Excellent service!

Working with Jeff at Encore Events and Entertainment was great! He put our minds at ease with the process leading up to the wedding and made sure that we had everything squared away logistically so that the day itself went really smoothly. Jeff also did an excellent job of facilitating the evening and creating an atmosphere that encouraged people to get out on the dance floor. In fact, the dance floor was full the entire time! My wife and I would strongly encourage anyone looking for a wedding DJ to consider Encore Events and Entertainment!

Our daughter and her husband selected Encore Events & Entertainment to DJ their wedding on 9/2/18 at Arrowhead Golf Club in Littleton. Jeff Fernandez personally handled the event and did a fabulous job in providing music perfectly suited for the mixed group in attendance. He "read" the crowd extremely well and engaged everyone so there was never a lull in the energy, keeping the dance floor active and full all night long. What a wonderful celebration, thanks to Jeff!!!

Jeff was an awesome DJ at our wedding! Super flexible and easy to communicate with. He kept the dance floor packed, high energy, and kept everything running smooth, even through some last minute changes! Encore Events and Entertainment provided amazing services at our September 2017 wedding in Estes Park. Jeff, Matt, and the whole Encore team were so professional, responsive, and patient throughout the entire planning process. Jeff and Matt really understood what services we wanted for our wedding and offered us affordable and competitive packages. On the day of our wedding, Matt was amazing! Our ceremony and reception went smoothly with no technological interruptions or difficulties. Our reception was so fun and the party last all night long! All of our friends and family had the best time and we created so many wonderful memories! Months after our wedding, our wedding guests still tell my husband and I how much fun they had at our wedding. I highly recommend Encore Events and Entertainment!

Cannot begin to express how amazing Jeff was during my whole wedding process. I have worked in event planning for 10 plus years & going thru it as a client was painless. Jeff was communicative, understanding of our needs & definitely made our night. Jeff allowed us to customize our music based on our families backgrounds as well as set up a very cool photo booth.

Oh man, where do I begin. Working with Jeff and Encore was so easy. It reduced a lot of the stress around planning a wedding, especially finding a DJ for a multicultural wedding. Grounded and easy to work with. Our wedding was everything and more of what we dreamed of. The music was exactly what we requested. Jeff listened to our needs and desires and made it so. Katie and Total Encore Productions provided the most incredible service for our wedding event. Katie was so professional and responsive throughout the entire process! She was accommodating with every particular request we made, and even more she kept our friends, family and us DANCING on the floor all night long! What was probably my favorite part was that she actively helped me provide the best surprise for my husband in our first dance. I had contacted the singer to ask him if he would perform our song for us, and she incredibly handled all of the details to keep the moment a surprise. On top of the great DJ-ing Katie provided, she was adaptable throughout our ceremony. On our big day, the sun was shining until 30 minutes to ceremony, we asked to keep our ceremony outside, and as the rain showed full strength, we finally caved to have our reception inside. She was flexible and positive throughout the numerous location changes, keeping the equipment safe, and the party happening! Once the weather created the new challenges she met every step with a smile and the music. She was a positive star and great communicator for the whole process. If I ever have a DJ worthy event again, Katie and Total Encore will be my first call and the first team I would ever recommend if anyone asks me. My husband and I are so thankful for the incredible memories they helped create on our big day!

We can’t say enough great things about Jeff and Encore Events and Entertainment! We contracted with Encore to provide the DJ services, lighting and photo booth for our daughter’s wedding a few weeks ago and were so happy with all the services. Jeff was our DJ for the event and did an outstanding job with knowing just what music to play and when. He had a great selection of oldies, Sinatra and the like during dinner which provided just the right amount of background music but still made it easy to have a conversation at the table without shouting. After dinner he handled all the announcements for toasts, first dance, cake cutting right on schedule. Then it was time to dance! I think everyone was on the dance floor including the grandparents! We heard over and over again what an epic dance party it was!! The dance floor was full up till the time of the bride and groom send off. Jeff did an amazing job with mixing it up and getting everyone involved.
The lighting was beautiful and exactly what we hoped for. It added a touch of warmth, romance and elegance to the big space. And the photo booth was a complete hit with the guests. Initially we didn’t think this would be a big deal but all the guests loved the props and mugging for the camera. The photo strips were perfect little souvenirs of the wedding.
If you are looking to hire a DJ be sure to call Jeff. He is so easy to work with and knows how to get the party started and keep it going till the end. Thanks Jeff for all your time and energy you put into our event. You made it really a special day.

STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND HIRE JEFF!! I hired Jeff and his team and flew them out to Des Moines, Iowa to do my wedding two weeks ago. Jeff and Katie made me feel SO comfortable throughout the whole process. They have an easy to use online software where you can pick and choose your song list, do not play list and specialty songs. They are experts in their work and I wouldn't have changed anything. The best part? My guests were coming up to me through out the reception (and after) telling me how much they LOVED the DJ! AH!! Perfection!

Encore Events & Entertainment is an outstanding DJ company! One of the main reasons why Encore Events & Entertainment was incredible is because of Jeff. My husband and I felt pretty apprehensive when selecting a DJ to play at our wedding, but the minute I met Jeff many of our concerns were put at ease. My husband comes from a large Latino family and it was very important to the both of us that the cultural music we would want to have played would be respectfully and diligently met. Jeff and his staff accomplished this stupendously. There are no words to describe how much fun we had at our wedding because of our music, and how much it meant to us. The system that Encore Events & Entertainment has in place is professional, dependable and flexible, which ultimately made the whole experience of working with Jeff and his staff amazing. They are not only spectacular in the music department but they are incredibly personable. I can recall on several occasions a staff member with Encore Events & Entertainment (Katie) making sure that my husband had a drink in our hands throughout our wedding. Over all, I feel so fortunate to have had Encore Events & Entertainment by our side on such an important day, and I will truly miss working with them!

Jeff is AMAZING! All we heard all night long and for days following our wedding was how great our DJ was! We heard several times our wedding was the most fun wedding people had been to, and we know a large part of that was because of his ability to engage our guests on the dance floor! He catered the songs extremely well to the crowd and differences in music tastes. If we had to plan our wedding all over again, booking him as our DJ would be the first thing we would do!

We could not have been more pleased with Jeff and his professionalism! He was very professional and organized and great to work with! We planned our wedding from Nebraska so there was no way to see Jeff in action before we booked him. In the beginning of my search for a fun, affordable, experienced DJ who would deliver a good time I was narrowed down to two until one Saturday afternoon I got a text from Jeff with a video. He was doing a wedding reception at the same location in Silverthorne, CO that we planned to use. He just wanted me to see his set up and assure me he was familiar with the venue and he would be able to deliver a good time! That small gesture and the fact that he thought of a POTENTIAL CUSTOMER while he was busy providing a good time for another bride and groom was the deciding factor! We both decided to put our trust in Jeff that he would create a memorable time for us and all of our guests who traveled to Colorado to celebrate with us. We still have people telling us how much fun they had! I just wanted a dance party and a dance party is what we got!! Thank You Jeff!

Don't look any further Jeff is your DJ! We hired Jeff a year and a half prior to our wedding and he delivered. Our guests are still talking about how awesome Jeff and the team were. The provided uplighting, photo booth, and music. He timed the ceremony perfect and help push us through toasts, cake cutting, and specialty dancing. He was key in making our special day 1 of a kind!

Take my word for it, Jeff is as good as it gets if you want everyone on the dance floor having the time of their lives! We contracted with Jeff about 1.5 years before our big day arrived, and thank goodness because he will be booked out if you wait too long. He was responsive, punctual, and a team player when it came to cooperating with other vendors to allow for a smooth event. Jeff and his team set us up with a photo booth and incredible lighting that is a differentiator in my book for creating an exceptional environment. Jeff recommended these services and all of them were worth their wight in gold. Thank you Jeff and we look forward to having you at our next event!

Jeff is a friend of mine, but that's not why I wanted his services. I have seen him in action and he is amazing. He was helpful and very accommodating with all of our requests, even the last minute changes. Everything went as planned and all the right music was played. He was able to get and keep our dance floor jam packed. It was so much fun. Our guests are still talking about our party, that they haven't danced that much in years. We also had the Photobooth and it was a big hit. A big thank you, Jeff and his right-hand women, Katie, and the photobooth attendant, Elyse.

Hands down the best DJ that we could have ever asked for on our wedding day. He helped us with our timeline for the wedding and made it really easy. The day of he ran the show and did a fantastic job! There was no stress on our wedding day because we knew Jeff would take care of everything as promised. He made our guests laugh, kept them involved and played music that kept people on the dance floor. We were referred to Jeff from some friends and we have since referred him to our friends that are getting married or just have an event that they are in need of a DJ or Photo Booth. If you want to take the stress and massive research out of finding a DJ, I suggest you give Encore Events & Entertainment a chance. I promise you will not be disappointed with this decision. Although we didn't have enough time for Jeff to play all of our music he kept the dance floor packed. My wife and I were beyond satisfied with Jeff. He did a great job at finding our rare song requests and transitioned between the different genres better than anyone could've. Also, the up lighting Jeff used was incredible. Jeff Fernandez was the DJ at our wedding back in March. He was truly incredible and I am so glad to have found him through a friend. He had everyone engaged and dancing and having a great time. There was one time when he even had my low-mobility grandparents on the dance floor! he worked hard to meet our requests and checked with us all along the way to make sure things went the way we wanted them to go. He played my husbands favorite music at the right times and got everyone engaged during the dancing. He closed out the night with our favorite song, as requested, and was great with set-up and clean-up. He was truly a wonderful DJ and I would highly recommend him to anyone having a special event.

My husband and I used Encore Events for our wedding and wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Jeff and his team are reliable, trustworthy, experienced, and so much fun! I highly recommend them. Jeff was willing to meet with us as often as needed, but we felt confident and comfortable after two meetings that he knew exactly what we wanted. We appreciated his thoroughness and ability to include all our ideas while also providing his expertise and suggestions that gave a complete picture of what the reception was going to be like. He did an amazing job setting a romantic and elegant music scene for the ceremony. Jeff and his team were so organized and didn't miss a detail in any part of the wedding, including ceremony, introductions, speeches, and dancing. He is truly talented in his ability to read the crowd and provide exactly what is needed to make the party run flawlessly and be ridiculously fun. The uplighting is also a really cool feature of their services and gave the party such a cool vibe!

I recommend Jeff Fernandez with Encore Events and Entertainment without hesitation! Besides actually getting married, our entire goal was to have a fun party - where our guests loved every minute and never left the dance floor. Jeff made this happen - and then some! He took my song list (of songs I liked) and otherwise, we trusted him to read the crowd and make music decisions for us. He did just that. He played just a couple of slow songs, a couple of choreographed dances (that really worked to get people on the dance floor!) and otherwise kept it light and fun. He got the crowd on their feet for us before we were announced in, he told everyone what to expect for dinner as they worked their way through our stations, and he *only* played Africa's Toto 3 times (for my husband, as it is his favorite song to dance to!) Again, I would recommend working with Jeff! He made our wedding reception into the type of party that we will never forget - and one that our guests are still talking about. Thank you, Jeff, for everything!!!

Jeff runs an absolutely wonderful DJ service company. He is very helpful and his prices are extremely fair, Look no further as you will not be disappointed with Jeff or any of his DJ's. They are very helpful in the planning stages and the night of our daughter's wedding could not of gone better. Jeff was not able to be at our event which made us a bit nervous but we should not of been. Marcus was the main DJ that night and he was so GREAT! We loved Marcus and his ability to make our daughter's wedding such a fun event. We really cannot say enough good about Jeff and his company. Our other daughter is getting married in January and we wish they could DJ for that wedding as well. The only problem is she is getting married on the other side of the country. Thanks Jeff for all your work getting things set up and thank you so much Marcus for all you did to make our reception the best!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Jeff and Encore Events. They did a fantastic job of involving the crowd when appropriate, and other times just playing the perfect selection of music back to back spoke for itself. My wedding was far more fun than I thought it was going to be, and that is thanks in no small part to Jeff and Encore Events and all they did to make the atmosphere perfect.

In addition to great music, they provided a microphone and sound for our ceremony, and Jeff went above and beyond in helping me prepare a big surprise for the Bride. I played guitar and sang a song for my vows, and Jeff was great about picking up my guitar from the dressing room and keeping it hidden until the right moment. Suddenly there was a mic stand and my guitar on stage, and the Bride didn't know what was going on. It was a huge success!

If you are looking for a DJ who will do more than just play great music, but will also help to make your event special, look no further than Encore Events & Entertainment.

We told Jeff we wanted a party and people on the dance floor all night. He ensured that happened! He picked awesome music for us and also played all of our songs we wanted as a bridal party. Jeff did an excellent job as a DJ for our wedding. He provided seamless coverage for our outdoor ceremony, cocktail reception, and dinner reception. We had excellent communication with him leading up to the wedding. If anything, I worried that I didn't give him enough info as I was scrambling to get everything else ready but he had it all handled. He did an excellent job of communicating with our wedding planner as well to ensure everything ran smoothly. He listened to us as far as our musical tastes and filled in the gaps with other music along the same lines as we enjoy a few different genres. He also actually mixed the tracks which made it much more fun instead of just playing songs one after another. I have certainly attended weddings where DJs did the bare minimum required and I was so pleased that Jeff went above and beyond for us.

We were new to Colorado when our daughter got engaged. Our wedding planner recommended Jeff and we are so grateful she did! He is wonderful. He is extremely professional and offered suggestions to make our day special--and it truly was! Many of our guests commented that they "never dance at weddings" but they never came off the floor. He managed to get EVERYONE involved and up and moving. It was a blast!! We cannot say enough good things about Jeff...from start to finish, he was awesome. Jeff was amazing! When our wedding ceremony had some hiccups in the schedule, he remained professional and everything went off without an issue. The reception was a blast, from the introduction of the couple to the dinner to the dancing. Jeff was really easy to work with leading up to the wedding - he got a great idea of what kind of music we were looking for, did a run through a couple weeks before to make sure everything was good, and we were just able to trust him to read the crowd during the day. We heard everything from Jason Derulo to Backstreet Boys to Bon Jovi to Walk the Moon to Bruno Mars and a whole bunch more. Who knew our friends would go crazy when he put on Wilson Phillips?? The next few minutes were insane. I never thought I’d say we’d kiss while crowd surfing to R. Kelly’s Ignition. Other guests said “there were too many good songs, it was hard to take a break from dancing”. People would literally run to the floor when they heard a song come on. Jeff did an awesome job mixing songs, transitioning between them and even overlaying a couple on top of each other for a bit. Thank you so much Jeff for an awesome wedding!!

Jeff with Encore is the best! He was super easy to work with before the wedding and didn't need much guidance. He asked a few questions, totally understood what we wanted and just did the best job ever at the wedding! He kept the dance floor packed throughout the night and had seamless transitions. I didn't want the party to end! He did the perfect amount of speaking and helping us watch the clock all night to keep the whole night running on course. The only aspect of the wedding that I did not prepare myself for was all of the songs that we had to choose (oops!) and when it came time to chat with Jeff for our final meeting before the wedding, I was so embarrassed! He didn't bat an eye. I did not give him much time to prepare our music and he still blew us away!
The music was perfect and our guests were on the dance floor alllll night. Everyone raved about our DJ!
We are so thankful that we were introduced to him and that he was able to be part of our day!

We had such an amazing time at our wedding with Jeff in charge of the entertainment! He was fantastic to work with and he and my husband clicked musically from our first meeting. Everything was so easy to plan, we just gave him some taste parameters and he selected a playlist that had the dance floor packed all night! He oversaw the ceremony music and took care of all our requests. The dinner music was tasteful and perfect. He kept the flow of the wedding moving so we could get cake and everything else done in a timely manner! We also had the photo booth and it was SO much fun! I highly recommend adding it! We could not have been happier in choosing Encore for our DJ!!

Jeff was incredible! I cannot imagine having any other DJ at our wedding. He was so experienced and knew exactly what to do on every front. He took charge of the wedding timeline and made sure everything was perfect. He was able to guide the wedding events perfectly to make sure everything was running on time and allowed enough time for dancing. The photo-booth was perfect and was one of the best parts of the wedding. Our guests loved it! Jeff also did the lighting at our wedding and it was beautiful!! He did all the lighting very tastefully and he was able to light our venue without making the room look like a night club. He was also very flexible and attentive to everything my husband and I needed. He always checked-in with us to make sure everything was going smoothly. He was great about working with the venue's staff and very attentive to every detail! He gave me so much peace of mind on the wedding day which was invaluable!

The absolute best part about Jeff and Encore Events was the music! The online profile made it very easy for us to pick out our music and set up other aspects of the wedding - including the timeline. Our guests loved the music and we did too!! The dance floor was CONSTANTLY full and there was not one dull moment. All of our guests were raving about the music and how much everyone danced. Everyone was on the dance floor and it was not empty once. Jeff's ability to read the crowd and keep people dancing was incredible!!

I could go on-and-on about how great Jeff was but you can see so yourself by using him for your next wedding or event! He was worth every penny and I will be suggesting him to anyone who is looking for a DJ.

Jeff was our DJ for our wedding and we could not have been more happy!

Prior to the wedding Jeff was really helpful in guiding us to finalizing all the details of our wedding, many of which we had not thought of before. Also, their website is amazing - it allows you to input songs you want, do not want, are okay with, and songs for certain events. It was really helpful to see our plans set out on their website.

When it came time for the big day - Jeff could not have been more amazing. I ended up having a dress issue which completely changed the timeline and what we were going to do. Jeff was so helpful and worked with the sudden changes with ease. He made us feel less stressed about the changes and no one even knew something was different!

The dancing part of our wedding was AMAZING. He kept everyone excited, dancing until the very end of the wedding. When a song came on that the crowd did not respond well to, he immediately changed the song to get everyone excited again. In addition, if we had any sudden requests, he immediately responded. Best part of the night: an amazing rendition of N*Sync's "Bye Bye Bye" at the end that everyone loved - no way anyone has ever danced to that song like my wedding party did.

We also rented the photobooth, which many guests loved! The best part was that they printed a copy of every single photo and put it in amazing guest book for us - we laughed at the photos for days!

Our guests gave us so many compliments about our DJ and we agreed with every compliment. I would recommend Jeff and Encore for your wedding - without a single doubt... He is AMAZING! I wish I could rate them 10 stars!

Jeff was fantastic. He kept the dance floor packed for the entire night. Jeff was wonderful to work with, we met with him a couple of times before the wedding and he really helped us plan out the order of events and what songs go well for what part of the night. He was very receptive to everything we asked him to play! The best part was, the party never stopped. There was NEVER a song that people questioned or walked off the dance floor. He read the room and the guests perfectly. I cannot say enough good things about Jeff. He drove all the way up to Grand Lake, was punctual and stayed late into the night. Do yourself a favor and book now if he has your date open!!!!!

Jeff was amazing! I wouldn't have picked anyone else to dj my wedding. He had everyone dancing all night, and even though he is super professional, he is funny, friendly, and down to earth. Encore Events & Entertainment were awesome!! Our DJ’s were Dave & Marcus and they were absolutely amazing. When I first contacted Jeff he was so easy to work with and answered all my questions. We had a 2 ½ month engagement so we had hired Encore about a month and half before the wedding! Jeff was great about setting up meetings via phone since we lived 2 hours away and made me feel so confident that they were going to great job. They definitely delivered! We had the best time. We started dancing at 7 ish and did not stop until 11PM. They were so great about playing not only what we wanted, but what our guests wanted as well. They checked in with us multiple times throughout the night and made us feel so special! They made us feel like we had known them for years! Now almost 2 months later and we are still having guests tell us what an amazing job Encore did and how much fun they had! I have even had guests tell me that in their 20-30 years of their marriage they had not seen their husbands dance & have that much fun in years!! Thank you guys for everything and for making our special day that much more great!

Jeff was amazing! Everything from the very get go was so easy. Jeff met us for an initial meeting wherever was most convenient for us. Then he did the same thing a month before the wedding. Jeff has a website geared towards allowing the bride and groom customize exactly what they want for every part of the wedding and notes to put in for special instructions. But if you don't know exactly what you want like us, Jeff was very knowledgeable and had great suggestions that were geared towards what he knew about us.

You can customize your playlist with must plays, would like to play, and absolutely do not play. We did not add more than 40 songs to all three lists, and yet Jeff really picked up on what we wanted and didn't want and took it over from there like we wanted. I have never been to a wedding where the dance floor was packed the entire night until our wedding. There were never less than 30 people on the dance floor the entire night for the 3 1/2 hours the dance floor was open. We had Latin and Italian family, and even when the Latin music played, Jeff found the right songs to keep everyone on the dance floor. I cannot say enough good things about Jeff. He will make your event the most fun you have ever had dancing.

Jeff Fernandez (owner & operator) with Encore Events & Entertainment is AWESOME! Jeremy and I looked at many booths while out at Bridal Shows here in Colorado and had a couple on our lists to consider but then we came across Jeff, himself, at the Rocky Mountain Bridal Expo and we had to look no further! It was an instant connection he was so great and friendly! He spent time with us talking and answering my questions and concerns with DJ’s and to top it off he is a package deal with a PHOTOBOOTH!
One thing I had known going into this wedding planning was that I wanted a Photo booth, we went to a friend’s wedding and it just added so much fun during and many stories and laughter afterwards! I loved the idea of having the photo booth photos placed in a book for my guests to sign instead of a guest book! How many people take a look at a book of signatures? Probably not many but this way my family and friends have asked to see the guest book and have enjoyed it so much!
We really wanted to have FUN and dance and have people tell us and others what a fun wedding it was! We chatted several times with Jeff before the wedding day and never had to submit a play list! We just told him it was in his hands to provide us what we were looking for and he definitely came through! Everyone had sooooooo much fun and Jeff helped us with some special and very memorable touches that went above and beyond! Encore Events and Entertainment IS The Best! Voted 2nd Best DJ here in Colorado amongst 46 others! Jeff Fernandez in amazing and his team follow that reputation!

I have been to quite a few weddings in my time and Jeffery was definitely the best wedding DJ I've experienced. He met with us well before the wedding and we discussed a lot of things that needed to happen that we didn't even think of. He took care of the mikes, sound, and music for the entire ceremony and reception.
I gave him a list of music that we like for him to have an idea to go off of. He custom tailored every moment of the wedding from the music at the intro, to ceremony, to dinner, to party time. We got multiple compliments on how awesome the DJ was throughout the night. He periodically checked in with my wife and I to make sure everything was to our liking. He was the glue that kept our timing throughout the night on point. Whether it was to remind us of our speeches or bouquet, and garter toss. He cued and timed songs for our ceremony down to the second that we wanted them to start.
He was very flexible and even agreed to come a couple hours earlier than we had first planned on. He definitely knew how to feel the crowd out and made adjustments throughout the night accordingly. All around he made our wedding a very unique and customized experience. He is worth every penny and I highly recommend his services!!!!

Jeff our DJ and Josh our photobooth guys were great! They were the ones keeping the party going even after we left for the night! Our guests talk about how fun the reception was and how much fun the photobooth was. The photobooth was packed all night long! We had kids at this function and this was great for them in between dancing! We loved the music that Jeff played and he really helped us out by helping us pick some great music for the night. We had a hard timing picking the right kind of music and Jeff made it easy. We gave him very minimal guidelines and parameters and he did the rest which was a huge load off of my mind with everything else I had to worry about. He will do total custom if you ask and he asked us several times and had several meetings with us to make sure he knew us as a couple. He really made it our own even without lots of guidelines. He is that good he knows what needs to be done. Jeff will play whatever you wanted and wants to make sure your day is special to you! He did all of the sound for our ceramony and cocktail hour too! The guests raved about him and his music. My entrance song was lived by all and people told me all night it was the perfect song. Our entrance song to the reception was thunder struck and it was a huge success for us and the crowd. We could not have pulled off this night without them. I almost did not take the photobooth and then decided to fit it in the budget and I was not sorry! Jeff and Josh made it real easy for us to enjoy the night and have fun without worries. The DJ and the photobooth package are a great price and would recommend him to anyone who wants a company that have quality people who know what they are doing. Jeff did a fantastic job as the DJ at our wedding ceremony and reception. He was very professional and yet a lot of fun. He played the exact music that we requested. Jeff energized the crowd and got them out on the dance floor. He even taught a few dances to everyone himself. Not only did he run the music perfectly but he also checked on us throughout the night. Whether we needed a beer or thought of a new song, he would be there helping us. There are so many things to think about on the wedding day and I was relieved that I didn't have to worry about music. We had the privilege to have Phil and Marcus work our wedding a few weeks ago. To say that they only did an excellent job would be a disservice to how remarkable a job that they did do.

Our wedding coordinator quit less than 9 days before our wedding, and the venue was completely unprepared for our wedding. Not only did they ignore our contract, but they set up both the ceremony and reception areas completely incorrect. Needless to say, my bride and I were furious.

But Phil and Marcus went so far above and beyond to make sure our day wasn't ruined that it's difficult to put into words. From the perfect music, working the crowd, to checking in on us whenever something veered off course, they were absolute superstars. They rolled with the punches, from being set up in the wrong places to dealing with a thousand different staff members, and had us all having a blast despite the incompetence of the venue.

I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for any event entertainment, they are head and shoulders above the rest.

We had Phil and Marcus DJ our recent wedding, and I can't say enough good things about them! They're both very upbeat, energetic, and all around fun! All night our dancefloor was packed because they knew exactly what to play to get people moving. At one point my new hubby and I were outside instead of on the dancefloor, and Marcus made the effort to come out to make sure we were happy with what they were playing. We have continued to get many compliments on the music, and everybody loved them! I would definitely recommend Encore to anybody!

Jeff provided our ceremony sound, reception music, up lighting, and photo booth and we couldn't have asked for someone better! Everything was perfect! Jeff was amazing!! We had so much fun at our wedding! He had just about everyone on the dance floor even our parents which was an amazing moment. When the crowd wasn't really feeling a song he would switch it immediately in a shuttle way. Also he played a lot of songs we didn't ask for but we're perfect. Like he knew based on our requests what we might like.

During the planning process we met only a few times which was nice. You're always getting pulled a million ways during this time and it's nice to have someone who understands that. At the final meeting he drove out of his way and really helped make things clear. Finally he suggest a day of planner who saved my life! Lisa with lisabeth events. Over all they both worked at a team and Jeff's over 1,001 weddings showed. You HAVE to use his services!

I cannot say enough good things! We met with Jeff rice before the wedding and one of those times with Marcus. Both times we met they were so nice and laid back. We were very laid back with the wedding and had a lot of things undecided and both have totally different music styles but we told them that we both wanted a fun party, hey gave us exactly that!
It poured and flooded the tent and the poor DJs were standing in water and were still doing everything so great.
Dave and Marcus were our DJs and they were amazing. The poor guys probably witnessed some of the worst dance moves ever at a wedding but people are still telling me how great the music was and how much fun they had dancing.
We also decided to use the Photo Booth, I wanted it my husband didn't, if you are on the fence do it! It is so fun to look at the pictures afterwards and we love the guestbook we have now.
These guys blew away anything we could have imagined. We loved ever second of it!

Jeff was the DJ at our wedding and he also provided our photobooth. He was awesome to work with from the start and listened to what we wanted and made suggestions when we weren't sure what to choose. We had a wedding of a little over 100 people and Jeff was great about interacting with the crowd and getting them going. Encore Events and Entertainment made our wedding amazing and everything we dreamed it would be! We wanted a wedding reception that was moving and fun! Jeff and his team played a variety of music and accepted multiple request. He even took my friends phone and played the unusual request of What Does the Fox say. Not only did he keep the crowd moving they even assisted with dismissing of the tables for food and setting up the timing for the toasts. Jeff also went along with a crazy family tradition of the hat dance. He stood up on a chair with the mic and a hat on too and had everyone at our wedding doing classic dance moves, which he lead us through. All of our guests said it was a fun wedding and a lot of that is due to amazing music. The best part of the night is when Jeff helped me do a VoiceOver for the father daughter dance...not a dry eye in the room. We are truly grateful for Jeff and all of his work for our wedding. This is for sure the de company to go with!

We were very nervous picking a DJ because that we are extremely picky and wanted someone who's fun, charismatic and prepared. We hit the JACKPOT with Jeff. He was absolutely amazing. From the very beginning, he was on top of the song selection process and made sure that the tunes were truly unique to us. He blended the music so well that we always had people on the dance floor.

As an MC, Jeff was exactly what we looked for! He took the time to learn everyone's names (we had some 8 syllable relatives that Jeff pronounced as if it were his native tongue).

I know, everything might sound like it's too good to be true, but it's absolutely not. I would be happy to give Jeff a personal recommendation if you reached out to him and put him in contact with me. We love that guy!

These guys are great! Jeff was unable to DJ for us on our wedding date but his colleague, Tommy from Chicago, flew in to Denver to DJ our wedding and did an outstanding job, his assistant Tyler was great as well. I couldn't have asked for a better reception with great interaction and dancing on my wedding day. Encore Events and Entertainment was a great choice, I would recommend it to anyone! Absolutely spectacular all around. We were pretty laid back about everything, but at the same time that meant we had no direction for what we wanted our wedding to be like. Jeff ended up acting as a wedding planner before we even got to the DJ stuff; he helped us with toasts, announcements, cutting the cake, dances, and everything else for the reception.

During the wedding Kevin and Tyler played all the songs we wanted, avoided all the ones we didn't, announced everything we needed them to, and kept the party going when it might've come to a halt otherwise. I was thinking the reception would be over by 10:00, but we ended up going until midnight. They were extremely good at communicating with us, discussing any changes they might make, and keeping the crowd entertained. Had a blast.

Jeff was so awesome to have on our special day! He worked hard to make everything perfect and he succeeded. The ceremony, the cocktail hour and the reception all had the right music and smooth transitions which made for the perfect ambiance. The dancing part of the evening was loud and crazy and the dance floor was overflowing! It was so fun! Thank you so much Jeff!

Our DJ Jeff was amazing from the very first meeting. We were able to let him no exactly what kind of music we wanted and how it was to be played at our event. My father in law put together a CD of Hispanic music and Jeff made sure it got played. The lighting was unbelievable. Jeff and his crew were set up and ready to go on time. They were very professional and I would recommend them to anyone who wants there event to be unforgettable.

Jeff was our DJ for our wedding in August and we could not be happier with his services. Jeff definitely knows what he is doing. When we first met, I could tell he was the one that was going to make our party happen and get everyone on the dance floor- and he DID! Everything he did was executed seamlessly. He knew what songs to play to get everyone on the dance floor and at what times to play them. Prior to the wedding, my husband and I got to choose a bunch of songs from his website that has thousands of songs to choose from. If there is a song you want and you don't see it, he will add it for you. Jeff was so fun to work with, very professional, and as I said before- he knows what he is doing. We had so many compliments on what an awesome DJ Jeff was and that he was the best DJ they had ever heard at a wedding. We highly recommend Jeff whether you are looking for someone for your wedding or party- he will not let you down. If you want people moving and enjoying themselves, Jeff will make it happen.

Jeff with Encore Events and Entertainment was so great! He made our wedding so much fun and run so smoothly! I don't know how many people said how much fun they had. I love music and dancing and so I was picky with who I wanted to choose and I am so so glad I chose Jeff for our DJ especially because he loves music as much if not more than me! Him meeting with us when needed and before our wedding was great and having a website to put down what song we needed or wanted or all the people we needed to mention at what time plus anything else we needed so there are no holes as he would say was so great to have! Let me start by saying, Jeff MADE my wedding. He is on-point, interactive, well versed in music selections and an all-around great, thoughtful businessman. Jeff met with us several times over the course of the year before our big day- & also would remember our previous conversations- even though he had a full plate of weddings/brides. He had a lot of great ideas on how to make our night unforgettable. One of the things Jeff did for us is during our parent dances we recorded a message to our parents that Jeff then wove throughout the two dances. It was a special moment for all- and was so unexpected by our guests- they loved it! He also had an idea of a dry-ice first dance, something I had never heard of/seen before. We tested it at the venue a few weeks before the big day to ensure it would work and it worked out great…fast forward to the night of, add in his lighting stands, his up-lighting, the candlelight and WOWZAIt was like I was in a fairy-tale, we were dancing on clouds! The groom and groomsmen also did a special rendition of YMCA- and had the whole crowd mimicking the motions and laughing- all choreographed by Jeff, on the spot! Jeff then orchestrated a conga line where even my 87 year old grandma got in on the fun- and then a whole interactive dance to follow! He also is VERY good about staying on schedule/ keeping you informed. I also liked that he is YOUR DJ for YOUR night, some DJ Companies just send out random guys that you have never talked to before and they know nothing about your expectations or wants- there was comfort in knowing Jeff was who I would see on my big day. Just to see his smiling face with his matching tie to my wedding colors that day put me at ease! Jeff is the man you want to DJ your wedding, he is not the DJ that sits in the corner, runs through the play list while mumbling a few works over the loud speakers. He is WELL AWARE of every facet that makes a wedding reception memorable and I cannot thank him enough for making my night!

Jeff was amazing! He provided music for our ceremony and reception and it was perfect! He was very professional and was able to play the songs that we loved. We also used the photo booth and Tyler did an amazing job making sure it ran smoothly. The photo booth added so much for the guests and they were raving about how much fun it was. Jeff did a great job, his lighting, sound, and music mix was great. We had a tough dance crowd at first then things got going and Jeff was able to pick the music that kept them dancing, what I was looking for in a DJ- the ability to go with the crowd, despite my music choices. Very professional with keeping us updated, attire and performance. We were very pleased with Jeff and could not think of anything that anyone could have done better.Encore is a solid company that will not disappoint.

Encore Entertainment is absolutely fabulous!!! Jeff was easy to work with, fun to be around and an amazing DJ. Jeff was awesome! He met with us a few times prior to the wedding to help us get the music the way that we wanted. He gave us suggestions and was open to our requests. He didn't miss anything, we were on a tight schedule because of our photographer, and Jeff ran the whole night right on time. He had our entire wedding on the dance floor which was kind of shocking due to the large discrepancies in the demographics that were there. I could not recommend Jeff and Encore Events more highly, he was definitely the best vendor we had at our wedding!

Jeff with Encore Events and Entertainment was awesome! He made our wedding day PERFECT and we could not have chosen a better DJ!!! The sound system was great, his setup was very professional and he was wonderful to work with! Every little thing that we requested from the lighting, to specific songs, to where he set up was exactly as we had requested. We were blown away by the numerous comments we received on our wedding and specifically on how great our DJ was! A DJ was one of our top priorities for our wedding and Jeff successfully fulfilled everything we had hoped and wished for! Jeff is the only DJ I will ever recommend to my family and friends. Jeff was the DJ at our best friend's wedding back in November of 2012, so we knew from that night on that we were going to book him for our wedding in June 2013. Jeff was wonderful to work with during the entire planning process. He is very professional, fun, and extremely talented.
Geoff (my husband) and I wanted Jeff (DJ & Owner) to see the venue prior to signing the contract just to make sure that he knew the space since he had not worked there previously. He was instantly on board and willing to come take a look. He was also there for our 30 day walk-thru to make sure that he knew the exact location for his DJ equipment for the reception, exactly how it would work for the ceremony, and where the photo booth was going.
The music for the ceremony and reception was amazing. Jeff and his team did a truly fantastic job. We did not have a huge dancing crowd but he was able to get everyone out of their seats and onto the dance floor multiple times during the evening. I had many people tell me that he was the best wedding DJ that they have ever heard and they LOVED his group dance.
We also used the photo booth, which was a huge hit. Everyone gets a copy that is in the picture (5 people - 6 copies... Geoff and I get one too!!) And we will also get a CD with all the images! Best deal in town, I promise.
Geoff and I could not give higher than a 5-star review, but we cannot recommend Encore Events & Entertainment enough. Jeff is a phenomenal DJ and will make your reception one that everyone will remember!

We hired Jeff to do my daughters Quince (aka her sweet 15). He did an amazing job making sure that our guest were having the best night, taking photos in the photo booth. We loved the fact that the guest that took pictures in the booth all got a copy of the photos. We appreciate all that he has done to make my daughter night the best night of her life. After quite a a bit of researching and talking to DJ's, we decided on Jeff at Encore Events & Entertainment. It was certainly the correct decision. Our wedding was set up was not easy because the wedding was outside on a balcony and the dinner and dancing were in separate rooms. Jeff was able to bring out different set-ups (without charging extra) and smoothly transition between the different areas. In addition, we were pretty specific in our music choices and nixed nearly all of the songs on the top 200 wedding song lists. We also requested quite a bit of bluegrass music, which Jeff was not really familiar with (although he's a fan now). Jeff was able to take our requests, learn the music, add some of his choices, and create a perfect play list that kept people dancing the entire night. I received countless compliments throughout the night and since the wedding. A couple of friends even tried to book Jeff that night for future events.
We also went through Jeff for our photobooth. I was hesitant when my fiance wanted a photobooth because I was not sure it was worth it. I was totally wrong. Friends and family ate it up and there was line nearly the entire evening. Jeff's set up is perfect because you can fit quite a few people in the pics and they can be printed in color and B&W. His staff was very helpful and plenty of props were provided. We went with the budget option so we had to provide our own device if we wanted digital copies of the pics but I forgot the day of. Jeff was nice enough to meet me a few days later so I could get the digital copies from him.
Overall, I can not think of one even slightly negative thing to say about our experience with Jeff and Encore Events & Entertainment. He was organized from the jump, responded nearly immediately to every email and call, and the day of went off without a hitch despite the setup difficulties and stringent music guidelines. He provided us with excellent service and value. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Encore Events & Entertainment was by far one of, if not THE best investment that I made on for my wedding day. Jeff was professional and helpful from the start. While we went through the process of getting ready for the wedding Jeff and Encore made the process seamless and stress free. I would strongly recommend them for your wedding, over a year later I am still getting compliments on the "wedding of the year" and I truly attribute that to Jeff and Encore Events.

First the reception. NEVER once was the dance floor empty once it opened after dinner. Aside from my short list of about 5 must plays, I left the music in the hands of Jeff and I am so grateful for that. He played a balanced and well rounded variety of music that kept everyone happy. From my Mom and Aunts to my teenage cousins there wasn't a person in the room that wasn't happy with the music. The microphones and stereo equipment were top quality and never once were there any sound quality issues. Jeff was extremely attentive and SO much more than just a DJ. He checked in on us during dinner to make sure we had everything we needed, and I am not just talking about music. He made sure if we needed a drink to get it, if I needed a message sent to someone at a table he relayed it for me, etc. I could not believe how attentive and incredible this company was. I truly feel that they understand not only how important this day is for us but also how stressful it can be and they went above and beyond my expectations in making sure our day went as planned.

In addition the "night of" I just felt as though Encore was the right choice for the entire process. They were organized, professional and prompt in responding to my questions, concerns and requests. They reminded me of things I had forgotten and made the planning process that much smoother.

I truly think that this company is what made our wedding reception flow so smoothly. I am forever grateful to them for that!

Jeff with encore entertainment was an amazing DJ, if i could give him six stars I would. He was extremely knowledgable about everything wedding related his service and advice were invaluable. We also used the photo booth service which I recommend everyone look into for their wedding. The guests loved it and the pictures were great.

His skill as a DJ and MC were amazing, he was highly adaptive to all the last minute changes that come with any wedding. He kept the dance floor full the whole night and was highly interactive leading the floor in group dances. We have been receiving compliments on his services from everyone that attended. Even friends from party cities like New York were surprised by how awesome he was. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and honestly there is not one complaint we have about working with Jeff; he was simply phenomenal and made us feel so at ease.

All in all we loved Jeff and recommend Encore Events to everyone! They really made our wedding amazing.

I do not have one thing bad to say about Jeff and his service that he provided for my wife and I before and on our wedding day! He was very professional and it was a pleasure working with him! You could tell that he has been in this industry for a long time! He had awesome ideas for our music selection, lighting, ceremony music, introductions, the layout... you name it! He had this one idea that people still talk about and will probably talk about for the rest of my life, because it was that awesome! Here was his idea; Jeff knew that my mother passed away a long time ago so he suggested that I do something special in tribute to my mother. We had 225 people @ our wedding and Jeff had it so quiet for a "moment of silence" tribute to my mother that you could hear a pin drop! He also suggested a "voice over" with my voice while playing the song for the "mother/groom" dance (I danced with my sister). Everybody thought I had a microphone hooked up to me while I was dancing but realized that my voice was mixed in with the music! I still get emotional just thinking about it! With the up-lighting, my voice, the music... it was a memory that I and everybody else in that room will never forget!

I would highly recommend Jeff Fernandez and Encore Events & Entertainment. My husband and I were so impressed with Jeff's work at his aunt's wedding years ago that we booked him for our wedding this past summer.

In between his aunt's wedding and our wedding, we recommended Jeff to everyone we knew who got married. My sister and her sister-in-law both used and loved Jeff. Every wedding where Jeff DJed was awesome and unique in their own ways; and all of the receptions (including my husband and I's) got so many compliments about what fun parties they were.

Our dance floor and photobooth were packed the entire night, and my new sister-in-law enjoyed our reception so much that she has already booked with Jeff/Encore for her wedding next summer.

Jeff was our DJ for our wedding in April and he was fantastic. We planned the wedding from NYC, so it was a bit hectic to coordinate from afar, but Jeff's online portal made things so simple.
Jeff is a pro in every way--he already knew our venue, having worked there before, and so I didn't have to lift a finger to help him figure out setup, timing, or anything. He worked seamlessly with our day-of planner. His team really listens to what you say--I had said no country music, and when my dad (footing the bill!) asked for a country song, Jeff's assistant found me to make sure it was ok. They played the perfect music to keep our friends and family dancing all night long. He must have some sort of age calculator he plugs you into to find all the songs that'll make you nostalgic for high school, college, etc. (but just a few songs, then it was back to new favorites).
The only reason this is a 4.9 instead of a 5 is that there were a few moments of no music / dead air right after an announcement. Like after my groom and I were introduced, there was a beat of silence before another song started playing. If this sounds like a quibble, maybe it is, but I did notice it.
I recommend Jeff to everyone getting married in the area. You will not be disappointed.

Jeff did an amazing job djing our wedding in Vail this past September. He met with us multiple times to go over our timeline and make sure we had exactly what we wanted. Every time I heard a new song and I wanted to change something he was very flexible and understanding. Jeff came HIGHLY recommended to me by one of my closest friends (who really did her research before selecting him, I might add), and I'm so thankful she introduced us. Jeff met with my now-husband (woo hoo!) and I several times over the 8 months of our engagement: From taking the time to introduce us to his super easy-to-use software, which made song selection and theme planning a breeze, to even helping us find our day-of coordinator, Jeff was a joy to work with.

Jeff knows weddings and is totally comfortable giving you advice and being creative without forcing your hand. I had big reservations about having super interactive group songs, because they can so often make things cheesy. Jeff encouraged me to keep an open mind about that, and as soon as I saw him in action, my mind was indeed totally changed. We immediately asked him to engage with the crowd as much as possible, and I wouldn't have trusted anyone else to do it right.

In a wedding market that is so often overpriced and inconsistent, Jeff is a smart, reliable, FUN and trustworthy businessman who I'd recommend to anyone.

Jeff with Encore Events did a wonderful job! Jeff worked with us to help us stay within budget. Him and his team are nothing but professional and on top of things! As expected at a wedding, things didn't necessarily go according to plan, but Jeff went with the flow and was completely flexible and accommodating. Amazing time!!!! We were able to briefly discuss our music ideas with Jeff, he executed the evening perfectly. We knew that our reception would have a good amount of country love songs, but wanted the transition into a party atmosphere. Jeff did so seamlessly. Jeff was the BEST DJ. Throughout the night he came up to me, the bride, and asked if I needed anything and to make sure everything was good. People of all ages also came up to me throughout the night and the next day raving about how good the DJ was! Jeff even helped me choose some songs leading up to the wedding when I was unable to make a decision and his choice were always perfect! No response, a complete lack of respect.

I was very excited for Jeff to DJ my upcoming wedding in December 2020! I booked him well in advance, as I knew DJ's book up quick and I wanted to ensure I had a great DJ. When the pandemic hit I was worried about having my DJ count as a guest; and I knew that dancing was not permitted in Denver county... SO I reached out to Jeff and explained where i was coming from. Jeff explained that he was not doing any sort of refund, and I could always reschedule.... For me rescheduling my wedding was not an option and for me to forfeit the deposit was also not ideal. I decided to move forward and have Jeff DJ.

At 50+- days out from the wedding the restrictions were tightened even more, and we decided we had to cancel the DJ; as all our plans were changing. All our vendors, and our venue were amazing, flexible and so great to work with... but unfortunately Jeff was not! I have called, emailed, texted, and Facebooked; no response!

I understand times are hard for businesses, they are hard for me too. I understand that not all businesses can do refunds and they need to stay afloat, but being ignored, and keeping peoples deposits for services that can not be completed is absurd. One day things will be normal again, and dancing at weddings will continue; but it is interactions like this that can cause a business to not recover from this pandemic. I hope you will consider this review when booking Jeff/Encore Entertainment.

We used Total Encore DJ for our wedding reception in October 2015. Long story short, we were unhappy with their services and would not recommend them.

Overall, it seemed like communication between the owner and the DJ/emcee didn't ever take place, as information provided to one didn't make its way to the other. Prior to the wedding, our check for final payment was mailed well before the due date, but was lost because the company's address changed and we were never updated, either by email, phone, or an updated address on the company's website. The owner paid for our fees to cancel the check and pay by credit card, so I have to say that I appreciate him doing the right thing.

On the day of the wedding, our DJ/emcee didn't even know how to pronounce the groom's last name, and had to ask some of our guests. Luckily our friends decided not to be pranksters. They let the fathers give their speeches before champagne was poured, so there was nothing to toast with. They played the cake cutting song during our entrance, so we asked them to transpose the songs so they didn't play the same one during our actual cake cutting. They played the entirely wrong genre of music during dinner. We asked for a Frank Sinatra type of vibe during dinner, and they were playing pop songs from the 80's. During the dancing portion, they played the same song more than once, and played a song a guest requested that was on our do not play list.

Most upsetting of all, they played the wrong version of our first dance song, that we had taken dance lessons for and had choreographed down to the second. We had taken weekly dance lessons for about 9 months prior to the wedding, and this was stressed to the owner during the planning session, and to the DJ on the day of the wedding. The DJ played the opening of the song for me ahead of time, which sounded correct, but was a minute shorter compared to the original version we had choreographed.
