I chose Emaleena Styles for my wedding in December 2025 after she did such a wonderful job for my friend's wedding that I was also in. Emily was so reponsive from the beginning and very easy to communicate with! Her pricing was very reasonable and she was upfront about all of her services and expectations. She was able to help me find exactly what I was looking for and I felt heard the whole time. The makeup trial she was able to accommodate my schedule and meet with me on a weekend. It ended up snowing on my wedding day and she had no issue making it on time and making sure my girls and I were ready to go on time. My hair came out EXACTLY how I wanted it and it stayed all day and night, as did my makeup! Definitely would recommend her for any hair and makeup needs! -

10/10 - Book with Emily!
Highly recommend hiring Emily! She did my wedding makeup and absolutely crushed it. I did my trial the day of my bridal shower and it survived getting caught in the rain. I was literally drenched and it still looked flawless. Wedding day makeup was just as fabulous.
Emily is a joy to work with. She is easy going, great to talk to, and makes you feel comfortable the entire time. I will definitely be using her again in the future! -

I had a very positive experience working with Emily for my wedding. She was able to travel to me, even though we had a very small wedding party. Emily was amazing to work with for my wedding hair! I had a large wedding party and she and her team easily accommodated me and my girls on the day. She and her team were prompt and on time! We even got all of our hair done ahead of schedule. Emily worked with me to set up a timeline. We had a great time during our trial. Emily executed my vision flawlessly. My hair stayed all day even with all the dancing. I was able to gift all of my bridesmaids and moms hair for my wedding due to Emily’s budget friendly prices. You know what they say.. the happiest brides, make the best brides ! And the reason behind my happiness (of course, my husband !) but it was hands down Emily and her crew !!! Emily, I cannot thank you enough for all the amazing services you provided with such grace and professionalism from start to finish. I could not be happier! 1.5 years ago, I had my hair and makeup done for my engagement with another H/MUA and I was so unhappy and scarred but during my trials with Emily, she helped me achieve the perfect look for me! I am in love with soft glam and I don't like foundation that much.. she made me look like myself with beautiful pinks and glitters for eyeshadow, blush etc and every single look, I fell in love with. The first event, I did hollywood curls - they stayed and looked perfect! The second event, I did half up half down and I didn't want hair in my face and she achieve this look so amazingly.. the twist around looked so so cute. The third event, I wanted a bubble braid, loved it! The last event I was nervous bc Emily wasn't going to be able to make it, one of her team members came but she achieved the perfect makeup look and the bun with my red hair flowers look FLAWLESS and in every single event, my hair looked normal/not stuck together/shiny/flawless and just beautiful and most importantly, comfortable. My sister and niece also did their hair and makeup with her and they were just so so so happy with everything! We love subtle yet cute and chic and she helped us achieve that. Gothic wedding style
I could not have made a better choice working with Emily for my wedding events. Communication was timely, consistent, & concise. Emily was prompt, professional, & extremely knowledgeable about their products & industry. Her and her girls were so good with my mom who has not worn makeup in 20 years and was very uncomfortable getting in full glam. Her studio is very warn and comfortable & she was very respectful of my home day of the wedding. Will be using her for all future glam needs. -

I reached out to Emily based on a recommendation from another bride at my venue - her prices and travel fee were reasonable and her communication was great leading up to my trial and wedding day. I have very oily, textured, pale skin with a lot of scarring and during my trial and on wedding day Emily was so receptive to my concerns and any changes I wanted to make. We did airbrush during my trial but on wedding day, Emily expertly recommended that we skip the airbrush and go for a more glowy, lighter look that would match my coloring and texture better, and it was 100% the right call. A lot of brides, myself included, want to feel "like me, but better!" and that is exactly what I got. I got multiple comments that my makeup looked BETTER, not worse, as the night went on. I was a little worried that no airbrush would mean no matte staying power, but that wasn't true at all and is a testament to Emily's skill and quality work! Emily's entire team was efficient and friendly, and they finished an hour early even with 15 services done across 8 girls. I felt so beautiful all day and I really appreciate how responsive and thoughtful Emily was all morning. I recommend booking without any hesitation!!! -

Incredible hair artistry
Emily was so responsive in email from inquiry straight through my big day. I had met her multiple times for two bridal trials and she never failed to make me feel absolutely beautiful. I was floored by her hair artistry and had TWO hair styles done by her that I absolutely loved. She was upbeat, friendly, and made me feel so comfortable. She also was extremely kind if I asked for slight changes to ensure I was happy and confident. Would HIGHLY recommend her work!!! Emily and her team are super talented. I met her at a bridal expo. After reaching out to a few H&MU vendors who were out of my budget, I reached out to her. She was super responsive during planning. She did a great job during my trial and was open to making any changes to the look.
The day of the wedding her team came early and finished us up early, with enough time for touch ups. Both her and I almost forgot to use the extensions I bought… but thankfully she was able to add them in and still had us finished in time! I received so many compliments from my bridal party and guests about how our hair and makeup looked stunning and lasted so well all night, even through all my tears throughout the day. I highly recommend her if you are in the Central/South Jersey or Philly area! -

Emily and her team was absolutely AMAZING. They made each of my bridesmaids feel beautiful in their own way. My mom, who hasn’t worn makeup since the 90s was thrilled and Emily was so patient and kind with my 9 year old flower girl who had mild autism. Emily was patient and took each girls requests and turned their makeup into something spectacular. I am very picky and Emily accommodated each change/request I had and was happy to do so with a smile on her face. She was so funny and kind and helped take the nerves of the day away. 10/10 recommend EVERYONE to check out Emily from EmaleenaStyles. Absolutely incredible. -

Perfect for the newbies to the professionals
I was referred to her from my sister in law because Emily did her wedding makeup. My sister in law is in the "hair field" (forgive me i am not sure of her position/title) but she trusted Emily to do my hair/make up because of her flexibility and adaptivity to everyone's face/skin color/hair type/desires, etc. With that in mind, I have never had my make up or hair done for a special occasion (even did my own for prom) so I had NO IDEA what to expect. Emily set up the "pre-wedding" makeup/hair draft day. She sat with me and took notes on what my usual make up style/color scheme is, what i would like or what I am thinking, and of course Pinterest inspiration. She was willing to do whatever I was thinking but also was confident enough in her job to suggest things/ideas/changes which was very helpful for a newbie like me because i am not aware of all that goes into styles, etc. She also was amazing with my bridal party, especially my mom who never wears foundation/etc and Emily created a look for her with using products that she has used in the past not making her do things or try things that she is not comfortable with. -

Top notch team & work!
Emily and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with! Everyone looked amazing and we all received tons of compliments throughout the day! They did my friends weddings makeup, and that was enough of a validation for me to hire them! My hair and makeup lasted all day and well into the evening hours with lots of dancing.

Amazing Hair & Makeup
Working with Emily was a breeze. She kept everything organized. Day of wedding, Jess everyone’s hair super fast and it was truly amazing! She was able to curl and style all 7 girls in a matter of a couple hours. All of girls had different styles, and Jess executed them all effortlessly! Makeup artists we had Jolisa and Amber. Both girls were truly talented. My bridesmaids varied in styles from full glam to soft glam depending on what they were comfortable with, and overall everyone looked flawless! We had 9 girls getting makeup done and again that was done faster than I would have even expected. All of our hair, makeup and lashes stayed all night! (And even some to the next morning!) I cannot recommend Emily & her team enough! They truly made me feel like a glamorous bride! -

Emily is absolutely amazing! She is beyond helpful and accommodating! From booking, to trial, to day of shes prompt, thorough and sure everything is taken care of.
She makes everyone in your bridal party feel stunning! My mom had never had her make up done professionally nor had ever worn fake eyelashes. Emily made her feel so comfortable about both and she looked amazing!

Emily and her team did an outstanding job for myself, bridesmaids & family members for my July wedding ! She was easy to get talk to when bouncing off ideas for different looks for my wedding and made me feel so comfortable and at ease during the entire process! Her work is by far the best I’ve ever come across and she is beyond authentic and personable! Her team was able to give everyone their own unique look and boy did we all look fabulous! Her communication was great and she and her team arrived early to the hotel to get everyone ready. Her team was able to get everyone ready in a sufficient amount of time where we still had enough time to hang out before getting into our dresses for the ceremony!
I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup at the wedding even on the way to the wedding when I made a quick stop at Wawa the cashier complimented me on the work she done! My makeup and lashes stayed put all night giving me a glowing effect in every photo! My hair with held all the dancing I did and mind you I danced the whole night! Emily made me look breathtaking for my big day! All of my bridesmaids, my stepmom, and the mother of the groom were so pleased with the work that was done to both their hair & makeup too! Emily and her team did an outstanding job on my large bridal party for my August wedding. She was easy to get along with and made great suggestions for makeup that really worked for me since I don't normally wear makeup. Her communication was great and she and her team arrived early to the hotel to get everyone ready. We had a total of 10 people having services performed and we were done and on the way to the venue early!!
I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup at the wedding it was unbelievable! My makeup and lashes stayed put all night and even after 10 hours my hairstyle was for the most part intact. Emily made me look perfect for my big day! All of my bridesmaids, flower girls, and the mother of the groom were super happy with their hairstyles and makeup as well!

A friend suggested I look into Emily's services, and WOW am I glad I listened. From my engagement shoot, the trial to the wedding day, Emily was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Communication throughout the process was open and easy. She's a complete joy to be around which is an added bonus when you're spending such a long time in a chair with a vendor! The 4 additional girls she brought along were just as amazing as her! My bridesmaids, mom, MIL and daughter looked so amazing, I was so happy. My sister even slept in her makeup the night of the wedding and woke up the next morning and it still looked the same! LOL! I'd recommend Emily and her team over and over again. -

Emily and her team are so talented. I first saw Emily's work on Instagram and she was one of the first vendors I booked for our wedding. She got back to me quickly, was easy to book with and prices were affordable. The trial was fantastic, she helped me decide on my look as I wanted something a bit more dramatic, and she suggested colors that really complimented my features. She takes her time with your makeup and it was more perfect than I could have ever imagined. I felt so beautiful and so confident! I would 1000% recommend Emily to any bride. -

**Update**
On the day of the wedding Jesse & Rachel were amazing (Rachel prepped my hair with dye and gloss the Monday prior). Day of the girls were early, and made us all look beautiful I cant thank them enough, I felt like a million bucks!!!
I had the pleasure of having Emily's Stylists for my wedding. The trail was smooth and we were able to go over the look I wanted for the day, I was able to meet the hairstylist Rachael prior to have my hair dyed and glossed. On the day of the wedding Jessi and Rachael were on time and did an amazing job, even when we needed a few extra adjustments. I felt like a million bucks, I had so many compliments. Talented, professional, punctual
I have personally known Emily for most of my life & it was very meaningful for her to do my makeup on my wedding day. Her 4 other artists who came to us for hair and makeup were fabulous. Their professionalism and punctuality and attention to detail was the reason I and all of the ladies in my wedding party looked absolutely beautiful- and for many hours as well. Absolutely amazing!
I don’t even know where to begin with Emaleena Styles because Emily and her team are absolutely AMAZING! Emily did my makeup and hair for my wedding and it was like the most magical transformation ever!!! I almost didn’t recognize myself!!! She got the look I was aiming for absolutely perfectly!!! I think my hair and makeup were my favorite thing about my entire wedding because she did such an amazing job!!! My bridesmaids all looked phenomenal too thanks to Emaleena Styles! I had a variety of ethnicities in my bridal party from Asian, white, and African American and they were able to make everyone’s makeup perfect which I know can be hard for different skin types! She was on time and brought everything she needed to make everyone look beautiful! -

My husband and I postponed our wedding twice due to Covid. Emily and I have rescheduled together both times and she was able to do my hair and makeup for my day. Emily is so sweet and funny to work with! She really understands the flow of the day and is quick to redirect a stressful situation (like photographers coming too early). I was completely blown away by my hair and makeup for my trial and my wedding day that I cried both times. Emily and her team made my wedding day extra special. The communication from start to finish was super easy and seamless, especially given the stressful nature 2020 has been with rescheduling. Emily was incredibly flexible, helpful, and made me feel comfortable throughout both the trial and wedding day. I love, love, love makeup - and when I saw her work online, I knew her style was exactly what I was looking for. I received numerous compliments from all my guests and social media. She was professional, on time, friendly, and patient to work with my every changing requests♡ My makeup was simply stunning! When planning a wedding, there’s a lot on your plate. From finding the perfect dress to figuring out the theme and colors you want. Your goal is usually to have everything be as perfect as possible. When I was searching for a make up artist i wasn’t exactly sure what style I wanted not only for myself but the rest of the girls in my party. Emily is not only professional, but she is super responsive and accommodating, you can tell she absolutely loves what she does because it shows in her work. Emily is great! She made me feel extremely comfortable during the trial and I was excited for the wedding day. My makeup was absolutely perfect; I'm still blown away by how great it looks in photos. My hair was also wonderful, although the bun started coming out during cocktail hour. I think with everything happening, I didn't even realize that sections of my bun had come undone (or I would have had a bridesmaid put more bobby pins in), but in the photos I can see it.
Emily also did the hair for all of my girls and they all raved about it and looked great!
Emily also brought another makeup artist to work on the bridesmaids and my mom. Some of the girls with lighter hair were not happy with how dark their eyebrows looked when they were filled in. Instead of just changing it, this secondary artist told them they "weren't used to having eyebrows". This may be true, but if its what the customer wants, I feel she should've just changed it from the beginning.
Also, the final cost was not the same as the cost originally discussed. It was about 50 dollars more. I know that's not major, but I'm a big planner and I felt I was blindsided with the new price, and since I had to get in my dress and get out to the first look, it made the whole thing more uncomfortable than it had to be. I had provided a list of names as to who was getting traditional verse airbrush makeup, but apparently, the secondary artist gave everyone airbrush makeup. I'm not sure if my girls were asked and they just didn't realize the difference or what, but I thought since I gave the list of names I wouldn't have to follow up on this. Also one of the mom's was changed from having her short hair blown out to being styled, which I wasn't there to witness but the photos look like just a blow out so that's a little confusing too.
Overall I'm very happy with Emily! She's wonderful with makeup and recreated hair photos perfectly! I'm just a type-A planner and worrier, so for things to be changed at the last minute, and all while I'm trying to get in my dress and out the door was stressful. -
