  Emily is not only a consummate professional who creates fabulous and stunning portraits and photos: she's a blast, too! She took our engagement photos as well as shooting the whole wedding and reception. She immediately set all of us at ease, and allowed us to really be ourselves. She's fun to be around during the obligatory posed wedding party photos: really, she even let us all have a gin break! She was able to corral us to get all sorts of great shots without ever making it feel like anything other than fun. And somehow during the ceremony, she became invisible; I've been to many weddings with intrusive photographers, but we never noticed her, but she was able to capture it all. She is so great to work with, and most important, we love, love, love the photos!

  I found Emily through a Facebook ad and loved her stuff. Then she did a friend's wedding and I was uber-impressed with her wedding day presence. She's unobtrusive but not afraid to tell people where to stand, etc. I've followed her blog for a year now and I'm continually impressed with what a wonderful job Emily does at capturing the energy between the individuals in the couples and families she photographs. Turns out, lots of us normal people don't look like the models in the wedding adverts, but with Emily as your photographer, that stops mattering. You get the feeling she can tell that everyone's beautiful on the inside and, man, does she show it with that camera of hers. If you're in the Portland area, stop reading reviews already. Hire this woman fast!

  We had a WONDERFUL experience with Emily G. She was fun, made us relaxed and provided us with so many amazing pictures. Of all the things we did right for our wedding.....she was TOP of the list! Book her for your special day and she will capture it to perfection.

  I have nothing but wonderful comments about Emily (emilygphotography) She's laid back, works well to meet your needs, and very fun! As well as keeping is professional. Her prices are more then resonable! Hands down she ROCKS.

We were unprepared for the hecticness of the day, but Emily was not. She captured our day beautifully, included a complimentary engagement session, and created a beautiful album that was beyond our expectations. Our family and friends loved her work as much as we did and even mentioned how unobtrusive she was during the ceremony and reception. We were so pleased with Emily's work and would highly recommend her to any bride-to-be!!

  Emily's photos are fabulous, but we knew they would be going into this! What we didn't know is how awesome she would be! She is so fun and witty and can quickly put you at ease with being photographed. She not only photographed us, but helped pin on boutonnieres and helped to get my dress bustled. I am so glad we chose Emily G Photography and I recommend her wholeheartedly!
