Emily was well prepared, ready on time, and so joyful to be there. She was thoughtful with time and knew exactly what she was doing. Our session was simple and efficient. She listened to what I desired and executed perfectly. I am very happy with the pictures and so glad that I choose her to be the photographer! -

Authentic, genuine creativity!
Emily’s work is beautiful, raw authenticity! She documented this season of our lives in a such a way that blessed us beyond belief; allowing us to always have a tangible way to look back on our first home with wonder. We cannot say enough great things about Emily! She was attentive, caring, and SO kind throughout the entire process. She shot our proposal pics, engagement photos and all of our wedding/reception! The images she captured are so special and natural. She captured everything exactly as we remembered it. Nothing too posed or forced. You can feel the energy of the day from looking at the photos! When my husband and I got the pictures back, we CRIED looking at all of them! They're that good! Emily did a great job of telling us how to pose, without it feeling too "posey." The pictures are natural, fun, and so beautiful. Her edits are amazing as well! She designed a book for us that we look at all the time. There is no doubt that she has some amazing design skills. Would absolutely, 100%, without a doubt, recommend her to ANYONE looking for a wedding photographer that will capture their day perfectly!! We love Emily!!!Emily Nystrom Photography's reply:

Breathtaking Photos & The Best Wedding Photographer Experience Ever
Emily went above and beyond to capture our wedding, and our photos are breathtaking, most people tell us they are the best wedding photos they've ever seen. We got married in the Smokey Mountians one week after the wildfires went through the area, so needless to say, we had to completely change and replan the entire wedding in a week. In the midst of all the craziness, Emily was calm, went with the flow, and did a fantastic job replanning the photography for the day even with all the changes. She captured the wedding beautifully and yet we were still able to really experience our wedding day. Nothing was staged or put on, and she captured the moments of the day and our emotions throughout wonderfully. I've been in and helped plan numerous weddings, and this was the best photography experience I've encountered. We didn't feel like we were in a photo shoot the whole day, but yet it was so organized that we didn't have to worry that photos being taken. My husband and I are not very photogenic people in normal circumstances, but Emily captured us naturally and gave us the best photos we could have asked for.
