Let me first start bu saying thank you again to Elle for officiating my wedding in a storm. My husband and I were married in Quiet Waters Park Annapolis, MD on 09/23/2023. From the start of the process to the end, Elle was very professional. Any questions I had she was always quick to respond and answer. Prior to our ceremony she spoke with myself and my then fiancée in which she prepared our ceremony. After watching my wedding video I love how she incorporated the little details into our ceremony and also including bible scriptures which was important to us. The day of the wedding I was so nervous because it rained (literal tropical storm) and we were married outside. Elle braved the storm with myself, husband and our guest and I couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you so much Elle for making our day a special one.Elle Is For Love, LLC's reply:

She was very engaging with us. She took the time to falk with us to find out a little about us. We wanted a very short wedding and not drawn and she honored that. She was on time and wedding went as planned. -

Erren really set the stage for our ceremony! The weather ended up holding off during our nuptials, but I was so appreciative of Erren ability and willingness to adapt if necessary. She told our story so beautifully and also included some humor to break the tension and make it feel more organic. She executed exactly what we wanted and remained professional throughout the entire process. I would recommend Elle Is Love to anyone looking for an officiant with the right balance of personality and professionalism!! -

Professional and Personal
Erren was a wonderful officiant for our in home ceremony! She took the time to get to know us and our story, talked thru the ceremony with us allowing us to create our own experience, and was patient with us as we prepared on the day of. Erren is absolutely amazing. We didn't want a long-drawn-out ceremony. We wanted it to be meaningful with my most of the talking done by us with our vows. She was on board and delivered! We were able to get through the legal stuff and onto the fun stuff aka starting our life as a union. I could not have picked someone better to share this day with us. Beautiful Wedding Ceremony
Erren was amazing to work with! With COVID, our destination wedding was cancelled and we were left with little options. Despite this, she still made our day a very special one.Elle Is For Love, LLC's reply:

Our wedding was in July 2022 and we hired Elle to officiate. She is fairly responsive and did an amazing job as the officiant on the day of the wedding. Her words on marriage and use of the bible was beautiful. My only concern and issue was her level of professionalism or lack thereof as shared by my husband and other witnesses in attendance. We unfortunately were running behind schedule and rather than pulling my husband aside for a private conversation for the additional payment due to us being late I learned Elle was very vocal in the open space about being paid right then and there. I was very disappointed. We paid her in full and could certainly pay for the additional 1 to 1.5 hours we were late. A private conversation would have been more appropriate especially given the occasion. I am very grateful she was flexible to stay later to accomodate us but it could have been done differently.

It was an honor to be a part of your special day and I thank you for the opportunity to experience some of the beautiful traditions of your country. I also enjoyed chatting with your family and working alongside your Wedding Coordinator to assist her in completing the set-up for the ceremony while we waited.
With the wedding running an hour and a half behind and in my effort to always operate in transparency, I did have a "courageous conversation" with your Groom, so that he was aware of where we were in regard to our agreement at that time. I believe it was done in a tasteful, kind, personal and caring manner while you were still doing your dress change and we were looking for your family members. I do not believe in surprising couples, because I would not like that done to me. I believe what you put out will come back to you.
As a courtesy, I did not charge the entire late fee, simply because I did not want to put more stress on your special day, however in respect for my time and in fairness to all of my clients, I did have to follow the terms of the agreement.
