Brought My Vision to Life
My dream was to have a bespoke wedding dress.I’ve followed Ellaz Bridal for a few years and knew I had to go with them. They took my vision and brought it to life! A Dream Wedding Come True ❤️
I entered Ellaz Bridal back in January 2024 for the very first tim, with my 2 daughters, in hopes that I would find my dream wedding gown.I was given a very warm welcoming experience by 2 very lovely ladies.Ms.Mary, and her co- worker. They were very professional and knowledgeable in my decision, and purchase. I had several options, anf syyles of gowns to choose from.The second gown that I tried on was called Emery 2:1, I said Yes to. That gown was definitely giving Queen vibes. The atmosphere ,and the music playing was so very calming and relaxing,that it made my decision making so much easier. Thank you for an Awesome Experience! My gown was absolutely Amazing! -

Hidden Treasure
My fiancé found Ellaz Bridal by accident while we were running errands. He noticed the beautiful array of dresses in the storefront window. They had recently moved to the area and their signage wasn't put on the building yet. During the entire process from the initial fitting to the last trying on of my dress, Ms. Mary and her amazing staff were very accommodating and patient in fulfilling alteration requests. I appreciate them all for making the entire experience easy, fun, and one less thing I had to stress about...what a blessing! -

Mary's team is PHENOMENAL!!!
Working with her was a match made in heaven. I'm one of those brides that have been dreaming of her wedding day for years and when the chance finally came, I had Ellaz Bridal by my side.
I first found them on Instagram and fell in love with one of their dresses that was very similar to a dress on my dream board. Yes, I had a whole scrapbook with me at my appointment 😂
Upon arriving to my appointment I got to try on 3 dresses. I ended up trying on the blush version of the dress I had in mind along with 2 others. I didn't realize it then, that I found my dress color. I was too excited in the moment to finally try on wedding dresses.
After not really having that 'bridal moment' I asked if I could try on a red dress on a mannikin. Unfortunately, it wasn't my size, but I was absolutely in love with that dress.
My mom and I asked to speak to Mary about the red dress and making it the blush color of the first dress. Mary took some time to think about it because she never considered that combination before. Needless to say she said YES!!! It was an immediate yes from me to accept the dress as discussed and continue planning my wedding. I ended up ordering a reception dress as well. When you see the dress you'll understand why. It's a whole moment by itself 💜
Mind you, I ordered my dresses almost a year in advance. So for a whole year, I was in anticipation for the final product. I never saw it visually until my fitting appointment. Y'all!!! I swear I started tearing up. They were absolutely beautiful 😍
One thing I loved about her team was they were so patient and kind. My mom ended up ordering a dress the day of my fitting and made it within the limited time remaining until my wedding.
They also made the veil that matched the dress. I will always recommend Ellaz Bridal for wedding dresses, mother of the bride dresses, and evening gown wear. They are very professional and deserve your business. You will not be disappointed.

I must first recognize all the amazing staff at Ellaz Bridal. Everyone was so welcoming and professional and went above and beyond for me in order to make sure my gown was perfect. I live over 4 hours from the boutique, but the travel was well worth it!! I had already purchased another gown, but after I followed this boutique on social media and seen their designs, I knew I had to have Ellaz Bridal make my gown instead. I even was able to give the designer a robe and garter idea and she came through with amazing pieces on top of my wedding gown. As a bride I knew I wanted to look amazing and have a very long train. The designer was able to take my vision and make it a reality. By far the most beautiful gown ever. It was classic design, yet it still was over the top. The details of the lace on my gown and vail were flawless. I felt so amazing and every jaw dropped when I walked in the sanctuary for the ceremony. I definitely recommend Ellaz Bridal for weddings and any formal occasion. -

Easiest Decision Ever
So let me start off by saying, I am the most indecisive human on earth! During my fitting, I was treated with so much respect and all attention was on me. When I was uncertain or was overwhelmed, Mary and her team made sure I was heard and understood. My decided design was a mash up of 2 or 3 gowns. After about a month within the process, I reached out and and expressed my concerns of the dress not being what I wanted. Mary took even more time out of her day to go over my design again and even added to it to make it even more beautiful. She understood that I needed that time alone to get my mind right lol. Mary created my gown perfectly! I will definitely be back for any other custom gown I may need.
Next, the shop! OMG! Beautiful! When you walk in, it is huuuuge and filled with beauty. The furniture, the gowns, the jewelry are just stunning. And don't get me started on the champagne they give you! I went out and bought several bottles haha. Overall the customer service was exceptional. I mean I received personalized text, pictures of updates of my dress and the payment process was so simple.
If you are stuck on a decision between another shop and Ellaz Bridal, just stop looking and head on over to Ellaz! Let Mary and her team get you right! -

Best Bridal Gown experience Ever!!!
My dress was CUSTOM MADE by Ellaz Bridal in Norfolk, Virginia… Mary is the owner and she made my dress with LOVE… One thing about Mary is that she LISTENS and does whatever she can do to create the wedding dress of your dreams… When my Poppy passed away in March she knew how devastated I was that he could no longer walk me down the aisle on my big day… So she remembered that I said blue was his favorite color so when I arrived at my final dress fitting there was my dress and inside was a hand embroidered blue heart to represent my Poppy being with me on my wedding… I say all of this to say Mary is a dress making Angel and if you need a wedding dress make her your first choice… You WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! -

Ms. Mary was very engaging and stayed professional the entire time. I had a vision and she help bring it to life. I named my custom dress Royalty!! A Royal Fairytale was the theme of our wedding. Y’all Ms. Mary is absolutely the bomb 💣. I came to her with an idea and she helped me make it better. The way how she put my dress together was amazing even during a time where it was personally difficult for her. I originally ordered a wedding dress from Etsy that was supposed to be coming from Australia, but at the last minute they informed me that my dress was lost in the mail due to COVID. I frantically started searching for another dress, only to find a dress that looked almost exactly the same from Ellaz Bridal! I messaged them and Mary got back to me almost immediately. I explained my situation and she told me she would be able to custom make the same dress in time for my wedding. And I was even able to customize the exact color of the dress! She sent me pictures of the dress along the way to check that everything was exactly the way I wanted it to be. When I got the dress in the mail, it was absolutely perfect and fit like a glove! I had a specific dress I wanted and I kept getting dead ends every time I thought I was on to finding it! I prayed real hard and said God, please give me a clue if I need to move on from finding this particular dress. Two hours later I google searched plus size wedding dresses with different key words. Then Ellaz Bridal popped up. I looked to see where the shop was located since I'm in Va Beach. I was shocked to see it is located in Norfolk, which is our neighboring city. I called her and I gave her the model of the dress and asked if it was available. She said I'm sorry but the dress was discontinued in 2016. My heart was so set on this dress! I am a plus size bride and every where I looked for a similar dress. She then said she could make it for me. I was in disbelief! I met with her and it was our god sent! I saw the detail of the dresses hanging up and couldn't believe my eyes! She said she makes every one of her dresses. She said she had made the dress I wanted three times already for other brides and she already has the pattern!!! So I put my full faith in her and ordered the dress to be made. Oh my goodness! After 3 fittings I got to try my dress on!!! I felt like a pure Princess!!! The dress fit like a glove and it was even better than I had hoped for it to be! The dress was so elegant, gorgeous beading detail with a starfish design perfect for my Aruba Beach Wedding!!! She exceeded my expectations and then some! I will always go to her for any event dresses in the future and very highly recommend ELLAZ Bridal!!! Thank you for making my dream dress come true!!! -

After David's Bridal told me my dress wasn't going to be back in time for my big day, I immediately went online Ellaz Bridal popped up and I didn't hesitate to give Mary a call... she guaranteed me that she would have my dress done in time for my big day which was Oct 12,2019 and I was done a week early!!! Where do I start? I found her page while searching for someone to custom make my dream dress. I contacted her and she responded right away. Dress came true
I found Ellaz Bridal just surfing Instagram for a place that I could make my dream dress happen. When I emailed them to figure out if it was even possible Mary knew exactly what kind of dress it plus the fabric it was made of. I decided to chance it from Utah & had it made all the way in Virginia. With Covid-19 the wedding date fluctuated & I still got it on time. I received updates when they started it to the end. If there was something I noticed or didn’t like it was fixed. It could not have been better, it fitted me perfectly & it exceeded my expectations. The fabric wow 🤩 the dress wow wow wow 🤩 🤩🤩 Long story short I got my dream dress!! -

Heading to Norfolk (2.5 hrs away) seemed so scary originally but walking into the shop, gazing at the most beautiful gowns in the world, I quickly became comfortable. The staff was great and truly listen out for your vision. Here are my tips: write down everything you want in a dress. They will deliver all your needs but you have to remember to mention it. The dresses are custom. Once you have ordered, don’t worry (like I did), you are in great hands. Ms. Mary was a dream. They text you information and photos and accept Apple Pay, venmo, cash app, credit cards, etc ! I provided an inspo pic for the dress style and sleeves I wanted but my dress was everything I could have ever dreamed of. Better than I could have imaged. Built in bra, built in corset, made to your exact measurements. If I ever can find another excuse to get a custom dress made with the intentions of being Beyoncé for the day, I will drive back to Ellaz. Mrs Mary is the owner when I say me and my nine bridesmaids flew out to her shop it was the best experience Ever Hands down such an up spiritual person to meet her and her team when I say my dress was absolutely beautiful perfect amazing she and her team did a beautiful job as well on my bridesmaids dresses as well the atmosphere was very comfortable Mrs Mary and her team was the best and black own thanks thanks thanks she made my wedding day a dream with my costume made dress -

Dress that wasn’t done properly
I ordered the dress on the left from Ellazbridal. Since it is black owned, I decided to support her. I was quoted $500 for the dress & she was given a year to complete it. We picked up the dress & the one on the right is what she gave me. She did not compensate or give $ off. Mind you I traveled from Queens to Virginia. When I told her that it wasn’t what I ordered, she threatened to call the cops. -
