  My Dream Wedding Shoes

  Oh my gosh, the designers at Ellie Wren made my shoe vision come to life! I couldn't believe how gorgeous they turned out. They did them so quickly and for such a great price. I got so many compliments and I cannot say enough good things about them! Thank you for making my shoe dreams come true!

  If you are looking for something comfortable, fun, and unique for your wedding, I cannot recommend Ellie Wren enough! I got my wedding shoes from them, they were perfect. As someone who is obsessed with shoes, I had some high standards, but I also didn't want to spend thousands of dollars (like you might expect when you purchase a fancy brand like Jimmy Choo, or Manolo Blahnik for your wedding). I worked with a representative from the company to make sure my shoes looked just right, they provide a sketch and can send you fabric swatches too. They also have a service where you can try on the shoes before they make them, to make sure the size it right and you like how they fit. From there, you work with the actual designer. When the shoes were all done they sent me professional photos of the shoes which I loved showing off! Everyone loved my fancy footwear and I spent just over $300 total on a pair of $100 custom, original shoes that no on else in the world has! (they originally quoted me higher, and then worked to fit the design in my budget when it was more than expected). I danced, jumped and walked all night and didn't feel any pain or the feeling of wanting to rip my shoes off my feet, I was actually a bit sad to take them off. 6 out of 5 stars from me!

  I cannot say enough about my experience with Ellie Wren! I was married in August and I wanted blue wedding shoes. The perfect blue shoes were very important to me. I hit all of the department stores and tried on all of the usual suspects (Jimmy Cho, Manolo, Bagley Miishka), but I could not justify the price and nothing felt special as these were all shoes that anyone could buy. So I went on a hunt to have custom wedding shoes and that is when I stumbled upon Ellie Wren website It starts out with you selecting the type of shoe (wedge, pump, sling backs, ballet slippers, etc), colors, and embellishments with information about your special day. Then, you have a phone consultation with a designer. to understand the look and feel that you are looking to achieve. She sent me swatches to make sure that we choose the right shade of blue to go with my dress and I did the Sketch Program so that I had a picture before placing my order. Also, they have what is called the Perfect Fit Program, and send you the shoes to try to make sure it is just that. Throughout the design process, the designer emailed with me and at the end sent me professional shoes when the shoes were finished and I could not believe how beautiful they turned out. I felt like such a princess on my wedding day. I cannot thank Ellie Wren enough for making my dream wedding shoes!

  I wish I could give 6 stars for value because I got the perfect green shoes for my wedding from Design Your Pedestal for $100. I found them on Etsy (http://www.etsy.com/shop/DesignYourPedestal?ref=shop_sugg f) and would highly recommend them to brides looking for traditional or not so traditional shoes. I have tiny feet and usually wear a 5. They were a bit big but with a Dr. Scholl's on the ball of my feet they were perfect and I danced all night long in them. My husband does not take dancing lightly, either and my feet were up in the air and on the ground, and the shoes still felt heavenly. Complete strangers remarked how "perfect" the green shoes were. I even cut it a little close with ordering less than a month out but they assured me the shoes would be there in plenty of time and they were right. Love them! And plan to wear them again.

  It was important for me to have a comfortable wedding shoe, without sacrificing style. Ellie Wren delivered the most gorgeous shoes imaginable, custom made to match my non-traditional ice blue gown. Their design team worked with me every step of the way to create a perfect( for me )pair of shoes. Even though I had a bit of a bride moment when I received the shoes and thought the color was not what I wanted, Kate from Ellie Wren was very willing to make a color correction, I ultimately decided that the shoes were perfect as they were and cannot wait to wear them to my wedding in July!

  Great Custom Shoes

  Overall, I had a great experience ordering my shoes. Carey-Ann was very helpful with whatever questions I had. The process of ordering the shoes took a little while because it was just through email. It took a month from first inquiry to actually being ordered. I liked being able to try on the shoes first for fit and size. One downside, on the day of my wedding, a strand of rhinestones fell off on one shoe. A friend gave me glue but it turned the fabric black (not their fault). Just wish they wouldn’t have fallen off in the first place.

  This is such a rip off. Take the label off on the inside of the shoe where you would put your foot. There's another label under the label that's visible to the eye with the ACTUAL brand. If you look up the brand on the ORIGINAL label, the shoe is about $40.00 because these are not custom made shoes. So angry. Rip the label off if you don't believe me. FRAUD.

  I was excited about the custom wedding shoes I ordered from Ellie Wren. Although they were expensive (more than $800 US!), they sounded great. I paid the rush order fee of $50 to ensure they would arrive in time for my big day, but when they arrived they were falling apart. Because of the short time frame, we had to go with a different design than I had hoped, but even in the new design, the attachments were not fitted properly or simply falling off. For unrelated reasons related to our venue, we ended up having to postpone the wedding at the last minute (or else I would have had no shoes at all to wear). Kate asked me to send the shoes back and promised that she would send me a new design (closer to the original one that I liked) for consultation in January. It is now the middle of May and I have heard nothing from her or anyone else at the company. I have tried several times to reach them, but to no avail. With the rush fee, I spent more than $850US on these shoes and more importantly, my wedding is approaching quickly! I am not sure if the company has gone under or why they have suddenly decided they would not follow up or communicate. If I could, I would have given them 0 stars, but the system requires at least a half star.
