The best!!

Emma took beautiful photos of everyone at our wedding! She is so kind and talented. My husband and I are both really shy and she immediately put us at ease and made sure to always make us look amazing. She took the time and care to get shots of every little detail from the decorations to the jewelry to some great candids at the reception. We feel so lucky to have been able to work with her and would do so again in a heartbeat!

Emma was beyond amazing during our special day! Our engagement & wedding photos were everything I could’ve dreamed of, she did amazing work. She also went above and beyond, & was amazing at helping me stay calm throughout our whole day! She’s an amazing photographer & amazing person!

Emma is absolutely amazing and made our dreams come true through our wedding photos. They are everything we could’ve ever dreamed them to be and more. They turned out so breathtaking, we get emotional every time we look at them and so do our family and friends. Emma was such a pleasure to work with and I have already recommended her to so many. Not only is she an amazing photographer, she is an amazing person with the sweetest soul. We can’t thank Emma enough for being the person to capture the best day of our lives.

Emma was absolutely incredible to work with! I was planning a wedding from out of state and she was always quick to respond to all of my questions; especially the few weeks before when I kept changing my mind about timelines or had a million questions. Emma made us feel so comfortable, which was great because my husband can become very "deer in headlights" in front of the camera. We received our photos from her pretty quickly, and they were even better than I could have dreamed. If you want someone who can beautifully capture all the candid and special moments from your day, Emma is the photographer for you. I would recommend her to anyone looking for gorgeous photos. I still can't believe how reasonable her prices are, and for the incredible quality of her work. Hire her. You will not regret it!

My husband and I are SO glad that we booked Emma as our photographer at our wedding! The photographs are breathtaking, and I now have so many wonderful tangible reminders of that special day that I will cherish forever. We are extremely happy with how well everything turned out. Emma is an extremely talented photographer, and her and her assistant were professional and accommodating. I would recommend Emma Marie Photography a thousand times over. Emma is also fun and personable; she provided us with helpful guidance when taking pictures (pose suggestions, where to look, etc) that really enhanced the way our pictures came out. She has a sharp eye for natural backgrounds and vantage points. I could go on and on, but the gist of my review is - book Emma and you won't regret it!!

My husband and I are so glad we went with Emma as our wedding photographer! She really captured everything and was such a joy to work with. We cried when we got our gallery because they were better than we even imagined. She even sent us the sweetest card afterwards and the cutest USB stick holding our entire gallery. She is super talented and I couldn't imagine having anyone else photograph our wedding!

Emma was amazing to work with. I initially found her when I told my bridesmaids, during an especially emotional time period, that I didn't think I would be able to afford professional photography. One bridesmaid had a friend who said she hadn't spent out of my budget, so I jumped. It didn't hurt that her photos turned out GORGEOUS. I couldn't believe it, what a find! The photos were romantic and artsy, and I was trying to avoid the totally commercial feel. I was so excited to find Emma! I ended up going with the 6 hour session, which saved money and Emma still gave me SO MANY PHOTOS! She said to expect approx 100 per hour and I believe she out did that. She was so helpful and accommodating. I even switched scheduling the week before the wedding, moving our time slot 2 hours earlier because I decided last minute that we wanted to do first look photos. She said it wasn't a problem at all, and that's why she never double books wedding days. Such a relief. The photos turned out gorgeous, better than I could have hoped for, and she was so fun to work with. My husband was grouchy about taking photos, but even he had fun! Emma was always responsive to texts, even when I asked the same questions time after time because of bride brain, and was super quick to get edited photos back. She gave a complimentary engagement shoot, which we did the week before the wedding because of scheduling conflicts (we were out of town). She got the photos back AND PRINTED in two days flat!! It was miraculous, and we were able to put the printed photos out as decoration at our wedding. Then, she got most of the wedding album back within a week of the wedding! She gave us photos that are so special and heart warming to remember our day of love. Without a doubt, this was the best money that I have ever spent.

Emma photographed my small wedding held at my grandmother's house and just did a beautiful job. She was super responsive, very accommodating (my husband and I opted to have prints of the wedding photos made rather than do an engagement shoot), and, most importantly, just captured some of the best moments of the day. I couldn't be happier.

Emma is the best! My husband and I are so thankful to have had her as our wedding photographer. Weddings are stressful and things never go as planned, but Emma was calm, kind, and professional the entire day -- it made all the difference for me. When our timeline did not go as planned, not only was she understanding of it, she also went out of her way to update the DJ to be sure he was aware of the changes. I loved working with Emma from the beginning -- I was nervous for our engagement pictures (we had a bad experience a few months before) but Emma made it a fun and easy experience! Our engagement pictures were absolutely beautiful and our sneak peek photos from our wedding are breathtaking, I cannot wait to see the rest. Thank you, Emma!

Emma was a wonderful photographer for our wedding. She worked with us for our fairly non-traditional wedding in a remote location in Northern New Mexico. We love the photos and will cherish them always. We can't wait to do another photo shoot for our anniversary next year!

Emma did an incredible job capturing our day and was so fun and pleasant to work with. We booked her over a year out because we were so impressed with her portfolio online and even more impressed when we went to meet her for an idea/introduction session. I knew she could take gorgeous photos but I'm even more impressed with the actual photos we received from our wedding, they came out better than I could have imagined! Emma is very professional, laid-back, flexible and her confidence in our big day and photos gave us confidence and allowed us to be calm and relaxed throughout the day which in turn created some really fun, sweet pictures and memories. The photos she took of my husband, me, our families and friends are ones that we will treasure forever.

Emma was simply amazing! She is efficient, talented, patient and kind! Of course we wanted amazing pictures, but we didn't want to spend hours posing. She was the perfect fit; she was able to get though our family pictures and romantics with enough time for us to sit, have a drink and take it all in before the reception! She was perfect!

Emma was absolutely amazing to work with. I initially found Emma through TheKnot and emailed her right away after viewing her work. I lived in Kansas City at the time so we Facetimed where our personalities clicked right away. She is undoubtedly the kindest and most professional photographer I have ever worked with. On my wedding day, she made sure to capture those special moments I wanted and worked so well with our wedding party of 24!! Words cannot express how grateful I am to have shared my special day with her. I highly recommend her. Emma is the sweetest photographer I have ever worked with. She met with my husband and I several times to get to know us, and to make sure she knew what kind of photos we would like. She was very cautious of a few family situations we have to make sure family also felt comfortable during pictures. She made me feel completely calm and at ease on our wedding day. She never made us feel like she was rushing any of us or felt like we were running out of time for pictures! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful, talwntwd, and sweet photographer.

Emma shot our wedding Sept. 3, 2016. Emma was sweet and of the 3 interviewed photographers, Emma spent the most time answering questions and just getting to know us. Her pricing was right along the others but her time, attention, and detail set her apart from everyone else. She was professional yet willing to take shots my husband and I wanted to try. I wanted a special grooms gift so I did a boudior shoot. She made it fun and made me feel beautiful. My hubby loved the boudoir album! Her "goodie" package after my wedding was thoughtful and sweet! She had a fun and great 2nd shooter as well! I wasn't thrilled with my wedding venue but at the end of the day Emma made it look beautiful!! She shot outdoors as well as the indoors and well thanks to her I forgot about the bad service and incomplete details NOT provided by the Hotel. She's LOVELY. I still follow her FB and IG page.

My fiance and I feel so fortunate to have Emma Marie Photography as our wedding photographer! She has been extremely professional and helpful from the first time we contacted her. We had our engagement shoot this past weekend and Emma made it fun and effortless and our pictures are just beautiful!! I really appreciate the natural beauty that comes from her work. She helped guide us since we're not used to being in front of the camera and the pictures are so special. I absolutely can't wait for the wedding, I can only imagine how beautiful the pictures will turn out. I appreciate how quickly she got the photos to us, much faster than I thought! I also appreciate her multiple package options, and how she incorporates nature in her photos. We are so happy that we were able to have Emma Marie as our wedding photographer. She is so friendly and incredible to work with. After we received our beautiful engagement photos, we were so excited for Emma to capture our wedding. The finished wedding photos were absolutely perfect. In addition to a few traditional photos, many of our photos had that magic candid feeling and looked like works of art. It was nearly impossible for us to pick our favorites. Not only is Emma a talented photographer, but she is also very thoughtful and she added a few extra, unexpected little gifts along the way. We will always treasure our photos and we hope that Emma will photograph other special events for us in the future.

Emma Marie Photography was the perfect option for my husband and I. She catered to our requests and was able to accommodate us exactly as we needed. Emma is awesome! She photographed my wedding in June as well as an engagement session last fall. The photography was extremely important to me as I planned my wedding and I could not be happier with the results! Emma captured many special moments in such a beautiful way and I am so thankful. She is also super quick to respond and in her turn around time, a great coach, and knows how to use that natural light to produce stunning photos. (Bonus: she doesn't hold your photographs hostage like some photographers do!) I am so grateful I got the opportunity to work with Emma and would definitely use her again!

I emailed Emma to get details. She replied very quickly was excited and straightforward from the beginning. My fiance and I are both graduate students, he was preparing to move out of town for several weeks, and I work full time so schedules are hectic- she kindly agreed to meet over Facetime. When I told her that we wanted to include our dog in engagement photos and that she would be coming to the wedding, Emma was thrilled and was more than accommodating. When we first booked with her, our wedding date was in June, but circumstances changed and we had to move our date to August. Emma was flexible with this as well- our deposit transferred and she just edited our contract. Then, she and her assistant photographer were adventurous in allowing us to take them to a spot -requiring a hike - in the foothills for our engagement session - it was windy and freezing, but the photos really turned out beautifully. Neither of us is particularly photogenic, or have had professional photos taken before, but Emma did the perfect amount of coaching and allowing us to be ourselves. She even captured our dog perfectly. Not to mention, she had the photos edited and sent us the link to the online album THAT SAME DAY. Plus, she sent us a USB of all the photos because she knows some folks have a printing budget. Emma is easy to communicate with. She is flexible and kind. Our photos are wonderful.

It has been great working with Emma. She is friendly, flexible, prompt and so talented. I initially thought that getting engagement photos taken would be a bit awkward because I don't feel very natural in front of a camera, but Emma made our session easy and fun. We LOVE the way our photos turned out. We are so impressed with their quality and style. We wanted whimsical and artful photos rather than very traditional, and Emma was a great fit. I will highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer.

We (as well as the rest of our family) were very pleased with Emma Marie Photography for our wedding reception last June 2015. The pictures were cute and flattering, and she was very careful about the lighting, which ensured that all the pictures turned out well. In fact, the photos of my husband are perhaps the best photos we have ever had of him (or probably will ever have). There were also many great candid shots of family and friends. Were we to ever need a photographer again, we would go back to Emma Marie.

Emma was absolutely beyond amazing! She was extremely flexible with my busy schedule, which reduced a lot of stress on my part. We had to reschedule our engagement shoot due to inclement weather a few times and she was so patient about it all. She not only did an outstanding job on the photos that she took, but she made it so much fun! She got all the pictures back to me so quickly too. She is truly just wonderful!

My new husband and I booked Emma about 14 months before our recent wedding. I discovered her from this site and loved her photography and style. We found her to be a great (and very fast) communicator from the beginning. She was quick to answer emails, inquiries, and eventually text messages after we established a business relationship with her.

Part of our wedding package included an engagement session which we did last fall. We used a few of her suggested locations and she was helpful in discussing props (signs/etc...) that could be used and tips about what to wear. We were nervous to have our pictures taken but Emma quickly set us at ease. Some of her snaps while we were being candid (and not posed) ended up being our favorite photos. She has a great eye for timing.

We met a few more times as we got closer to the wedding to talk about details and timelines. The day of the wedding, Emma brought a second photographer with her which was helpful knowing they would have multiples of different shots/parts of the wedding. Throughout the day she was great at providing gentle direction to us with posed photos while letting us also enjoy our wedding day and guests. We were very comfortable with her by the day of the wedding and honestly her photos are gorgeous! She caught all the little details throughout the day that we'd spent so much time working on and planning (partially due to us meeting ahead of time and talking about those important details!). Emma also snapped great candid photos of us and our guests throughout the day and especially took some lovely photos of the kids!

We were incredibly impressed with the speed the photos came back and that we could share our gallery with family who wanted to order pictures! We cannot wait to design our albums with Emma (and to hopefully work with her in the future for more photos!). We highly recommend her and her work, it's a great combination of value for really professional work. We were thrilled.

My husband and I had a D.I.Y. wedding on a tight budget. I am out of state so I looked high and low for the best photography option. Emma was one of the only photographers that offered different packages that could work for different budgets. As soon as I talked to Emma on the phone I knew we would be in good hands. As other items were cut due to our budget I kept telling myself the photographs would be important. THANK GOODNESS we did not cut the photograph budget, or have a friend or family member take them! Emma was amazing throughout the process, she was not only professional but personal and I can’t imagine a better person to have around you on such a big day. It was the one item I didn’t have to worry about. The photos were stunning, and it was the first time someone captured the love between my husband, my stepson, and myself. Emma doesn’t just take a photo she magically captures the emotion behind everything. It was the best gift we could have given ourselves! I would not hesitate to recommend Emma to everyone for their photography needs. Thank you Emma, I am so grateful for that you took photos for us!

Emma is amazing. She will not disappoint and snaps every moment as it should be. She caught the real us in photographs. She doesn't give you "Glamour" shots and over posed wedding photos, but instead captures the emotions of the moment perfectly. Her photographic eye, editing and her touch on the photos are impressive. She also happens to have the best turn around times I have ever seen. Emma is an amazing person and photographer. She will never stray you wrong.

We love Emma Marie Photography.
First and foremost, she takes stunning photographs. She was totally responsive to our personalities and style, and it is absolutely apparent in the finished product. Emma has a gift for capturing sweet, intimate, unposed moments.

Emma was also a joy to work with. Se is kind, smart, funny and attentive. After meeting with her just a pair of times I felt like I was talking to an old friend. Again, I think the relationship that she built with us really shows up in the way she captured us and our wedding.

In addition to doing great work, Emma adds beautiful little treats and surprises to every step of planning your wedding. I won't give anything away, but I have to say that I was really impressed with her attention to the smallest details:)

Emma Marie was so great. My fiance and I are not the most comfortable in front of the camera, but she made it really easy for us! We've only had our engagement session so far and loved it and cannot wait to see how are wedding photos will come out! With all the craziness that comes with planning a wedding, she made thinks easier by being able to respond quickly to whatever questions I had.

Emma is wonderful! We choose Emma for her photographic eye for our September wedding. Last weekend we took engagement photos with Emma on Saturday afternoon and by Sunday morning she had them to us. Everyone loves them including us and says she has captured "us". She allowed us to choose our own place and the. found the specific spots that would work for the photos. She sees photos before she takes them. She knows what she is doing and guides you so well. We felt at ease and completely natural with her. I highly recommend Emma.

Emma is an absolute joy to work with, as well as an outstanding photographer! I planned my wedding from out of state and was thrilled that she was willing to Skype with me, and have many phone calls to ensure that we got everything we wanted for our special day. Emma Marie Photography did absolutely amazing for my wedding. From the start communication was easy and professional. Packages for all budget types and complimentary photos. Lived in another state and had no problems booking them. Talked on Skype and got to know us as a couple became a friend. listened to all my ideas and got every shot i asked for. Talented artist with great composition and editing. I struck gold with finding Emma Marie Photography in New Mexico. We picked a venue outside Santa Fe, NM and weren't charged travel fees from Albuquerque like most photographers charge. You won't be let down, but instead truly pleased and impressed.

Emma photographed my wedding in May at Sandia. She asked to meet us prior to the wedding so she could ask us questions about what kind of wedding photos we wanted, which I really liked! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU HIRE EMMA MARIE PHOTOGRAPHY! The all caps were on purpose. She is an amazing photographer and we are in love with our wedding photos. Another photographer took my engagement photos and they were awful. I believed I was the most unphotogenic person in the world. Emma’s photos were so natural and fun and bright, you can see the love and joy in the photos and she got some amazing shots. We’re blown away. At first we were a little leery of the cost because I’m the most unphotogenic person ever... remember? But she is worth every penny!! You won’t be disappointed. 5 stars all the way
