Amazing time!
Steve was amazing from the first sit down. We joked that his tagline should be “adapt and overcome” and it should be! I was a procrastinator and didn’t finish my music selection until the night before and everything was perfect! He had everyone dancing the entire night! Music and food make a wedding and I scored 10s across the board with EMS dj and photobooth! Highly recommend for a bride who just wants an easy, stress free planning with an AMAZING, upbeat wedding!-

We got married at a zoo. We needed a DJ who was able to move from the Jaguar Exhibit where we had dinner to a hall on the same property for cake/dessert during a break that was about 10 minutes long. This means we needed two setups, a vendor who was willing to make a seamless transition, someone who was extremely considerate of time, and most importantly someone to design a playlist that was both pleasing to the guests but also respectful to the animals surrounding us. We spoke with a lot of people. Steve from EMS was the only person to make us feel confident that the job was doable, and he was actually really excited about taking it on. There were a lot of obstacles, and I really have to give EMS Entertainment the respect they 100% deserve for being true professionals and awesome to work with. Weddings can be stressful. Working with this DJ was not. -

Tom was our DJ and he was great! He even was able to add a last minute song to our playlist, literally the morning of, and did not skip a beat! He kept the ambiance very fluid and set a perfect backbone to our reception!
Also - EBE provided us with a Photobooth that everyone LOVED! -

When I started planning my wedding, I knew I wanted Scott as my DJ. I had seen and heard great reviews and had seen him perform in a club setting before. Luckily, he was available on the date of the wedding.
Scott was AMAZING to work with. He answered all my questions (which were a ton) and even provided helpful suggestions and feedback. He thought of things I NEVER would have thought of (such as cake cutting music) and provided me with numerous ideas for songs.
I got married the weekend that Jaquin decided to hit the East Coast. Scott drove all the way from New Jersey to Virginia, in Hurricane weather, just to keep his promise to DJ the wedding. That's more than 6 hours in the driving wind and rain!! He arrived a day early to scope out the setup and the day of he showed up on time and was flexible with the change in locations because of the weather. He did a great job of wrangling everyone together and keeping them on schedule.
The music selections were ON POINT and our wedding song brought tears to my eyes. One thing I did not expect, was to see a spotlight hologram of our names and the wedding date floating around on the dance floor. It was a nice added touch.
Throughout the reception, Scott kept EVERYONE on the dance floor, even though the weather was crappy. Since it was a military wedding, he even played into the services rivalries. He was entertaining, funny, and absolutely professional. There are not enough words to describe how thrilled I am with Scott's work.

Steve Hawk is an amazing DJ! He was the DJ for our wedding ceremony and reception on August 30, 2014. He played every song that we wanted and did so many things to make us and our guest happy and have a good time. He was understanding, accepting, upbeat, and the best possible DJ that we could have ever asked for! I could not thank Steve or EMS Entertainment for the amazing job that was done! -

EMS Entertainment DJ's did an outstanding job at my son's wedding...All the guests had a fantastic time!! There was even a few moments of panic when the bride forgot to get "their" song to the DJ and by some miracle Steve was able to find it on my son's phone and play it for them all while keeping the action on the dance floor flowing....So awesome....Thanks again Steve for your professionalism, courtesy and patience as well as all the fun you provided for their special day, one that they will always remember as we will too!!......The photo booth really made the day that much more special for bride, groom and guests as well...The pictures came out awesome and the book containing all the pics was handed to them that day made especially for their wedding......We just wish that the person working the photo booth mentioned to the guests about the video part of it....Most of the guests didn't even know that they could leave a message for the bride and groom...We only had six videos on our final CD.....but other than that...all went well.....The props were amazing..... -

I was extremely pleased with the DJ services provided by Ems Entertainment. Steve arrived early and welcomed any requests we made. He was very polite and professional and was able to quickly sense what time of music the guests enjoyed and kept the party going all night. did a wonderful job for my wedding really knew how to work with a firehouse crowd. really made the time amazing for me and my husband would have loved to enjoy all five hours but was 7 and half months pregnant had to leave at 3 hours for contractions . didn't make me pay for all five hours really works with you and makes your dreams for your reception come true -

The Best Choice for a DJ!! I am so happy that my husband and I chose EMS Entertainment for our Wedding. Steve, (the owner and our DJ) was very helpful when we met before the Wedding for song choices. He made sure the day of the wedding that songs I didn't care for weren't played if requested by guests. We had people on the dance floor the whole night, and a year and a half later I still have people mention to me how much fun they had at our wedding reception. Their prices are reasonable and their service is excellent, pick EMS Entertainment if you want to have the Wedding Reception of your dreams!! -

He captivated the whole crowd, was personable and funny with sounds and songs on Que.. I don't think there was a moment the dance floor was empty! I would recommend him for any size group he played a fantastic range of music that was for any one from grand mom to the young-ins. The props he provided made for fun and funny pictures throughout the night. Perfect for any event wedding or just a party! Thank you for a memorable evening. -
