Beautiful hair dos and fun times!

I found Elyse through a referral from a friends wedding and I couldn't be more grateful that she did our hair! Our wedding was originally in 2020 and we rescheduled twice and each time she was friendly, patient, flexible, and kind! On our actual day we all had a lot of fun with her while getting ready. She did an awesome job on everyone's hair!

Professional, Personable, Made my hair look AMAZING

If you want someone you can trust to make your hair look GORGEOUS look no further! Elyse was very fun to be around and she worked with many different types of hair on my wedding day and EVERYONES HAIR LOOKED AMAZING! Every example I showed her came to life and my hair held THE WHOLE NIGHT LADIES! I was dancing and jumping and getting bumped all night and my hair was good to go!!! I recommend Elyse for any event honestly! She is very up to date with her style and listens to every detail. Her pricing was PERFECT for me and my bridesmaids who were on a budget! My mom, bridesmaids and I all felt absolutely gorgeous on the day of my wedding thanks to Elyse!

The absolute best...

My wedding was just yesterday and I couldn’t wait to write a quick review for Elyse. She is so ridiculously talented. I’m pretty picky about hair and I hate when formal hairstyles look too teased and frizzy and helmet-heady.....not with Elyse. She did three completely different hairstyles for myself, my mom, and my MOH, (an old Hollywood style for me, a tousled romantic updo for my MOH, and a clean chignon style for my mom) all of which turned out absolutely perfect and lasted all day and night. She also did hair for my three flower girls, and they all looked adorable and age-appropriate. On top of all of that, she is so easy to talk to and exactly the type of energy you want in the room on such a big day. I cannot recommend her or thank her enough!

I don’t usually write reviews but Elyse was awesome so I had to. I have 10 bridesmaids and they all loved her so much. I have to recommend Elyse to every bride that needs a hair stylist. She’s didnt only do amazing job on my hair but we were so late and she was very easy going about it.

Elyse provided hair services for all 6 of my bridesmaids and my mom this past weekend and everyone looked incredible!! She is truly so talented and every girl was gushing about their look! My mom, who never gets professional styling services, was clueless and Elyse made her look flawless! I can't wait to see the wedding photos we had done but ive attached my moms hair because she looked and felt gorgeous! Haha thanks so much Elyse!! You're incredible!

I contacted Elyse only a few weeks before my wedding as I had let my other stylist go. I loved the pictures I saw of previous weddings she had done and she really delivered on that and more on my wedding day! I had a trial with her and had a completely different style but last minute I decided I wanted something else. I showed her a picture and she did it better than I could have imagined on the day! She’s cool under pressure and really gives you exactly what you want. My day in April was so hot and my style and girls styles stayed perfect all day and night! I would really recommend her, she’s a gem!

Elyse is down to earth, cool under pressure, and does not give up until everyone is 110% happy with their hair style. I would highly recommend her to any bride who is extremely particular about her hair (like me, unfortunately!). I went through 2 other failed hair trials before my mom discovered her, and I am so thankful to her for making me feel like a glammed-up version of myself on my wedding day!

Elyse and her second stylist Melanie were absolutely amazing! She was very communicative with me via email beforehand and helped me to choose the right accessories for my hair. The day of, they showed up right on time and actually finished all 9 ladies ahead of schedule! They were so professional and everyone looked gorgeous. My hair even held its curl through the next day brunch! She is so awesome and I would highly recommend her to anyone for their wedding day!!

Elyse made me feel like a princess on my wedding day. My hair was perfect and all my bridesmaids looked fabulous(everyone has completely different hair textures btw). She kept everything right on schedule to make it a very stress free day! I am so happy that I chose the best hairstylist in the Philadelphia/Jersey area.

Very professional and on time. everyone's hair and makeup is amazing!. we did not tell her what to do for my bridesmaid's hair, she came up with perfect styling that suit everyone. We were very happy about everything.

Elyse did such an incredible job with the hairstyling for our wedding! I showed her two different hairstyles for my trial, and she combined them into one perfect style. If I thought the trial was beautiful, it was nothing compared to how my hair looked on the wedding day. I could not have imagined it looking better. In addition to that, Elyse stuck to the schedule, and everyone's styles stayed in tact for the duration of the day. Highly, highly recommend!!

Elyse did an amazing job with my wedding crew's hair. She was responsive, communicative and flexible when plans changed. I showed her what I wanted my hair to look like and she delivered exactly that at the trial and then also 8 months later on the day of the wedding, I think it looked even better! Everyone whose hair she did was thrilled with how they looked. Would definitely hire her again!

Elyse was an amazing wedding hair stylist! My hair is very fair and does not hold curl, Elyse was able to add clip in extensions and give it a lot of volume. All of my bridesmaids looked AMAZING and each of their styles really fit their personalities. Getting ready for my wedding was one of my favorite memories and I will definitely look for reasons to hire Elyse to do my hair in the future!

Elyse was extremely responsive and does beautiful work! She accommodated me on a sunday night for my hair trial since I was coming from the Delaware beaches and during the week was not possible. She also accommodated another bridesmaid the day of who wanted hair done and we were still on time. I showed her a couple pictures and she delivered exactly what I wanted and the style lasted all night. I only needed one extra bobby pin after I removed my veil and the look stayed all night. Also, important to me was that my hair still flowed and could be touched without feeling (or looking) rock hard. Overall for the price and for the quality I would say you couldn't get better!

AAAmazing! I was super nervous about my hair for my wedding day....until my trial with Elyse! I am super picky about my hair...wanted extensions, long flowing curls, and half up with a little braid...and she did exactly that and more...making me look magical on my wedding day! And to top it off, was so sweet and kept me calm/laughing!

Elyse did an amazing job on my bridesmaids, mom and myself. I was very indecisive on how I should style my hair for the big day and she recommended a style that she thought would work on me, and it was PERFECT. She even went out and got extensions and dyed them to my hair color perfectly. She is so talented and creative and will work with you to help you figure out what you want. My mom also absolutely loved her hair, she looked phenomenal. I highly recommend her!!

Elyse is quick to respond and such a sweetheart. I was in a mad dash to find hair/makeup 2 months before my wedding and she contacted several makeup stylist for me. Her work is flawless. Her prices are very reasonable. I would book her asap and her recommended makeup artists. She also asked me to send pictures of what I was thinking right away which was an extra perk. It made me feel like she was just as excited and interested as I was.

Elyse is an amazing hairstylist who I hired for my wedding on 5/7/16. Not only did she arrive at the venue promptly, but she remained there until I was about to walk down the aisle!! She definitely took her time and never made anyone feel rushed. Elyse was able to create some classy and trendy styles for my bridesmaids and I. She is very talented and All of us were very happy!! Elyse has been my stylist for the past 9 years - and I wouldn't go to anyone else! She has always given me exactly what I ask for and suggests the best cuts and color for me. She was also my stylist for my wedding in 2009. She gave me and my 6 bridesmaids gorgeous up-dos. She makes sure to stay classic but always on trend. I would recommend Elyse to anyone! Elyse did my hair and makeup for a wedding on 9/19/15. She came to my home, arrived promptly on time and was prepared with anything/everything that could possibly arise for the beautification process! Her products were high end and she literally transformed me from an average gal to a dramatic albeit natural looking princess. Elyse had several ideas already laid out for my hair style (I told her from the get go when we talked about it that I wanted something curly but she could run with it) and had images available to scroll through so I could select what I liked best. She started on my make up first and blended the foundation perfectly - couldn't see any lines at all. Next she defined my eyes in smoky undertones so they popped and expertly applied lashes that with the mascara - looked so real and stunning. I didn't realize makeup could transform the way it can...I've always been a big believer that "paint makes a woman what she aint" and there are definitely occasions that mandate the rule be upheld (i.e. My stepson's wedding!!!!). Elyse then started on my hair - which she whipped into this beautiful and elegant updo in record time. The best part of all of it - at the end of the night (after dancing and partaking in several luscious beverages), my make up looked flawless, my eyes were stunning and there wasn't a piece of hair out of place. I woke up the next morning and my hair was still neatly pinned with only a few tendrils that had escaped. VERY impressed and worth every penny & then some!

Thanks Elyse for making this occasion special and making me feel incredible about myself. :) Can't wait for the next event - you're on speed dial.

Elyse has been doing my hair for years, and I would not have chosen anyone else to do my hair for my important day! Elyse knows exactly what to do to make you feel beautiful and happy. Elyse was fantastic. I worked out my hair trial on a night that I had another event and she recreated it on my wedding day perfectly, even with a few additions I had decided on last minute. My hair is on the thinner side but she managed to make a braid that had volume and looked just like the photo I showed her. She traveled to our venue and brought everything! She is a mobile hair salon. I had four bridesmaids and she did the hair for both mothers and some friends with time to spare.

Elyse also did my hair when I was a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding and I couldn't wait to come up with another hairstyle to try with her. Again it was fantastic. People called me Princess Elsa all night.

I would recommend Elyse ten times over. She is so sweet and accommodating.

Elyse is as good as it gets! She did hair and makeup for my beach wedding in September 2012. She did a fantastic job. I couldn't have been happier. Elyse is so talented and very professional. I would highly recommend her services!

Elyse was Amazing! My first experience with her was at my friends wedding and she did such an amazing job I had to book her for my own. Elyse did my hair and makeup. Do to living out of state I did not do an consultation with her, but I trusted her from my previous experience. When she arrived in the morning she was very polite and excited which made mysf and my bridesmaids even more excited! She took her time and made she everyone was happy. She executed all of our hair and makeup exactly how we wanted. I didn't ever have an exact style I wanted for my hair and makeup. I have her a general idea and showed her some pictures I like. The hairstyle I wanted was an updo with braids incorporated. What my hair and makeup came out to be perfect. She put my million ideas and vague description together and it turned out to be everything I could have dreamed have dreamed. I would highly recommend Elyse!

I could say so much about Elyse! Hiring Else was the best decision I made about my wedding!! Her skills are outstanding! I LOVED every time she did my hair! Not only did she do a trial, but she was also willing to cut & color my hair just before the wedding to have it exactly how I wanted it!! If you need make-up service, she finds someone to work with her. There was a bit of an issue with one girl she had planned to get for my makeup, but let's just say Elyse handled it extremely well & professional. And honestly, I'm glad it happened because I ended up having Dana do my makeup, and you NEED to have Dana do your makeup with Elyse!!! Dana was unbelievable. I was obsessed with my makeup!!!! They are a dynamite duo together!!! All the guests RAVED about my hair & makeup, and the 5 other girls they did (mom, sister/MOH, and 3 bridesmaids)!! They were perfect with the timing (even surprised my mom lol). They were like our 'girlfriends', super friendly & nice, helping us relax the whole day! I KNEW she was the right choice when I first saw her portfolio on WeddingWire, and I'm so glad I wasn't wrong! You will NOT regret choosing Elyse (& Dana)!!!

Elyse herself is talented and personable. She was professional and prompt. She brought a colleague to do makeup who was unpleasant to be around and overdid my makeup and made my mom look old :( Elyse reached out to me and apologized for her colleague and was very understanding but ultimately I chose another vendor because it was a bummer, overall.
