Not only was Emily a joy to work with, she was incredibly kind and talented. She was always quickly responsive to messages and questions, very receptive to adjustments/requests I had, and was super flexible. Weddings are crazy, and she was consistently calm, cool, and collected, which put me and my bridesmaids at ease. I absolutely adore her. She made me feel stunning on my big day. LOVE her! My husband and I got married earlier this month on Oct 3rd and Emily was AMAZING! She did
makeup for myself, two bridesmaids, and three moms/stepmoms and she absolutely nailed it. I live in Hawaii and the wedding was in Virginia, so from the start it was more complicated than usual, but she made me feel confident and at ease. She even travelled an hour and a half to be there on my wedding day. Thankfully, I found her through my cousin who got married in May, and I was able to have my trial then. We made a few tweaks from my trial and my wedding day makeup was everything I dreamed of, I've never felt more beautiful! She is an absolute pro at natural glam which looked gorgeous in photos and all our makeup lasted the whole night. On the day of, Emily was professional, on-time, friendly, and so nice to talk to. She made everyone feel so comfortable, was so fun to work with, and we even ran way ahead of schedule! I couldn't recommend Emily enough- she truly is the best! -

Emily is so fun to work with! She’s very down to earth and made me feel comfortable during our trial and on the day of my wedding. She took notes of my feedback about my look from the trial and implemented those changes day-of. My sister (MOH) and I had a relaxed morning getting ready with Emily, and it was like catching up with an old friend. We all loved how our hair and makeup came out and enjoyed the experience of getting ready. Highly recommend Emily for hair and makeup for any event! -

Extraordinary makeup and hair artist!
Emily Allen did my wedding makeup and hair, my mother’s makeup & hair and my bridesmaids’ hair. She did such an extraordinary job with our hair as well as with our makeup. Everyone at the wedding commented on how beautiful and glowy my complexion looked and everything was thanks to Emily’s great job and dedication to make sure I looked my best. Wedding Day Makeup
Emily is so incredible at what she does!! I had my trial with her and I knew from then that I wanted her to do my makeup. She is so easy to get along with & sweet! She took on a big group of girls for my wedding + traveled to WV for it! My makeup was exactly what I wanted and looks so amazing in my photos. You can absolutely book Emily with full faith in her to do an incredible job! Thank you Emily for making me feel like a queen & allowing me to have no worries on my wedding morning! -

Emily was responsive, punctual, and kind. She asked about the look we envisioned, but also provided suggestions. The final product was natural and flawless. One person in our party had a little spray tan mishap, but Emily's expertise covered/blended it perfectly. The makeup photographed beautifully, and everyone complimented her work. We will use Emily's services again and again!!!! -
