  Look no further for a wedding photographer! Book Carissa, it will be the best decision you made for your big day. I do not have a single negative thing to say about my experience with her. She went so above and beyond on our wedding that my husband and I couldn't stop talking about it the next day. Carissa, thank you for helping to make our day absolutely perfect and capturing those perfect moments.

  An Incredible Photographer and Artist

  Our experience with Ella Grace Photography was absolutely phenomenal. Carissa was very well prepared and moved us through the planned photographs capturing everything that we had discussed and so much more. She went above and beyond to get some of the most amazing wedding photographs I have ever seen, at one point literally wading in the water to get the perfect angle for our lakefront shots at the dock.
  
  I cannot say enough to recommend this service to anyone that wants to ensure they have photographic record of their special day. Carissa is an artist and a master at what she does. She has a wonderful personality and sense of humor that makes all the time spent together such a privilege to experience.

  Absolutely Incredible!

  Choosing Carissa as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made! Carissa was extremely flexible and made sure that our needs were taken care of. Prior to the wedding, she was always quick to respond to emails and offer any advice or suggestions she had. On the wedding day, she arrived early and while she was photographing helped out in any way she could. For the posed portraits she was efficient and organized. She made sure to get all of the pictures we wanted. Carissa knew exactly when to give direction and when to capture the moments as they happened. Throughout the day she took on many roles including child entertainer, dress fixer, and anything else we needed! Both of our families commented on what a nice job she did during our wedding and said they would recommend her to anyone. Carissa was positive, enthusiastic, attentive, and friendly. I cannot recommend her enough!

  FIVE STAR- Wedding Review

  Choosing Ella Grace Photography was absolutely the best decision we could have made for our wedding day. Carissa handled her self with such professionalism and grace throughout the entire planning of our wedding and even more on our wedding day. She did absolutely everything we could have imagined our photographer to do. Our wedding was the best day of our lives and she captured each moment perfectly. On a day when emotions and nerves are both high, she was able to ensure that we were able to capture each moment that we wanted and needed. We were able to get the first look photo we had always imagined, photos with our family, bridal parties, friends, and reception! Our photos have come out absolutely fabulous and we are beyond thrilled each time we are able to relive that amazing day through her work. Even with a rainy day, with a ceremony that was moved inside, we were able to get all of the beautiful photos we had always imagined and hoped for. Carissa was always professional and positive when family continued to ask for photos throughout the night- she made it CLEAR that she was there to serve the bride and groom and capture as many fantastic moments as possible. We are SO THANKFUL that we were able to have her as our photographer for our wedding day and would HIGHLY recommend her to ANY of our friends!

  My fiancé and I had our engagement shoot just a few weeks ago and it was such a great experience. We were nervous about being in front of the camera, but as soon we got there we immediately felt comfortable. She did a great job of catching us in our most candid moments :)

  So lovely!

  Working with Ella Grace Photography was the best possible thing I could have done! I got married at a golf course that kept the course open and Carissa worked tirelessly to remove every golfer from my photos. She has such an eye for detail. The photos are beautiful and I can't even decide which ones are my favorites. All of them are THAT good!

  I wish I could give 10 stars. I first met Carissa when she was shooting a friend of mine's wedding. She had this enthusiasm that permeated through the wedding. She looked for new shots, beautiful on the spot locations. Her photos were tremendous. I knew when I got engaged at the end of 2016, she was the person I had to have. I booked my venue and then she was my second call. The day before the wedding, she set up a phone call with me to go over all the pictures that I wanted. She pointed out flaws in my logic and suggested some solutions that would make the day run smoother. I was in awe! She was thinking of things that I had not even once considered. She let me know that the day of the wedding she would be an hour early. An hour early?! She was the best. She really was right there. She scoped out everything. We had some difficult ringbearers and a unhappy flower girl. Carissa had brought supplies to entice them into smiling! She had bandaids which were their all time favorites that day. Her sneak peak photo was given to me within 12 hours tops and was beautiful. It was a SUPER hot day and you could not tell that I was sweating in these photos. I am telling you right now, there is no better photographer for any event you may. Always, always, book Carissa.

  Carissa was amazing! Ella Grace Photography was amazing! She was very responsive, totally reasonable and really cares about her clients. She took the time to get to know what I envisioned, even helped me find different visions, and also allowed me to send her samples of what I'd like. She was always on time, and always found the best way to get the photos. Not only did she listen to our visions, she also ensured that we got pictures of those whom we wanted in a timely manor. It was great to work with her on these, and if we ever need more photography done, we will for sure use her. I can't recommend her enough, so if you're looking for someone, she is great and her prices are VERY reasonable.

  If you can book Carissa, do it. She is one of the most talented and creative photographers I have come across. First, you don’t even know she is there, yet she was busy capturing the most beautiful moments of a special day. We rented a trolley for the entire bridal party and had made prior arrangements to gain access to Deer Island which would have provided a gorgeous backdrop of harbor and city views; but once we arrived, it began to rain. My daughter was so disappointed, but Carissa remained optimistic as she monitored the weather radar on her phone. When the weather didn’t improve, instead of giving up and suggesting we take photos indoors at the reception hall, Carissa jumped into action and took some of the most unique photos of the bride and groom and bridal party while we were riding in the trolley. The wooden paneling and windows made it seem like we were in an English pub. My daughter and her husband wanted to have a picture taken outside their favorite restaurant (also the site of their engagement), but it started to pour. Carissa jumped off the trolley (and got soaked herself) and took a picture of them at the back of the trolley with the restaurant’s sign in the background!! It was perfect. At the reception hall, I forgot she was even there, yet she was taking photo after photo and the results are amazing. Just before leaving, Carissa found me and asked if I wanted some photos with my friends. She had heard that some lifelong friends were guests at the wedding. Being so busy greeting guests and dancing, I didn’t even think of this, but Carissa did, and I am so grateful for that. She worked so well with our other vendors that the entire day went by without a single hiccup (other than the rain which Carissa handled for us). We are so grateful to Carissa for all that she did to make my daughter’s day perfect.

  I met Carissa three years ago when she served as the photographer for a friend's wedding. It was such a pleasure interacting with her during that time and my friends (and I) both loved the photos she shot for their wedding. Upon my engagement, I knew that we should hire Carissa for our special day (and the events leading up to it!) Carissa shot our engagement photos which we were initially very skeptical about. She made us feel calm and comfortable during what can feel like an 'awkward time'. Her sense of humor made everything more relaxed and enjoyable for us and we were pleased with the way our photos came out! In planning our wedding day, Carissa was rapidly responsive and easy to work with. She listened to all of our concerns and answered many questions. She is incredibly organized and beyond reasonable price-wise. Carissa's second shooter, Caitlyn, was also wonderful! Energetic, creative, and professional. Carissa was on-time (AKA, 40 minutes early!) for our big day and showed up with a big smile on our face. She took the lead in organizing all the photos we wanted which was incredibly difficult with both of our large and bossy families. It was such a joy working with Carissa during this exciting time in our lives. You won't be disappointed.

  Carissa was amazing! She is the best of the best. In addition to absolutely incredible photos, she was so easy to work with and kept everyone smiling and happy.   We couldn't be any happier with Ella Grace Photography for so many reasons!
  1. Carissa is SO organized! I talked to several photographers but she was by far the most organized and experienced. You also tell her ahead of time anything you definitely want her to capture, which leaves you feeling confident she will capture your full experience in exactly the way you dreamed!
  2. Carissa works incredibly hard to get a clear and comprehensive idea of who you are and your personal style, as well as what you want from your wedding photography. She talked to me for a significant amount of time to get an idea of what feel I wanted my photos to have, and what I wanted from them, and then helped me refine my ideas and put them into words. We ended up deciding on a romantic, soft look and that is exactly how my pictures ended up!
  3. When looking for my photographer, my number one priority was capturing the emotions of the day and the way we felt, and capturing the most important and meaningful moments in a way that would convey the emotions of the moment. I could try to explain how perfectly she did that, but I'll just say this - check out her website, her photo gallery speaks for itself. I cried several times looking through the photos because I am just so happy that all of our special moments are captured forever in beautiful photographs that exude the emotions and meanings of the moments they depict.
  4. On the wedding day, Carissa is efficient but kind and patient, organized, confidence-inspiring, and fun. You will genuinely enjoy taking pictures with her as her joy and kindness make taking pictures yet another wonderful part of your wedding day.

  Carissa was amazing throughout the whole wedding process and answered any question I had. From our engagement photos to our wedding photos she was spot on and got all the pictures I wanted and more! She is very professional, awesome and everything else! Highly recommended and well, simply the best!!!!

She met us and our wedding coordinator at the venue two weeks before the wedding, walking through some photo spots and logistics -- even asking which direction the sun would be setting to plan some sunset photos. When we wanted to add a second photographer last-minute, she didn't bat an eye, and arranged for her colleague to come with. The day of, the two of them were perfect: Professional, good-spirited, helpful, and everywhere we wanted them to be, at the right time. Carissa turned the photos around within two weeks and they look fantastic. We talked with a few photographers, but we are so happy that we went with her - we can't imagine using anyone else! And she really does keep her prices down, understanding how expensive weddings can be. We would recommend her to anyone.

  Carissa was amazing! Very attentative, responsive, personable and friendly. She makes sure you get exactly what you are looking for and adds her own genious to the photos. We plan to work with her again in the future. We highly recommend her for photography!!
