The entire Elite team is A+! I first used them for a company holiday party in 2024. They were so easy to work with, and our employees raved about the food, that my husband and I decided to hire them for our wedding.
Melissa, John, and Brooke couldn't have been more helpful. From the tasting with our parents to the small details we wouldn't have thought of, they ensured we stayed on track to have the best night ever. For our cocktail hour and dinner, they helped incorporate different food items that represent where we're from (Puerto Rico).
In addition to the amazing catering, they helped coordinate the entire day. Brooke ensured that all our vendors were up to date on the schedule and that everything proceeded seamlessly. From tent and table/chair delivery to cleaning up at the end of the night, the entire Elite team made our night worry-free.
We would 100% recommend them, and will most likely use them again for both personal and corporate events in the future! -

Our wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without the amazing team behind our catering from Elite Events Catering. From start to finish, they were so flexible, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making sure the food and drinks reflected us as a couple.
We had some pretty specific ideas and requests—both with our menu and our drink selections—and they never once made us feel limited or boxed into a package. Instead, they worked closely with us to create something that felt completely personal and unique. Whether it was crafting custom cocktails, offering alternatives for dietary restrictions, or adjusting portion styles to fit our vision, they handled everything with patience, creativity, and professionalism.
The food and drinks were incredible—our guests are still talking about it! But beyond the taste, it was the care and attention to detail that really stood out. We felt so supported throughout the process, and on the big day, everything was flawless.

Melissa is a class act!!! Such an amazing company. We did not have an easy venue in terms of set up full kitchen etc. and Melissa and her team didn’t complain and made the most delicious food! We got so many compliments & truly she is so thoughtful. Would use many many more times!! -

Melissa and the team at Elite Events were so great to work with from start to finish. They were responsive, helpful and gave practical insight into how to make our dreams come true. They were not only open to our ideas, but would give suggestions based on their years of experience on how to perfectly curate a menu and drinks for our wedding. We did a tasting as well, which was an awesome private experience with the full effect of what our guests would be served on that day. My wife and I chose Elite due to the strong recommendation from several other vendors and their initial pricing and customer service. Wow did we make the right choice. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Every aspect was planned and executed to perfection. The best service, best food (definitely the best food we have ever been served at a wedding), and incredibly accommodating. Elite began as our caterers, but in the end they were our primary vendor. They provided and setup tables, linens, place setting, chairs, the dancefloor, and couches all to perfection. Not to mention even coordinating a late-night snack with Chick-fil-a. -

We got married at the Tampa River Center in October and one of the recommended vendors was Elite Catering. We knew from the 1st phone call that they were going to cater our wedding as Terri was absolutely amazing and communicated so well to allow us to be confident that we were going to have an amazing experience. Her professionalism and timeliness made figuring out our the perfect catering setup a breeze! Their performance during our wedding was absolutely perfect and all of our guests raved about the food (especially the short rib ravioli). I highly recommend booking with Elite if you're looking for a reliable caterer that handles the job with ease! -

We cannot recommend Elite Events Catering enough! Melissa and her team executed our dream menu for our wedding and our guests are still raving about their incredibly well executed dishes.
We've been to many weddings and for ours, we wanted to step away from the typical "quantity rarely begets quality" wedding catering experience. It takes a truly gifted chef and manager to turn out entrees in quantity without compromising quality. And Elite Events delivered beyond expectations.
To say that our reception food was the best food we had at any wedding would still be an understatement. Nothing was amiss, from the freshness of the ingredients, to the complexity of recipes, to the presentation and the service. Not to mention that Melissa was a spectacular partner during the planning process. She understood our vision, followed up without fail and executed to perfection.

We hired Elite Catering for our wedding at The Orlo House & Ballroom in March 2023 and only have good things to say! Melissa and John were so personable since we first met them at our food tasting. The food and presentation were delicious, and we felt so confident in hiring them to take care of our wedding and guests after this tasting. Melissa was truly amazing throughout the wedding planning process and was so quick and timely in her responses and accommodating whenever needed. She even handled all our table/linen/chair rentals with Kate and Ryan as they work with them often which made everything so much easier.
Melissa and John made our wedding dreams become a reality and all our guests were so impressed with the food, presentation of the food and drinks, as well as the specialty drinks their bartenders made, and the cocktail hour. We truly loved working with his company and would highly recommend them to everyone!

Elite Catering Events are simply the best in every way! Melissa and John are the highest tier of human. They took away all the stress and anxiety of wedding planning and replaced it with fun and excitement. I had the best time at my wedding, knowing everything was in its right place and everyone was enjoying themselves.
All our guests were raving about how great the food was and how magical the venue and reception were! I could not have achieved any of it without Melissa and John's devoted attention and care. They really will change your life for the best! I cannot recommend them enough. -

Elizabeth Sent on 09/07/2014Melissa and her team created a truly breathtaking wedding reception and dinner. It was in an independent league of professionalism, execution, beauty and deliciousness. Throughout the whole planning process Melissa always had great suggestions and modifications from her years of experience. She has an eye for design and "flow" and can coordinate details with multiple vendors. She was also very willing to "make happen" the items that were important to me. She took all my emails and phone calls to heart to make sure it was exactly like I envisioned. It ultimately was more than I envisioned. Her artistic presentation impressed all the guests and the venue the wedding was held at is looking to make her company "the preferred caterer" for future events. The food was delicious and served with 4-star finesse. Her personalized drink station (cucumber-basil gimlets) were a hit with the guests in the warm weather. I can't recommend her highly enough for a wedding, or any event, you are planning. Top-notch! -

Food was beautiful and delicious. Buffet service was fast, quiet and clean. We had several chefs in attendance, and they were all very impressed by the food. Feeding 100+ people can be a logistical nightmare. Elite handled every bit from planning, to plating and clean up with style and grace. Worth every penny, and certainly not the most expensive option in the Tampa Bay area. Kinda wish we could get married again just to experience the food again!
