WILL be calling Encore again! Yes, I gave 5 stars for everything, and I can't imagine giving less.
Whether you are a DIY-er, or you need full service, Yvonne will take great care of you.

High quality, easy communication
She was amazing to work with. The backdrop was exactly what I asked for. Easy to work with, LOTS and lots of options. Great Experience
We were having a smaller wedding at a golf club. They were more then helpful to provide as much or as little as we needed. They set up with plenty of time for us to get in to the venue and finish things off that we wanted personal touches on. Very helpful, did a fantastic job with the décor and was very easy to work with.

Encore Events has a large assortment of décor options and was willing to let me come to the place of business to review her inventory. I had a certain look in mind so I was very picky. I ended up purchasing some of my own décor and rented the remainder from Encore. I felt that Yvonne was very responsive and gave good recommendations. She is very willing to help you stay within a budget if needed. Yvonne was there the day before to set up and then very prompt to come back and tear down. She is flexible and will work within your timeframe.

Yvonne was exceptional when it came to figuring out our vision for me and my now husband's wedding! We used Encore Events for tablecloths, table runners, chair covers, and chair bows. After contacting Encore, Yvonne responded very quickly and communication was great. We met at her location and she had many examples to show us and ideas so we were able to make the best decision possible. There was no fuss or inconvenience when she arrived at the venue for setup. Friendly and Professional Wedding Decorator
I was able to meet the manager in-person over a year ago and plan out all of the decorations we wanted based off of a photo we brought in for very reasonable rates. We were able to make changes as our guest count fluctuated and she was very accommodating. On the day of, she was able to teach my family members exactly how to do our part of the work and provide cleanup instructions. I recommend Encore Events for small or large venues.

Great Customer Service
We had an outdoor wedding at the Gardens of Castle Rock, which has a big tent. I was looking for someone to come in and add white draping to the ceiling and poles and 2 chandeliers. Encore Events was one of the vendors recommended by the venue and when I emailed them about pricing she informed me that another bride was wanting a similar look the day after our wedding and asked if we wanted to split the costs, which saved us hundreds of dollars! She was very professional and responsive and the tent looked amazing!

We hired Encore Events for ceremony coordination, the head table backdrop, & display table linens at our wedding. It was the best decision we made, and I can’t say enough good things about Yvonne. She’s very responsive and shows a passion for weddings.
With some things (the backdrop), I had no idea what I wanted - she had ideas and examples to show me. With other things (the ceremony), I knew exactly what I wanted, and she executed it perfectly. There were so many things going on at once, and it all made sense to Yvonne. She helped solve problems I never knew existed. I’m so happy we hired this business.

Yvonne was wonderful to work with. She listened to what my daughter (the bride) envisioned then made it happen. She brought up ideas and issues we hadn’t thought of. She responded to questions promptly and showed up on time—even on the January wedding day when the temperature outside was zero. We worked with Yvonne at Encore Events for all of our linen needs and everything went seamlessly. She even was able to adjust our linen needs a few days prior to the event due to weather and no longer needing outdoor linens. Our first meeting with Yvonne went great. She had many superb ideas, and communication with her was always a breeze. I changed my mind multiple times before the wedding and she was always kind and flexible sending me updated invoices. The week of the big event I wanted to get a hold of the centerpieces she was bringing so I could set them up, but she informed me she wouldn't be arriving until the day of at 5 AM because she was flying in from Alaska. However, Yvonne gave me a call and told me she was confident and had no worries. The big day finally arrived and Yvonne was there, setting everything up. It all looked beautiful and I am so grateful that we went with her and everything turned out great!

We used Encore Events for our ceiling drapery and drapery to cover one of our windows and used one of the table covers for our cake table. We had no worries at all from the moment we met with Yvonne. She is very well knowledged and has absolutely everything you need when it comes to decorations!! We highly would recommend her as this was our 1 vendor we didn't have to worry about at all. She worked directly with the venue as well.

Very rarely will I give "5 stars" on everything, because I think it doesn't look as "real", but honestly, I can't think of any area deserving less!
Yvonne was AMAZING!
From conception to completion, she make sure we got exactly what we needed. She asked questions that I didn't think of, which solved problems we didn't know we would have had!
She took our vision and added her own expertise, which I really appreciated!
She was also very flexible when the size of our group changed dramatically, and we had to adjust our needs. She not only accommodated our changes, but continued to treat us like it was a pleasure to do so.
And for me, the measure of a great business is not only when things are good, but how they solve problems when things don't go according to plan. We had a small snafu, and Yvone handled it with grace and professionalism.

Yvonne with Encore Events was an angel sent to us from heaven. She used her amazing talents to transform our venue with her lighted backdrops, lighted ceiling draperies, chair covers, table runners, and her creativity. She was efficient and pliable with all our requests even adding some on the fly backdrops that we realized we needed the day she came to decorate. She was gracious, reasonable, and amazing to work with making the hall decorating stress free for us and look so easy yet sooooo beautiful. I've worked with Yvonne at Encore Events as both B to B professional in the event rental business as well as a client for my own wedding. I can say she is one of the best in the industry. She always takes the time to do things right and has a huge sense of pride in what she does. We had a wonderful experience with Encore Events. Yvonne was our event consultant for my daughter’s wedding last month and we were incredibly pleased with the décor Encore Events provided.
We first met with Yvonne last year for an initial consultation as my daughter wasn’t sure exactly what she had in mind for her head table draping/lighting and backdrop. After spending a few short minutes with Yvonne, we both had a high level of comfort and confidence that she was the one for the job. After my daughter explained what she was thinking of, Yvonne understood my daughter’s vision, offered great advice, and showed us ways we could save money. The head table and backdrop with the white and navy draping, lighting, and beautiful rhinestone connections accented the rest of their ballroom décor beautifully. The Bride & Groom were thrilled with the result and received many complements.

Yvonne did a wonderful job for our daughter's wedding in April, 2017. We chose a venue that she had never decorated before: Five Event Center. She did a great job looking at the space and suggesting ways to decorate the stairway and reception areas, always keeping in mind the colors and wishes of the bride and groom. The head table was lovely and lit up with a pretty backdrop of lights that were swagged up above the seating area. The event coordinator was very pleased with Yvonne's professionalism, how she set up everything quickly, had all of her own equipment, and tore down that evening after the reception and was totally out within the allowed hour post reception. Yvonne has a great array of colors for linens, table runners, centerpiece ideas, candles. It is one stop shopping! We couldn't have been more pleased, and her prices were very reasonable. The best advice i can give to a couple when picking this vendor is that don't try to do all the decorating yourself... Leave it up to a professional who can assist you and provide you options to fit within your needs and budget. Yvonne has so many great ideas, and styles to choose from. Plus, she is license, bonded and insured...making this less risky of doing it yourself and slipping and falling trying to set up your own decorations. She did a wonderful job at our wedding! Encore Events did a fabulous job! We had multiple comments about how wonderful everything looked. I was unable to see the decorations the day before and I was VERY happy with how things turned out, it was beyond what I had expected.

Yvonne is great! she had fabulous ideas for our son's wedding ceremony and decor for the reception, ideas we hadn't even thought of ourselves. She is professional, flexible, super friendly and energetic when it comes to party planning. We could not have done it without her. We recommend Encore Events to all of our friends and even the people who came to the wedding.

I was very pleased with everything she did, from drapings to chair covers, to centerpieces. She supplied everything and was very reasonable. She went above and beyond. I truly can't thank Yvonne enough because she made my wedding a stress free wedding. People have been asking me who did all of my decorations and I will be referring them to you. Thank you so much!

Yvonne is amazing! She is quick to respond and so fun to work with. It was really nice not having to worry about decorating the reception area and having to take it down. She does it all! The place looked BEAUTIFUL!

Yvonne was absolutely the best! I was in need of a decorator 1 1/2 months before my wedding due to a venue change. I found Yvonne's information online and she was absolutely wonderful. We didn't meet until the day of the wedding due to the distance however, we corresponded via email, sending pictures of my ideas and Yvonne sending pictures of different ideas and of her merchandise. She created an absolutely beautiful wedding for us and was so accommodating. Hands-down the best person to go with. Beautiful creations for an affordable price!

Yvonne was extremely easy to work with and actually cared about my feelings and the vision I had! She worked with me day in and day out and never made me feel like I was bothering her (even when I called her on the weekends!). Encore Events is by far the best quality for the absolute best price! I was completely amazed (I still get goosebumps) from the first time I saw everything put together at our wedding venue and I could not have done it with out Yvonne!
We STRONGLY recommend them to anyone looking to rent for a special event!

I would recommend Encore Events to anyone having a wedding. The one mistake that I made was not having Yvonne handle the entire wedding process. Instead I had different venders do different tasks. Thinking that I was saving money. However, my wedding would have been much more smoothly ran if Yvonne was totally in charge of it.
Just like every wedding, unexpected events happen. I had other venders who came to me with those events and stressed me out on my wedding day. Not Yvonne, she was able to have me and my mother feel reassured even during those unexpected events.
I am very impressed with Yvonne throughout the entire process-- from planning to the day of the wedding. She always gave me her time and was very thorough. Thank You!
