Elizabeth Moran is an incredible person to work with. I hired her and the deisgnory for hair and makeup. Elizabeth was very transparent through the entire process. I do not know anything about makeup so I wanted to do very natural. She listened and made my vision more than anything I could expected. I had a very large party (10 people) getting hair and makeup done. They were so fast and efficient. The value you get from hiring her and her team are incredible. Yes, please hire her. -

I was so happy I went with Elizabeth for my hair and makeup - she and her team were unbelievably professional, talented, and kind. Carmen did the hair for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mother. Andrea did makeup for myself, my sister, and my mom. The initial booking and trial scheduling process were seamless, and their prices were very reasonable/comparable to other hair and makeup vendors in Massachusetts.
I'll start by saying I was very nervous about finding vendors who would be able to work with me. I'm South Asian and have a fairly dark skin tone, and I rarely wear make up. I also have quite thin hair, and my "styling" consists of using a flat straightener for five minutes. I needn't have worried, because Carmen and Andrea are unbelievably talented and true professionals.
Carmen and Andrea were absolutely perfect. I gave them both a few sample images for the initial trial, and they did an excellent job improvising and understanding the style I wanted from the pictures alone. On the actual wedding day, they completely understood the small tweaks I requested after the trial, and executed perfectly. They were so receptive to my feedback and what I envisioned.
For Carmen - every single bridesmaid was thrilled with how incredibly their hair turned out (all of whom have VERY different hair), and she was able to quickly and amazingly create a vision for my mother and sister's hair on the spot. She was also such a joy to have with us while we were getting ready, just because of her positive energy and adaptability. For Andrea - I truly don't believe my sister or I have ever looked that beautiful in our entire lives. I honestly could have cried just looking in the mirror! My mother's make up was also so elegant, and Andrea was wonderful at helping create the perfect look for her. And nine months pregnant at that!!
I cannot recommend highly enough. Do not look anywhere else - go with Elizabeth and her team!!! -

I cannot recommend Elizabeth and Ally enough, they made me feel the most beautiful on the most special day of my life. When I first reached out to Elizabeth, I told her that it was really important to me that I still looked like myself on my wedding day and not overloaded with makeup, and boy did she deliver! She made me feel like THE most flawless version of myself that day, for the ENTIRE day. No matter the tears, hugs, and kisses, the makeup did not budge or smudge. The same went for my hair, Ally made it look even better than I pictured and it still looked flawless from the ceremony to the after party, even after dancing like crazy and LOTS of hugs. Elizabeth and Ally also got so many compliments from my bridal party and my mom. My mom was hardcore sobbing the entire day and her makeup still looked flawless at the end of the night! Everyones hair also turned out exactly how they wanted and stayed beautiful for the entire night. I also so appreciated all of Elizabeth's suggestions and her openness to incorporating my feedback between the trial and wedding day. You cannot go wrong with hiring these two for your wedding day! -

Elizabeth and Ally are seriously THE BEST hair and makeup duo. They bring such fun but calming energy to getting ready, and they are really amazing at what they do. I worked with Elizabeth (makeup) and Mel (hair) for my late September 2020 microwedding on Plum Island. They made the entire day effortless and made me feel beyond beautiful. They're amazing.
I had started looking for hair/makeup sort of late in the wedding planning schedule, thanks to all of the wedding replanning with COVID and was really nervous about finding someone I felt comfortable with. Elizabeth was a dream come true. She was super responsive and really accommodating with my crazy work schedule with coordinating a trial. I showed her some Pinterest boards for inspiration and she and Mel captured my vision perfectly - and then some. They made me and my mom & sister feel so comfortable and relaxed during the whole process. Plus, they're SO FUN!!! These ladies literally made me feel like a beach goddess on this incredible day. I couldn't have asked for a better team.
I cannot recommend Elizabeth enough. If you're looking to have someone make you feel like the most beautiful version of you on your wedding day, book Elizabeth and her team now. Thank you, Elizabeth!!! -

I cannot express how AMAZING Lizzy was. First, her spray tan is incredible. I have never seen a spray tan that I liked, they always look too dark! Her spray tans are SO natural. I wanted to be sure I didn't look like I went to a tanning bed before having a winter wedding & she gave me the most natural healthy glow :)
Also, I am a TOUGH critic with makeup, and I was certain I wouldn't find a makeup artist that could make me feel & look like myself (while also making me look flawless in photos). Lizzy did our makeup for the shower, rehearsal, and wedding. It was INCREDIBLE! I also developed a breakout the week of our wedding and she made the redness & scars disappear all while keeping it natural/healthy, and without piling on makeup.
She is also incredibly flexible and reliable. We loved her, thank you so much! -

I got married last weekend and Elizabeth and Ally (hair) were the best! Elizabeth was super responsive, showed up early and made sure my maid of honor and I were ready to go with extra time to spare. Like other reviews said, getting ready with them was so easy and laid back, it felt like I was hanging out with girlfriends. I wanted to look natural and like an enhanced version of myself which Elizabeth totally nailed! Ally also did an amazing job with hair, my hair stayed perfectly all night and even lasted for 2 days after. I cannot recommend these two enough! For stress-free, reasonably priced, and fun to be around hair and makeup, look no further! -

I reached out to Elizabeth a few months ago about hair and makeup for our microwedding a few weeks ago. She as quick to respond and very easy to communicate with.
And oh my goodness, Elizabeth and Ally were the most perfect women to spend my wedding day afternoon with. I knew the second that Elizabeth asked me at my trial a few days before how I wanted to look/feel and then she followed up with "fresh, light, and the best version of yourself" that she was the one. Both she and Ally are super warm, funny, and easy to be with - which made the whole day so much less stressful!
Our hair and makeup stayed in place the entire day, and I loved that I still looked and felt like me (I'm not someone who does a lot of make up usually!). I seriously cannot recommend Elizabeth enough - if you've been looking for someone to make you feel your best and most beautiful, your search is over. Elizabeth is the one for you! -

Elizabeth was so amazing to work with. From responding to the first emails, setting up a trial, And being flexible on the wedding details. We had a bridesmaid drop out and a change of location due to Covid, which made for a longer drive for her, and it was no issue at all! Not only was she a pleasure to work with but her makeup was outstanding as well. She enhanced my features and allowed me to look camera ready while also still looking like me! All the bridesmaids were also extremely happy with their makeup as they all wanted "natural" and "not too heavy". While hanging out with us most of the day Elizabeth was very social and made us all comfortable and it was like she was one of our group hanging out with us on my wedding day! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for wedding makeup, or makeup for any special occasion as her price point was also super affordable!! -

I had reached out to Elizabeth pre-pandemic looking for hair and makeup services for our fall wedding. While she was not available for our specific date, she recommended an esthetician and stylist she worked with who have similar styles. Then COVID hit any everything was paused. Once salons were able to open again, Elizabeth connected me with Jen and Carmen for my trial in July, even though our plans were still up in the air. They were so professional and I felt totally safe and at ease in Carmen's private salon! They did such a fantastic job at the trial that while facetiming one of my bridesmaids, she decided on the spot to have her hair and makeup done too. Jen and Elizabeth reached out a few weeks before the wedding to confirm all the details (since our location and bridal party did change). Jen and Carmen arrived early, set up quickly, and were a great addition to our day! My three bridesmaids were very happy with their hair and makeup, as was I! And our hair even stayed in the whole day which is a miracle for mine! I would absolutely recommend this team to another bride. -

After a bad hair/makeup trial at another salon, I found this duo and they were super responsive and helpful getting a trial setup so close to my wedding (~1 month). The trial was perfect and helped relieve so much stress I had leading up to the big day. On the wedding day they were on time, relaxed, funny, and did an outstanding job! My makeup was beautiful and not overpowering (as someone that doesn’t usually wear that much) and it lasted all night long (despite a lot of sweating on a super humid summer day). Elizabeth and Carmen are literally the best!! They made me feel so comfortable from the moment I met them. They checked in on me after my trial and after the wedding. Wow! I still think about my wedding make- up to this day! Elizabeth and her team truly made me and my bridal party feel absolutely stunning on my wedding day. Excellent experience
Choosing to work with Elizabeth and Ally for hair and make up was my easiest and best decision as to vendors. They were flexible and responsive in planning for the day. Liz did my makeup for my wedding. As a 50+ bride I didn't want to look made-up....wanted to look beautiful and natural & Liz did that to a T! I think I’m pretty good at makeup so it’s hard for me to let others do my makeup for me. I’ve been bridesmaid before and have had my makeup done & honestly I never really liked it. It’s either been way too heavy, a palate that I don’t like with my skin tone or made me
not feel like myself. The day of my trial I showed a few photos and Liz knew instantly the look I was going for. She NAILED it, my makeup was the perfect, I felt incredibly beautiful, not overdone & was glowing. When I left to see some of my friends after they could not stop raving over how good my makeup looked. And yet the day of, my makeup was even better!! Myself and all my bridesmaids were glowing, our makeup looked stunning in person and gorgeous in photos. I couldn’t believe it lasted all night through hours of dancing and through the entire after party until I finally called it quits at 3am. -

Hiring Elizabeth Moran Beauty was one of the best decisions I made in planning my wedding! Not only was she professional and organized, she completely put me at ease during what is usually a very stressful day. Prior to the big day, we scheduled a makeup trial and a spray tan session, both of which she came to me. All of my preconceived notions of spray tans went out the window and after she was finished I was left with a natural glow that looked amazing in person and in our photographs. Coming from someone who has never had their makeup professionally done, Lizzie made me feel totally comfortable and made the whole experience relaxing and fun. Not to mention my makeup looked AMAZING! Lizzie went above and beyond and not only took care of my mom’s makeup last minute, but put a little sparkle on my little nieces as well! It made their day! I felt so beautiful, got endless compliments, and my makeup held up without a worry through a full day And night of laughing, crying, and dancing! I can not recommend Lizzie enough. A few weeks after my makeup trial, which was difficult to get to, but went well, my makeup artist Jenn canceled allegedly because she was not comfortable with my additional requests (nothing too major, just adding some light highlight, and adjusting the lip liner placement). I felt that it was already above the bar, and that a few minor adjustments would just make even more perfect. Without calling me to discuss, or emailing me, she canceled on me because she was not "comfortable with the feedback." I mean how weird and unprofessional is that? The replacement person I got on my wedding did a horrible job. Definitely below the bar. They also did me last, so that the makeup would be "fresh" but I had no time to really ask them to fix the makeup, which made me look not even like myself. I truly hate even looking at any of my wedding photos where you can see the makeup.
They also canceled my hair trial last minute, allegedly due to covid. It was so last minute that there was no time to reschedule the trial. And so, I also hated my weird flat looking crunchy hair during the wedding.
This is a review for a 2022 wedding. I didn't want to post immediately because I wanted to take a step back for perspective. Over time, I have become even more resentful. It's actually kind of depressing that I feel like I am on an average night out more beautiful than I was on my wedding day.
