We cannot recommend Emerald Empire Band enough! Chris was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the planning process, making us feel completely at ease leading up to the wedding.
On the wedding day, the band was phenomenal. They perfectly captured the energy we wanted and kept the dance floor packed all night long. We received countless compliments from our guests, and the band played a huge role in making the night so much fun!
We would highly recommend Emerald Empire Band to any couple looking for an amazing wedding band!

From start to finish the Emerald Empire band impressed me. Producer Emmanuel could not have been a better communicator and more professional and help me with my timeline and even some decisions regarding music and how the night should flow.
And then the guests all raved about how great the band was and they got a lot of people on the dance floor from my 20. Something-year-old kids to my 87-year-old aunt lol

Perfection
Emerald Empire was amazing from the beginning, from their free showcase, to getting to know their services, to booking. Everything was easy and well-communicated. We got to select who we wanted as part of the band, and we even selected additional services within about a month of our wedding and they were able to accommodate. They remembered my husband and I from the showcase even though our wedding was a year later. It felt really personal in the best way. Everything went flawlessly and it was so fun! I wish we could stay connected and at least see them again! Absolute perfection. -

We really wanted live music for our destination wedding but had no idea where to start. Emerald Empire Band was recommended and it could not have been better! Chris was super responsive & helped us customize our band. Their online portal made the planning super easy. Everyone loved the music - so much talent and they kept our guests dancing all night. Do yourself a favor and add the extra horn - worth every penny! The sax player was the perfect memorable touch and he worked the floor like a hype man. Class act band! -

The band was literally the best part of the whole wedding (and it was already a lit wedding). We got SO MANY compliments on the band! My husband and I spent the entire reception on the dance floor and it literally never died down. And my husband doesnt even like to dance like that, seriously we never dance, but Emerald Empire made it basically impossible not to be out there the whole time they were so infectious and fun! The band (especially the MC Emmanuel- shout out!) kept the energy high the whole time. When I asked guest later what they did all night everyone said "I was on the dance floor the whole time!"
Justin was such a huge huge help for the months leading up to the wedding. Always there for any and all of my questions or silly requests. He was so nice, professional, quick, and also just a nice and funny guy. Also he's one hell of a trumpet player.
I really cannot emphasize enough how spectacular the band was. Like most people don't think much of a wedding band, but a lot of guests left saying this was the best wedding (and they were right) and I know that a huge part of that was Emerald Empire.
Also they hooked us up with the photographer and he was amazing too! it made things so easy that they came together. And the price for the band and everything was very reasonable.
I want to hire them for everything. Also if you're ever wondering, the additional lights are worth it. They were so sick.

Emerald Empire Band was one of the highlights of our wedding and truly made the reception. David was fantastic to work with and really helped bring our vision for the music and overall atmosphere to life. The band was incredibly talented, the dance floor was packed all night, and the energy in the room was amazing. So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding band they had ever seen. We are so glad we chose Emerald Empire and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. -

Cole and Emerald Empire band were so easy to work with. Planning was easy - Cole was available whenever we needed to ask a question and easy to coordinate zoom meetings with. He assured me the and would play the songs we selected live for first dances and even helped save us money - making sure we were only using what we needed. The most important part though - was the night of. Our reception was amazing! The band had flawless transitions between songs, managed their creative authority to pull together a play list that catered and kept all ages on the dance floor. I worried about possibly being too loud in a small space, but shared that concern with Cole and never once worried again. Several of our guests have raved about the band and also commented on how appropriate the volume was. Thank you again emerald Empire Band and Cole for being easy to work with and creating the perfect environment for our reception. If I were planning to get married again (maybe vow renewal down the rd??) you’d definitely be the first people I’d call. -

We enjoyed working with Nigel and Emerald Empire Band in the year leading up to the wedding - he did a great job in curating a band that would make the day special for us and our guests. The music was hands-down one of our FAVORITE parts of the wedding - and our guests felt the same! The dance floor was packed, the horah was epic, and the songs were just the vibe we'd hoped for. The noise-level being manageable (not too loud) was very important to us, and the band got it just right without losing energy. Definitely recommend hiring Emerald Empire! -

The Emerald Empire Band was amazing. Nigel (& the band) helped organize our wedding event a year in advance. The Emerald Empire Band did exactly what we wanted in makeing our night memorable. From the beginning to the end Chris was so helpful, prompt, organized and professional. Emerald empire was the easiest vendor to plan and communicate with. During reception everyone from all ages were out on the dance floor. We had received so many compliments from guest about the band, money well spent! Our MC was fantastic the songs were sung better than the original. Emerald empire was by far our favorite purchase! -

Emerald Empire, especially Rashad, were everything we could have hoped for and more! From the moment we saw Emerald Empire at a showcase in Charlotte we knew that we were going to go with them! Live music was a huge priority for my husband and I, and Rashad's team delivered and some! We hired Emerald Empire for all parts of our day from the ceremony to a jazz cocktail hour, to a reception and then DJ after party - it was everything we could have asked for! Working with Rashad to add an extra DJ hour for an After Party was such a fun and special time for us, everyone is still talking about it!

Hiring Emerald Empire Band was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We had 2 piece ceremony musicians, jazz trio for cocktail hour, and then 6 piece band for our ceremony. The band is the number one thing that guests have been complimenting us on. We had guests who had larger bands for their own weddings and they consistentlly told us Emerald Empire was doing more with 6 than other bands are doing with 10-12+. The group was SO much fun and truly kept the party going all night long. We also chose to have the band perform our first dance songs live, which was an amazing touch. Ward was so easy to work with leading up to the event, and made us feel so comfortable. I could not recommend Emerald Empire more highly!! -

We had the best experience with Emerald Empire Band- all of our friends and family told us this was the best wedding band they’ve ever seen! The communication from day one throughout the entire process couldn’t have been better, they were always available via phone call, email and text. They are very detail oriented and provide you with all the information you can think of from the beginning and work to customize to your music preferences. We did a 6 piece band and said we wanted everyone dancing and having fun and they did exactly that. They also played my Spotify playlist for the ceremony and had a trio perform for cocktail hour. I will recommend them to anyone getting married! -

Emerald empire made planning music the music for our wedding a seamless process. Their online portal was dummy friendly, Richard was so fun to work with and the team selected for our day captured exactly the vibe we were going for. Awesome Wedding Band!
We are so glad we chose Emerald Empire Band for our wedding! They are very talented musicians and also had great energy and really lit up the dance floor. I don't think I sat down the whole night and so many guests came up to me raving about how great the band was. We also booked some DJ hours for the later part of the night and so that we could play some German music for our multicultural wedding. They were so great about making the perfect playlist for us and including all of the songs we wanted. The DJ also had great energy and kept the dance floor alive. We used them for our cocktail hour jazz trio and ceremony sound as well. They are incredibly flexible and great to work with. Everything went smoothly and we felt like we were in great hands with their team. -

We truly could NOT be more thrilled with our experience of working with the Emerald Empire Band for our wedding. Having live music was one of our few must-haves, and EEB delivered in every single way. Working with Ward was honestly such a joy, and he made the entire process a breeze. He and the band were able to take our musical tastes (we provided general ideas re: genres and a few must-play songs, but didn't go into extreme detail; at this point in the planning process we were having decision fatigue/burnout, but we felt completely at ease that Ward/EEB would not steer us wrong) and create a setlist that set the perfect atmosphere/vibe for the evening. The dance floor stayed PACKED throughout the night, and the band's skill and professionalism truly made the entire evening magical. The cherry on top was during our final private dance, the band went the extra mile to learn a portion of a very meaningful song to us, which we assumed would just be the recorded version - hearing them begin to play our song so beautifully is a memory I will treasure forever. Truly look no further than EEB - we can't sing their praises enough and they are one of the major reasons our wedding evening was as amazing as it was. Also, they are guaranteed to bring the house DOWN! -

Emerald Empire band was recommended by our venue, so we went to their showcase and signed them up immediately! The band has amazingly talented musicians and their range was fantastic! You can tell that they love what they do. They were able to play anything we asked from current pop to 70's funk and everything in between. We had a 8-piece band complete with a full horn section that rocked our reception and had the dance floor packed all night. Planning was easy using their planning page. We were able to list the things/songs we wanted and didn't want, so it was a great starting point for discussions with Emmanuel. Emmanuel was so thorough in his questions and made sure that we got everything we wanted in the set list. They set up our PA system and ran the ceremony music perfectly. I sent them my playlists for the ceremony, dinner time and DJ sets, and they made sure their set list didn't conflict. Emmanuel mc'd the event and entire evening ran so smoothly. Our guests LOVED the band and said they were the best they had seen at any wedding. Communication + Professionalism + Musicianship + Fun = Best Wedding Band Ever!! -

Emerald Empire is the best!! Our guests couldn't stop raving about how fantastic the band was and it completely made our reception. The dance floor was packed all night and they chose a wide range of songs, starting off with songs everyone knows, and moving younger throughout the night. The entire planning process was seamless as well. Their pricing was also extremely reasonable. -

I can’t say enough good things about Emerald Empire. They completely rocked the house at our wedding and all of our guests raved about them. CJ was our producer and he was so easy to work with, and their online portal made it very easy to iron out all of the details. They were also very accommodating to special requests. I wanted to surprise my bride by singing Sweet Caroline to her with the band, and they had no problems with making that happen. Everything went great with that and it was one of the most memorable moments of the night. We did a 6 piece band with 2 of the 6 being vocalists, and that ended up being perfect for our relatively smaller venue and 110 person guest count. They played the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, as well as MC’d the grand entrances. We also couldn’t believe how cost effective they were; we could have easily paid thousands of dollars more for a band with less talent. I can't recommend EEB enough. We booked them for the ceremony sound, happy hour music, and of course a live band for the reception! They nailed it all, and it couldn't have been better. Our guests were raving about them the next day, but I think the most ringing endorsement came from my dad: During the two year wedding planning process, my dad repeatedly asked, "Why not get a DJ? A DJ is so much more cost effective." Cut to the end of the reception, and my dad came up to me, two glow sticks on his neck, tie GONE, and he's yelling "That band is amazing! You were so right about them!" They absolutely killed it.
I'll be honest, in the few days after our wedding, I was little bit bummed not to see many Instagram stories from the reception. We had so many pre-event and ceremony photos, but just a handful of people dancing! Then I got our wedding photos and OH MAN it was clear that everyone was just so busy dancing, there wasn't even a phone in sight! EEB brought such a fun vibe, every song they picked fit the moment perfectly. 100/10 couldn't recommend them enough!Emerald Empire Band's reply:

Best Band in the Lowcountry!
Book Emerald Empire Band for your wedding immediately! We had their 7 piece band play at our reception and it was totally worth it. They were high energy, talented, and played all of the songs we wanted (even taking a few requests!) We also used them for our ceremony music and cocktail hour, and they MC'ed our reception - truly a one stop shop. Andy was professional, easy to work with and very responsive. They asked detailed questions about the type of music we liked and disliked, learned a specific song for our ceremony, and really stuck to our preferences. As we prepared and planned for our wedding we knew we wanted a big, fun, high-energy band and Emerald Empire Band were the PERFECT FIT. We, together with our guests, had so much fun dancing and spending time on the dancefloor and that is a direct result of the Emerald Empire Band. They're talented, amazing, interactive and really made our wedding the most fun experience we were hoping for. 2 newly engaged couples have already asked how we found them and I honestly cannot say enough good things to try to convince them to also book this group. If you're on the fence about the number of pieces, we had a 9 piece band for our April 2023 wedding and it was the best decision. We also used them for live ceremony music and first dances, and they delivered perfection. Cole, the manager, was also super helpful in orgnanization and coordination leading up to the event. If music and dancing is a high prioritiy for your, the Emerald Empire Band will not let you down. -

THE BEST BAND EVER!!!!!
We are so grateful to have found Emerald Empire Band for our wedding! They performed our ceremony music, cocktail hour and reception (as well as MC'd). Everything they did exceeded our expectations! Baunie and her team were so kind, easy to work with and delivered some incredible performances. All our guest had a BLAST and we continue to get compliments on the band a month after our wedding!
A big thank you to Rob for helping us through the pre-wedding process! He was patient, communicated extremely well and helped us put together an amazing day/night. He made us feel so confident and comfortable heading into our big day. We couldn't have had a better experience!

Emerald Empire is the best!
Working with Lee and the guys in Emerald Empire Band was a dream. From start to finish it was seamless and so easy. They are professional and take into consideration the couple's specific musical wishes for their big day. Our first dance was to a Queen song, so Lee was very open about the potential difficulties with getting it exactly how my husband and I rehearsed. For that, we used a pre-cut clip we edited and they handled everything else. We let them know which songs we wanted to hear to keep people out on the dance floor, and that was exactly what happened! We chose a 7-piece band, and it was such a good time. There is just a different element with a live band vs a DJ. I was happy to know that there were certain songs I wanted to cake cutting or bouquet toss, etc that they were happy to MC/DJ as well as play. They are versatile, flexible, and fun. The musicians were talented and engaging with our group of folks and it made for such a good time. Our wedding was in the north GA mountains, so I believe our musicians were sourced near the Asheville, NC area. We could not have been happier with our result! -

Emerald Empire Band was perfect! First, the prep calls from Kelly before the wedding were extremely helpful. The portal they use helped keep everything very organized and everyone on the same page. But most importantly on the day of, they were on time and ready to go! Their performance was amazing!! Everyone loved them and they played the perfect mix of songs. We were very happy with the entertainment provided at our wedding by The Emerald Empire Band! What especially impressed me was their song selection. They had unique song selections that you don't hear at every wedding, while keeping the music upbeat and wedding appropriate. They had our specific requests prepared for the first dance, father/bride dance, and mother/groom dance. They were accommodating to our schedule of events for the day, and they also kept the volume at a reasonable level. So both dancing and conversations could be enjoyed by our guests the entire evening. From the beginning, Rob was very easy to communicate with, and he offered a very organized form for us to fill out with the details of the evening, to keep everything running smoothly. As a professional musician myself, I was very impressed with the musicianship and professionalism of The Emerald Empire Band! I would highly recommend them for most any event! -

Emerald Empire Band was truly incredible!! Our guests were on the dance floor all night! We have since had countless guests tell us how amazing our wedding band was! We had an absolute blast at our wedding with a lot of that being thanks to them! We were rocking out on the shoulders of our friends at one point. It was awesome. The band was engaging with the crowd, flexible when we had a guest we wanted to sing a special song, super fun, very talented and friendly! Derrick was extremely helpful in the planning stages and was very quick to respond, professional and had great helpful hints and reading material to guide me through the booking and planning process. They are so organized! My wedding planner strongly discouraged us from having a band because she has had some bad experiences with bands only playing the type of music they wanted and not taking into consideration the music that the couple wanted to hear and being hard to work with in general. But I am SO GRATEFUL that this advice did not scare me away from hiring Emerald Empire. They did a great job of making our wedding music dreams come true and couldn't have been any easier to work with! The venue manager at our venue was thrilled when I told her we were having EEB performing because she said they were one of the best bands she has ever worked with and a lot of fun too!!
