  We considered many options for wedding music and wound up choosing Emily Thompson because we love the sound of stringed instruments. Emily initially worked with us to create a music program using selections chosen by my daughter and son-in-law. She played the selections for us ahead of time so that we could get a sampling of how the music would sound. The artists who played the cello and violin (Jason Thompson and Martyna Blake) created a very elegant and romantic wedding setting, which is what my daughter was hoping for. This was all very tastefully done! We were very happy with how it all turned out and would highly recommend Emily!

  Emily was referred to us by a friend of a friend and we couldn't have asked for anyone better! She was very responsive when making arrangements, making sure to answer any questions that we had and sending recordings of her playing since we weren't able to meet in person. Emily even worked with our other church musician to make sure she had all of the details for the day. Since we had a Catholic wedding, she was only able to play Ave Maria (which was beautiful, even our priest gave her compliments) during mass, but she played for guests before and after the wedding. It was perfect, we would highly recommend Emily to anyone who is looking for a violinist!

  Emily and the group played at our wedding last year and were absolutey fantastic. It was so easy- we picked the songs from her selection and added a couple hymns, gave her the order of the service and she did the rest. The live music really added a nice touch to the ceremony, definitely worth having!

  We had both Emily & her husband play at our wedding. They were professional and congenial and open to playing some...non-traditional wedding music (from the Star Wars score). Emily and Jason are talented musicians and you will not be disappointed with their presence on your special day...or any other special event you may need live violinists at!

  Emily Thompson played a number of pieces during our wedding ceremony. Emily is very professional, was in regular contact with us prior to the big day, and worked well with the other musicians.
