Couldn’t be happier with Eliza!
Eliza did my hair/makeup for both my wedding and rehearsal dinner. She was AMAZING and I couldn’t have been happier with how it turned out. She was so detailed and organized, and truly listened to what I wanted and executed it so beautifully. She also brought a calming vibe to the morning of the wedding and made me feel at ease which was much needed on your wedding day. I highly recommend Eliza — her work is unparalleled, but she is also just such a lovely and kind person! -

Consider yourself in the very best hands if you are lucky enough to have Eliza work her magic on your hair and makeup for a special event! Eliza and her team came to the air bnb I was staying at in San Francisco for my son's wedding in Golden Gate Park. She did my hair and makeup, my cousin's hair and makeup, and my mom's and a bridesmaid's makeup and the groom's grooming. Her communication was excellent; we had a video chat prior to the event so we could get to know each other and she could see me, and she arrived exactly on time, was professional, extremely friendly, got along beautifully with a diverse crowd (the groomsmen were all staying with us) and most importantly, did a GORGEOUS job! She is an artist and hair and faces are her canvasses. She listened to any wishes we had and when my cousin and I got back from the wedding at 1:30 in the morning we both looked in the mirror and commented that our makeup looked just as fresh as when it had been applied many hours before! I will 100% call her again for any future events and I'm also planning on scheduling a makeup lesson with her. She's a joy to work with! -

Amazing overall experience with Eliza!!
Eliza did an AMAZING job with my hair & makeup for my wedding, from the trial to the day of she was professional, prepared, and so fun to work with! She is very personable and has a great personality to go along with her outstanding work. She is experienced and intuitive, which make for a great combination. She and her team did my mom's, sister's and matron of honor's hair and makeup as well, and also did a wonderful job with them and they really enjoyed their time getting ready as well. I felt like an actual Hollywood movie star on my special day, and I can't even begin to count the amount of compliments I received. You will not regret hiring Eliza, she is fabulous! -

Best hair and makeup artist you will ever find!
Wow wow wow!!! That’s how amazed I am with Eliza. I booked her for my wedding this past weekend and I literally have never felt more beautiful in my entire life! Eliza and her team WILL make you look absolutely stunning for your special day as well as all of your bridesmaids and loved ones! Words cannot express how much she meant to me that day. Not only is she super talented at what she does, but she is totally there to support you emotionally as well. I purchased the package for her to stay with me all day, and boy was it worth it! She will have you camera ready at all times ladies! I highly highly recommend her! She even has touch up kits for you and whoever else wants one! She has so many cute and fun colors to choose from too! She also did my husband’s grooming, and even he was raving about how good he looked. And I have never heard him say he liked how his skin looked, ever. She really takes the time to listen to exactly what you want and also gives great ideas and suggestions. I really can’t thank her enough for how special she made my day. -

I cannot rave about Eliza and her services enough. After I initially reached out to Eliza in May of 2021 she scheduled a phone call with me, which was unique compared to other vendors. Others just sent me a contract without any questions or conversations. The phone call gave us a chance to chat about my vision and to see if working together would be a good fit. After the phone call, I quickly signed the contract for a bridal trial and for hair and makeup services for my November 2021 wedding.
Eliza always responded very quickly to my emails and provided so much detailed information about her services.
I went to my trial appointment in August at her home studio, which is beautiful and super organized. I am so happy I did the bridal trial because it gave me time to adjust before the big day.
Leading up to the wedding, I was a bit nervous and added the “stay half day” option (which I highly recommend). I also purchased a lipstick/gloss kit from her so I could have it for touch ups later int the day, which I now wear almost every day. My wedding day could not have been any better, and Eliza played a part in that. Eliza created a mini studio in my hotel room, and I felt special the entire time. My hair and makeup turned out even better than I could have imagined. Also, I am so happy that she stayed with my up until the ceremony, providing touch ups during photos, even helping me with my veil during photos – she went above and beyond just helping with my hair and makeup. She was very behind the scenes, but her presence was noticed and appreciated by everyone including my family and my now husband.
I cannot recommend Eliza enough and hope that I have special event in the future that I will need hair and makeup services so I can reach back out to her! -

When planning a wedding, you deal with a LOT of vendors. It is zero exaggeration to say that working with Eliza was by FAR the easiest, most professional, and most efficient. Everything from the scheduling, to our call, to the trial, to the day-of-wedding application itself was an absolute breeze. I WISH I had more occasions to get my makeup professionally done, because working with Eliza was so soothing.
Eliza listened to my inspiration and concerns, and I was delighted with my final look, and that included pivoting on the day-of because the weather did a complete 180. We planned to work on toning down any redness because I was worried it was going to be too HOT. Instead, of course, it rained and my skin needs were abruptly different. My makeup felt amazing, my hair stayed up and styled through the night, and the enormous dahlia Eliza pinned in never budged.
I truly cannot say enough good things about Eliza. Your search for professional makeup is OVER. -

Complete professional experience with the highest endorsement! Eliza and team are incredibly talented, friendly and excellent communicators! I attribute the ease of my wedding day to her presence and the contributions to a relaxed and enjoyable time getting ready were a gift I didn’t know I needed. High quality products, on trend style and stunning high end look and feel!! If you are on the fence about hiring vs doing yourself, she is a PRO and so worth it!
Additionally she stayed after the photographer arrived and completed shooting the first look and family pictures to provide final touch ups and a great pep talk. I couldn’t recommend adding Eliza to your wedding day, event or photo shoot more! -

I've worked with Eliza on two occasions - once for our engagement photo shoot and again for our wedding. When I went searching, I was specifically looking for someone who did both women's hair and makeup as well as men's grooming since both occasions would require my husband and I to look our best. I'm so glad that we met and were able to work with Eliza. She's a true artist and was great to collaborate with. She was able to take my inarticulate vision for both our engagement shoot and our wedding (which we booked her for based on our positive experience from the shoot) and turn them into reality. Her work is beautiful and made me feel like my best self. She's warm and wonderful to spend time with, and the additional artists she brought in for our wedding were much the same. I would highly recommend Eliza to anyone looking for a makeup artist or hair stylist for any event. -
Hannah Sent on 09/19/2018Eliza and her team were absolutely amazing and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. Working with Eliza was entirely stress-free; she is extremely professional and organized and I never worried for a minute that things wouldn't go smoothly. She reached out to the other vendors before the wedding to make sure everyone was on the same page about the schedule and she sent me a detailed schedule with everyone's start time. Eliza and her team were amazingly efficient without compromising quality in the slightest. We had six bridesmaids and two moms getting hair and make-up done before photos started at 1:30. Eliza and her team were right on time in the morning, did an incredible job with everyone's look, and we were all ready to go when the photos started!
I was also thrilled with how my hair and makeup looked. I did a hair and makeup trial a couple weeks before the wedding at Eliza's beautiful home studio. Eliza did an updo with clip-in extensions (I brought my own), and it looked incredible. A couple of hairs got loose in the hours after the trial and, when I mentioned this to Eliza, she knew exactly how to fix it. My hair stayed completely intact on my wedding day and looked great even after hours of dancing. I couldn't have been happier!
Extra bonus, if you play show tunes while getting ready, Eliza just might sing along with you :) -

I live in New York and Eliza was super flexible on dates for the trial and coordinated around my visit. Throughout the entire process, she listened to my vision (offered her own professional input which was helpful) and I couldn't have been happier with my look on my wedding day. Her products are also amazing. There were a few tears during the day and my makeup didn't budge. Nor did my eyes look puffy or red. She also did my mom's hair and makeup and made her feel (and look!) gorgeous. Everyone looked like the prettiest versions of themselves without being overdone. Thank you Eliza!! -

My wedding party all felt great about their looks too; she made people getting hair or make-up done for the first time so comfortable, even my junior bridesmaids, ages 10 and 11, who she made look special for the occasion but still like little girls. The best part about Eliza is how easy-going and kind she is. She was with me all day on the day of my wedding, and her personality makes her feel like an instant friend. She's engaged but not intrusive. It really made our day to have Eliza with us and looking out for us.
