  Five stars aren't enough to truly encompass our experience with Embassy Suites (and Molly in particular)! From our initial email correspondences and meetings to our post-wedding-day wrap-ups, Molly was prompt, kind, immensely helpful, accurate, and enthusiastic. She truly listened to our ideas and did not push her own, and organized every last detail of our meals, timeline, guest rooms, and decor to ensure that our guests were comfortable and enjoyed themselves. Even though she was working with other couples and had another wedding the night before ours, I felt all along that she was just as excited for our wedding as we were.
  She made sure that our guest rooms were all listed (and went into the records to make day-of-arrival adjustments to ensure that the front desk staff handed our welcome bags to the proper guests), and she even secured a wheelchair for my Grandpa to use as necessary while he was here. Definitely above and beyond, in terms of an event coordinator!
  The food for the reception was DELICIOUS--it was a delightful problem to have that at our tasting, every option was fantastic. The chef was able to make adjustments based on a few dietary restrictions, as well as our preference for non-spicy foods.
  All of the rooms were clean and comfortable, and every member of the hotel staff that we encountered--from the front desk staff to the room service delivery staff to the polite and friendly servers at the reception--greeted us, congratulated us, and made us feel welcome.
  Our experience here was absolutely wonderful, and I am so thankful that we chose the Embassy for our "home base" during our wedding weekend. I absolutely recommend the venue to anyone considering a reception in the Beachwood area!

  Molly and all of the staff at Embassy Suites were absolutely great from the moment we began planning our day through the morning after. Everyone was friendly and professional, the ballroom and cocktail party area were beautiful and well-maintained, and all of guests were impressed by the food, drinks, and overall atmosphere. I highly recommend this venue for any event!

  Christy, the catering manager was great to work with, She was very responsive to calls and emails. It was a great space for our reception. It really worked well for us with many out of town guests.

  I had both my ceremony and reception at Embassy Suites Beachwood and could not have asked for a better experience! Two of the main reasons I chose this location after viewing 3 additional locations, was due to the financial value of the package, as well as atmosphere. It was a beautiful venue and we had a plated meal with a choice of 4 entrees. Both Kelly and Christy were easy to work with. I would send multiple e-mails on a consistent basis with questions or ideas and they always responded in a timely manner and ensured that my vision was executed. While I have high expectations, I was confident that they would ensure our ceremony and reception went off without any problems and they did.
  I would definitely recommend this venue to a couple! All of our guests who stayed in the block of rooms raved about the service they received, as well as the complimentary breakfast. My husband, our families and guests were all impressed with how flawless everything went. This was such a great choice and my husband and I could not have asked for a better wedding!!!!!

Everyone loved that they were able to leave the open bar reception and head safely back to their hotel room, without worrying about driving.   I was very impressed with all aspects of planning and having my reception at Embassy Suites in Beachwood. In terms of value, the package I went with covered everything from hor d'oeuvres to table linens to open bar to a suite for the groom and I to a chocolate fondue fountain for dessert. The catering manager I worked with (Kelly) was helpful from start to finish, helped me sort out all the little details so that on the big day I had no worries that everything would go off without a hitch.   our event planner was absolutely wonderful!!! mrs. lori doctor is very excellent at her job, she gets everything you want done, done fast!!! everything ran extremely smooth and if there were any problems we did not know about them because she had them taken care of before anyone knew.the food was wonderful!!! the steaks were enormous!!! we are soooo pleased with the service we recieved. we highly recommend embassy!!!

  Lori Doctor was great to work with throughout our planning process and extremely accommodating. Embassy Suites offered a better package at a better price than the other hotels we considered in the area. The location was perfect for our out-of-town guests who were quite impressed with the rooms. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. I was warned ahead of time that the atrium area gets warm because of the sunlights (which we experienced during one of our meetings), but the air conditioning was pumped up for our event which made a huge difference. Many of our guests have said it was one of the best weddings they have ever attended. Whether or not that is true, I know my husband and I were extremely happy with our choice and so is my Dad, who took care of the bill.

  DO NOT book your wedding with Embassy Suites Beachwood Ohio location. This is the most unorganized business I worked with during my wedding and unfortunately the biggest part of the wedding. There are too many things to even name in this review that went wrong but to highlight the main things. First off they switched catering managers 3 times in less than a yr. There were problems with guests getting rooms under our block and rooms weren't ready when arriving, we payed to keep the hotel bar open until 2 for a private party of our wedding guests, well other hotel guests were in bar and eating our food! So I payed to get them business. A gift and my guest book were found just sitting in the lobby by my mom at 1am. Biggest thing of all my wedding cake more than half of it got thrown out or taken by staff! I specifically told them we wanted to take home leftovers. The catering manager leaves after dinner and no one is in charge after that so I was told my cake was just gone they didn't know where it went! Through all this they never made me feel like I was right or that they did anything wrong. As a bride you don't feel important. The response time of the manager is slow, I had to remind her to email me back about things. This place is so unorganized and probably why they can' t keep a catering manager longer than a couple months. Way more little things happened so just trust me when I say go somewhere else!

  We signed with this hotel after going to a bridal show there. They had great value for what you got compared to a few other places we were looking at. We were then sent a letter saying they were doing a complete renovation at the beginning of 2013 and I got married in August 2013. Our first wedding planner said it would all be done a month before our wedding. There was then one point we didn't hear from her for weeks, and we ended up getting an email from another planner saying she was taking over our wedding. I wish I never dealt with this hotel it was nothing but a headache. The hotel was not done on time. I have pictures of construction and a worker behind me when we were told they would at least stop at 3pm the day of. It was so disorganized there, Kristy does not know how to run a wedding. We set up our rehearsal months ahead and she did not tell us until the day before that she was not going to be there but another girl would be. No one was there when we arrived. Lisa was very nice and stayed to listen to our officiant, but she was just walking by and we asked where our hotel representative was. I couldn't believe they have 3 wedding planners and no one came to our rehearsal. Kristy was asking my mother what rows to save for family for the ceremony the day of. When my party arrived to check in the morning Kristy was not even there, and did not arrive until the afternoon to meet with other brides to book their wedding! During the ceremony the runner was backwards and the guy opening the door where the bridal party came out was sliding it way open so everyone saw me. He closed it as it was about my time, but then opened it and jumped in front of me to grab the runner! So my first picture has a man in front of me! Kristy disappeared the rest of the night so we were on our own to figure times to start things. They closed the bar an hr before our contract says and said Moscato was not on it, but it was. One bartender didn't even know our signature drink.
