Just what the doctor ordered on our Wedding Day!

When time is not on your side and you need your wedding invitations done with quality and professionalism with a commitment to a turning things around quickly, then you have come to the right place, ELITE Calligraphy. Genie was just what the doctor ordered and provided my wife and I with such comfort and help me calm my nerves with her personal touch.
She did our place cards for our tables and turned them around quickly. We would recommend Elite to any one and we have adopted Elite Calligraphy as our exclusive Design Consultant for all future events and have recommended her to many of our friends.

Elite Calligraphy and Genie Melkonian

Working with Genie Melkonian was a joy—her finished product was lovely and she was the consummate professional in all interactions. We decided last minute to have the wedding place cards professionally printed, and calling Genie was the best choice we made. She immediately took charge, offering to meet me that day, and laid out the whole process with incredible organization and precision. Her communications were timely and clear, her advice was thoughtful and personalized, and she readily accommodated some last-minute additions we needed to make. We can’t recommend Elite Calligraphy and Genie highly enough— her work is beautiful and doing business with her was a pleasure.

Stress Free Calligraphy

Genie was super helpful and professional! She addressed my daughter's wedding invitations, designed and printed the programs and helped us create unique place cards. I recently hired Genie of Elite Calligraphy to calligraphy the outer envelopes for our daughter’s bat mitzvah invitations. Genie is a true professional. She offers many fonts and has several different layout options and will try to match the style of your invitation. In addition, Genie provided etiquette suggestions and proofreading of our list, and delivered the envelopes in a very timely manner. We will be also be using Genie to create the seating cards and other table signs in the coming weeks. I would highly recommend Genie of Elite Calligraphy.

This service is amazing! My son-in-law had absolutely raved about Elite Calligraphy (his envelopes and invitations had looked fantastic), and I couldn't wait to reach out for her services. Genie is so great to work with, accommodating all of our requests, and willing to work quickly, as we had waited too long to order the invitations for my daughter's wedding! She is super nice! Genie provided information about addressing the envelopes that made us feel confident in the process. We can't recommend Elite Calligraphy and Genie highly enough!! You will be very happy! Genie has been a joy to work with every step of the way! Originally, I had hired her to do the calligraphy on my wedding invitation envelopes. The gold foil calligraphy added another level of beauty and elegance to our invitations. We received many compliments from friends and family.
Genie is now in the process of designing the buffet menu signs and seating chart signs for our wedding day. We cant wait to see the final product!

Genie did much more than just provide calligraphy services. She also gave great tips, advice and suggestions when it came to the structure and processes of the envelope, stamp placement, addressing etiquette, etc. She catches things that can be done better and walks you through it. Aside from that, the envelopes came out AMAZING! I'm so excited to send them out to our wedding guests. Great service all the way around. I highly recommend.

We were referred to Genie by the vendor we used for our wedding invitations. Her work is beautiful! She is a pleasure to work with. She worked to match the style of our invitations, and was very helpful in making sure the invitations were addressed properly. When we had some invitations returned due to people moving, Genie was able to produce new envelopes for us in a couple of days. Genie provides a very personalized service at an affordable price. I can't recommend her highly enough!

I would highly recommend Elite Calligraphy for any calligraphy work that you need done, whether it be for a wedding or different special occasion. I worked with Genie on my save the dates, wedding invitations and escort cards for my November wedding. She is very professional and her work always came out beautifully. She has many different design options so it more than easy to have a font and color in line with the rest of your invitation suite. She also knows her stuff when it comes to the proper etiquette for addresses and the like!

It was such a pleasure working with Genie, from Elite Calligraphy! She answered all of our etiquette questions and was extremely accommodating and professional. Genie printed all of our invitation and thank you card envelopes, our escort cards and table numbers. Genie is the best! We're local, so she met with us (with hundreds of style samples!) and helped us choose everything to make our invitations look amazing. My husband and I joke because he's a designer and has an eye for fonts/styles and he and Genie had to talk me into going with a different style than I initially chose because they knew it would look way better -- and it did! They really came out perfect. Genie was super responsive, and was eager to help us make our guest lists, and show us the right way to format everything. She was also really flexible about changes -- adding invitations and escort cards at the last minute. She was a calming presence and worked hard to make this something I didn't have to stress about. I'm so glad I found her because 1. I have terrible handwriting and 2. It was awesome to trust someone to pull together the last details to really reflect the style of our wedding. It's not super costly, but it can be an unexpected expense (like it was for me) but trust me, you save yourself so much work and the final product is incredible (our friends are still blown away by the invitations -- and some of our wedding guests actually kept their escort cards because they were so beautiful).

Genie is completely dependable, artistic, creative, and responsive. She will do whatever you like with style and punctuality. I had designed a Wedding Guest Scavenger Hunt sheet for guests to find each other's commonalities. Her execution of my vision was way beyond expectations. Working with Genie and Elite Calligraphy was such a pleasure! Prior to meeting Genie she provided a great amount of information on her website to prepare myself with the correct materials and formal proper language for invitations. She provided worksheets which I used to educate myself about formal invitation styles and they were super helpful to prepare for our initial meeting. Our first meeting was great and we went through each of my envelopes one by one correcting any issues. The best part is through the process I became actually interested to learn about the protocol with formal invitations and Genie was a great and patient teacher. Much of the protocol I still remember and use today with my friend's weddings.
We had about 2-3 more drafts overall and she was amazing helping me pick out a custom font. The envelopes were finished much faster than I thought which was great! When I received them I just melted, they looked fantastic! The ink and font were so rich and elegant it was just beautiful. I couldn't wait to to send them but at the same time they were so beautiful I didn't want to part with them. I loved Elite Calligraphy and you will too! :)

I was stumped on what to do about our wedding invites. I really did not want to pay for a calligrapher but I also wanted our invites to look nice. A few Google searches later I came across Elite Calligraphy and was blown away. I met with Genie in person seeing as we coincidentally lived near one another (though I am sure interacting online would have been just as painless). She made the whole process so easy! She showed me tons of beautiful fonts, which made choosing a style a breeze. Within just a few short weeks we had our invites back with all of the names and addresses printed beautifully. Elite Calligraphy was recommended to me from a friend who used their envelope addressing services for her wedding. I was a little hesitant because we hadn't budgeted for a calligrapher. After the price quote we received for around 75 invitations and meeting with Genie, we were pleasantly surprised! Genie is a professional, detail-oriented woman who took the time to answer all our questions, gave us suggestions when we asked and was very responsive to my emails if I had questions after our meeting. It was one less detail in the wedding-planning process that we didn't have to worry about. Our envelopes came out perfect! We even went back to Elite for our personalized table numbers! I would highly recommend contacting Elite Calligraphy for your printing & calligraphy needs.

What a can I say about Elite Calligraphy. I found Genie's company online and I was a little nervous at first because I have never done anything online. When I spoke to her on the phone she was friendly and when I met her in person she was awesome.

Genie did our outer envelopes, place and seating cards and our returned address envelopes for our rsvp cards. She matched the color and calligraphy to our invitations. Her pricing is reasonable, she work with your budget and her turn around time is great. She reminded me of things I did not think about. E.g. returned address for the invitation.
Genie professionalism and quality of work exceeded my expectation and she gave me great advise. My friends and family called and text me about how great they look.
I will definitely recommend Elite Calligraphy to everyone!!!

My name is Joe and I am the Father of the Bride. I took on the role of the invitations to take some stress off our daughter. I did a google search and up came Elite Calligraphy. I started searching for the types of invitations they have and the price and I found it to be very inexpensive but needed to meet the owner in person to make sure the quality was excellent. I met Genie Melkonian, the owner, and she was extremely professional and had many samples to show me. I got a late start on this process and had less than 2 months until the wedding. Genie assured I would get the invitations within a week and delivered in less time with quality and with cost effectiveness. When it came time to deliver the table assignment cards, the same quality was produced. I have a son getting married in 2015 and will use her again. Thank you Genie!

Genie was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. The digital calligraphy came out beautifully for our invite envelops and she had a very fast turn around time. She gave me great tips on invitation assembly and was very knowledgeable and professional. In very short notice (within a week of leaving for the wedding), I also went back to Elite Calligraphy for escort cards. Genie was excellent - she detailed out costs, we worked through indicating meal choices on escort cards in a elegant way, and tying in our wedding theme. Again, she quickly produced cards and we met for product hand off. They were perfect! I would highly recommend Elite Calligraphy!

I looked around quite a bit to find a calligrapher to do the envelopes for our invitations which we had purchased on wedding paper divas. I recently worked with Genie to address our wedding envelopes. We splurged a bit on our Vera Wang invitations, so when it came to addressing them, we wanted something that would look beautiful and not break the bank. Genie is incredibly easy to work with. She responded to emails very quickly, was very professional, and the turn around time was less than a week! I am very happy with how our envelopes turned out. Genie of Elite Calligraphy was fabulous to work with and provided a superior quality product. We chose digital calligraphy because my fiance wanted the style to be uniform and I wanted the classic romatic look of handwritten calligraphy. The choice also ended up being very convenient for timing and turn around, as they turned our save the dates and invitations around in a matter of days. We contacted Genie at the last minute when we found out our calligrapher went on vacation and would be unable to do our place cards! She saved the day! Genie did a great job and accommodated our order with a quick turn around process. She perfectly matched the color and font we used on our invitations. She was very detail-oriented and called me to confirm unique spellings of last names. Genie kept us informed of the project schedule and communicated well through e-mail.

I would not hesitate to recommend Genie, even for brides who are very particular. Her services are a great alternative to hand-printed calligraphy. My invitations were addressed by hand, and I thought the printed version would be inferior- but they looked just as great. Genie delivers a product that is professional and can't be duplicated at home! Genie's services were a great value and she was wonderful to work with!

I can't say enough about Genie and the job she did for us!!! I first contacted Genie to address the envelopes for my wedding. We got together and she was so helpful in choosing the style and color of the calligraphy. Both me and my (now) husband were really impressed! My husband and I used Elite Calligraphy for our New Year’s Eve wedding this year. Genie provided us with customized calligraphy for our wedding invitations and also designed our wedding programs and our place cards. Her pricing is very reasonable and her products are top of the line. I was invited to a wedding two years before I got married and kept the invitation because I loved the calligraphy so much, it happened to be done by Genie at Elite Calligraphy. So when it was time for me to get married, I called up Genie! At Elite Calligraphy, the care and precision that goes into creating your product is obvious, but what surprised me was the outstanding customer service I received. Genie at Elite Calligraphy is awesome-a real joy to work with. She produced gorgeous and elegant envelopes and table escort cards for our hotel ballroom wedding. If you are stressed about sending out beautiful invitations and know that your handwriting just does not cut it, Genie is your lady! She's like a magical calligraphy fairy, and a very detail-oriented, cheerful one at that.

Her process is really simple~on her Web site, you choose which font(s) you'd like and send her your list of addresses and envelopes. She will then send you a detailed cost estimate and a sense of the timing to expect. Genie will contact you with any questions (she standardized my list so that all "Apartments" were spelled out) and she really understands how to work with frazzled brides!!

Genie is also gracious when taking your suggestions. Because some of our invitations were destined for British addresses, I found that the Genevieve font was much more legible for the postal code numbers than the Daniella font (which we did use for our Boston list). Genie took care of each set of addresses and the envelopes were mailed to us very promptly.

I can't thank Genie enough for working with me on my invitations. Brides know this can be a stressful process (I think I've even mentioned the word stress twice in this review!), and Elite Calligraphy takes a lot of the pressure away.

Genie designed our menu cards, table numbers and ceremony programs, and we couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. She spent time with us at the beginning going over various samples- very helpful since we weren't sure of the exact look we wanted, and we had the chance to edit the proofs a few times to ensure we were happy with the results. Our turnaround time was relatively tight, and Genie was able to work within our timetable. Overall a very good value!

Digital calligraphy is the way to go. Fast work and everything perfectly even ! I highly recommend!

We used Elite Calligraphy for our invitation and RSVP envelopes, and were very happy with the results! Genie was really nice to work with, and in our first meeting she was really helpful showing me all the various options we could choose from for fonts and colors. While you can tell she is very busy (sometimes we wouldn't hear back from her for a few days after emailing), she always came through and was happy to work with us on scheduling time to meet to deliver our latest envelopes. Overall I would definitely recommend working with Genie!

My experience with genie was great at first. She did the envelopes for my save the dates and custom made my invitations which were beautiful. However, she was supposed to do my escort cards and program and basically went MIA. I am now scrambling to find someone new.
