  The reviews on here are not all fair, but I can only share my experience. Here's a little short background info... I did not have a traditional dress shopping/fittings/tailoring experience. I bought my wedding dress online (originally from David's Bridal), so I was pretty nervous about trying on a dress that I didn't know would fit let alone fit properly. I received it in the mail, loved it, but it needed to be taken at the hips. I looked up bridal seamstresses, as I had read that not all seamstresses are created equal and they don't all have experience with bridal gowns. I was terrified about leaving my dress in the hands of someone that would cut my dress open because I knew there was pretty much no turning back from that if something went wrong. But I went with my gut feeling, left her my dress, and she returned it perfectly!!!!!!!!! I absolutely loved my dress, and you would never know it was altered in any way because it is seamless. She also added a bustle to it. I would recommend Emma and her partner with my eyes closed.

  I CANNOT say enough nice things about Emma and her staff. First of all her work is absolute perfection, from the second I put the dress on she knew exactly what had to be done without me having to utter a single word. Second by the end of the process they all feel like family, Emma and her assistant are so sweet! Third the value for the quality can't be beat. At my final fitting my dress was perfect, far beyond what I thought my dress could be. She also worked on my mom's dress and two of my bridesmaids and I think they all feel the same way. I will be going to Emma for all of my alteration needs and I strongly encourage all of the nervous brides to take their dresses to Emma and have their minds put at ease!

  I have very mixed feelings about this vendor. Her quality is really incredible, hands down the best I've seen. She fixed my wedding gown beautifully. However, customer service was ridiculous. My dress wasn't even started when I came to pick it up (and yes, I had made an appointment) and she did not even apologize. Then I came back the next day and she had it done but she was incredibly rude, and wanted to overcharge me. We had agreed on $200 and I sent her the receipt just as she asked me to, but then she tried to charge me $25 extra. Her assistant was also pretty pushy, which just irritated me. I'm sure she meant well, but she wouldn't stop telling me what to wear and how to stand and forcing me to take pictures. It was really annoying. I did love the quality of work, but I did not appreciate the attitude. I won't come back again. If you want great quality work you will get it here, but it wasn't a pleasant experience at all.

  DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! I went to her because of the reviews on yelp. However, i guess those reviews were for fixing the lenght on cloths or something like that. SHE CANNOT BUILD A DRESS TO SAVE HER LIFE. i bought a very expensive fabric and brought her a picture of what i wanted. I only needed for her to tdo the top of the dress. When i went for a fitting it was NOTHING like what i wanted and she has the BALLS to blame it on you! I swear.
  Since the fabric was already cut i let her finish what she started. Sure enough when i go for my next fitting there was a bride there with my exact same issue. SHE DID NOT DO WHAT SHE WAS ASKED TO DO! When that bride left she started saying nasty things about her. On this fitting i realized i couldn't move my arms (it was a long sleeve top) and she got pissed at me. Who the hell is this my fault? Isn't she supposed to measure my arms and make sure i can dance on my wedding?! She managed to ruin my day and stress me out every single time i went there.
  
  On top pf everything i mentioned.. she had the balls again to change the price to $150 more of what we agreed on because she had to "make changes to the dress" HOWEVER, my weight never changed, the sleeves never changed, the neckline never changed. She only had to fix what SHE did wrong which was the sleeves!
  
  The wedding dress should be a good process not a HORRIBLE process. I was not happy with my dress because even the finishes on it were extremely sloppy.

  Worst experience ever!!!! I went to Emma to make simple alterations to my wedding dress and she ruined my dress. She cut too much at the bottom, and my dress was extremely short on me. The worst part about it is that she had a terrible attitude and did not want to fix it. I had to find another seamstress to add lace at the bottom of the dress and make it longer.
  
  Emma is by far the most unprofessional person Ive ever dealt with in a store. Not to mention her customer service skills are out the window. This lady has a terrible attitude.
  
  Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!

  Worst experience ever!!!! I went to Emma to make simple alterations to my wedding dress and she ruined my dress. She cut too much at the bottom, and my dress was extremely short on me. The worst part about it is that she had a terrible attitude and did not want to fix it. I had to find another seamstress to add lace at the bottom of the dress and make it longer.
  
  Emma is by far the most unprofessional person Ive ever dealt with in a store. Not to mention her customer service skills are out the window. This lady has a terrible attitude.
