I rarely put perfect scores for anything but I just had to for Elizabeth and her amazing skills as a photographer! I can't stop looking at the pictures! ?? I told Sam there were only 2 things I cared about for my wedding: 1. Fantastic photographer 2. A great honeymoon- everything else wasn't that important. I was nervous finding a photographer, especially someone who I wouldn't have a chance to work with before the big day because I was getting married across the USA from where I live. After speaking with her on the phone, she put my fears to rest and lucky for me, Liz was incredible and an absolute DREAM to work with! Liz captured so many priceless moments that I never want to forget...like this one of Sam when he saw me for the first time. ?? So, if you're ever looking for a photographer in UT, look her up. Liz took our family pictures as well as a couple individual sessions for my wife. We could not be more happy with her professionalism and amazing talent. Liz was the perfect artist for our pictures. She has an uncanny ability to see things we would have missed. She came up with settings and poses that were artistic and tasteful. Her pictures will definitely stand the test of time, something we will cherish throughout our lifetime. Liz is incredible. She has such an artistic eye that is incomparable to any other photographer I've seen. She made me feel comfortable being in front of the camera and was willing to help us come up with new ideas for our different shoots. Liz cannot be passed up. Anytime I pull out my wedding album, people tell me that they are the best wedding photos they've ever seen. I'm so happy that I chose her as my wedding photographer!!

I LOVED working with Liz! She is so talented and easy to work with. All of our pictures turned out AMAZING. I get really worried about pictures that my hair will look messy or that I could be making a weird face and not realize it, but I trust Liz completely because she was always looking out for us and understands how important wedding and engagement pictures are to the couple. She was really good at listening to what kind of pictures we had in mind and did an amazing job helping us choose some locations. My husband had never had professional pictures taken so I was a little worried (haha) but LIz coached him through it and helped capture our love :) I would recommend Liz to anyone, paying for a good photographer can seem intimidating but I PROMISE it is worth paying money for someone you can trust and who will get you pictures you will love and use for the rest of your life.

Liz is amazing!!! She was there every step of the way, capturing very moment of our special day with grace, beauty and love. We live in Seattle and had our wedding at Snowbird Ski Resort in Utah. Liz is a local photographer that we found through preferred vendor lists from some of the venues we were considering. Liz was very accommodating to our schedule. She made herself available to us when we were in Utah. Liz was very professional, on time and very calming. My husband and I are very comfortable being the center of attention or being photographed. Liz made it comfortable for both of us to be in front of the camera. It felt natural not too artificial. She took some amazing shots of not only the wedding ceremony, wedding party, reception and guests, but also the venue and surrounding area. This gives us a fuller memory of that AMAZING day.

We absolutely loved working with Liz as our wedding photographer. She communicated with us from beginning to end. We love how Liz captured everything through out our entire wedding and reception from decor to even personalities of all of our wedding party, family and guest. We had a hard time picking out our favorites to put into our album because we loved all the photos she took. In the end, our wedding album looks like a fairy tale wedding and we love showing it off. We receive compliments ALL the time on our photos. We even have other family members wishing they had used Liz for their wedding(s) and they/we wouldn't recommend anyone else but Liz!

Liz is an incredible photographer. Not only does she have an eye for beauty that some lucky people (like her) are clearly just born with, she's also really easy to work with and once you meet her you feel like you've been friends for a long time. I research everything and looking for the right photographer for me was no different. In fact, it was the most important thing I did for my wedding. I spent months on the internet, talked to many people, went to wedding/bridal showcases, looked at magazines, and I can honestly say that once I found Liz I knew I needed to look no further. She just doesn't compare to other photographers. But the best part about her is she's not just a talented photographer, although I think she's one of the very best in the world, it's that she's just an amazing human being and someone you won't ever regret making a part of your special day. It's been almost 6 years since my wedding and I am just as in love with my wedding photos as I was then, if not more so. They are an absolute treasure and I am SO SO glad I found Liz because she is worth every single penny and I would hire her again in a second if my wedding was tomorrow. I am so glad we found Liz to do our wedding photography! She did our engagement photos (in the snow!) and our wedding. She was on time, very professional and very knowledgeable. I absolutely love the photos and will cherish them for the rest of my life. I was also very impressed with how her assistant helped get the attention of our dogs so that they would be looking at the camera for the photos as well. She had great ideas for shots/poses and interesting backgrounds. I will certainly use Liz again if I ever need photography!

One thing I love about working with Liz is that her quality of work exceeds all expectations. If you look at her professional competition print portfolio she submits yearly to be judged you will see it is full of CLIENTS! That's how good she is. I personally had one of my wedding photos chosen for her portfolio and can attest that she can create amazing, timeless photos in the smallest moments on your special day. She understands light, depth, mood, tone, and what angles work best for her clients. I am self conscious about my chin and she made sure to always shoot me in a way I loved and I felt so beautiful when I saw myself in the photos she took. She is easy to work with and a joy to be around, which is great because you will be spending a good amount of time with her. She knows how to get those stubborn grooms to smile, laugh, tease, and even strike a gorgeous serious face. When working with brides she knows how to get them to relax and feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. She is also great at coaching you on how to move your body to highlight your physical assets and minimize any insecurities you might have.
Liz is great on the day of the shoot and she continues to be great after the big day is over. She works quickly. She produced my own wedding album in a matter of hours. That's because her work is so amazing straight out of the camera. She doesn't waste time editing because she doesn't need to. I purchased a wedding album that highlighted the many shoots I had. It's something I will cherish forever and something I am proud to show family and friends. I can't wait for my grandchildren to look through it and be so amazed by how beautiful their grandparents used to be! Liz had a great eye for design. She can tailor anything to your liking, but if you stand back and let her do her own thing it will better than you could ever imagine. She creates timeless designs that are simple yet elegant and completely sophisticated. You will love her!

We hired Elizabeth Frandsen as our photographer for our wedding, and I could not be happier! The package we bought included an engagement session, a bridal session, and the wedding. Starting from when we first contacted her, she was very quick to get back to me anytime I had a question or needed to coordinate anything.
Liz was so helpful in helping us pick out a location for our engagement session, since we weren't very familiar with the area. Neither my husband nor I had ever met her before the engagement session, but within minutes it felt like we were hanging out with a close friend. This made it so much easier and more comfortable to pose for pictures and look natural. She also worked so fast to edit the pictures and send us a preview from the session. For the bridal session, I hadn't slept at all the night before and was so exhausted, but she was able to take such beautiful pictures where you couldn't even tell how tired I was. She even had me pose for some sleeping, which are some of my favorite pictures from the whole session! On our wedding day, Liz was so professional and took such care to make sure she captured every moment without disrupting the flow of the wedding to do so.
As for the pictures, they are BEAUTIFUL! Liz is seriously so talented! She got the lighting perfect on every picture. They turned out so stunning and unique! I will absolutely treasure those pictures for the rest of my life! I can't say enough good things about our experience with Liz as our photographer. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Liz was the MOST FABULOUS wedding photographer I could ever imagine. She is not only a gifted artist who can take any individual and make them look beautiful, whimsical, and timeless on their wedding day, but she is also an incredibly genuine, kind, hard-working individual. She was worth every penny. I even wish I had invested more in her talents and purchased one of her wedding albums, and done all of my sessions including engagements, with her. I used a different photographer for engagements and I am sorry now! She provides ALL the digital images "Straight-out-of-camera" (meaning no editing--trust me, none is necessary!) and then edits about 100 of her favorites--and like I said, editing isn't necessary with her incredible talent, but it just takes it that much more over the top! My engagement photographer did not provide all the digital images for our session, and he edited all of them with weird dark overlays that made printing a photo for our invitations a nightmare. Liz's photos are natural and timeless. And--to top off the artistry, professionalism, and kindness she ALWAYS displays--she had my photos edited and in-hand within a couple weeks of my wedding! I was SHOCKED how fast she was. When my sisters got married they didn't see photos for 8 weeks (one of them) and 6 months (the second). Liz is a true professional, and I would work with her again in a heartbeat. She is definitely the person that I would entrust to take photos of the most important day of my life. If I had to do it again, I would definitely choose her again (I'd probably even change my wedding date to work with her). Thanks for everything Liz!!

Liz was completely indispensable to my wedding. I actually won my wedding and a photographer was included so we had our engagements done with them and I was very disappointed with how they turned out (haven't printed a single one). We decided to switch to Liz for our bridals and wedding day coverage and I was extremely overjoyed with how they turned out, I've treasured them ever since I got married. They were so good they were even featured in a magazine! Liz always made me feel very comfortable and was amazing at posing. I am convinced she can make anyone look like the most beautiful girl in the world. She is so sweet and easy to work with I would 100 percent refer her to any bride look for flawless high quality beautiful images for her wedding. I still wish we had her re-do our engagements! Liz is phenomenal! When I was planning my wedding, it wasn't even a question which photographer I would use because I've always admired her work. She works fast, efficient, and she is so fun! My husband and I felt completely comfortable and confident with her as our photographer. Something I love about her is her willingness to listen and give you what you want. Hiring Liz was the absolute best decision we made about our wedding. She was so professional and most importantly she is honest and up front, what you see is what you get. When we talked to other photographers about their packages there were so many hidden fees to get pictures edited, printed, etc. she actually was a great deal and all of that is included in her pricing. She was so excited about our photos she got them to us within a week! I found ice castles in town and asked her if we could shoot there. She was so supportive, we were shooting around other guests there and the pictures were still phenomenal. Our photos ended up on blogs, the front page of a photography magazine, and Liz got the highest awards in international competitions with our wedding photos! Everyone raves about them and we have them hanging all over our house. I promise you will not regret hiring her, she made our day so special and so fun to re-libe every day.

I am really not exaggerating when I give Liz a five star in all areas. Our best decision was picking her as our photographer when planning our wedding. We have beautiful photos to remember our special day hung all over our home. She was creative, very personal, and spent far much more time with us than any photographer would. And to top it all off, she was 9+ months pregnant the day of my wedding and it didn't stop her from spending hours and hours with us. I really cannot even begin to say enough nice things about Liz.
But here are the highlights:
My husband and I were on a tight budget for our wedding but we agreed the photographer was the one thing we wanted to spend our money on. Liz was more than accommodating, while still making sure that we got everything that we wanted at a fair price. I went back and forth with Liz over email several times before we met in person to discuss all the details. Immediately after we had our meeting, we knew that Liz was exactly what we wanted. We loved her work and she just instantly made us feel comfortable with her.
We got married in the morning and wanted to do a first reveal session before the 11:00 ceremony. Liz was not at all hesitant to drive to an hour to meet us at 8:00am. All our guests commented that she was so kind to them, and she made the effort to learn the names of our immediate family members which made everyone feel good.
Our main focus was to have candid shots of the day while still capturing some nice photos of us on our big day. Liz more than delivered photos that captured the day just like I remember it. I am thrilled to have the photos of our day and would not hesitate at all to recommend Liz!

One of the first things I did as soon as I got engaged was email Liz to book her. I would have moved my wedding date if she had not been available. I did not live in the same state as she did, we flew her in for the wedding (and traveled to her for our engagements because we happened to be close by a few months before the wedding). It was worth it. Liz had photographed me once before, and I can tell you: Her work on every shoot is exactly as good as her work on her website. I knew that she would deliver exactly what I expected because she has the skills and professionalism to walk into a situation and create art wherever she is. Not everyone can do this. She can and does, every time. I photograph professionally myself and can attest to her ability and integrity. Two things that set Liz apart is that first, she wants you to enjoy your day and does everything she can to make you have fun, and second, she pays close attention to how you look. This might sound strange but I have been photographed by enough professionals to know that some photographers go for the art of the image and don't pay as close of attention to how you actually look - do you have a double chin, does the pose look stilted, do you have a strange expression, does it not capture your "good side"? I didn't feel self conscious about sharing any of my wedding images because my husband and I looked good in all of them. She knows how to find your best looks without making you feel overly posed. You simply can't put a price tag on that skill. I would not hesitate to hire Liz and I consider her art an integral part of my wedding experience, and people always gasp when they look through the leather album she produced that sits proudly on my shelf. I am still enjoying her work nearly seven years later and can't wait to show the album to my son as soon as he is old enough to understand and tell him all about our wedding day.

Liz is absolutely the best photographer to work with! We wanted her to shoot our engagement, bridals, and wedding because she has an eye for beautiful shots and doesn't over-edit her images. Her pictures are very clean. I love our wedding album because its completely captures us as a couple. Our wedding package also included a 20x30 print (which we chose from our bridal session) and it is hanging in our living room. To this day, we still receive complements from guests on how beautiful this picture is hanging in our home. Finding and investing in an excellent photographer is absolutely key for a wedding. You have to trust one person to completely capture your special day. I had done a lot of research with top photographers in Utah and ultimately picked Liz because I loved her photos and what she offered in her wedding package. She is also national award-winning photographer. So, if you want your pictures magazine-perfect she will not disappoint!

Liz is hands down Amazing. I met her through a friend that I was a bridesmaid for and whose wedding Liz shot. I knew when I got engaged, she would be my first and only consideration.

She shot our Engagements, my Bridals, and our Reception. Our wedding ceremony was held in Hawaii and Liz was about to have a baby so she wasn't able to attend, but had the baby not been coming so close to the date, we know she would have joined us. I still get compliments on every picture. Liz made this the least stressful part of planning a wedding. We were able to plan shoot times with ease, she made my fiancé comfortable in front of the camera (something no easily done), everything turned out just like I wanted.

To me, photographs were the most important thing and where I was willing to spend my money (bonus, Liz does amazing work and is affordable). The pictures are the only physical things that you have after that day. I won't wear my dress again, I won't eat the food, I won't see all those faces together again at one time, but I have my High Quality pictures that remind me of it all and I can share them with everyone.

I can not say enough of Liz's work! We had her do our engagements, blacktie, and wedding day photography. For our engagements, we had the crazy combination of an orchard in bloom and a winter snow sprinkle. Liz worked with the elements without blinking an eye, and the picture's turned out wonderfully!
For our black tie, I was struggling to come up with a location. Liz asked me what I wanted and I gave her the specifics of stone, ivy, water, and unique architecture would be a bonus. She didn't come back with 1 suggestion... she came back with 5, within a day! She knew exactly what I wanted and what would look gorgeous in pictures. During the session, she posed us expertly and snuck quite a few candid's that I absolutely love! Besides that, she kept my fiancee happy while taking pictures, which was quite a feat in and of itself!
Finally our wedding day. Word's can not describe how happy I am with her work on our wedding day. Liz expertly wrangled both of our extensive families with lots of little children and made them look like a civilized group! I asked her to catch the day, so that when I looked back on the pictures it would bring back memories. She did just that, from the little kids wrestling behind the tables, to the candy bar and misting system, to the moment my grandma shared with a long lost friend. I pull the pictures out at least once a week and relive our perfect day, exclusively through her lenses.
After the fact Liz has been wonderful to work with, getting us our pictures right after we got home from our honeymoon, providing my mother in law with a copy of our memory book, answering my random questions! I would use her again in a heartbeat!

I LOVE Liz's work. My sister used Liz as her wedding photographer back in 2009, and when I got married I knew I had to use her as well because her work is amazing. Her prices may seem higher than other photographers', but that is because Liz is a REAL photographer with real talent and experience. There are a lot of people starting to venture into the photography world, so they're trying to build a portfolio. That is why you may see a lot of people with "really good deals"--because they're just getting starting. Liz had the perfect photography package for me. Photography was probably the most important aspect of my wedding (as far as vendors go), so I chose to use Liz because she is an all-around great photographer. She is organized, communicates well, has an artistic mind (there is a big difference between knowing how to use a camera, and knowing how to take the right shots). She is SO easy to get along with. She is easy-going, but she is assertive (in a good way). She isn't controlling when taking pictures (who wants that on their big day), but she gets the job and the shots you want done. Between both my and my husband's families, there were some potentially awkward/complicated situations among family that could've happened with the grouping of people in family pictures. I talked to Liz about this (divorced parents, remarriages, etc.) because I wanted to make sure everything went smoothly. We emailed back and forth prior to my wedding day to come up with a list of family shots to take so that there were no awkward moments in trying to take family photos on the wedding day. Liz knows how to make EVERYONE look good. If you need to adjust anything, she'll tell you. She won't let you spend money on photography you'll be disappointed with. So many of my friends have had to wait at least a month to see their photos..Liz had mine ready earlier than that. Liz also offers leather-bound books of all the pictures from your wedding. I highly recommend this photographer.

Our wedding was October 2014, at Louland Falls. We hired Liz at the recommendation of my husband who is a local photographer. .

Liz was very responsive to every email or phone call—any questions that we had, she always had an answer. We mostly corresponded by email. We met in person initially to discuss what we were looking for and decided to get engagements, full wedding coverage, and black tie pictures.

We had our engagement pictures taken in Little Cottonwood Canyon at sunset and they were so beautiful. It was actually really fun & very romantic! I was very impressed with Liz’s quality, ability to capture “us” (and not look awkward) and her quick turn around on getting the images returned to us.

For our wedding, Liz came to shoot me and my bridal party getting ready at the hotel Monaco. We took a trolley up to the venue and she got a lot of amazing pictures before the ceremony began. I was nervous that pictures would not be able to capture how beautiful it was with the fall colors in full bloom, and all of the detailed/unique decorations that we spent a lot of time picking out---but Liz was able to capture every part of it. She did it in a very tasteful and gorgeous way.

We decided to forego a videographer and I was slightly concerned about not being able to capture our first dance that was specially choreographed by a friend. Liz captured every minute of our ceremony and reception including all of our emotions (the laughs, smiles, crying).

The best part of our pictures were the black tie pictures in which we drove down to Moab the week after our wedding. My husband wanted to take pictures down in Arches. Liz was really excited for an opportunity to shoot at a unique location. We were running the Half Marathon that weekend, so Liz agreed to meet us out there. The pictures were amazing!

Liz is an award winning photographer and her work is spectacular. We love her photography & highly recommend her.

Elizabeth was professional, responsive, talented and committed. We had two shoots with her: engagement and wedding. The engagement session was done in the winter after a snowstorm. She wound climb snowbanks and stand in thigh-deep snow to get her shot, which we all love. During our wedding in August, she always seemed to always be in the right place at the right time. She was also sure to get all the important family photographs. My wife and I can not recommend Elizabeth enough.

Liz was fantastic. Her pictures are gorgeous and she was really good at getting the specific pictures that I wanted on my wedding day. The cost was reasonable and she was really responsive to any questions or concerns that I had.
