Highly Recommended!
I met arika when she captured my sister's wedding. I knew when I was engaged, I wanted her to be the one to also capture mine. Arika and Tim are very professional and make sure that you get all the photos you are hoping for. Arika hones in on all of the details and makes your day run smoothly! They are there for every second of the day. Not only do they document your whole day with photos they also keep you on schedule. I recommend arika and Tim to all of my friends and family! -

We chose Arika & Tim as our engagement and wedding photographers not only because they’re good friends of ours, but also because we knew they were easy going, willing to accommodate requests from both of us as well as our family members, and because they were willing to travel to Charleston, SC where we had our intimate ceremony with immediate family. We had SO much fun throughout the entire process and have received countless compliments on all of our photos. We could not be happier with the experience or the photos! Amazing!
What an absolutely incredible experience Arika and Tim provided for us as our wedding photographers and videographers. They were so easy to work with, timely and attentive to detail, and the final product was everything we could have asked for. So many amazing moments captured in their work, and we just recently received our wedding video which brought such fond memories rushing back. Talented, resourceful, flexible scheduling, personable, and calming
Arika has an aesthetic eye that plans and captures beyond what you attempt to imagine. In the realm of photo composition and augmentation of color, Arika is exceptional. I am bless to have her as our photographer.

Exceptional service!
Emerald Anchor Photography went above and beyond our hopes- not only did we feel exceptionally comfortable with them, but they added plenty of fun and laughs to the party! It truly felt like old friends were taking our pictures. As for the results, the photos turned out extraordinary. They went to incredible lengths to capture the perfect shots – even laying on the ground, head and and shoulders angled upward uncomfortably – and their outstanding effort shows! The high quality, professional images captured timeless moments we will forever treasure. We highly recommend these remarkable photographers. -

Amazing wedding & family photographers!
I’m not sure where to even begin with this review. Arika and Tim are an amazing couple who have been so fun to work with and even better to get to know. We wanted a specific personality to shoot our wedding; someone we knew would get along with our families and allow us to not feel so formal like you're on stage the entire day. From the first time my husband and I met Arika we knew she would be perfect for our event. She was easy going, overly friendly, a dog lover, and obviously a very skilled photographer. What we didn’t realize is that we would get a package deal & gain new friends along the way. Arika and her husband Tim are the type of people who can definitely keep the day moving and capture the moments necessary but they still had fun and could enjoy the day with us. Our family and friends loved getting to know them and working with them the entire day. We feel so fortunate that we found them for our wedding day. I would highly recommend using them for any photography needs! -

Amazing Service, the Start of a Beautiful Friendship
Before our wedding, we started shopping around for a photographer for both engagement and wedding photos; Emerald Anchor had done my and my sister’s senior photos, as well as some family photos, but we thought there wouldn’t be any harm in looking for other options. Let me tell you, Emerald Anchor is worth every penny compared to the competition. Other photographers were either very restrictive with their photo options, were too expensive, or didn’t even bother to get back to us. Arika is responsive to messages, emails, and texts, but also makes sure that you are comfortable, both before the shoots and during the shoots. She does an amazing job at posing people so that it makes you look even better than you thought you could, and tries to loosen things up and have fun. To expand upon her attention to detail, she always hires a second shooter to make sure every Kodak moment is covered on your special day. And (And!) she really wants to cultivate a relationship with her clients, moving from client to friend. We were originally set for a wedding in the Fall, but had to move it up to May; although she had previous commitments for our new wedding date, she still provided two associate shooters for our wedding! The associates caught everything, from the product-photography type photos of the rings and outfits, to getting ready, and everything during the ceremony and reception. She then offered us a post wedding shoot, which was utterly breathtaking. Finally, we were able to work a payment plan out beforehand in order to accommodate our budget, receiving the photos after our final payment. We would definitely recommend her for any of your photo needs! :) -

Best Decision Ever!
There are not enough stars to rate Emerald Anchor! I am so glad we went with them. There was not a single detail that she didn’t capture. What is amazing is there were pictures taken I would not have thought to have and glad we did! Their creative ability is truly amazing! I would highly recommend them! Not only do they take great pictures, but, they get to know the couple first!!! Book them now! -

We could not be happier with Emerald Anchor Photography! Arika and Tim are so nice, helpful, and the pictures are absolutely beautiful. We will be proud to show these off forever. Before the wedding, they took a lot of time to get to know us. We had a long google hangout between us and the couple just to get acquainted and discuss the game plan. Arika was so communicative throughout the process and made us feel so at ease. Arika sent us several timelines to work off of based on previous weddings they had shot, and our wedding coordinator said that the outline we gave her based on this recommendation was the most detailed she’d ever started with. Although we didn’t have an engagement session (totally because of us, not Emerald Anchor), Arika and Tim drove in early all the way from OH to GA in order to have time to take a few shots before our rehearsal. We immediately felt at ease with the team. They are so easy-going and give directions that are easy to follow. We had never taken professional pictures before, but their directions made it so easy. They stayed for our ENTIRE wedding, and it was so nice not to worry about getting the exit in before the photographers left. We never felt rushed, and both Arika and Tim really make sure that the photos are looking good quickly before moving on so that everyone is happy with the end product. They were so great throughout the entire process, and worked well with huge family photos, couple shots, and even five little flower girls (seriously, Arika got six kids under 8 to look in one picture, which is a miracle in itself)! So many family members and friends have continued to tell me how friendly and helpful our photographers were for weeks after the wedding, and that was before seeing the photos! We got our “sneak peak” yesterday, which included EIGHTY amazing photos! The photos are perfectly edited and look amazing. We cannot wait to see the full gallery because we were so thrilled with the first taste. Arika and Tim are absolutely amazing, and I cannot recommend them enough for your wedding photography experience. -

Breathtaking pictures and so much more!
Words cannot begin to describe how wonderful Arika and Tim of Emerald Anchor Photography are, but I am going to try. I found Arika while looking at photographer pages on Instagram. The rich colors and the true joy and passion she captures in her subjects really stood out to me. It just so happened that she was having a wedding session giveaway and, much to my shock, we were selected. The incredible process of working with Emerald Anchor Photography began.
I did have some concerns working with photographers from many states away (they are based in Ohio and we live in Florida), but my fears were completely unfounded. From the very first email, Arika and Tim were much more than just photographers. They took the time to set up video conferences throughout the process and were always very responsive to our emails and texts. Despite never having met in person, I felt that they took an honest, personal interest in us as a couple, and it felt more like working with friends than strangers. Our time spent getting to know each other through the video conferences, emails, and texts helped Erika and Tim tailor our photography experience to truly capture what it meant to be us on our special day.
In addition to guiding us through the photography experience, they helped guide us through the entire wedding. I was doing the planning myself and was completely lost until Erika and Tim took the time to talk us through a typical wedding day. They even provided us with several sample timelines that we were able to pull from and modify to create our own. This was hugely helpful, and I owe the seamlessness of the day to them.
They began their time in Florida with us doing a short test session, so we could get comfortable with each other and adjust to working together. We did this instead of an engagement shoot, although they were exceedingly accommodating and willing to travel to make that happen for us too. Unfortunately my crazy schedule did not allow it. The phrase “above and beyond” is no cliché for Arika and Tim! They were with us from getting ready at the start of our wedding day all the way through the very end of our night. I was worried that it might feel forced or strange having people constantly snapping pictures of us all day, but they integrated themselves into the process in a way that was very natural.
When we received our pictures, which happened significantly faster than I expected, we were floored by the results! Each photo radiates joy and love. There is a stunning blend of exquisite portraits and vibrant, candid pictures that exude the emotions of the day. The colors are spectacular. I would recommend Arika and Tim of Emerald Anchor Photography to everyone, everywhere. Don’t let location discourage you from booking this incredible team. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but pictures that somehow capture the buzzing elation you feel while celebrating your love in marriage are absolutely priceless. -
