I had a wonderful experience with Elite. I rented chivari chairs, uplighting, and pipe and drape from them. Everything looked wonderful! It was all setup early which was an added plus. I worked with Kaitlin to facilitate all of our planning needs. She was very easy to work with and provided thoughtful suggestions. I would definitely recommend.

We used Elite for our DJ and chivari chairs and loved it all! Kaitlin helped us plan the night's schedule and made sure the DJ knew it all in advance so we could relax and enjoy ourselves. DJ Jordan played the best mix of songs, took requests, read the crowd, and had everyone dancing all night long! He also kept us on time with toasts, garter and bouquet tosses, first dances, and more! The mahogany chivari chairs looked beautiful in our venue and Elite coordinated with them specifically so we didn't have to be the middle men! 10 out of 10 - would recommend!!!

We used Elite Entertainment for our backdrop behind our bridal party table, our monogram, and we got some uplighting for behind our backdrop as well. They came to our reception venue the day before the wedding while we were decorating to set it up, which was super nice so that we could see everything all put together ahead of time. It looked awesome and we got many compliments on it! Then, they came the night of the reception as soon as it was over to take it down.

Elite Entertainment simply provided exactly what I wanted and beyond my expectation. I requested several services from Elite and every aspect/service was without flaw. I would recommend this company to any bride looking for a piece of mind. When I decided to make changes, they changed it without discussion. Our wedding had special cultural aspects that Elite catered to without pause. I am happy!

We used Elite Entertainment for a variety of wedding services- limo, DJ, chair covers, up lighting, backdrop, monogram, photo booth. Everything was wonderful. The people were so friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. The finished product of the reception venue was beautiful. The DJ did a great job and kept our guests having dun. The limo driver was the best and nicest we have ever seen! We can't say enough amazing things about Elite Entertainment- so thankful for them and their assistance in helping having the perfect wedding!

The service was wonderful! They were constantly striving to make my experience more personal, constantly making sure that all of my needs were met. The DJ was spot on with the music, the crowd loved it! The photobooth was a HUGE hit; it made the night! The lighting was beautiful and the transportation from our ceremony to our reception was clean, quick, and wonderful!

The DJ was dressed professionally, and he conducted himself in a professional matter. He played all the songs my daughter and her fiance asked him to. He helped to make the evening a success. The dance floor was never empty!

Elite is by far the best in the C-U area . we had them DJ as well as rented tablecloths, Runners, napkins,charger plates, and chiavari chairs. Everything was beautiful and great quality. The staff was always on time and setup everything we needed because we were not going to be there. I also want to say they are a very organized vendor, unlike other vendors we dealt with. They even have an online system to fill out info and this insured all of our special requests we're honored (They also double checked with me beforehand). They always got back to me right away with any questions we had. Overall we don't think our wedding could have been near as beautiful without the help of Ryan, Brook, Nick, and the rest of the staff at Elite Entertainment

I had heard great things about Elite Entertainment before I booked them, but what I heard was an understatement. Everything about Elite Entertainment was GREAT! They did everything they could to make our wedding day exactly the way we wanted it and they succeeded!

As we started to plan my daughter’s wedding we visited all the bridal shops in Champaign/Urbana. The last one we visited was Elite Bridal. The staff was so friendly and helpful. When we walked out my daughter said, “ I am buying my dress here”, even though she hadn’t found a dress. So after the amazing service we got at Elite Bridal we decided to try Elite Entertainment for the limo, DJ and chairs. Everyone we worked with at Elite Entertainment lived up to our expectations. Our space was transformed with all the uplighting and linens- AMAZING. And the DJ had everyone dancing into the wee hours of the morning. Thank you!!

Our wedding reception was amazing! We got so many compliments on how great everything looked from the chair covers to the uplighting. Everything went exactly as planned and the DJ did a great job keeping the party going until the end. From the moment we met first met with Ryan I knew we were in good hands. Everyone at Elite is so helpful, friendly, and professional. I would recommend Elite to anyone!

Elite made our wedding great! They were so flexible and patient with my requests. Jeff our DJ was excellent. We really can't say enough good about him. He was friendly and kept the dance floor full the whole night. Our limo driver was so courteous to all our guests. He was prompt and reliable. I would recomment elite 100%. Thanks for helping Sean and I enjoy our day and taking the worry and planning into your hands!

Phil Walsh from elite entertainment was OUTSTANDING!!! He was so helpful and patient with me lol he's an awesome MC also! He's just so much fun and he had all of our friends and family up and on the dance floor breaking it down like they knew how ;) the whole elite staff has been so helpful and accommodating since our fist meeting with them! I would definitely recommend them to anyone that would ask and couples who don't know of a good DJ around here.

We used Elite Entertainment for our DJ, chairs, lighting and backdrop for our head table at our wedding. I cannot recommend them enough; Ryan was extremely professional and helpful throughout the process, and everything looked exactly as we hoped it would the day of (if not better!). There were absolutely no problems with anything, and it was great not to have to worry about things going wrong! The DJ played only what we wanted him to, and the recommendations Ryan made for lighting/chairs/backdrops were perfect!

Elite Entertainment very easy to work with. They were always available to meet and easy to contact via phone and email. Ryan was very accommodating and ensured that all the details were planned to a T for the day of my wedding. We got our chairs, up lighting, limo, and DJ service through them and were happy with everything we got. The D.J. played all the songs we requested and kept the reception going with music, and kept to the detailed plan we had laid out ahead of time. You will not be disappointed with their services.

We had a great experience with Elite Entertainment.

We were very pleased with the DJ services provided. They were receptive to our requests and music tastes. Our DJ did a great job of keeping people out on the dance floor throughout the night.

We also rented chair covers for our venue and they looked wonderful, adding a great touch to our reception.

Overall we had a very positive experience with Elite Entertainment. They were professional throughout our planning process and on the day of our wedding. It was very comforting to know they were working behind the scenes and helping to make our day one to remember!

We used Elite for our table cloths, chair covers, uplighting, and DJ. They have a lot of experience and know how to make your event perfect. We worked with Ryan and he is very friendly and professional. He was always very prompt on getting back to us with any questions or concerns we had. Our DJ Matt was amazing as well. We had a unique situation, I am American and my husband is Indian so we wanted to incorporate both music from both of out cultures. Matt was able to blend both types very well and our dance floor was full all night! Elite did and absolutely amazing job! Everything was perfect! We could not have asked for anything better. We would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again if we have another event!

Elite Entertainment did an amazing job on our wedding. We used their DJ service, chair covers, up lighting and photo booth. The reception hall was unbelievably amazing and Elite set up and cleaned up and we didn't have to do a thing! The photo booth was awesome! I highly recommend. Our guests loved it and now we have pictures of everyone who attended. The DJ was wonderful. He played all of our requested songs and got everyone dancing. It was an all around amazing night. I also purchased my wedding dress from Elite Bridal and was extremely happy with the staff there as well. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is planning a wedding.

We just had Elite Entertainment DJ our wedding and they did an amazing job! The DJ, Matt was very flexible and made sure we were on the same page the whole night. We had an interesting mix of people and he was able to please everyone with the music!
I also had 2 friends perform my first dance song. Matt was a huge help when they realized they forgot the keyboard. He instantly downloaded a karaoke version that just had the base, it turned out great!
I would highly recommend using this company for DJing, Ryan was wonderful to work with, I couldn't have been happier!

Elite Entertainment was amazing to work with. Ryan worked with us via email, phone calls, and in person. I never once had any issues during the whole planning process. Having an onsite showroom helped us narrow down choices so much. We ended up getting our DJ services, uplighting, chair covers, linens, and projector screen through them. Our DJ, Jeff, was wonderful. He always consulted me before anything happened at the wedding (when dances were going to happen, if we were ready to cut the cake, etc.). We did have a slight issue with a few guest asking to turn the music up (some people may have had a few too many cocktails), but as soon as my husband went up to the booth, Jeff immediately turned it back to the normal volume and reassured us that the only people he would listen to would be him or "the bride". I'm so thankful we went with the best that Champaign Urbana offers. Book early- they fill up, and I guarantee that you will not be disappointed!

Ryan and Elite Entertainment was nothing but WONDERFUL!! Ryan met with us and discussed all of our options. He even showed us, before we made decisions, how everything would look. Throughout the whole time working with Elite Entertainment, we always felt that Ryan and everyone was listening to what we wanted and/or described. They never made us feel like our idea wasn't going to look good. If we did have trouble with an idea that we had created, Ryan would show was some other ideas that might interest us. I would STRONGLY suggest Ryan and Elite Entertainment. AMAZING!

I would highly recommend Elite Entertainment. Ryan was incredibly helpful with all of the pre-planning logistics. He responded to emails almost immediately! He is very knowledgeable and professional--it was great working with him. Our DJ was Jeff and he was exactly what we were looking for: not over-the-top but was able to get people on the dance floor and having fun.

I cannot say enough positive things about Ryan and his team at Elite Entertainment. My only regret is that I did not use more of their services. I used Elite Entertainment for chair cover rental with sash. Ryan met with us and helped us determine the right colors and materials. He took time to call and email throughout the months leading to our wedding and his team arrived, set up, and took down without any notice from anyone. The chair covers truly made our reception an elegant affair.
Brides and Grooms in Central Illinois book them. For everything. Book early. You won't regret it.

Wonderful, professional service. We would hands down recommend Elite Entertainment to anyone in the Champaign-Urbana area. We used them for chair covers, sashes, and DJ. They were very organized, the service was top of the line, and our DJ was absolutely fabulous. He kept EVERYONE (ages 21-80) out of the dance floor all night long.

AWESOME! I planned my wedding from 200 miles away and Ryan was nothing but incredibly helpful! Any time I sent an email I would get a response so quickly it was unbelievable. The communications were nothing but helpful, clear, and friendly! Also when I would randomly get the time to go to our wedding location I would email Ryan to set up an appointment and they were always able to accomidate us. As for our wedding, their DJ and Lighting services were incredible! Our DJ, Kai, was friendly, creative, and made our reception quite a party to remember. Our guests had so much fun and I recieved so many compliments about how fantastic the music was. We also utilized the up lighting and WOW did it set the mood in the room! The up lighting added that special touch to dress the evening up. All of their services were cost effective and simply perfection! If anyone has any sort of event, not just a wedding, I would recommend Elite Entertainment to them!

My mother and I worked with Ryan/Elite and we truly enjoyed it! Everyone there is absolutely wonderful to work with and they really make choosing the decor for the chairs, tables and lighting enjoyable. The reception hall looked amazing! AMAZING!!! Elite Entertainment was absolutely fabulous to work with for our reception. They get very involved in your wedding "vision" which I think is very important and helped out a lot. The music, introductions, and speeches were timed perfect. We also chose to do uplighting and have a lighted monogram in the background. When we went in for our first meeting with Ryan he set up a demo reception with our color lighting and linens so we could visualize it. The lighted monogram looked amazing too! I don't think that anyone else in this area does anything like that. Elite obviously puts so much thought into everything and is not a "cookie-cutter" DJ service. Ryan was even nice enough to give us other vendor suggestions. I highly recommend Elite Entertainment to anyone who wants a fun and flawless wedding.

Ryan at Elite Entertainment was absolutely amazing. I can't say enough. Not only was he extremely professional throughout the entire process - our guests had such an amazing time because he really knew how to handle the reception and played music that everyone could enjoy and dance to. Also, the uplighting and monogram were absolutely beautiful - exactly how we had pictured it!

During the initial meetings, I immediately knew we would be working with Elite Entertainment. They are extremely professional, super creative, and have a huge passion for what they do. They made the entire process from start to finish extremely easy. I felt like I could leave the Itinerary of the Reception in their hands and the day of the event, they handled it so well - I never felt like I didn't know what was going on - they were always one step ahead of us.

Again I can't say enough - I recommend everyone to go through Elite Entertainment - they truly are the best and that's what you want and need for the most important day of your life!

Ryan and his crew did a fantastic job with our wedding. From the excellent DJ service to the linens and chair covers, our reception was nothing short of amazing! We also had the room draped with white fabric which really made the pink uplighting shine! This was the first time that Elite has done something like that and we were excited to be the first. My husband and I chose Elite Entertainment for our wedding. We used their DJ, lighting and linen services. From the beginning of our wedding planning Elite Entertainment was so easy to work with. They helped us through each decision and made the planning so easy. Our reception was so beautiful with the lighting and linens (chair covers, sashes and table runners). The DJ was great and played everything we asked (and left out the songs we didnt want played). Guests of all ages had a blast! We would recommened to all friends and family.

We definitely recommend using Elite Entertainment. They provided our DJ service along with amazing lighting for our unique building. Ryan was great to work with during the whole planning process. He went out of his way to show us exactly what the uplighting would look like and he had many ideas and suggestions for things we weren’t sure about. Ryan was very helpful and had a lot of ideas to add to our reception details. He helped us decide what might look good as far as table coverings and was full of ideas for music selections. At the final meeting a few minor details were still needing decisions and we were at the point of having no more ideas left, Ryan was quick to step in and give us some thought and ideas to choose from which was perfect. The night was wonderful and the room looked beautiful and everyone had a great time dancing! My husband and I used Elite Entertainment for our DJ, linens, chair covers, and much more. We more more than pleased with the way the room looked and we were lucky enough to have Ryan as our DJ- he was excellent. Throughout the planning process, he was easy to work work, flexible (we lived in AZ at the time so much of our communication was done via email and family members in the IL area), and very accommodating. When we actually had a chance to stop in to the office, Ryan had a mock room set up with our colors, what the chair covers would look like, etc.

As an overwhelemed bride, it was nice to actually SEE what stuff looked like instead of just going off of pictures or what someone told me. At the actual reception, we asked Ryan to be laid back and while still being professional, the freedom to joke around with the audience- and he did just that. It was a nice balance of professionalism and being personable.

We have been to 2 weddings since our own with Elite as the DJ service- Ryan being the DJ at one, and another gentleman at the other- and even as a guest as someone else's wedding, we noticed the professionalism and just overall great quality of the company.

There is much more to say about Elite- bottom line, you won't be disappointed.

I used Elite for DJ, lighting, and chair covers for my wedding. They totally transformed my room and it was beautiful. I have people commenting my parents and I on how nice the wedding was. Brides--planning a wedding involves hours of stress and hundreds of decisions--but it is really your vendors who are responsible for seeing your dream wedding through. Hands down, Elite DJ can be trusted to execute your reception with perfection.

My experience with Elite was a million percent positive, with outstanding, prompt customer service throughout the entire planning process and flawless delivery at the reception. The guests are still raving about how much fun they had at our wedding reception and specifically how great the DJ was. Ryan was professional and did an awesome job keeping the flow of the night, allowing the groom and I to be able to sit back and enjoy the show! They adapted the music to the type of people out on the dance floor, keeping the early birds happy while they were dancing after dinner, and the late nighters going til the reception hall turned on the lights--all while steering clear of my picky No-No list. I'm telling you, there's nothing that kills the fun more than a DJ that doesn't play the songs the dancers are enjoying--and you would never have to worry about that happening with Elite!

We also used Elite for custom lighting and monogram. They did an excellent job helping me choose colors and worked with me to come up with an awesome custom monogram. The lights absolutely made the reception! I highly recommend using uplighting and a custom monogram to really WOW your guests!

Hands down, your entertainment can make or break your reception--Elite DJ can absolutely be trusted to give you the time of your life and make your night carefree and FUN!!!

Go with Elite DJ--as far as I am concerned, there isn't even a decision here. If you want to be positive your guests have a blast (and you can actually relax and enjoy yourself) you can rely on Elite to exceed your expectations!

They provided us with exquisite linens and chair covers to make our Dream Wedding Come true. It was a vision beyond visions.

The one service Elite provides that is the most valuable is the peace of mind. Every bride just wants someone to do what they want so they don't have to worry about it anymore- especially the day of. I forgot to update my order last minute and I realized it the day of the wedding! They rearranged things so I didn't even need it. As soon as they changed the room around to accommodate my mistake, it looked better than my original idea. So, ladies, you're in good hands.

Elite Entertainment was great to work with. My husband and I both enjoy contra dancing, and many of our friends enjoy swing dancing, and Ryan, our DJ, was willing to work with us so that we could have both of those things! He was not at all obnoxious like some DJs, and played all the songs that we wanted and none of the songs that we did not want (and we had quite an extensive do not play list). All the special songs were in the right order and right on time. He was very professional and really cared about making sure our reception was just the way we wanted it.

They also provided the chairs and tablecloths for our reception. We went with the Chiavari chairs. The reception hall looked amazing and elegant! I highly recommend the Chiavari chairs. They are much nicer than chair covers and are the same price.

While Elite Entertainment is a little expensive for central Illinois, you get what you pay for, and it is still much less expensive than a Chicago reception. If you are having a wedding in the Urbana-Champaign area, I would highly recommend them.

Elite Entertainment provided us with uplighting, mongram, chair covers, and DJ service. Ryan worked with us through email and even met us at our reception location to discuss our reception. Our emails were answered within 24 hours. Ryan and his team worked with us on the design process of our monogram. We were able to provide examples and a vision. Our monogram turned out better than we could ever have expected. Ryan did a great job DJing our reception. He played a variety of music that kept our guests on the floor all night! The best thing about Elite Entertainment is we did not have to worry about the order or schedule of events at the reception, Ryan was in charge of that and made it a fun and stress free day for us. Thank you for helping make our wedding day fantastic. Our reception room looked amazing and your DJing was exceptional!

Dj was very professional when we made our time line and the photographers took a little long he came up with a plan to get back on track and made the night less stressful.

I was really pleased with Elite Entertainment. We got chair covers with them and also used their DJ service. The DJ was fun, and pretty much played all the songs we wanted. There were a few song mix ups, but that was very minor in the whole scheme of things.

This DJ was very nice and professional. He does have a lot of experience in this business and I trusted him with being able to play some specific songs that meant a lot to me and my husband at our wedding reception. Although most of them were played, some of the milestone song selections ( e.g. the wedding party entrance ) were not the songs we had asked for. My husband and I feel that if for some reason they were not available to download, then the DJ should have notified us prior to the actual reception. There was obviously some kind of lack of communication and I wasn't pleased with that, but for the most part the service was very good.

We were very pleased. Jordan did a nice job DJ'ing. The photo booth was a HUGE hit. We are thrilled we did the memory book... Looking at the pictures is a great reminder of how much fun people had at our wedding.

Elite was wonderful in the sense that you can take care of a lot wedding necessities in one place! The online portal was also super helpful in planning and organizing information. The chivari chairs, lighting, and photobooth were a wonderful additional to our wedding. Our DJ provided good music and we had an awesome party. Our only complaint was that we felt we didn't have enough personalization for our day with the DJ (despite requests to meet with the DJ prior to the wedding) and at times some of the special moments felt rushed. We felt like had we had the opportunity to meet and discuss things prior with the DJ things would have gone smoother the day of the wedding.

Terrible - screwed us over in covid 19 pandemic

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM! We had booked Elite Entertainment for DJ and photo booth services for a wedding reception because I had bought my dress and the bridesmaid dresses with Elite Bridal (THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST) and had discounts . However, things didn't go as planned. We had to reschedule our reception due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Also my husband is in the military and had travel restrictions on him as well. When we went to change the date to a few months later Elite Entertainment was adjustable and understanding. However, later on we ended up having to cancel the reception all together because COVID 19 did not get any better and the military was not letting my husband travel so we could not make it - we do not live in Illinois but choose Champagin Urbana area for a reception due to family being in the area. I called Elite Entertainment to cancel over the phone. Ryan Mennenga, the manager was so RUDE!!!!!!!!!!! I explained that due to the pandemic and the military's response we were no longer able to have our reception and we would like a refund for the $1,100 deposit that was paid already . RYAN WOULD NOT GIVE US A REFUND!!!!!!!!! He said he could only give us a credit that could be used in a year's time. I explained that my husband was going to be deployed and won't be in the states next summer and Ryan's response was "Well that is not our problem. Every situation is different and you signed a contract with us and we have to follow what the contract says" I asked for a copy of the contract and he said sure I will email you - I never got that email. My mother-in-law even called since the deposit was on their card and Ryan was even rude to her and wouldn't listen to her at all! After about a week of not receiving the email I followed up to get a copy of the signed contract and he ignored my email and never sent it. I am not even sure we signed a contract when we booked them!!!! Elite Entertainment was the only vendor that didn't give us a refund for our deposits. All the other vendors understood that we were canceling due to circumstances that were out of anybody's hands. Ryan at Elite Entertainment said that since we canceled on them and they didn't cancel they can't give us refund because they could have still DJ for a wedding. Umm... how are you going to have a wedding reception when the groom can't make it due to unforeseeable circumstances! And besides if my husband traveled he would have lost his job... SO RIDICULOUS AND RUDE!!! They appear to be great when you first talk to them but heaven forbid something happens that you can't control and you will get screwed over! Go to Elite Bridal for your dress/bridesmaids but do not get sucked into booking Elite Entertainment because of the discounts they give you after going to Elite Bridal. They are rude and don't care what your situation is - especially when it is out of your hands. I wish I could give them less than one star

The photo booth went down for more than one hour and Ryan did not make good on any of his promises! Very disappointed!

The D.J. was one of the worst I have ever experienced. Seemed like he was in his own little world. He screwed up both the introduction for the wedding party and the announcement for the slide show. He refused to play some songs we requested and picked some of the worst music and the most inopportune times. He simply did not listen and it seemed like he was both nervous and uninterested.
