Elizabeth Craig Photography is hands down one of the best in the city of Pittsburgh. I searched all over to make sure I was getting the right style, price and quality of photos and nothing compared to Elizabeth. You can't help but love her from the start of the process shes super fun, bubbly and totally relatable! Elizabeth's eye to capture your best features and qualities is so reassuring when planning your session. Best investment I have made into myself in a long time!

Elizabeth is both professional and personable! She makes every effort to prepare you for your session, and makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera in ways only a close friend could do. While planning for the session, she responded promptly on every occasion, despite it being a busy season AND her having an interview on WTAE in the midst! During the session, I had my reservations, with my own insecurities in mind, but the end results were more than I could have hoped for. My husband was equally, if not more, happy with our results and had nothing but raves for our experience with Elizabeth!

Elizabeth was shopping at the grocery store I worked in one day and she noticed my makeup and came to talk to me about doing a photoshoot. Being a male in makeup and never having my picture professionally taken (not even senior class pictures) I was so nervous but I said yes because she just seemed so genuine. She gave so many tips and guides BEFORE the shoot that I was so much more at ease before our shoot. The day of the shoot was the best day of my life. Her makeup artist was amazing Elizabeth was so welcoming and made my nerves practically gone! But what really wowed me is how that woman can work a camera!!!!! The photos were beyond perfect and I will cherish them forever. I will never recommend anyone in the Pittsburgh area to ANYONE except her.

Elizabeth shot my boudoir photos this past month! She had done my best friends a few years ago and I tagged along for the ride. I didn't think I could ever have as much fun as I did on that day during her shoot! Both experiences were phenomena but actually being behind the lens was such a fulfilling moment of my life. Elizabeth not only made me look like a model but feel like the hottest girl ever. She is so empowering and really brings the best out in you. She is so professional and does her job above and beyond. I would and do recommend her to every woman that's interested in this type of day. Both my friend and I are going to have a shoot together to feel like bosses but mainly to hang out with E again! You cannot go wrong with this girl!

I didn't have a wedding shoot, but I booked a single session. I searched throughout Pittsburgh to find something with a look that made me interesting, and I came across Elizabeth Craig. She was very accommodating and was able to book a session with me very quickly! Before the shoot, we talked about what I was looking for, shared photos of the outfits we were thinking about using and all of this was amazingly smooth.

During the shoot, there was a lovely spread of finger foods and plenty of mimosas and wine (I needed it to relax). I felt very comfortable throughout the entire process. One of the best parts about the experience was sitting down with Elizabeth and going through the photos during the reveal. More wine, a few personal stories and some happy tears later, I left to go home feeling as if it was the best gift I have given to myself.

I couldn't recommend Elizabeth enough!

So I did not use Elizabeth Craig Photography for a wedding, Elizabeth did a professional photo shoot for my business. She did an incredible job and worked with me to identify my brand, my vision and help to create that look and feel that I wanted my social media to have. Elizabeth makes you feel right at home in her studio and totally relaxed and comfortable. I would highly recommend using Elizabeth if you need to brand your business in any way. She does great if you share the vision, she can create that for you!

I have had the pleasure of working with John and Elizabeth full circle at this point. My first experience was with Elizabeth and one of her amazing beauty experts, Hannah, on the day of my boudoir shoot. I can honestly say that this day in Elizabeth's studio was hands down of the most fun days of my life. If you are interested in doing a boudoir shoot, Elizabeth is 100% the way to go. I was absolutely thrilled with the way my photographs turned out, and I have recommended her to so many friends who have had the same experiences. She shoots everything very tastefully and even mimics examples of what she wants you to do before you so that you never feel awkward or silly. The end result is sure to be a smoking hot album!

John and Elizabeth captured super fun and adorable engagement photos for my husband and me. It rained on our first attempt, but we were still super satisfied with the photos. Despite that John and Elizabeth insisted that we take more on another day, at no cost to us, when the weather was more appropriate. Those pics turns out awesome as well, and they even let us involve our puppy too!

They also captured my wedding day so beautifully that each time I look at my photographs tears of joy come to my eyes. They are the perfect pair. They're personalities shine and they're very down to earth making their love for the art of capturing this special day for two individuals in love shine even more. They are very professional and timely, and remain calm even in what can seem like a stressful environment, especially to a bride. Elizabeth focuses on the portraits, etc. and John shoots more editorial, capturing all those little moments that end up being awesome photos to have. This is one of my favorite things about them! Their work is top notch quality. Capturing my wedding in a way that I can admire and be satisfied with for years and years to come was so important to me, and they did not let me down. I highly recommend them.

It’s taken me quite some time since my shoot to post a review. Frankly, I couldn’t come up with the words to describe my experience. Like many others, I spent a great deal of time researching and as soon as I came across Elizabeth’s art, I knew I had to work with her. From the moment I walked in the door, Elizabeth was incredibly warm and welcoming. I got to watch her mind wander to create the most perfect set-up, and all the while she made me feel so comfortable in what I was about to do. There is nothing to ever be nervous about working with her. Once you book your session, you will basically be given a bible of dos and don’ts to help you prepare, and what to expect the day of your session. Elizabeth will handle the rest!

We had an absolute blast! Words cannot describe how amazing this experience was. At the conclusion of our time together, I purchased the most beautiful album. Elizabeth captured so many great pictures, I had to choose a handful and ask her to make the final selection! Needless to say, she did NOT disappoint!

I am overjoyed with the album. It exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to look at it for years to come. Whether it’s to feel beautiful, sexy, confident, bad ass, whatever the emotion, Elizabeth will help you find the self you desire.

I booked Elizabeth for my boudoir photos. I drove into the city from the suburbs for her expertise - I had done a lot of research! The day was better than I could have imagined! I was so nervous, but it felt like her and my stylist had been my friends for years. The music and atmosphere they built were fun, playful and relaxing. Elizabeth's directions were impeccable. I barely had to do anything! She showed me every hand position, facial expression etc., so it was just like playing Simon Says all day!

I cannot say enough good things about Elizabeth Craig! Seriously one of the best! She takes an interest in each client and truly strives to make each experience unique and amazing.

As a gift to myself earlier this year, I wanted a beauty session and thankfully I came across Elizabeth’s work. I immediately fell in love with the stunning photos on her website, as it was exactly what I wanted. As we began exchanging emails on the details of the big day, I was captivated by her initial interest in getting to know me. I never felt like just another client and truly appreciated how much effort she put into making this experience all about me. The day of the shoot far exceeded my expectations. Both she and Hannah, my hair and makeup artist, were friendly and welcoming. They both greeted me with huge hugs and big smiles, which made me instantly feel like I had known them for years. Being in front of the lens for a beauty shoot for the first time can be a little intimidating, but Elizabeth has an amazing way of easing you into it. She makes you feel glamorous, unique, and confident. Receiving your final product is just like Christmas. Seeing Elizabeth’s creativity, passion, and enthusiasm left me speechless. When I couldn’t find the words Elizabeth jumped in with “We couldn’t have picked a better cover (for the album).” No, we couldn’t have and I loved that it was a “we” every step of the way! It is an amazing experience and I highly recommended calling Elizabeth today. I’d do it all again in a heartbeat!

Without reservation we give Craig Photography the highest commendation possible. In every aspect Elizabeth and John excel. COMMUNICATION: Elizabeth answered emails promptly, thoroughly, and with an enthusiasm that is contagious - she seemed almost as excited about our wedding day as we were. PROFESSIONALISM/PERSONABLENESS: We met with Elizabeth and John prior to the wedding and instantly felt like we'd known them forever. This level of comfort was especially meaningful the day-of our small wedding (18 guests) because we felt like two more friends had arrived to share our special day. PRODUCT: Our photos are beautiful, and their patience was unending as we asked for a variety of specific poses or groupings for portraits. I am particularly happy with the “story” that is portrayed through the photos – I was able to create a slideshow that beautifully captures the feel of the day to share with the loved ones that we weren’t able to invite. I do not even know where to begin with this review because Elizabeth and John are beyond spectacular at what they do. We, my husband and I, found Craig photography through a list of choices from our wedding planner shayne souleret. All the other photographers portfolios were nice but not stunning - then we looked at the Craigs website and knew instantly we had to have them. We hired them for engagement pictures, my personal boudoir photos, and our wedding day photographs. John and Elizabeth are genuinely the best in the industry - they are not only great at what they do but extremely easy to work with and very caring individuals. The two of them traveled to our home town for the engagement pictures and boudoir photos and we instantly felt comfortable having them in our home. I am in awe at the beauty of the pictures these two were able to produce. They are a phenomenal team capturing not only the beautiful landscape and the portrait themed photos but they are masters at capturing the amount of fun your guests are having in their photographs. I will always speak highly of this couples ability to photograph and will continue to utilize their services in the future. Also of utmost importance - the turn around time between the event and when you receive your pictures is unbelievable. There is no waiting months and months to view your pictures. They are worth every penny.

Elizabeth and John are absolutely fantastic! They are true artists with a wonderful passion for their work and I was thoroughly impressed with the both of them.

My husband and I booked Elizabeth Craig Photography after falling in love with some photos of another wedding they had done at the venue we had chosen. We did not meet Elizabeth and John until our engagement session and after that session we knew we did not go wrong! Not only do they take amazing photos, but they are also just enjoyable people to be around. They are fun and personable and really want to give you an experience that is all your own – when they are around you, they are only focused on you.

At both our engagement session and again on our wedding day, I was amazed at how they just thought up a bunch of different, unique ideas for portraits on the spot. They really tell a story through the photos, which helps you to relive the best day of your life all over again. We love our wedding photos so much – we have no idea how we are going to consolidate them for an album!

Coming across this husband and wife dynamic duo was a blessing! From the engagement photos all the way through the big day both Elizabeth and John were willing to work with us and deliver the best experience. My wife and I aren't used to being the focus of attention, so we were worried about taking engagement photos. The Craig's created a loose environment that allowed us to be natural. Wonderful photos, wonderful locations! On the wedding day, they were behind the scenes capturing all the special moments. They were never in the way, but always there when you needed/wanted them.

We had a wonderful experience with Elizabeth & John on our wedding day! Elizabeth's communication and planning prior to the event was great, and lifted a ton of stress off my shoulders. They were both extremely easy-going and wonderful to get along with throughout the day. What I appreciated most was how quickly they got us through the 'portrait' photos after the wedding. We didn't want to waste a ton of time taking wedding party & family photos, because we wanted to get back to our guests and reception! They hurried us through the portraits very quickly, provided great direction, and got us back to our reception in a very short time. The photos we got back from them were absolutely amazing, and our friends and family all commented on how great they turned out. We have a ton of beautiful candid photos of us, the wedding party, and at least 90% of our guests. Highly recommended!

Elizabeth and John were amazing!! We hired them to take engagement photos and wedding photos and they were so much fun and had such great energy - it was great having them there. My husband and I are not super comfortable in front of the camera and were worried we would end up with a bunch of awkward staged photos, but they really helped us get into it and ended up really capturing the spirit of the day. Elizabeth and John are extremely talented photographers and will let you have your close up and intimate wedding pictures as well as very artistic and dramatic pictures. Their styles compliment each other and you will have a wide variety of fabulous pictures to choose from because each one is truly special. On our wedding day, my husband and I barely noticed that they were taking pictures because they blended in with the flow of the day seamlessly. They took pictures of everything and it's been a joy seeming parts of the day that we would have missed if it weren't for their pictures! They are very easy to get along with and made my husband and I comfortable on a very stress-inducing day. I am extremely pleased with our decision to have them as our wedding photographers! Craig photograph made my wedding day so special and my husband and highly recommend them! After having our engagement session, we knew we were in great hands. Not only did we feel so comfortable during the session, the quality of the pictures were amazing! The were also so great about incorporating different things we wanted. Through out the whole process, their professionalism and timelines was outstanding. I don't think it took Elizabeth longer than 24 hours to respond to any of my emails. It addition, they were so calm and collected which helped keep everyone in line on the wedding day. Our makeup artist was an 1 and 1/2 hours late which resulted in lost time for pictures. Elizabeth kept her calm and rather than taking countless pictures, she took quality pictures which captured the day. John did an awesome job capturing the boys getting ready and all the groomsmen had a blast with him! One of the best things about they always seemed to blend up but were right there when you needed them. Elizabeth and John did a wonderful job capturing the entire day and I would highly recommend them!

Elizabeth and John Craig are fantastic photographers that we can’t recommend highly enough!! My wife and I both work in the film industry in Los Angeles, so we know a lot about photography and making people look good. But our wedding was in Pittsburgh, PA where my wife and her family are from, so hiring excellent local vendors was a little tricky for us.

In additional to the usual wedding photos, my wife and I came up with several editorial style photos we wanted to take with the bridal party. Elizabeth and John were not only open to discussing these ideas with us, they were thrilled to collaborate creatively and work together on my wife’s unique vision.

We asked a lot of them on our big day, and they came through with flying colors. They are a great team that work together and apart. Many photos they took together, but when everyone is getting ready Elizabeth spends time with the girls while John is with the guys. Their styles cover two different approaches, which is awesome because together you get everything you could ever need. Elizabeth is editorial in style and John is more of a capture the moment photographer. They are easy to work with, easy to talk to and super fun people to have around on your wedding day.

Their work speaks for itself, just take a look at their website and blogs. And for those couples that don’t have a specific vision for your photos, they bring a lot of really awesome ideas to the table and a wealth of experience to make sure your wedding day is beautifully photographed.

Elizabeth and John Craig are easily the most professional and personable photography team you will meet in your wedding planning process. They photographed both my husband and I's engagement session and wedding day events and the products of both installments far exceeded our expectations. As a bride, there is no one else I would have rather had by my side on my wedding day! Each photo they produce has a aesthetic value that makes the viewer feel as though they are inches from the subject matter. Elizabeth and John did such a beautiful job capturing our wedding day exactly the way we had hoped! They took so many amazing pictures that it's impossible to choose which ones I want to have printed. Elizabeth was the BEST at communicating with my husband and I through the entire wedding planning process and even to this day (10 months after our wedding) is still answering all of my emails within hours. She is so quick to respond and extremely helpful in giving advice, even beyond photography. I would absolutely recommend Elizabeth and John to anyone!

Elizabeth and John were amazing to work with. Elizabeth took the time to understand the kind of experience we were planning and the type of photography we thought would capture the spirit and mood of our special day. And they got it spot on. Elizabeth and John Craig of Craig Photography exceeded all of our expectations....by far! After scouring the internet for two months and taking countless calls and meetings on the hunt to find the perfect photographer to capture our wedding, I thankfully came across Craig Photography. I knew instantly after seeing their incredible blog and reading the reviews that the caliber of their work was exactly what I was looking for. However, it was the moment we spoke via FaceTime, as I was planning my Ohio wedding from New York City, that I knew I could not imagine a more professional and lovely team to work with. Elizabeth was beyond accommodating and attentive to our needs and logistics from our E-session to our wedding day and now during our album process.
The morning after our wedding my husband and I were reminiscing and we quickly realized Elizabeth and John played such an important role in making us have an incredible day. It felt like we had known them for years so we could just enjoy our day that went all to quickly. They captured everything with such ease which is a quality that was priceless to us.
What I loved most about working with Elizabeth and John was the comfort they provided me not only on my wedding day but throughout this entire process, from taking my calls to quickly answering emails, showing up early and being so accommodating to our shots throughout the night and respecting our privacy when it comes to releasing images which was very important to us. Every member of my family and bridal party, groom and groomsmen included, has commented to us that Elizabeth and John were the best wedding photographers they have ever worked with, which is a testament to their pleasant demeanor and professionalism. I hope this review helps future brides and grooms realize Craig Photography is a wonderful investment. The images framed in our first home together will remind us of that every day. Without a doubt, they were one of the best choices we made for our wedding day.

I cannot say enough good things about Craig Photography. My husband and I have worked with Elizabeth and John on two separate photo shoots within the last six months and not only have we had an absolute blast getting to know these two wonderful, capable, organized, positive people, but we have also LOVED the photographs they produced. The resulting product was classic, modern, but with the vintage touch we wanted. E and J were such an essential part of our wedding, even though they were so stealth we hardly knew they were there at the time, and I'm so glad we found them.

Elizabeth and John did a phenomenal job with our engagement photos and wedding. They are a pleasure to work with in that they are both professional and personable. They are responsive to all requests and go the extra mile to make you happy, something often lacking with most wedding vendors. As a result you will end up with two different types of photographs, portraiture and photojournalistic type photos. Both are truly amazing. I feel that Elizabeth and John truly captured the inner beauty of people when it was exuded on the outside, whether it was me and my husband, our parents, our attendants or our guests. The photographs we received back are just beautiful. They look more like works of art than simple photographs. We will surely cherish them for years to come.

I can not say enough about them - they were on time, captured every single moment of our day and were so organized that we even made it to our cocktail hour to celebrate ( which was very important to us). Our families and everyone in our wedding party loved working with them. After the wedding, I received a link to our slideshow with music and all edited photos uploaded to share with family and friends within A WEEK.....what bride can say that?? Elizabeth and John were awesome. They are both really easy-going but on top of getting a good shot. A friend said she thought that I had 10 photographers at the wedding since they were always available to snap a photo when I wanted. They weren't intrusive at all though. They posted a blog with some photos a couple of days after the wedding, and then the full set were available a week later!

We searched for a long time to find a photographer that fit our personality types and style, and finally we came across Craig Photography. Let me say that Elizabeth and John were absolutely fantastic and we could not have been more pleased with our photos and more importantly, the service and responsiveness that we experienced prior to our wedding. Elizabeth responded to every email and call within 24 hours (if not in minutes) and she prepared us so much for our special day. The day of the wedding was a whirlwind and with our enormous wedding party and guests, they somehow managed to still capture every moment. Elizabeth and John are amazing. They captured our wedding so perfectly! We had a big wedding (~350 guests) and they did a good job of getting pictures of almost everyone. They were extremely accommodating, even when we threw in some last minute changes (additional portraits before reception, a lot more family photos than originally planned, etc.). They checked repeatedly with us to make sure they weren't missing any important shots. We also received our photos super quickly, which I was amazed by since it's the middle of their busiest season. Overall, they did an awesome job and I would highly recommend them to any bride.

Elizabeth and John are professional, talented, lovely photographers. Upon first meeting Elizabeth, I knew I wanted them for the job. She was quick to respond to emails and was always courteous and kind in answering all of my questions and concerns about my wedding day. She was helpful, kind, and extremely personable. I felt secure in putting my whole trust in them on my wedding day to plan our poses, locations, and even the flow of our day. On the wedding day, both Elizabeth and John were so kind and assuring to us, allowing us to be ourselves. Their affection for each other was inspiring and sweet; it set a tone of love which encouraged us to be at our best. The photographs themselves (which were available the week after our wedding) are absolutely beautiful. There are many portraits and candids to choose from, all of which capture the essence of us and our guests and our day. People are amazed at the beauty of the pictures and we can’t believe it’s us. Elizabeth (and John) were the first photographers that I met with and I immediately knew they were the right fit for my husband and I. I decided to keep looking just to make sure I wasn't in "I found my photographer!" heaven and ultimately decided after meeting with a few others to move forward with Craig (the others did not even compare). From the very beginning they were very responsive, kindly straight forward, and easy going. The husband/wife combo really went a long way for me too. They worked together so well while one was shooting one type of shot, the other was shooting something entirely different. The end result of our photos were AMAZING. On our wedding day, it was like 95 degrees outside and we did a glance shoot prior to the ceremony. I was so concerned because we were both visibly sweating (I'm talking major sweating) and YOU CANNOT EVEN TELL in the pictures - they are THAT good. I highly recommend Elizabeth and John to anyone and everyone out there. They will not disappoint.

We recently hired Craig Photography and are MORE than happy with our photos! I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful the wedding pictures were – Elizabeth and John are truly talented. I feel as if they really captured the spirit of the day. Additionally, they made me and my husband feel so at ease. Neither of us are the most comfortable around cameras, but Elizabeth and John made us feel so comfortable, like we could just be ourselves, and I feel like that's exactly what was captured in our wedding photos. Throughout the whole process, they were so professional and always easy to get in touch with, and I couldn't even believe how fast the pictures were ready (less than two weeks). Even the little things, like the beautiful packaging of the memory stick and the wedding cd really just added to how impressed I was. Craig photography is the BEST! My financee and I met with multiple photographers since pictures were one of the most important things to us for our wedding. There was no question after our meeting that they were the perfect photographers for our wedding. Their work is amazing!

I just got married 1 1/2 weeks ago and our pictures were ready to look at 9 days later. They are INCREDIBLE! The detail that they captured is unbelievable. Except for the pictures we took right after our ceremony, I don't remember seeing either one of them (they are a husband and wife team) the entire night. Then when I saw the pictures, it was like they had been right there every second of the day. They didn't miss a thing.

And they are the nicest people you will ever meet. I could go on and on all day, but the bottom line is if you are looking for exceptional photographers you need to hire them. You won't be disappointed. I'm a perfectionist and there's not a single thing I would change about our pictures.

If you don't read my entire review, please at least read this: I am eternally grateful to have had the opportunity for John and Elizabeth Craig to photograph our wedding day. The Craigs are every bride's dream vendor; they deliver a fantastic product for a reasonable price, all while being completely professional, super responsive, flexible, fun, and all-around amazing people!

First, the photos! I am IN LOVE with our wedding photos! I look at them every day and wonder how the Craigs were able to get such amazing photographs out of the two most un-photogenic people ever! I normally dread having my picture taken, but they made everyone feel so comfortable and we all had a blast! Not only did the pictures turn out great, but we received the digital images only a few weeks after the wedding (weeks!! most photographers take MONTHS!), plus two beautiful slide shows that they put together that still bring tears to my eyes every time I watch them! The Craigs worked really hard to get us the photos that we so desperately wanted to see as quickly as possible.

One of the greatest things about the Craigs is that they will happily do everything in their power to make your wedding day easier and better! They helped us choose locations for our wedding party photos (neither myself nor my husband know downtown Pittsburgh too well), helped us put together a timeline of pre-wedding events (we had no clue how long wedding party photos should take), agreed to split up so that John could photograph the men getting ready and Elizabeth could photograph the women getting ready 10 miles away, suggested that we take a walk and some photographs at nearby Station Square when we realized we were WAY ahead of schedule (not part of our timeline, but so glad we did!), ran out into traffic with rest of the wedding party to get photos on the Smithfield bridge, ... the list goes on and on. Elizabeth literally fed me my lunch while I was getting my hair done and my hands were busy with last-minute wedding crafts, no joke! Bottom line -- they really care about making sure your wedding day as perfect as it possibly can be. What more could you ask for?

As helpful as the Craigs were up until our ceremony started, that's where it ended. Once they went into stealthy photographer/ninja mode, they basically became invisible for the remainder of the night... but I know they were there because there are photos to prove it! I still don't understand how they managed to capture every moment at both the ceremony and reception without getting in anyone's way, but they did!

All in all, the #1 best decision that I made through this whole crazy wedding experience was marrying my husband. The #2 best was hiring the Craigs to photograph our wedding day. And now that the wedding is over, I am most certainly planning to asking the Craigs to photograph every other significant event that happens in our lives... starting with booking a boudoir session with Elizabeth's once I get brave enough! ;)

John and Elizabeth were fabulous. My photographer was something that was my top priority. I didn't even think about my dress until I knew who our photographer was going to be. My husband and I looked at around 30 different photographers from all over the state of PA. We looked at Craig Photography because we liked their style. They did a cousin of mine's wedding and their pictures were amazing. They were out of our budget range at first, but we decided to book them because we knew we would get quality pictures, and that was more important to us than almost anything. We were so satisfied with the pictures that John and Elizabeth took. They did an engagement session with us and were wonderful. Not only are they phenomenal photographers, but they are great people as well. They are real, genuine, artistic, and creative people who see beauty everywhere. We got so many amazing pictures, and their service was fabulous. I would recommend Craig photography to anyone, and would use them again (and again!)

She had a spectacular layout of previous wedding photography albums to browse through..... i didn't call anyone else nor do anymore research. I never once had to search for her and john they were always on top of everything. And they got every single moment possible captured on their cameras. Elizabeth and John were absolutely fantastic!!! They photographed my rehearsal dinner and my wedding and I could not have been more pleased with their service and the quality of their pictures. Elizabeth and John were fantastic on so many levels. Elizabeth was the first photographer we met with. I was drawn to their photos from the website..Who wouldn't be?? Immediately after meeting her my then fiance said "You want to hire them don't you, because I do". We knew after only spending a few minutes that she was the person we wanted to take our photos! She was amazing so we assumed her husband would be equally as amazing, which proved to be true! We met John during out engagement session in the strip and it was fabulous! I loved every single picture and they captured the love and intentsity between us that I wanted to save in a picture. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but their photos are worth so much more. When it came time for our wedding they proved me wrong, I didn't think I could become more impressed then I already was with them, but I certainly was blown away. I had my wedding photos less than two days after the big day, and for a bride that was the best gift I could ask for. I looked through more than 900 photos immediately. I fell in love with photo after photo. My husband does not smile using his teeth ever, and they captured him in the pure real big teeth happy smile that I try so hard to capture on camera. You can see the love between us, the excitement in our guests eyes, and the joy and sense of pride illuminating from our parents. Elizabeth and John captured every moment from our wedding day perfectly, our wedding story is told from our photos and if you weren't there you can sense the emotions of the day just from our photos. Elizabeth was so great that even when the wedding gift I got for my husband was stolen (yes during our wedding) she helped me figure it out and replaced it. I can say so much more about the quality of their photos, their responsiveness, and their professionalism. They made me comfortable and our guests. If you are having a wedding and they are not your photographer, you may want to reconsider :) Good luck wedding planning and if you're smart you'll choose Craig-Photography!

Elizabeth and John are AMAZING!!!! They did an engagement session as well as our wedding photographs and were nothing but the absolute best on both occasions. Not only do they take amazing pictures, but they make you feel incredibly comfortable in all the mayhem that a wedding day can bring. They blend seamlessly into the background, but are still able to capture so many wonderful memories (not to mention they photographed our outdoor ceremony on one of the hottest days of the year with no complaints:)). We also received our photos shortly after we returned from our honeymoon - very impressed! Thank you Elizabeth and John!!!

There is no way for me to express in words just how wonderful Elizabeth and John are, both as photographers and as people. To make a long story short, I found out, the morning of my wedding, that my original photographer was not going to show; basically took the money and ran. With a quick phone call from my DJ to Elizabeth and John, they were packed up and on their way to my wedding venue. My husband and I are extremely fortunate and blessed that such an amazing pair like Elizabeth and John happened to be free that day. It was a real blessing in disguise that my original photographer didn't show. I would consider Craig Photography the premier photographers in the Pittsburgh area. They were SUPER nice and very professional. All of the guests were commenting on how great they were. I will recommend them to anyone that I know who's getting married.

After meeting with 3 different photographers and not being completely satisfied, we discovered Craig Photography--and we are SO glad that we did!! Elizabeth and John are amazing photographers and people! They photographed a family portrait session for us and our entire wedding day. Elizabeth and John are both flexible, fun, easy going, creative, and professional people--and they completely compliment each other, which enabled them to capture every moment of our wedding day. Craig photography was great for our wedding! Planning from out of town was hard, and Elizabeth made it easy for us. We met with her once and the decision on who to go to was simple - they not only provided us BEAUTIFUL photos, but helped to change our plans the day before making it less stressful for me. I was concerned with traffic and the weather, and was not familiar with any places nearby to take our photos. Elizabeth made a few suggestions, and we ended up going there. The pictures turned out great, I would recommend them to anyone!

We love Craig Photography! Elizabeth was the first photographer we met with, and the last. We were drawn to Craig Photography from the amazing photos on their website, but we chose them because Elizabeth has such an amazing personality (we didn’t meet Jon initially, but he’s great too!) and we knew she was the right person to photograph our wedding. A few months before our wedding we did an engagement session with Elizabeth. It was a lot of fun and a great way to get to know Elizabeth a bit before the big day. Elizabeth also helped us create an awesome album from the engagement photos that served as a guest book for the wedding. Throughout the process, she was great about answering the phone and returning calls and emails. On our actual wedding day, Elizabeth and Jon were great. They were relaxed, non-intrusive and did such a great job handling all of the requisite family photos. And of course, we LOVE our photos – and so do all of our guests! I can not say enough wonderful things about Craig Photography! I knew from the beginning of my wedding planning that who we chose as our photographer was going to be one of the most important decisions we made. From the moment I met Elizabeth I just felt so at ease, as she is not only extremely professional, but she makes you feel like your best friend too. Being a photographer who got their start wedding planning, weddings are my life. When it was time for my OWN wedding I knew that my number one priority was stellar photographs. We had both Elizabeth and John for our wedding in November 2010 and they were absolutely amazing. They were extremely nice and very professional. It was great to have two professional photographers for such a reasonable price (not one photographer and one assistant like many others offer). For our portraits of us and the bridal party, while everyone was looking at Elizabeth for pictures, John was in the background taking shots from other angles. He also took some candid photos while we weren't paying attention to him that turned out really well. At the reception it was great to have both of them floating around to capture pictures of everyone and to have pictures from two different angles. Some of my friends who had different photographers for their wedding complained that the photographer took so many pictures but only gave them a fraction of what they took. With Elizabeth and John, I didn't feel like anything was missing. If we wanted a specific picture they made sure they got it. They had great ideas for the best places to take pictures that I would have never thought of. We got so many pictures back and they were all amazing. We received so many compliments on them. They even impressed my mother-in-law, which is nearly impossible. They were so down to earth and I was so comfortable around them and in front of the camera. It was great that they were husband and wife, I think it made our day that much more special. It was so cute to see them holding hands while they were walking to different locations. I only wish I got a picture of it. My husband and I were moving overseas less than 2 weeks after our wedding and Elizabeth and John worked all through the week of thanksgiving to get our pictures back to us before we left. I have absolutely no regrets about hiring them and would definitely recommend them. You really won't find another two photographers this good for such a good price.

I can not say enough good things about Elizabeth and John. When we began our hunt for our wedding photographers, I knew exactly what I wanted, and when I came across the portfolio of Craig Photography - it was love at first sight!

To us, our wedding photographs were one of the most important parts of out event, allowing us to relive the experience time and again. This was by far our biggest priority.

To speak about their work, I could not be more grateful for the amazing gift that we were given from the Craigs in having captured our day in such a beautiful way.

As for the photographers themselves, they have the utmost professionalism and Elizabeth's true sincerity makes her more like a friend than a vendor. Elizabeth and John were great about adjusting their package to meet our needs. Our wedding events took place over two days, and they met with us before to go over all the details and to discuss what kinds of shots we wanted. They were fun to be around and made us feel relaxed and comfortable on our big day. Their turnaround time for putting pictures online for ordering and then sending us our dvd and pictures was great, and they posted previews online by the time we were on our honeymoon! Loved working with them and definitely recommend them to brides---we got a great combination of close, intimate shots and wider, scenic shots to capture our day!

I cannot come up with enough praise of positive words to describe our entire experience of working with John & Elizabeth Craig for our wedding photography. They were amazing and the end result photos still bring both a smile and tear to my eye everytime I look at them. Elizabeth was always so responsive to all my questions thoughout the planning process and I knew I was in the perfect hands the moment we met. Both her and John have such a fun and relaxing vibe to them that they totally put you at ease and you feel like you have been freinds with them forever by the end of the wedding expereince. Elizabeth and John were not only wonderful to work with, but they also provided us with the most amazing photos!!!! They captured the feelings, emotions and moments of the entire day in a way that can best be summed up by the frequent comment of “I really feel like we were there” that many of our friends (who weren’t there) made after seeing the slideshow of all the photos. I live in California so finding vendors in Pittsburgh was somewhat of a challenge. Thank God for Google. :) I won't admit the crazy amount of photographer websites I looked at in my search, but this to me was one of the most important vendors (as they were going to be documenting our memories for us). I was looking, for a lack of better words, for a photographer that did not have that “so posed” look in their photos. The photos in their blog stood out from most of the others as you could actually see the fun and excitement of the couple and their guests in their photos. They were so artistic and creative, but NOT “too artsy” that you miss the mark and don’t really capture the couple and their day. Needless to say, I felt the same about our photos. I love our photos!!! When I look at them I go right back to our wedding day like I’m reliving it. Their service was also amazing in that prior to our wedding they made the arrangements, payments and pre-meeting logistical stuff so easy. Elizabeth even came to our hotel for the pre-meet a couple months prior as Dave and I were in town for only a couple days to do all the final arrangements and pre-meets with our vendors. Her flexibility made it so much easier on us. Following the ceremony they had a few photos and a little video posted within a couple days. They also had all of our photos posted on Pictage that first week (so no waiting at allll). Within two weeks we had our photos on disc and they even included another disc with a video slideshow which was awesome. (&& a few prints were an added bonus). We had a West coast reception a couple weeks after our East coast ceremony and b/c of their quickness, we were able to display a slideshow of all the photos for our guests, which people loved!!! In fact, they loved it so much that we had to pull them away at times to get back to the dance floor. :) Thank you Elizabeth and John!!!! You two rocked!!!!!

If you are looking for the best- you have found it with John and Elizabeth! We got the most expensive package which came with engagement session and printing rights, full day of wedding day coverage and printing rights for all of those as well, 2 parent albums, an album for ourselves, and a few free pictures. The really nice thing about these two is that you can get your pictures printed anywhere, and they will still look professional because they have already been professionally edited by Elizabeth. These two are really good at getting people to open up tot he camera, my husband and I are both really shy, but you wouldn't be able to tell in the pictures! The quality is amazing, and we have received so many compliments. They are very receptive and will follow your lead if there are certain pictures that you want to be taken. All you have to do is ask. We very much enjoyed working with John and Elizabeth,and we ended up with a ton of pictures. If you are looking for the types of pictures that every girl dreams about, go with these two, hands down!

Elizabeth and John are absolutely amazing photographers! On our wedding day, Elizabeth helped all 6 guys pin the roses on their tuxes (not even in the job description of a photographer). She saw a need and just filled it! They are very flexible and go with the flow of the day. It rained the entire day our wedding (imagine that in Pittsburgh). We ended up getting all indoor photos. This greatly showed their experience as we have phenomenal pictures. I wouldn't trade our pictures for sunny day pictures! They went around Oxford Centre and just became really creative in their picture taking. It was really neat to experience as I'm sure they had to think a little harder than usual about how to get amazing pictures. I am positive that not just any photographer could have captured our day the way that they did! I would recommend them to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!

Elizabeth and John were great to work with, and are just fun and personable in general. I'm a bit of a camera nut, and they were very patient talking through the questions I had about their gear before we even hired them, and, by our wedding day, they were shooting on upgraded equipment with all the features I wanted. There was also the perfect amount of up front coordination-- enough to be confident they were on top of things, but not so much that it was a distraction from all the other planning. The same was true on our wedding day-- they were there to get all the important shots, but didn't get in the way of the actual festivities (to the point that even when a snafu with our seating plan didn't show them at a table, they never bothered anyone but just took care of getting food for themselves and we didn't even realize it until later). Having two shooters also insured we got all of the important shots. The pictures themselves came out nicely with a good variety of formal and candid shots. We were also happy that our package came with a disc of the high-res JPEG shots AND the actual RAW shots straight off the camera, which gives us maximum flexibility for the future.

I would 100% recommend Craig photography with no reservations at all. My husband and I both tend to be a little camera shy, but Elizabeth and John put us at ease immediately. We had a great time during the photo shoot on our wedding day. Elizabeth gave us good direction throughout without being intrusive at all. She was super efficient at organizing our family photos, and even voluntarily acted as a wedding coordinator when our outdoor ceremony had to be moved under cover. The best part: our photos are AMAZING! Our friends and family keep saying that they look like they belong in a magazine or as the photo that comes in the frame. John and Elizabeth are amazing photographers. They did such a wonderful job with our wedding. Everyone who sees our photos raves about them. From the time that they arrived in the morning, they put us at ease. During the ceremony and the reception, they were so inconspicuous, you couldn't even tell that they were there. During our photo session in between the church and the hall, they made great suggestions and kept everything moving. Fives across the board. They were so fantastic and professional to work with. They knew what shots would look great and because of that there are soo many pictures to choose from! I would HIGHLY recommend them to everyone, and I have! Everyone in my bridal party, who were also married previously, said how great Craig's photography is and how they were so much better than their own photography! Def. go with them!

All I have to say is WOW!!! Elizabeth and John were AWESOME!!! The pictures turned out amazing!!! I am so happy with them!! They were very professional and friendly, easy to get along with. They were easy going and kept the pictures coming!!! The shots they got are priceless!!! I HIGHLY recommend their services!! We are very pleased and will recommend them to ANYONE!! We love their video of our pictures that they put together!! They are just so wonderful!!!

I was so pleased with my recent photo session with Craig Photography! I was able to schedule a convenient date and the cost was excellent. I worked with Elizabeth only for this photo shoot and she was fabulous!! She is very professional, has a great eye for color and lighting, and was so much FUN to work with!! The pictures were so beautiful--she did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend Craig Photography for all of your photography needs.

Craig Photography did an exceptional job at our wedding.The pictures they took were absolutely breathtaking.They where extremely professional and worked well with all of our guests and family members.In addition to that their prices are very reasonable.I would highly recommend them for any wedding.

Elizabeth and John are amazing, talented, and highly recommended photographers. They took our engagement photos and are also photographing our wedding next year. They are very professional, but also make you feel very comfortable to be photographed. I have always felt that I'm not very photogenic, but Elizabeth and John brought out the beauty/hansdsome in us and our photos are ones that we will love for a lifetime.
