Emily Wren and her husband Gregg (Wren Films) are the ultimate power couple that you NEED capturing your wedding. We have been laughing and crying looking over the photos and videos in the very best way. It was an honor to have such a fun loving and energetic team capturing our special day. We had Emily, Gregg, Gabby, Nick, and Stan on photo/video for our wedding weekend, and the entire team are true professionals. The attention to detail is simply unparalleled. From adjusting the train of my dress to the perfect position, to micing my husband up for our private vows so we could record them but then physically giving us more space so the vows could feel private... Emily and her team know the precise moments when it's best that they disappear into the periphery versus when to get up close and personal with us to inject some humor into a moment with us. This sensitivity and awareness is key when photographing a wedding day and the team could not have executed their jobs more flawlessly. Stan did an incredible job with our film shots, Gabby was an absolute joy to work with at our rehearsal dinner, and Nick, clad with a miniature speaker on his belt loop, was on the money all day capturing the groomsmen and assisting as second shooter for the rest of the day. Emily, Gregg, and the team are not only true artists and professionals, but they are genuinely the most high quality humans and the exact type of people you want to surround you on the most important day of your life. We truly feel they are apart of our village now! It is a special privilege to share your wedding day with a couple who obviously loves each other so much because it uplifts the whole vibe of your day- trust me, hire them both!! Our only regret about hiring Emily Wren photography and Wren Films is that we don't have another event coming up in the near future. We're chomping at the bit for our next excuse to hire them again! -

We are so happy that we chose Emily to be part of our wedding day! When deciding what was important to us for our wedding day, we knew a great photographer was high on the list because they are capturing the memories you will look at for the rest of your lives. We knew early on we wanted Emily to be that person given the work we had seen of hers and all of the amazing things everyone has to say about her and her team. The pictures turned out to be everything we could have wanted - timeless and authentic to the day, to us, and to the memories being made by the people who were there. She captured all of the special moments we are so happy we can look back on and relive.
Emily was amazing to work with throughout the entire process. From initial booking, to our engagement session, organizing the timeline and shot list for the day, how she showed up for us day of, to getting our final albums, she was always so professional, responsive, organized, calming, creative, and just overall kind.
Her and Nick were a joy to have with us on our wedding day! They both had such great energy and positive vibes, making us feel relaxed and that we could be present during the whole day, knowing they would get the job done! They really captured and embraced the emotions of the day. We can't recommend Emily enough! -

From the very beginning, Emily’s communication and organization gave us so much confidence and peace of mind. She was thoughtful, responsive, and incredibly intentional — we always felt supported and understood throughout the entire process.
On the wedding day itself, Emily and her team brought such a calming, warm presence. They made us feel completely comfortable and at ease, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy every moment. Nothing ever felt forced or rushed — everything felt natural, relaxed, and genuinely joyful. Our families and bridal party commented on how kind, professional, and easy her team was to be around.
And the photos… we are absolutely blown away. Emily captured our day in a way that feels romantic, authentic, and timeless — every image tells a story and brings us right back to how we felt in those moments. She didn’t just document the day; she captured the emotion, the connection, and the in‑between moments we’ll treasure forever.

We are so happy we made the decision to book with Emily Wren! She was the epitome of calm, cool and collected on our wedding day and the photos we received absolutely lived up to expectations. We were specifically looking for a photographer who would be confident capturing a couple with different skin tones and she did not let us down! For our engagement shoot, we did half of the shoot in our apartment and the second half strolling the Princeton campus. Naturally, it’s such an intimate thing letting someone into your home to photograph so we were a bit nervous. That said, from the moment Emily came into our space, she made us feel so comfortable and the pictures reflect that. Our wedding day was no different as she (and Ryan) made us, our families, and guests feel completely at home. Simply put, Emily is the best. She’s the picture of professionalism, she’s absolutely a blast to work with, and the pictures you receive are genuinely magazine quality. -

One of the best things that made our wedding day PERFECT- was Emily Wren Photography and her team. We had a detailed itinerary of where and what we had to do, that was exactly what WE wanted to do as a couple. She made everything work out perfectly and was such a calming presence to have by my side. I put all my faith in Emily as I did not have to worry about missing anything. We were all able to be in the moment which let every single person in our wedding party be able to enjoy our day - instead of coordinating each bridesmaid's jobs to remember to check off throughout the night. I would recommend Emily to another bride or couple in a heartbeat as I know I will be doing for my 3 brothers who are next in line. Living in Florida while coordinating a Philadelphia wedding was almost do I say...too easy? Being able to jump on a call with her to talk through the things that we wanted was able to help alleviate any stress or details that might get lost through emails/texts. They were all so accommodating of our work schedules and nailed every detail that we discussed over ONLY texts, emails, and phone calls down perfectly - Having never met her in person! EMILY, you are the best!!! -

We are beyond thrilled with our experience with Emily Wren Photography and cannot recommend them enough! From the very first moment we met Sarah at our engagement session, we were completely smitten with her. Her energy and demeanor are so genuine and authentic—it was clear right away that we had made the perfect choice. She immediately made us feel at ease and created such a fun, relaxed atmosphere. We instantly fell in love with her and that feeling only grew stronger as our wedding day approached.
Emily was an absolute dream to work with in the lead-up to our big day. She was such a fantastic communicator, always responsive and thoughtful in her approach and has a keen eye for attention to detail. We felt so supported and informed throughout the entire planning process and she really helped us feel confident in the decisions we were making.
On our wedding day, Sarah was like spending time with a best friend. She fit right in and was one of us. Her kindness, fun-loving spirit and conscientious attention to detail made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. She was mindful of every moment, capturing all the beautiful shots without us even noticing and made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. Sarah knew the special relationship Laura (the bride) had with her late grandfather and the mutual love they shared for the moon. As a surprise, Sarah captured the moon on our wedding night and that’s a photo Laura holds so close to her heart. Caroline was a perfect complement to Sarah, bringing her own warmth and energy to the day. She was just as present and comfortable to be with, making the entire photography experience seamless. The two of them together were a dream team and we couldn't have asked for a better duo to capture our special day.
We truly felt so lucky to have Sarah, Caroline and Emily by our side. Their professionalism, care and enthusiasm made the photography aspect of our wedding day so easy and stress-free. We honestly want to shout our love and gratitude for them from the rooftops. They captured our day beautifully and we will forever cherish the memories they helped us create. -

Emily and her husband, Gregg, (Wren Films) completely transformed our Wedding day!! They were both absolutely magnificent to work with and the photos are beyond our wildest dreams! They are truly masters of their craft. I have had countless people reach out to me asking who our photographer was!! Emily's ability to read the scene and scenery, and everything going on around it is astonishing. We are so lucky to have had her for our wedding day. The moment Emily and Gregg showed up, my husband and I, along with both bridal parties felt so comfortable! The best photography team!
Getting the chance to work with Emily and her team was one of the highlights of our wedding planning experience. After checking out her work I knew I had to act quickly and was thrilled to be able to work with her!
From the start Emily makes this special time in your life feel that much more important - she was so kind and sent a sweet gift that included vow books we ended up using on our wedding day. The prep pre-wedding is also very efficient and helped guide other timelines for the big day.
Sarah on her team shot our engagement photos and our wedding day, along with her second shooter Stan. The photos are stunning and Sarah was great about keeping us on schedule and handling a very large bridal party with ease while also making taking tons of photos fun! Stan was a great addition and it was wonderful to have a second shooter - we knew everything was covered.
I will sound like a broken record to repeat after other reviewers but Emily’s style and editing is truly timeless. I can’t stop looking at the pictures and smiling at the moments that were captured. They are light, refreshing, beautiful and most importantly feel like us. Not overly produced like some wedding photos can be. This set of photos is something we will treasure and appreciate always, especially so many beautiful photos of us as a couple but also the people who love and support us. I recommend Emily and team without hesitation!

Beautiful Family Photos!
Emily Wren has now captured maternity, newborn, and first year of life photos for both of my sons (in addition to our engagement and wedding photos). Emily is so warm and caring and is able to put everyone at ease in front of the camera no matter the circumstances. She is phenomenal with kids and makes each session feel effortless. Not to mention the photos she delivers are beautiful and feel authentic and timeless. We 100% recommend her services and will continue to be repeat customers! -

Finding and choosing Emily Wren is the best decision we made for our wedding. Not only was Emily one of the kindest and easiest people to work with, but she also captured memories of our wedding that will last long beyond the day itself. Emily and Gregg were the perfect blend of professional and creating a personalized experience that made us feel like old friends. Nick, our second shooter, was cracking us (and our guests) up all night long, and we were honored to have a beautiful married couple share our day with us. If you would like pictures that truly capture the love you have for your partner, look no further. Hiring Emily was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day, and we're eternally grateful for the beautiful and emotional photos she captured of us and our guests. Our friends and family can't stop raving about how kind, organized, and caring she and her team were; she made everyone feel comfortable (not posed or rushed) in front of the camera and kept the day moving with ease.
Not to mention, leading up to the wedding, Emily organized multiple meetings to iron out all the details, ensuring our timeline was custom to how we wanted the day to flow. When we had rain on our wedding day, she quickly pivoted and offered new solutions and locations to shoot, all while sticking to the timeline and limiting any stress. From the moment we got engaged (honestly, even before then), I knew I wanted Emily to photograph our wedding. I had followed her on instagram for a while by then, and her ability to capture pure, authentic joy and love is, in my opinion, second to none. We met with Emily as soon as we picked our date and connected with her right away. She is kind, warm, and so supportive. Even when our wedding planning became a disaster, and we changed venues to an entirely different state, her enthusiasm for us and her commitment to our day never wavered. On our wedding day, she and her husband Gregg radiated the same joy and enthusiasm as us. We felt so comfortable with them capturing our day, like our best friends were behind the cameras. Our photos came out perfect, even more than I thought possible. She never felt intrusive in moments, blending into the background, but ensuring every photo we wanted was captured. Her editing style is timeless and authentic, which was important to us both as an interracial couple (usually, filters tend to flatter one of us more than the other).
Gregg was our videographer, too, and he needs as much of a loving shout out as Emily. We hadn’t met Gregg prior to our wedding day, but we knew having a husband & wife team would result in magic. We were right! Every time I watch our video back, I cry like a baby. Gregg caught the most beautiful moments of our day, even moments I missed myself. Paired with our photos, our day really comes alive again. Watching Emily and Gregg bounce ideas off each other, too, was such a fun experience. The best advice I have for brides is: (1) do not skip videography, and (2) if you book Emily, you have to book Gregg, too!
If it isn’t obvious enough already, from the bottom of my heart I cannot say enough good things about Emily, Gregg, and their teams. If we could do it all again with them, I would in a heartbeat. For us, we knew photos and video would be the most important investment so the memories of our day never leave us. I couldn’t be any happier with the memories we will have for the rest of our lives, and can’t wait to share them with our children one day. -

Emily Wren was the first vendor we booked after the venue and it was one of the best decisions, we made during the entire wedding process! Photography is so important to us and we knew Emily and her team were the best through reviews and following her on social media for a few years prior to getting engaged. Not only is her editing beautiful but also, she has an eye for capturing the perfect moment and capturing the light in such a way that makes her photos stand out. After first inquiring, Emily sent over a beautiful and professional package with her story, photo packages and pricing. We decided to book the package that allowed us to include an engagement shoot and I definitely recommend! It was a great way to get to know Emily a bit before the wedding and her shooting style. During the entire process everything was a breeze. She responded right away, gave us an easy way to schedule any meeting with her and a very detailed timeline for the wedding day! She even hopped on a call with our planner to make sure everyone was on the same page. During the day of the wedding Emily and her associate photographer Caroline were wonderful to work with. Together they were able to capture all the moments we wanted to remember and all the ones we weren't there to see. They knew exactly when and where to make suggestions and when and where to capture those impromptu moments. Ken especially appreciated Caroline keeping him and the groomsmen organized but light hearted before the ceremony. We are forever grateful for Emily Wren and her team capturing our day. The photos are stunning, beautifully captured and something we will cherish for the rest of our lives! We cannot wait to see how the wedding album turns out next and excited to continue to work with Emily for a couple months more. Her professionalism and wonderful personality made this whole process a pleasure for us. We could not recommend Emily and her team enough and hope to continue to have Emily capture more of our most important life moments in the future. -

We loved working with Emily and her team for our wedding, they were spectacular!! From the beginning they sent us a lovely gift to congratulate us on our engagement, to being professional/making it feel natural during our engagement shoot and to being timely, professional, and fun throughout our wedding day. They really made it easy and not stressful, especially as a bride who doesn’t like her photo taken ;) We booked Sarah as our lead photographer and she was AMAZING!! She kept everyone moving and made the day effortless, we were on time for everything! Emily is amazing!
From her responsiveness, honesty, kind demeanor, and beautiful work, Emily is the best of the best! She is so extremely talented and we couldn’t be happier with how our wedding photos turned out. Despite not doing an engagement shoot, Emily was able to get to know us prior to our wedding and suggest all of the best poses for my husband and I on the day of. Her calm yet fun personality was a perfect match for me and my girls while we were getting ready and during bridal party photos. Her associate Nick (our second shooter) is a breath of fresh air and brought the energy to keep the nerves at bay. We were also very lucky to have had Nick capture a special small backyard “wedding” last year with my 95 year old grandfather. These pictures from Emily and Nick are ones we will truly cherish forever and we couldn’t be more grateful for the role they played in our wedding(s)! -

The BEST wedding photographer - warmth, the perfect balance of easygoing and assertive, and incredibly natural photos
Getting Emily and her husband, Gregg, to capture our wedding was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our whole wedding. From the first phone call, Emily was so warm and easy to work with and made us feel like were in great hands - she understood exactly what we wanted and assuaged all of our fears. We had the same experience when we later decided to add on videography and had a phone call with her husband, Gregg. On the day of, Emily and Gregg made my husband and me, who are both pretty awkward in front of the camera, feel completely at ease. They were not at all intrusive but made sure to grab us for shots and gave us just enough direction, capturing the most natural shots of us and the vibe of the whole wedding. They were such a delight to have around and went above and beyond their duties as photographer/videographer, even helping me with my bustle! The entire day we were feeling so thankful that we had the opportunity to work with them. After the day, Emily was very communicative about when we’d be getting everything and flexible about deadlines. We are absolutely thrilled with the end product and will forever be grateful to have gotten them as a team to capture our special day! Truly couldn’t recommend Emily and Gregg more highly. -

One of the most valuable things you will need on your wedding day, is an absolutely amazing photographer to truly capture not just the moments of the day, but the essence of it. If you're looking for that - hire Emily and her team today! There aren't enough nice things I can say about Emily and her team. Not only is Emily professional, responsive, organized, flexible and a joy to work with, she is absolutely amazing at what she does. Our guests were so impressed with our engagement photos, they keep asking when we will receive pictures because they equally cannot wait to see what was captured on our special day!
One of the things we loved about Emily and her team most was their willingness to be flexible on our wedding day. Sadly Mother Nature didn't fully align with our plans and our day started out with rain, then cleared up in time for our ceremony. While most photographers could have chosen to cut down time on capturing certain shots, Emily and her team were creative in finding new locations to capture images, were constantly checking radar and the weather to sneak us outside when possible, and simply made the most of every opportunity in the day to ensure she captured everything we asked for and more.

Finding the most perfect photographer to capture our day was so important to my husband and I. Other than wanting light and airy photos, we wanted a photographer who was a story teller, experienced and professional. We found all of that and more with Emily. I came across Emily on Instagram. As soon as I saw how beautiful her photos were I knew I wanted to book her immediately. Something about her work just tells a story so beautifully. Emily was beyond professional and organized and truly made the entire experience so easy for us. We got to know her more during our engagement shoot which was so much fun. Working with her put my mind at ease and I knew I had nothing to worry about for the wedding. The wedding photos were an absolute dream. The photos came out so amazing. Wonderful experience with Emily! Book her!
Short Story - Book Emily, you won't regret it! Long Story - We planned our wedding for June 2020 but of course had many, many date changes due to Covid. Emily and team were so professional, responsive, understanding, and helpful with every question, update, and request thrown at them and we know we weren't the only ones doing this! In 2019, we had a beautiful engagement session with our photographer Ashley who made us feel so comfortable and captured us perfectly. We were both a little nervous since we're not photographed often, but Ashley threw out some cues that made it all feel so natural. 18 months (and 3 date changes) later, our wedding day team of Ashley and Gabby continued the amazing work and captured everything we wanted from the perfect fall day! Gabby even gathered up some leaves to toss in the air for Ashley to capture as they fell around us! They worked well together to capture all the color and whimsical essence of everything. The final gallery that Emily shared with us was everything we could have wanted to have to remember our long awaited celebration! You will love working with Emily and team every step of the way! -

The Most Phenomenal Artist & Storyteller
We found Emily on Instagram & instantly LOVED her work! All of her photos were so timeless, gorgeous & natural. There was something about her style that matched our vision & felt it would capture our day wonderfully. After touring our wedding venue, one of the many questions they asked was if we had a photographer in mind, my now husband & I looked at each other & both shared that Emily Wren was our top choice. Our point of contact for the venue replied, “if she is available book her! She is the best & a dream to work with.” That was all that we needed to hear to solidify things. She then replied that photography & videography are both such an important aspect of your day that you will have forever. She shared with us regrets she had for her own wedding day & not spending quality money for someone who could be the best storyteller.
From our first meeting, Emily not only made us feel relaxed & comfortable, she was just so genuine. It was clear she is an expert in her craft & absolutely adores her job. We got to know Emily during our engagement photo session. She continued to made us feel like an enhanced version of ourselves & captured our love even more beautifully than we could have ever imagined. Emily, her husband, Gregg, who was also our videographer & the rest of the team were simply the best!! We were lucky to have had Nick & James capture our day too— my gosh are they awesome! They truly kept things lighthearted & fun throughout the day. Not only are they all beyond talented, they are all such great human beings too. One example of their kind hearts & souls - I have a sister with special needs & absolutely despises the cold, without thinking, Gregg took off his jacket & gave it to her to stay warm in between photos. This simple action speaks volumes of how above & beyond everyone was willing to go for us & without question.

Hands down Emily Wren is the most AMAZING wedding photographer!! My husband and I can't stop looking at all of the photos taken from our wedding day, one is simply more beautiful than the next. She captured everyone and everything perfectly that evening. I was also a covid bride, originally scheduled to be married on October 3, 2020 - but we unfortunately had to postpone to October 9, 2021. Emily and her entire team made the transition so effortless and easy for us. It also gave me another year to get to know Emily, and I am so happy to not only call her my wedding vendor, but a good friend. Without hesitation, I would book her over and over again. The light and airy photos are exactly what I wanted and now my best friends are getting engaged and looking into her as well for their weddings! Emily's professionalism, kindness, and easy going manner makes it a breeze to worth with her. She was fantastic when we rescheduled our wedding due to the pandemic, and didn't miss a beat with our new date. Although Emily wasn't available to take our photos, we were set up with Ashley and Nick on her team - and they were both fantastic! Ashley was our lead photographer, and she was so sweet, professional, and took beautiful photos - it was easy to follow her lead. Nick was a blast, and my husband loved having him with his group for the morning. They worked so well together and made the day so smooth! Emily's editing is beautiful and the photos turned out gorgeous! -

It's hard to put into words how grateful my husband and our families are for Emily Wren and her team. They were hands down our most valuable vendor. We booked Emily back in 2018; I discovered her on Instagram and immediately fell in love with her work. My husband and I didn't think that both a photographer and videographer were necessary, so we were looking for a photographer that could capture our day perfectly. Emily and her team did just that.
Emily first photographed our engagement shoot at Valley Forge. Although we were both shy initially, our nerves quickly eased after working with Emily. Her directions are easy to follow and she laughs with you along the way. We knew from that moment that we had made one of the best decisions in hiring her.
A few months later in April, the nation shutdown, and my husband and I had to make the most difficult decision on whether or not to postpone our wedding. After consulting our parents and wedding coordinator at our venue, Emily was our next phone call. To this day, I cannot be more thankful for Emily's honesty that day. She not only recommended that we postpone, but helped us choose the next best date which was June 18, 2021. In the months that followed, Emily remained in contact with us as we put together our wedding timeline. We always say she was also like our wedding planner. Her expertise in the wedding industry and organization are a bonus in addition to her photography skills.
This was apparent the day of our wedding as well. Despite being 8-9 months pregnant (Emily delivered 2 weeks later), Emily showed up on our day along with Gabby and Nick. The whole wedding party had such a fun time working with all three. Similarly to Emily, Gabby and Nick went above and beyond; Gabby lent a helping hand with my nieces who were running around and Nick helped the groomsmen with their boutonnieres. We recently received our finished photos (turn around was not even 2 months even after having a baby - amazing!), and we are simply blown away. Emily is extremely skilled in capturing the feelings and emotions of the day, which is what makes her stand out from other photographers. We didn't want the typical staged photos that you see again and again. If you are a couple who wants the same, do not hesitate and book with Emily Wren. Thank you again to Emily and her team. Stunning "modern romantic" photos!
Emily Wren was a dream to work with for our wedding! Our photos turned out beautifully and we are so happy that we will have them to remember our wedding the rest of our lives. The photos really captured us as a couple and the atmosphere of our "modern romantic" wedding. Ahead of time, we reviewed all the specific portraits and photos we wanted with our photographer and we got everything we wanted and more! We had two photographers and they both kept us on task (with very large wedding parties and family shots) and followed our lead on the photos and backgrounds that were important to us. Both the posed and unposed photos are amazing and all of our family and friends agree that the pictures are stunning. Would highly recommend! -

Words cannot express enough gratitude for Emily Wren Photography!
One of the easiest decisions made throughout our wedding planning journey was choosing Emily Wren as our photographer. From our first interaction, Emily put us at ease as we navigated shifting wedding plans amidst the pandemic. Emily was so kind, very flexible and patient with us throughout the process. When I met Emily on wedding day, I was immediately put at ease. I felt like I had another friend getting ready with me! Her second shooter, Nick, was incredible. My husband still raves about Nick! Together, Emily and Nick kept things light and so fun- we laughed a lot! We were SO nervous about photos considering social distancing guidelines, masks, our guests varying comfort levels with masking/not masking and our wishes to keep everyone as safe as possible. Prior to our wedding, Emily helped us to plan out the best approach to family portraits; ie. which "pods" could be photographed sans masks, and making sure everyone had masks for any larger group photos or photos with guests outside of their "pod." They were organized, timely, and kept everyone right where they needed to be! Our wedding photos turned out to be AMAZING. We could not ask for anything more! Words truly cannot express the gratitude we feel towards Emily and Nick. Our wedding photos will be cherished for a lifetime. -

We had Gabby and Dustin for our wedding, and they were just incredible. We aren't the best at posing for pics, and neither was the majority of our wedding party (sorry!!! haha), we are an awkward crew...but, they were so easy to work with that several of our wedding party members even commented on how quick and painless all the group pictures went.
They went out of their way to scout some really cool spots in our building, and then set up lighting to pull off the shots, and I know a couple of those places couldn't have been easy.
We got a sneak peek from Emily SO FAST, it was so exciting!! And turnaround on the entire album was so much quicker than we expected. They did such a beautiful job, and we are so happy we used them to capture the best day of our lives. Thank you so much!!! -

I don't even know where to start!! Emily Wren & her team are simply the best in the business. Not only are they professional and extremely skilled, they are also a blast to work with. My husband and I (and our entire bridal party) truly enjoyed working with the team. They had us laughing on so many occasions, which produced such wonderful candid photos! Emily Wren was absolutely perfect and I sincerely recommend Emily as a wedding photographer! We had chosen her because we liked her style from her website. From the very beginning, I felt so comfortable with her from the first phone call. We had her come to do our engagement photo session... My fiancee (now husband) was so mad that I was making him do this but he immediately warmed up to Emily. She made us feel so comfortable and the shoot was so much fun. He said after how one of the only reason he enjoyed himself was because he loved Emily. We also knew when we got our photos back from that shoot that we made the right choice... We absolutely loved them. She captured every moment that we could have wanted captured. We also had our dog with us and she was completely cool with that (she is a dog person!). I had a couple more calls with Emily prior to the wedding day to go over timelines, specific photo questions, and everything she needed to know about the day to make sure that I got the most special pictures. During the wedding weekend, Emily completely went above and beyond. She and her whole team were seriously amazing. They were so nice, fun, and easy to be around. It was a long day and they made it so much easier. We had a lot of laughs which made for great pictures. She also knew our floral team so it was perfect and we got such amazing pictures of our flowers! When we received the first look of our photos, we were immediately in awe... She literally made me cry again at how beautiful they came out. She has such a romantic, pretty, rustic style which complemented my venue so much. Her decor shots were breathtaking. I really couldn't have asked for a better photographer and team to work with. They blew us away! -

Stop looking and book Emily!
Emily is an incredibly talented photographer (her photos speak for themselves). But she is also extremely kind, honest, easy going, and fun! She just sent us our sneak peak wedding photos and I spend every spare second I have looking at them. On a hot August day in the middle of Philadelphia with a huge bridal party and a lot of family members, Emily and Nick made taking photos effortless and fun. Nick had the flower girl and ring bearer laughing even when they were on the edge of major melt downs. Emily and Nick are professional, patient, and make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Not to mention, Emily was standing on chairs and on the ground getting all the right angles. She even herded people in for photos and helped to carry my train across the city...all while pregnant - she is a champ!! Having Emily's expertise there definitely made the day run smoother. I cannot say enough nice thanks about Emily, her team, and their photos. We are so excited to see the final roll, but we know they are going to be EPIC! We got married on 11/10/2018 and had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Emily Wren for our wedding photography!
Working with Emily in the planning stages was a stress-free and easy experience - she was responsive to our emails and questions, offered recommendations on details we were unsure about, and was very organized in the lead-up to the big day, which allowed our experience on wedding day to go very smoothly.
We were planning a Philadelphia wedding from NYC, and after our planned Philadelphia engagement photo shoot was rained out, Emily graciously offered to waive her travel fee and move our shoot to NYC.
The photos Emily (with Ryan joining her at our wedding) took were stunning, and we are so excited to begin our album design process with her. She made sure to capture every detail we had discussed beforehand on the big day, did a great job wrangling the wedding party, and ensured that we got all the shots we had discussed beforehand.

There was no other option!
I knew we needed to have Emily (+ Gregg!). My husband and I even selected our wedding date based on their availability to travel to Maine with us. The day before our wedding we decided to do a pre-wedding photo session. I got in my dress, my husband in his suit and we met Emily + Gregg on a mountain side in the dark. We used flashlights to scale the rocks, get in to place, and then they captured our first look as the sun was rising. The photos could not be more breathtaking! Our wedding day was so effortless (at least for me) Emily made me feel so comfortable and captured every moment. Besides your partner you are with your photographer + videographer the whole day, you want them to be people you like, trust, and have fun with! Emily + Gregg could not have been a better fit. They were one of the best parts of the whole weekend, we felt so comfortable just knowing they were there - getting every moment. And it was so much fun! Just felt like hanging out with friends. Our photos are perfection! -

Emily was incredibly easy to work with. She was very responsive, attentive and truly a professional. We had a few phone calls with her to discuss timeline, where we wanted photos, what we wanted her to focus on capturing etc. Her photography style is so romantic and beautiful , she captured so many great candid moments, stunning photos of the decor and scenery, and her photography style complimented our wedding aesthetic perfectly . My husband and I were BLOWN away by our wedding photos. All the photos truly surpassed our expectations and you couldn't tell in any photo that we were sweating in 90 degree heat and humidity :). Emily even sent us a handful of photos that day after the wedding so we had a tiny preview of photos to come which was a nice treat before our honeymoon. The day of our wedding, Emily also had her associate Nick capturing our wedding. Emily and Nick make a great them and they compliment each other very well. Nick was very funny and kept everyone smiling in the heat with jokes and compliments. It was great working with both Nick and Emily for our wedding. What really speaks volumes about Emily and her work is the amount of compliments we received from our wedding guests. Emily and Nick were never 'in the way' or in the background of any shot, they approached our guests and got so many great photos at cocktail hour, and once we received our wedding photos and sent the weblink to family and friends, we received so many sweet messages about how amazingly beautiful our wedding photos are. Her associates Gabby and Nick were our photographers for our day, and were such a pleasure to work with! From our first few meetings with Emily and Gabby, to our engagement shoot with Gabby last fall, to our wedding day, and finally receiving the many wonderful photos from that day, we have been consistently happy with our experience. The candid shots capture the pure joy we felt on our wedding day, and each posed shot is perfectly framed, with all photos wonderfully edited. I have been looking through the photos for nearly a month now, and am still finding it hard to narrow down the ones we want to print and use in our wedding album. Throughout the entire process, the communication and planning process was seamless and easy. They were extremely professional, organized, punctual, great with children and captured everything we asked for as well as more. The photos were delivered earlier than she indicated and they were absolutely incredible. We also made our own wedding and parent album using her site which was so simple and they turned out amazing!
