Eloping is Fun are amazing!
From the moment we started planning our elopement in New York City, the entire team made us feel supported, excited, and totally at ease. Becca, our planner, was absolutely amazing. She handled every detail and made the whole process effortless. Matt, our officiant, was perfect and made our vows feel so personal and special. Jonica, our photographer, WOW, she captured every single moment beautifully, from the big smiles to the little in-between moments that make the day truly memorable.
Peter, our vintage cab driver, was incredible and so knowledgeable about the city. He made our taxi rides not just transportation, but part of the experience. Josh, our videographer, was flawless, capturing the day perfectly, and the pianist added the exact right mood to our ceremony. Every single member of the team went above and beyond to make the day magical.
The whole experience felt completely “us.” From laughing together while navigating busy streets in our wedding outfits to grabbing a slice of pizza right before saying our vows, every moment was authentic and fun. We haven’t stopped talking about our elopement since we booked it and would recommend it to anyone considering skipping a traditional wedding for something personal, stress-free, and unforgettable.
Choosing to elope was the best decision we could have made. It let us focus entirely on each other, soak up every moment, and create memories that are completely ours. If you want a day that’s joyful, unique, and full of love, this team is everything you could hope for. -

I honestly can’t express how amazing our wedding was! Eloping is Fun made everything absolutely seamless from start to finish.
Becca, our incredible guru, was truly a gem — always checking in, following up on every detail, and even helping us coordinate hair and makeup trials leading up to the big day. She went above and beyond to make sure everything ran perfectly. The itineraries she created for both us and our guests were thoughtful, organized, and made the day flow effortlessly.
We had such a great time with Jenny during our photo session before the ceremony. She instantly understood us as a couple and took us to the most perfect spots that really reflected our personalities. The ceremony itself couldn’t have been more beautiful — with the city as our natural backdrop, it felt magical. Jenny captured every moment, every smile, every family member — she even stopped traffic to get the perfect shot!
And Joel, our officiant, was the perfect choice! We chose him for his unique style and fun energy, and he completely exceeded our expectations. He took the stories we each sent him and wove them together beautifully, sharing them with our family before our vows. It was heartfelt, personal, and just the right touch of humor — absolutely perfect for us.

Eloping is Fun made our special day feel incredibly personal, seamless, and—true to their name—so much fun. From the start, the team was prompt, responsive, and totally accommodating. They created a custom itinerary that included everything we hoped for, and they delivered on every detail.
They also gave us amazing recommendations for hair, makeup, florals, and cake, which made planning so much easier—we didn’t have to put sweat and tears into pulling everything together. It felt like we had a built-in support team who truly cared about making our day stress-free and beautiful.
On the big day, we had our dream photos taken at the Metropolitan Museum, hopped into a vintage taxi for some classic NYC shots, and exchanged our vows in a quiet, romantic spot in Central Park near Glen Span Arch. The whole day felt like a fairytale.
One heads-up: if you're choosing multiple photo locations (totally worth it!), be ready to move! I'm so glad I wore sneakers under my dress—highly recommend that little trick.

Where do I even begin?! If you're dreaming of an unforgettable, joy-filled, stress-free wedding day that feels like something out of a movie — stop right here. Eloping Is Fun is everything you’re hoping for and more. Jenny, the brilliant owner, and her extraordinary team made our entire experience truly magical from start to finish.
From our very first call, we knew we were in the best hands. Becca, our coordinator and all-around wedding fairy godmother, is a total rockstar. She didn’t just plan our wedding day — she created a full-on experience. From perfectly orchestrating our 7-hour tour of NYC to helping us plan the ideal pre-wedding events, she made every moment sparkle.
Before the big day, Becca helped us organize a fabulous dinner and tickets to Drag! The Musical — the perfect Off-Broadway show that was so us, it felt like she plucked it straight from our brains. Her recommendations for the rest of our trip were equally spot-on — fun, unique, and full of heart.
On the big day, we adventured through NYC like VIPs: Central Park, Top of the Rock, the majestic New York Public Library, the historic Stonewall Inn, and a sweet stop at Posh Pop Bakeshop for gluten-free treats that were to die for! And as huge animal lovers, our hearts were so full when we made a stop at Animal Haven, a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter — such a special and meaningful moment. Becca made sure it all happened seamlessly, joyfully, and beautifully.
Our dream team included:
- Jonica, our photographer, who captured every look, laugh, and loving glance with such talent and artistry that looking at the photos feels like reliving the best day of our lives.
- Shane, our videographer, who created a cinematic, emotional, and totally epic video that we’ll treasure forever.
- Rev. Love, our incredible officiant, who saw us for who we are and wrote a ceremony that was heartfelt, hilarious, personal, and perfect. We cried, we laughed, we swooned — it was everything.
- Finally, our ceremony at the stunning Lofts at Prince was the most beautiful ending to an extraordinary day. Every single detail was flawless. Every moment was full of love, meaning, and FUN.
I could write a novel about how amazing this experience was, but I’ll sum it up like this: Eloping Is Fun doesn’t just plan weddings — they create once-in-a-lifetime memories. Eloping with the Eloping is Fun Team was the best decision we could have made, and one that was SO US. This entire experience really made everything so unbelievably easy. We basically got to just show up (or in our case, they came to US at our incredible hotel) dressed and ready to commit to each other and a lifetime of love. Everything else was handled! It was beautiful, intimate, fun, and truly one of the most special days of our lives! Our planner Becca was so attentive, kind, and flexible to any changes we wanted to make in our itinerary. Freddy, our officiant, wrote a beautiful ceremony for us, and Jenny - photographer extraordinaire and so much more- was a delight to not just have capture our day, but also to spend our special day with. I cannot stress to you enough why you should choose eloping is fun for your nyc elopement.
From our first phone call I knew immediately I was going to have the best time. I had spoken with other elopement companies prior and it was obvious I was just another transaction to them. Jenny made me feel like I had known her my entire life the moment we met via zoom.
Becca, our micro wedding planner was also amazing!!! If I had any questions or concerns she was quick to get back to me and also always very helpful!!
Everyone who knows me kept saying how “oh my gosh you’re the least stressed bride I’ve ever met” and that’s all thanks to EIF. They took 100% of the stress out of it for me!! I wouldn’t have had it any other way!!!!
Ana our photographer was so sweet and patient with us. Getting pictures taken isn’t my husbands favorite thing to do but she got him to come out of his shell and he really enjoyed it!! I can’t wait to see our photos!!!
Overall we had the BEST DAY with EIF and if you’re even considering eloping in nyc set up a zoom call with Jenny and see for yourself.

Eloping is fun made our dream elopement come true! We had a few family and friends present who had never been to a smaller wedding before and they thought everything was just so perfect and organized and that the entire team was so helpful and sweet!
We loved working with Becca, Ashley, Krisanne, Lenin & Jenny. A total DREAM TEAM! We were debating a larger wedding and Jenny really helped us decide on something smaller that felt exactly like us. The day was absolutely perfect and the team helped us every step of the way. Every question we emailed over was answered so quickly, from logistics to brainstorming questions. Our photoshoot in Central Park with Krisanne was a core memory that we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives.

The EIF crew is top-notch. We knew we wanted to elope in NYC, but we didn’t know quite how. We wanted to elope in a way that was right for us - we wanted it to be beautiful and meaningful, not quick and cheap. Yet we didn’t have a lot of money to spend and we live abroad. So, we needed a relatively simple approach and carefree approach to planning our wedding. -

Once we decided to elope we sent an email to EIF. Jenny, the owner, read our email, saw how overwhelmed we were and gave us a call to calm us down. We hired her and her team on the spot. We used this group for our elopement recently in NY. They were fantastic. Their attitude, so positive. Easy to work with. Really flexible and helpful. We had our choice of photography, videography, locations, music, and officiants. We're from the UK and had big dreams of eloping in New York City, a place that means a lot to us as a couple. After a bit of research, we settled on using Eloping as Fun as they seemed like a fun, quirky company offering something a little different.
I contacted Jenny in January 2020, and she got back to me really quickly with all the details and answered my questions. We went ahead and booked their 3 hour elopement package, only to have our flights cancelled 2 months later due to the pandemic. In such an unprecedented situation (for us and them!), Jenny dealt with the situation with so much compassion and kindness. She offered to keep our booking open for as long as was necessary and checked in with us periodically to offer updates on the situation in NYC and keep us informed of changes to the marriage process caused by Covid.
When the US/UK border eventually opened almost two years later, it was so simple to get everything up and running again. Jenny even kept the price the same as it would have been two years previously, which was so kind considering the circumstances. As always, she was so responsive to my messages and put my mind at ease.
Finally, on 22nd April 2022 we tied the knot in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Rev Love (aka Joel) put together the most beautiful, hilarious ceremony for us based on our questionnaires and was such a calming presence on the day. Our photographer, Jonica, was equally as lovely and made us both feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She was so easy to chat to and it was a pleasure to meet her.
We paid extra to have the vintage taxi, which in my opinion is 100% worth it as the experience of driving around NYC in such a cool car made our day! It also got a lot of attention from passers by! The driver, Miguel, was such a nice guy and along with Jonica, they made the afternoon incredibly fun. Jonica had so many great ideas for photo locations - the spots she picked out in Tribeca and the West Village were stunning. We've only had our sneak peek of the photos so far but the photo featuring the taxi is so amazing that we'd be happy if that was the only one we got!
We honestly cannot rave about Eloping is Fun enough, and our elopement exceeded our wildest expectations because of them. If you're looking for a fun, unique and stress free way to get married then head straight to Jenny and the team. We have no idea why everyone doesn't just elope! It was the best :)

We didn't plan on eloping. Like many couples, we envisioned having a large, beautiful wedding...and then COVID happened. We put off planning a wedding...and then a baby happened! We finally decided that we wanted to get married, regardless of the pandemic, and we wanted something original, romantic and intimate. We were open to having some family there, but we really wanted a ceremony that was for US. Jenny and Matt gave us exactly what we wanted and more.
Jenny remained in contact with me through the entire planning process, which happened over 3 weeks or so. When our initial location fell through, she was ready with a list of alternative location recommendations. When we ran into hiccups securing the marriage license, she helped us through that process as well and reassured us to remain focused on the excitement of our upcoming nuptials.
On the day of the event, Mayleen was our photographer and reached out to me from that morning. She scouted our location out well before we arrived and had plenty of ideas to make our photos memorable. The Rev Matt was warm, welcoming and funny. He made the ceremony unique to us and heartfelt. By the time we said our vows, we were ALL emotional, Matt included!
Overall, they made our ceremony intimate, beautiful and just what we wanted. Our small group of family enjoyed the affair, and I would recommend the company to anyone! -

It is truly impossible to articulate how wonderful and unbelievable the Eloping is Fun Crew is in helping you create the elopement of your dreams--they are a collective of ABSOLUTE VISIONARIES AND MANIFESTERS! My now-husband Joe and I reached out to Eloping is Fun when we were trying to organize an intimate and affordable, but logistically-functional wedding ceremony in the midst of the COVID crisis.
2020 was supposed to be the year for us to set everything in motion towards marriage, but we felt stuck in trying to plan something that would capture everything that we wanted to achieve, especially with the global pandemic. With Eloping is Fun's comprehensive custom elopement packages and hands-on consultation/communication, our experience on our wedding day was beyond anything that we had ever conceptualized for ourselves.
At the end of our time with the Crew, the planning for our Lunar New Year 2021 elopement ceremony had culminated in a magical, vibrant whirlwind celebration that lasted the whole day, traipsing around New York City with a carefully coordinated itinerary and safe, social distancing protocols in place, along with the intimacy and romance we were hoping to capture. Our night ended in LITERAL FIREWORKS for the Year of the Ox! We continue to be blown away with the extra mile the Crew made in making our celebration the absolute best it could be.
We worked with the amazing Jonica and Jonathan for photography and videography, who were absolute rockstars in coordinating and capturing the ephemeral moments of our unforgettable day. Without their careful artistry, we would not have the incredible memories that filled our entire day. The kind Minister Matt officiated our ceremony, with a beautifully written narrative and special accordion performance of our favorite song in an unconventional artist loft in Brooklyn. Sweet Jenny planned our entire custom elopement itinerary from start to finish, with her inexhaustible energy and zest, encouraging my husband and I to dream bigger and better for ourselves while planning our event in the midst of COVID.
We are forever bursting at the seams with gratitude for Eloping Is Fun's service, professionalism, and personal investment in making our dream celebration of our love a reality. Since the very beginning in working with them, we felt so sure and secure in choosing them as our planners, that we also asked them if it would be possible for them to take our engagement photos a few weeks prior to our elopement day, to which Jonica graciously obliged. That said, anyone who would wish for a micro-wedding or elopement in New York with the intimacy and care they would hope for should hire Eloping Is Fun! As did many couples this year, we chose to elope on our original wedding date and push our big ceremony to next year. EIF was tremendously helpful and flexible in getting everything scheduled and pulling the elopement off with a bang! We got married on the steps of the NYPL downtown and it was perfect: the Most Rev Matt Levy officiated a kickass ceremony, Jonica took the most beautiful photos of us, and Peter (our vintage cab driver!) legit made us feel like movie stars. Love in the Time of Corona!
My now Husband and I contacted Eloping is Fun when our original wedding plans were cancelled due to Covid-19. The process of planning out elopement with Jenny and Matt was stress free and FUN! They coordinated our officiant and photographer and the process was very straight forward. We had an at home, rooftop ceremony officiated by Matt. His program was personal, funny, and sentimental. We laughed and cried and laughed some more and Matt even played us a song on his accordion! Our photographer Jonica was a rockstar, capturing special moments and all the excitement of the day. My husband and I are no pros at posing but Jonica put us at ease and the images turned out stunning! The absolute best!
My husband and I eloped from Scotland and we couldn’t have picked a better service than Eloping Is Fun. Initially we were drawn in by their absolutely incredible Instagram but after our first email with Jenny we knew we had made the right decision. She is such a warm and funny person who is completely in the right business - she just gets people and her expertise was essential for planning!
Our personalised ceremony in Greenpoint was conducted by the wonderful Shula who immediately put two nervous boys at ease. She has such a gift and made us laugh and cry in equal measure!
Our out of this world photographs were by the insanely talented Jonica who gave us the BEST wedding photos, more than we could’ve ever imagined. Over a year later and we still can’t get over them!

I will try my hardest to make this review now drag on, but I have no idea how to sum up how incredible our experience was without pouring my heart out. We had Jenny and Matt with us on our wedding day, and it was magical/funny/and truly such a freakin experience. The whole team is incredible and helpful, but Matt and Jenny (they run the biz, AND are the most adorable freakin couple ever), truly helped make our wedding day unforgettable and truly beautiful. From the moment we booked with Eloping, to the day of, Jenny has been there for me every step of that way. Whenever I had a question, or a concern, she did not hesitate to help me out. Seriously, I would email and she in a blink, always responded with reassurance. Jenny is a fantastic photographer with an eye for things. She made me (who is 10000% awkward lol) feel and look beautiful while we took photos before our ceremony . She made us laugh and she made us feel comfortable. Which I cannot stress enough. She made us forget the nervousness. She is the best and we love her so much!

He is the freakin man. He, made me laugh and ugly cry at the same time during our “I do’s”. It was the most perfect ceremony. Matt has a way with words, when I was standing there with my now husband, I fell in love all over again. Everyone loved him from his personality down to his mustache XD. We had our ceremony at dumbo during sunset, the view was absolutely amazing. The entire process was so beautiful, if i could do it again , I would in a heartbeat.
We are so incredibly lucky to have found and shared our special moment with Jenny and Matt.
A million times I wish I could thank them for making our wedding day the most perfect day.

Our wedding experience with Eloping is Fun far exceeded our expectations for our big day. We wanted a “just us” non-traditional event and they delivered on it all.
The Most Reverend Matt Levy wrote us a beautiful, hilarious and touching ceremony based on info we submitted. It was a dream to be able to giggle throughout and not to feel serious. Jenny coordinated a fabulously, curated photo shoot based on on info we provided. We opted to purchase an extra hour to squeeze in a little bit more, which was a great idea and they were happy to accommodate this.
The entire experience was a dream come true. No stress, hassle or drama. Just us and two of New York’s most fun people pulling off the most authentic, heartfelt wedding day. Would recommend a million times over. -

Other than my amazing choice of life partner, choosing EIF was the best decision I could have made in regard to my wedding day. Not only did they demonstrate just how fun - and absolutely beautiful! - eloping can be, but they made it so wonderfully easy, especially in light of all we had going on while planning the elopement. All of our queries (mostly how the possible inclement weather would affect our Brooklyn Bridge outdoor nuptials) were answered and assuaged in record time. Jenny has REALLY thought of everything (e.g. back-up locations; various payment options, especially for those eloping in NYC from abroad) and it shows in how seamless the entire process is. Furthermore, Jenny and the team recognize that it's all in the details and absolutely no detail was overlooked in any aspect.
Our wedding day was better than we anticipated and that was in no small part due to Shula and Jonica. Shula collated and presented our story in the most heartwarming way and Jonica was lovingly patient as she exercised her keen eye for the perfect shots. It's only been 4 days and we've already received a handful of photos from our wedding and they are STUNNING! We cannot wait to receive the final edit.
Thank you so much for EVERYTHING, Jenny, Jonica & Shula! Thank you for helping us exceed our expectations of an intimate wedding day that was memorable beyond words and perfectly personalized to us & our story. After I was stressing out about a reception hall we were thinking about booking, I looked up "Eloping in NYC" and then Eloping Is Fun popped right up and thank goodness! The available locations are so awesome and they really make everything stress free. Jenny is a saint and super easy to chat with. Jonica was our photographer and she was the one that I was chatting with leading up to the big day and she took care of all of the details. On the day of, there was an unexpected fence around the carousel in DUMBO, where we were originally supposed to have the ceremony. I was trying not to panic, so I emailed Jonica and with ease, she found another (better) location. SO GREAT! Matt Dallow was an awesome officiant. I cannot say enough nice things about this group. -

We had so much fun with the two of them and our only regret is that we didn’t learn about Matt’s New York tour guide company sooner!! Living in Australia it was really important for me to be able to communicate via email in the lead up, which was a breeze with Jenny! Jenny replied to all my emails within hours and the online platform for booking and payment was great. Jonica was our photographer and Shula was our officiant, both exceeded our expectations. Shula was gorgeous, so bubbly and easy going, it made us feel at ease straight away. Jonica....what a delight!!! She made the shoot so fun that the time flew by and the shots are so unique and beautiful! We felt so special. Please use eloping is fun if you are thinking of eloping in NYC, you won't regret it!!
