Working with Emily was such a great experience and the moments she captured were exactly what we were looking for. I have always been incredibly awkward in front of a camera but Emily has an infectious personality that let my fiancé and I relax and just be ourselves. She went out of her way and got up early to scout out multiple locations for the shoot and then was flexible with time when the sun decided not to peek out from behind the clouds until a bit later. We got our pictures back in no time and we couldn’t be happier! We will definitely be giving Emily a call for our wedding! -

Emily made me feel so comfortable from the start! She had great advice to bring champagne, start a fun playlist, bring lots of props and check Pinterest for ideas! Something I so appreciated was her responsiveness and attentiveness. She reached out every week with new information which is something other photographers have not done for me in the past. The photos turned out beautiful and I am so excited to see the final book! Thank you! -

When Emily came to photograph my husband’s and my wedding celebration, I expected the photos to be great based on having known her and her natural talent for photography as long as I have... what I didn’t expect was to be absolutely blown away by the detail and incredible thoughtfulness of the results! She managed to showcase the casual, joyful nature of our party while also capturing its intimate atmosphere. I’ve had numerous guests compliment how easily and effortlessly she managed to take their photographs, including recording all the lovely little moments in-between while blending in with the surroundings. This was exactly what we wanted, and I couldn’t be happier with how flexible Emily was in meeting our needs and exceeding our expectations. Our families are delighted with how the photos turned out and consider them to be the best part of our reception.
If you’re looking for an event photographer with remarkable talent, an eye for the littlest details, and the most easygoing, fun-loving personality, then you’ve found her! I absolutely recommend Emily and cannot wait to have her take even more photos for us. -

If you're looking for grace and beauty with a touch of creative flare, you've found your photographer. Emily has both a kind and bubbly personality with the perfect mix of an edgy and timeless photography style. She is also very open to your suggestions. Personally, I find it so important that your photographer makes the effort to understand your creative vision as well. Emily was very easy to work with and gets your photos back faster than you would even believe! She is also very professional and prompt at responding back to you, which is also so helpful! She has done both an engagement shoot and anniversary shoot for me. She has also done a newborn shoot for my sister! She is very flexible and patient; both are must haves in a photographer. No matter what your photography needs, you are in excellent hands with Emily Catherine Photography! -
