Beautiful venue, kind staff!

We had an amazing wedding day at Ellis ranch. Shawn was so kind to all of our guests and during the process of deciding on our venue and final details. We loved the natural beauty of Ellis Ranch, and how easy it was to set up and take down. Our guests have raved about how beautiful it is and how kind Shawn and the other bartender were!

Is very affordable

We are so excited With our up-and-coming wedding. We were impressed with the venue as well as the very affordable cost period We love the fact that we can self cater. This makes it even more afforball so glad. There are places like this available for a budget friendly wedding.The venue is stunning and beautiful And the owners are very nice

Incredible

The owners were extremely responsive and always were quick to answer questions. They worked with us the entire time, being informative and respectful of all our wants and needs. The venue was set up beautifully. They have expanded the Bridal suite which is a 10 out of 10. They even over came a situation with the water by bringing in water to the venue and handling it to where the guests never knew there was a problem. All tables, chairs, table clothes, plates, silverware and decorations were set up well in advance. Phenomenal job. We had to have our ceremony inside due to temperature and there was plenty of room for all 160 guests. If your going to have a wedding, have it here. Smooth and easy for the Bride and Groom. 10 out of 10. I recommend to everyone getting married!

Chiropractic wedding on a Ranch was a blast!

Thank you so much Ellis Ranch for a wedding celebration of a life time! My wife and I had such a great experience working with Sean. Our guests had a blast and enjoyed the ranch and the beautiful sun set. 10/10 would recommend again.

Beautiful Wedding Venue - from 10 to 300 people

Shawn and Kim were just amazing to work with for our 30 person wedding. All communication was super quick for every email and question we had. Shawn made us feel relaxed the entire time we were working with them and was flexible to what we had envisioned for our wedding.

The venue is just STUNNING! The way the rocks glow at sunset took our breath away. The porch with the fire ring for smores and the outdoor ceremony site was perfect for our relaxed, Colorado fall wedding. The decoration choices were awesome. We were able to show our guests the best of Colorado at Ellis Ranch.

If you are looking for a wedding venue from 10-300 people, Ellis Ranch should be at the top of your list.

Kind and committed!

Wow! Ellis Ranch was the perfect place for our wedding. Shawn and Kim were so kind and professional leading up to our wedding day and the day of. They really took care of us. Shawn was so helpful in ordering our linens and setting up the tables exactly how we asked. We loved that our ceremony could be right outside and our guests could come inside to party after. I would highly recommend Ellis Ranch if you are looking for a beautiful and affordable place to host your wedding. Also, if you are looking for experienced hosts that will guide you through the process and make you feel comfortable, Shawn and Kim are your people! Thanks!

Beautiful Venue

Ellis Ranch was so amazing to have a wedding at. The team that works there is so very nice and helps where ever they can. It was just so beautiful. Everything we could have wanted. Loved the Carriage House and the Carriage ride with Bonnie and Clyde. The owners were great to work with as well.

Gorgeous venue and easy experience!

Ellis Ranch was the perfect balance for us to enjoy our love of the mountains while still being close to town for the ease of our guests. The site itself is beyond gorgeous inside and out - we held our ceremony at the outdoor gazebo and the reception was in the large event hall. Both locations were beautiful even without decorations so in the end I really didn't feel the need to dress it up very much! There was enough space so our 225 person guest list didn't feel crowded at all. Sean and Kim were super easy to work with, responded quickly to my (increasingly frequent) questions, and help the entire day go so smoothly that I didn't worry about a single thing from start to finish. I very highly recommend Ellis Ranch for your site - reasonably priced, beautiful location, very easy to work with, and overall a great choice for such an important day!

Best Day Ever

We absolutely loved our wedding day. Shawn and Kim made sure everything went smooth. When we arrived everything was setup beautiful and easy for us to quickly decorate, the carriage house is so beautiful little decorations were needed. Would definitely recommend this venue.

Ellis Ranch was an amazing venue for my wedding. It was beautiful, easy to work with, and big enough for our guests to move comfortably. The ceremony setting is intimate and pretty with the benches, the backgrounds work lovely with pictures, and the barn is filled with such cool woodwork that minimal decor is necessary. Shawn and Kim worked great with my family, as I planned a wedding out of state, and we’re very accommodating. HIGHLY recommend Ellis for weddings, you will not be disappointed.

I can't begin to thank Shawn and Kim for such an amazingly perfect wedding for our daughter. They were so incredibly helpful and answered all of our questions, and were very flexible in setting up meeting times with our daughter and husband. Every aspect of the ceremony and reception was planned out and the entire evening ran smoothly without any obvious helpers in the mix. Hiring the horse and carriage is worth every penny! We received so many compliments after the wedding on how wonderful everything went and how much fun every guest had. We are so glad that our daughter decided to have her wedding in Loveland and chose Ellis Ranch!!

Ellis Ranch is definitely one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Northern Colorado. Kim and Shawn were great to work with. When first visiting, Shawn was very helpful in helping us vision our day at the venue and then throughout the process Kim was very responsive to every email question that I had. The day of ran very smoothly. The venue speaks for itself. We didn't have to do much decorating at all because it is already decorated so beautifully. The whole property is beautiful. We have only gotten a preview of our pictures, but the views in the back are amazing! Would highly recommend Ellis Ranch!

My husband and I had our wedding on July 21st, 2017 at the Ellis Ranch Event Center in Loveland, CO. First of all, as a horse lover, one of the main reasons we chose Ellis Ranch was because of the carriage ride, and I can honestly say, IT WAS SO WORTH IT!! I mean how many brides can say they were escorted to and from the isle in a horse drawn carriage? We chose the event center because we originally started out with a guest list of almost 200, and even though our final guest count ended up being a little less than 100, I am still glad we chose the event center. It gave us plenty of room to move around and I loved the rustic design and up-lighting. The day of our wedding it started to rain, so we were both worried because we had be looking forward to having our ceremony outside. Shawn calmly assured us, “ we’ll wait a few minutes to see if it stops, and if it doesn’t, we’ll wait a few more minutes.” We ended up having our ceremony outside, and although we still got spit on a little, it was well worth it. Kim and Shawn, and all of the Ellis family and staff were so friendly and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this BEAUTIFUL venue to any couple looking to “get hitched”. Thank you all for helping to make our special day so wonderful!

We highly recommend Ellis Ranch for your wedding! Not only is it affordable, but they work with you as much as you want! The venue offered everything we wanted and provided excellent service before, during and after the wedding. I chose to be my own wedding planner and would not have been successful without the well-organized process Ellis has. They gave us a list of things we need to remember on the wedding day, provided us with plenty of options for decorating, bar service and linens. My favorite part was they let us have the wedding we wanted, they would offer advice when needed but allowed us to make it our own. The facility was spotless and everything was setup exactly like we had asked the moment we walked in the venue for our wedding day. The horse and carriage ride into the ceremony is well worth the money, I still have family members, friends and coworkers coming up to me raving about how “magical” that entrance was!

The Carriage House wedding and reception site was perfect! It was beautiful, easily accessible and had everything we could possibly want. We used vendors they recommended and put on a perfect wedding and reception. They were easy to work with, very responsive and really know their business! It was a perfect day at the perfect place!

As an attendee at my daughter's recent wedding at the Ranch. The weather was questionable, but all precautions had been anticipated,(We went from outdoors to under their canopy without a hitch. The catering, and service were very professional as well.My favorite part of the day,(Aside from dancing with my daughter), was the carriage ride. All in all, the Ellis Ranch made the day. The father of the bride,(Kelly Gorman), I am unable to answer the specific questions.

We just can't express how easy it was to do our daughter's destination wedding here. Living over 500 miles away, I have to admit I was worried. The minute we drove up to Ellis Ranch, we knew THIS was an amazing location. Shawn is very knowledgeable and professional. The level of satisfaction is well over 5.0 stars. They handled EVERYTHING we entrusted them to do, and it was exactly as they said it would happen. We would highly recommend them to each of you.

This Venue pays for it self when it comes to the views and staff. I am glad that I choosethis place, th staff works well with you and helps with ideas and planning if needed. Beautiful Colorado Front Range venue with magnificent views/scenery, yet very simple and peaceful! We are farmers/ranchers and this place gave us the Wedding of our dreams!

We had a great time at our wedding and really wouldn't have changed anything!
Only thing I would suggest is more pictures of the venue and an e-mail or online way of seeing colors of linens and that sort of thing because it is kind of far up in the mountains and we didn't live close to there so stopping by wasn't really an option.
Other than that everything was great!

Our suggestions to other couples are to ensure that you are honest and upfront about what you are looking for when speaking with Kim and Shawn. Don't feel like the entire venue needs to be decorated. We did not do many decorations except for on the tables and some signage and it turned out beautifully. We encourage a meet with there preferred vendors as we chose some of them and they did fantastic!!!

Having out wedding at Ellis Ranch was such a great decision! Shawn and Kim bent over backward to be sure our wedding was carefree, and it was. The staff is so helpful, which really made the day run amazingly smooth. I didn't have to worry about anything at all. It was a great feeling to know I could focus on the the emotions and excitement of the wedding. The best thing about it was that the site lended the romantic feel that I wanted for the wedding. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any event.

Wow...I just can't say enough about Ellis Ranch. My daughter and her new husband wanted a country setting and an outdoor wedding. After looking at several venues we found Ellis Ranch. We decided on the Carriage House and had approximately 100 people attend the wedding and reception. From the time that we signed the contract to the day of the wedding and everything in between we couldn't ask for better service, emails were promptly answered, specials were offered on services, questions and concerns were addressed and fairly dealt with.

Having a venue with a preferred vendor list is a great benefit. There were several choices for each vendor and heck if the vendors were not good or had problems, they would not be on the preferred list! We used Sarah Nichole Photographer. We are seeing some early releases of her work and the pictures are stunning. Sweetheart City Smokers were used for the food and wow that was some good BBQ...they served up a meal that was not your typical wedding meal, great food (try the cheesey potatoes). We also used Staged One Events for the DJ, Darrell was great to work with. Sean was our bartender an provided great service to our guests. Last but not least we used Campus West for the alcohol and beverages, Chris was great to work with and helped us through the process of how much alcohol to have for our size reception. It was nice to have them deliver and pick up, we had one less thing to worry about.

The weather was so beautiful, we had a few sprinkles during the wedding (good luck) and during dinner everything dried up and the dancing began.

Britney, Sam and their families will always have great memories of their wedding and reception. We want to thank Sean and Kim for providing a beautiful venue and great service for this very special day.

Ellis Ranch was a beautiful location and such an easy place to host a wedding. The facility was perfect for what my Son and his Bride were looking for. They were so helpful and caring. The rules easy to follow.
Only wish the bridal suite was bigger, but then again she had 8 bridesmaids.

WOW!! My husband and I recently got married at the Carriage House at Ellis Ranch. Our main goal for the weekend was to have a fun and stress-free weekend and the staff at Ellis Ranch helped make that possible! Their incredible list of vendors helped us choose amazing people who truly cared about making our day memorable. Shawn and Kim were always available for questions and there if we needed any suggestions. The setting is absolutely gorgeous and your guests will be blown away!

My daughter got married at Ellis Ranch in May 2014. From the first visit we knew that it was a good match. Driving up the location was beautiful. Shawn and Kim were so easy to talk to, knowledgeable, helpful and the venue was reasonably priced. They could accommodate our large wedding. If the weather was bad, we could move the wedding indoors with no problem. They had a list of suggested vendors which we could choose, or go with our own. We went with the DJ, caterer and cake vendors off their suggested list and had a great experience with all of them. When we were setting up both Shawn and Kim were available, walking around making sure everything was OK. Shawn was there all night in case we needed anything - which we didn’t because they had prepared us for everything and were experts in what they do. All of our guests had a great time and we received several comments on what a wonderful location and such a fun wedding. We feel like we got to know the owners personally and left feeling like they are our friends. I would recommend Ellis Ranch to anyone.

Shawn and the staff at Ellis Ranch helped to make our daughter’s wedding of her dreams come true. We had so many people say great things about this venue during the wedding and reception. We appreciated the fact that this incredibly beautiful wedding venue did not “break the bank” so to speak and that we were able to incorporate every detail that was important to us. We especially were grateful for the ability to host the wedding rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner there as well. Ellis Ranch was the perfect place for our wedding. Our guests loved the setting as much as we did. Shawn, Kim and their staff are wonderful to work with. We used some of their vendors, as well, and had no issues whatsoever. It was worth every penny to have such a beautiful setting for our special day. Shawn and Kim Ellis and the entire staff at Ellis Ranch are amazing people and a fantastic crew to work with! After I had problems with a previous vendor that didn't work out. Ellis Ranch took us in and made out Wedding the most amazing and fantastic day that I could have ever imagined. Shawn even let me do my final wedding walk through the day his wife went into labor (they were communication issues) Their venue fit my country wedding theme so perfectly. I have been to the Ranch several times. Weddings and Fundraisers - every time the Ellis' were very friendly, professional, and did what they said they were going to do. We were very blessed to have a fundraiser called ADORED out there. Anytime I needed something they were there to help direct and guide me! They were great at explaining the contract so that there were no surprises and thought they did a very thorough job through out the 9 months of working closely with them. I would rate Ellis Ranch in the top picks for Colorado! I have been to many wedding venues along the front range of Colorado to different friends & families weddings and hands down they go above & beyond, they truly are easy to work, very professional & its such a beautiful venue. Our daughter was married at Ellis Ranch on July 4, 2013. It was beautiful, perfect, and FUN due to Shawn and Kim Ellis whose knowledge and connections made the event a day to remember. We had two months to plan the wedding. With Kim and Shawn's help and guidance, there was not one glitch to the day. The Ellis's were able to give us recommendations for D.J.'s, food vendors, photographers, motels and more - eliminating guess work and time consuming searching.

The wedding was at the Carriage House. We were near capacity but had plenty of room. Kim and Shawn took care of the decorating and could not have been happier with the results! We have just received the photos from the photographer. The pictures capture not only our daughter's memorable day but the awesome venue Ellis Ranch offers. Thank you Shawn and Kim!

As my husband and I searched for places to have our wedding nothing stood out and it was hard to find a nice place that had something speical to offer on a budget! We came acrossed Ellis Ranch and from the minute we saw the carriage house and the event center we were both taken in aww!!! We loved having so many opitions and great staff to plan a fantastic country wedding that i have always dreamed of. The something special at Ellis is the horse carriage ride and trust me, it is priceless!!!!!! During our respection I had many guests come to me and say that they have never seen something so breathe taking and unique at a wedding and it was hard to hold back happy tears!! Ellis Ranch should be at the top of your list to consider for a wedding or any event! Its on my list for my 50th anniversary party!! ;)

Ellis Ranch Event and Wedding Center provided the perfect place for a romantic and intimate wedding and reception. They offer plenty of help for you to plan your wedding and reception and offer specials from their preferred vendors which helps to save some money (as we all know, weddings are not cheap). The host(s) were very helpful in making sure that the wedding day went smoothly and were very friendly. It was great to have such a huge and beautiful background to take photos in and the center was able to hold all our guests, plus some. There is a great bridal suite for both of their venues which makes the day less stressful since you can just have your hair and makeup people show up at the ranch and you don't have to be running around all day trying to get things done while hoping that your decorations and set up are done correctly. Shawn and staff ensured that the bride and groom didn't see each other while the pre-photos were being taken and during the pre-ceremony proceedings as well as ensured that during the day everything was going according to our expectations. I would recomment this place to anyone who is looking to have a romantic wedding in a great outdoor setting. The horse drawn carriage is just an extra added bonus and makes any girl feel like a princess on their big day.

I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day. The wedding was outdoors, about 75 degrees, the guests were in the shade, the venue was stunning with the surrounding mountains, everyone LOVED the carriage! The people were friendly and helpful. My wedding was at the Carriage House at Ellis Ranch. I worked with Shawn and he made my day run smoothly and effortlessly. He was flexible about scheduling appointments which was a big deal for me because I live in Phoenix, so I could only have my appointments when I was visiting. He was fun to work with and the day of he was exactly where he said he'd be and helped in any way that was needed. He ran the bar and made it an enjoyable night and I wish I could have my wedding there again! Ellis Ranch is a beautiful venue, especially when it starts to get dark and the lights over the deck come on.

One thing that really helped was the price and that many things were included. We decided to have our wedding on a Friday which made it cheaper and the DJ was included. The tables and chairs are included and they switched their linen company so it was a little pricier but they were floor-length and looked amazing. We had our wedding at the event center and it was beautiful! I checked around to many many other venues and Ellis Ranch was the obvious choice. The scenery is beautiful, it included many thing that you would normally have to rent which was a great savings, the people are so nice and willing to help you with anything and they are always available to. They were very accomodating when we want to bring family members there to show them the place before we got married. Overall, we def made the right choice and wouldn't have changed anything. This venue is remarkable for the value. both ceremony options are beautiful and Shawn and Kim really make it feel like part of your family it helping to plan the wedding. The Carriage House at The Ellis Ranch Wedding Park was the most beautiful and amazing venue I could of asked for. My fiance and I had been to 3 weddings together at there larger facility so it was destiny. When he asked me to marry him there was no questioning where we were gonna get married. When I had contacted Ellis Ranch we were the first to book out for the 2010 wedding season for the carriage house. I had almost 2 years to start planning. I had contacted Ellis Ranch several times in those two years and they were always so friendly, easy to talk to and eager to answer all my questions that I had. We would recommend Ellis Ranch Wedding Park to friends and family, even strangers. Our experience was incredible! We also received many compliments about the venue from our in state and many out of state guests.

Shawn was an absolute pleasure to work with EVERY step of the way. He's the reason we chose Ellis Ranch for the beginning of our marriage. Planning a wedding can be stressful and the Ellis Ranch staff made it easy for us, especially Shawn. When my family came to see the venue ahead of time, they left saying, "What a nice guy." I can't say enough good things about Ellis Ranch. They were phenomenal and I would recommend them to anyone!
The place was beautiful, they were so helpful and did all the little things to help make my day perfect. Plus they never got annoyed with me calling to ask questions being the nervous bride that I was!

We got a ton of compliments about the venue. I loved the fact that we were able to have some much flexibility with the other vendors we chose to use. A big plus was the fact that we could bring in our own alcohol, especially since my brother owns a brewery. I know this is changing, so I felt lucky that we were able to still take advantage of this.

Shawn and Kim Ellis were so kind and patient with questions, always full of ideas with what worked well for other weddings, beautiful suit required minimal decor. We used the carriage house side of the venue and would recommend to any friend!

The location of Ellis Ranch is beautiful! It was picture perfect. I came in on a horse and carriage and all my guests were in awe. I received tons of compliments on the location and how beautiful everything was. They were very flexable with my timeline and my guests.
All around I was very pleased with Ellis Ranch staff and most of their preferred vendors. They love what they do and it shows!

My wife and I just completed our wedding on September 23rd, 2011 at the Ellis Ranch and couldn't have been more happy. Shawn and Kim are fantastic to work with and helped to make our day run smoothly as possible. Even on the day of the event they coordinated the ceremony (along with the DJ) to make everything simply awe inspiring. Shawn also came up during the reception to make sure that everything was going all right.

A big piece of advice - choose your caterers, minister (if possible), photography, and floral from Shawn's preferred vendor list. Not only do these vendors do an amazing job, they know the venue and they know how to run an event there. Our Caterer (Michael's Plum), or Photographer (Kimbal Nelsen), and our Minister (Rev Kent) all did a fantastic job.

Perfect Wedding Venue!

Ellis Ranch was the perfect wedding venue! I have always wanted to have my wedding here, so it was like a dream come true! Shawn and Kim Ellis were great to work with and were very helpful. I could have asked for a better venue!!!

Ellis Ranch was absolutley perfect for our wedding day. We got married on the event center side of the venue. Shaun and Kim were very responsive to questions and concerns we had along the way. They were also extremely accommodating, making sure that our wedding was everything we hoped it would be. The rustic setting and beautiful landscape was amazing. We would highly reccomend Ellis Ranch to anyone considering them for their big day!

Great venue with beautiful views! We were taken care of and made sure that our day went off without a hitch! Shawn was very attentive to us and his parents were even more amazing and so supportive! Highly recommended!

I loved every minute of my wedding at Ellis Ranch. The staff was absolutely amazing and the venue itself is breath taking! They are so responsive and you have any concerns they are right on it. It rained on my wedding day but there was enough timing and planing they got my guests covered in no time at all. Everyone has told me that they loved that we picked to have our wedding there. The carriage that I entered in was definitely something that all of my guests will remember. I could not be any happier with having my wedding at Ellis Ranch!

I am new to this area of Colorado, so when we got engaged I was very nervous and discouraged about finding a beautiful venue for both our ceremony and reception. I wanted a venue that provided an intimate atmosphere that could support my rustic-romantic theme. We are on a strict budget and each time I had thought I found the venue of our dreams, I ended up so disappointed with the outrageous price, until I found ELLIS RANCH! We are able to hire our own DJ, caterer, photographer etc., we also got to choose from two of the available venues. Most places don't allow such flexibility. Kim and Sean are two of the most amazing people, they value their business and their family, which in turn shows that they are trust worthy, caring and passionate. Their unashamed love towards God was what I appreciated most, this may not be relevant to other individuals, but it truly hit home for me knowing that I was in the presence of a family who was strong in their faith. Because of the wonderful and beautiful venue found at Ellis Ranch, tears are brought to my eyes each time I envision our wedding day. All my dreams for our day will be possible because of Kim and Sean and their magnificent Ellis Ranch!

We loved everything about Ellis Ranch. From the bridal shows to the walkthroughs, they made me and my Husband feel like the most important clients. I am so glad that we went with Ellis Ranch for our wedding venue. Not only was the scenery gorgeous, but the owners were fantastic. One of the owners was our security guard for the evening and he made everything go flawlessly! We did not have to worry about anything because he was helping to make sure everything went smoothly. Also, the pictures from the ranch have turned out perfectly because of how gorgeous everything is there. Thank you Ellis for making our special day so memorable!!

Ellis Ranch made our wedding perfect! We didn't have to worry about a thing on our wedding day. Everything ran so smoothly and it is such a beautiful venue. Shawn was kind of abrupt at our walk-through and he made me stress a little with everything he was telling us at once. However, at our rehearsal dinner and our wedding day, Mike was the one who was there to help (Shawn and Kim were away that weekend) and he was great! He was so accomodating and relaxed I never thought that anything would go wrong. The only negative thing was that he kept coming up to me during the reception to ask questions. I wish he would have gone to my mom since she knew more of what was going on while I was talking to our guests. But I know he just wanted to make sure the bride was happy! We got married at the event center but we also had our rehearsal dinner at the carriage house. Which worked out so well because they offer great rehearsal dinner packages! I would recommend this place to anyone! You won't be disappointed!

Ok so my Neice got married at your Ranch Saturday. Holy crap! Wonderful job! I was an Executive Producer for many years and I am a stickler for details. The most beautiful wedding I have ever attended. Your staff and crew top notch going the extra mile. Roxie you have built a wonderful venue, staff with a extraordinary ability to make fairy tale weddings. Super job my hats off to you and your crew. My husband and I got married at Ellis Ranch this fall. Throughout the entire planning process, Shawn and Kim Ellis were very prompt in their communication and very accommodating. The facility was very clean and well prepared for our arrival on our wedding day. Our guests had wonderful things to say about the venue and even reported it was one of the best venues they have been to for a wedding. The highlights were the fall colors and perfect weather for our outdoor ceremony, the big dance floor, and the overall large size of the venue lending a spacious and rustic atmosphere. We would highly recommend this venue to any bride/groom.

Ellis Ranch is beautiful! We had our ceremony and reception at the Carriage House, it was our style and very homey and fun! The day was georgous and everything went so well! Shawn and Kim were easy to work with. The carriage ride is a must! Tim drove the carriage for us and he was so much fun. We had so many people in awe of it and said it brought tears.
