An absolute talent with kindness to match!

I reached out to Elias as I was planning a destination wedding abroad and loved his photography. Despite needing to move to the states for reasons out of our control, we was a consummate professional, continued to give us support and advice, and even recommended a peer local to us. He is extremely talented, kind, and generous without expectation. I would recommend him to capture any special event or wedding!

A perfect choice!

I cannot recommend Elias any more highly - his photos were perfectly lit, edited, with gorgeous natural light and he was so easy to work with. Some things that stood out in our process with Elias. He was great with communication - helping develop a rapport even before meeting in person. The day of and rehearsal dinner he helped us feel comfortable but also was able to blend in seamlessly and get beautiful pictures of both events.

In receiving our photos, my husband and I were thrilled! Having the ability to have both film and digital photographs was amazing and his galleries were easy to download and share with family/friends! Plus, everyone looked so stunning and natural.

I am so happy we went with Elias and now have his beautiful pictures to remember our wedding forever.

The Best! - Incredibly talented and a pleasure to work with!

We can't recommend Elias highly enough, he is absolute pleasure to work with and so incredible talented! I can feel quite self-conscious posing for photographs and it was actually the part I was least looking forward to about our day, but from the first call we had with Elias months before our wedding, we knew we had found the right photographer. Not only will he put you at total ease, he'll find a way to make you really enjoy it and have fun with the photos, and as a result you'll receive some stunning images! Elias knows how to bring the best out of people, how to work with the light and the surroundings, capturing perfect moments that will come to life each time you look back at them and you'll cherish them always. We're so glad we put the memories of our special day in Elias' hands - the results are incredible and we could't be happier!

Amazing Anniversary Session

I cannot recommend Elias enough! My husband and I booked an early anniversary session with Elias when we were visiting Santorini, and he was AMAZING! He was so incredibly helpful with recommendations from hair and makeup artists to what footwear to bring for the streets we'd be on. He was so personable, professional, and kind, and we could not possibly be any happier with the images he created for us! Next time we're abroad, we'll be booking with him again! Most stunning wedding photos ever!

We can't recommend Elias highly enough to anyone shopping around for a photographer. We feel incredibly lucky that our wedding planner connected us with him. We knew right away from looking at his portfolio that his work was stunning but when we saw our own photos we were absolutely blown away. We have received endless compliments from family and friends. Each one is better than the next and they are a true treasure. Not only is Elias incredibly talented but he is a joy to work with and made us feel at ease being in front of the camera. He made us laugh, knew all of the best spots, and he let us live our day organically and captured it beautifully. My favorite memory is changing into my comfy shoes and running through Oia after our ceremony at sunset to sneak in some shots at the blue domes. We had so much fun. And a super bonus - he sent our entire album of photos to us in less than 1 week which is unheard of during wedding season!

Elias is amazing; do yourself a favor and hire him!! We used Elias for our wedding in Santorini in May 2018 and we couldn't have been happier with our choice! From the beginning, Elias was super friendly, professional, and responsive. On our wedding day, he worked so hard to get us the very best pictures and was so easy (and fun!) to work with. We found ourselves laughing and really enjoying our time with him. We were really impressed with how focused he was on making the pictures just right; he was hustling the whole time and clearly always keeping his eye out for the best spots for pictures (we even pulled off the side of the road on to a field to nab some great pictures).

The final product was superb. His photos are absolutely stunning and he captured so many wonderful moments. Many of our friends have commented on the high quality of the photos. We would unequivocally recommend him as a photographer for a wedding or any other special events! We hope to have an opportunity to work with him again!

It has taken a while to finally stop looking at my pictures and put into words the absolute magic that Elia managed to capture on our most special weekend. Elia took on a big feet- 3 days, 300 people, and a whole lot of craziness. However, he created a sense of confidence and calmness in the way he spoke, and the way in which he worked. Even with what seemed like chaos, he helped Thanos and I feel like we were the only two people in the world. He was professional, helpful, and motivating. Moreover, his artistic eye and creativity was captured in every single photograph. The compliments we received continue to this day and we are so grateful to have every amazing memory at every glimpse of his work. Thank you Elia!

Choosing Elias as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding (in Meganisi, July 2017). I seriously don't think I could have stayed so calm on the day without him!

He was a real pleasure to be around, put us at ease, and his photos are the best images I've ever seen of myself and my husband (and our guests / venue / you name it...).

He was very accommodating to my request that we keep the 'posed shots' to a minimum, capturing stunning 'candid' moments, and he had a super calm manner when directing us, which removed any awkwardness. He was also extremely professional in teaming with our videographers. I'd been told that sometimes videographers and photographers can step on each others' toes, but they worked together seamlessly throughout.

We are so glad we found him. Everything was perfect, from our initial meeting via Skype, to coordinating on logistics and event plans (he photographed 3 days of events), to delivery of the final product.

Elias is simply amazing!! We only have good words for his breathtaking work that he has done during our elopement in Santorini but also on the person that he is. He is so professional but also super friendly and he makes you feel really comfortable. My husband and I never like to take pictures but we enjoyed so much our day with Elias. The photoshoot itself is actually part of the best memories we will cherish for ever because we had a blast working with him. We spent lots of time searching the web to find a professional photographer for our son’s baptism – it is a unique day and what we wanted was to capture the joy and the happiness of this day, so that we can look back and remember it forever. Elias’ work really stood out - we liked his style and approach and his photos looked so natural and fresh; it was exactly what we were looking for. So we arranged to meet him in person and that was it! We immediately connected – he is calm, friendly and fun and you can tell right away that he cares deeply about the outcome of his work, not only as a professional but also as a person. On top of that he is flexible and willing to accommodate all your wants and needs, while making you feel at ease by explaining all the little details.Our cooperation with Elias and his team was impeccable – everything was delivered on time, the photos were amazing, the ‘best-off’ slideshow was great and the album was so beautiful. Searching for a professional photographer for our daughter’s baptism was really important for us since you don’t have a second chance on the right picking as you cannot “replay” the event and the outcome (photos, albums) is something that you will carry along with the memories forever. The memories are for sure to be happy since it is one of the happiest moments in life, but a below expectations result could make you regret for your choice.
The key for our selection was to pick the photographer that we liked his work and was closer to what we had in our mind of the possible outcome from a day like this. So I spent lots of hours searching the web and looking photos from baptisms and weddings. When we found Elias portfolio and after seeing again and again his work, I was almost certain that his photos and style was the one that we were looking for. The last thing before the final selection was to convince my wife. That didn’t take long though, when she saw a piece of his work she agreed with me. Mr Kordelakos personal style was what we wanted and expected for this happy day.
To get the long story short we met him and discussed what we wanted from that day and what he could provide us. One thing that has to be made clear between you and your photographer is what you expect and what he can provide, in order to avoid misunderstandings and a bad result. He asked us to act as if he wasn’t there taking photos and that was exactly our point. We wanted the photos to capture the story and the feelings of our beloved from that day and Elias did this exactly.
To be honest when he delivered the photos we felt we had made the right choice since the result was better than we expected. I would personally recommend Elias for his gentle character, his professionalism during the event and his constant effort to take the best possible outcome from the shooting. If you want “Images that tell your story“ he is the right choice.

"A picture is worth more than a thousand words"

The outstanding work of Elias clearly speaks for itself! It's undescribable how he captured all the experienced emotions in all these pictures. Each Picture you look at from the preparation, the ceremony, the dinner and even to the party enables you to experience everything again. In Addition to that, we also received a wonderful Video, made out of the best Pictures of our wedding. And the Album we received is just incredibly gorgeous.
We just couldn't be happier with the beautiful pictures Elias did for us. We certainly recommend Elias Kordelakos Photography to anyone that is interested to have unforgettable moments catched in pictures.

Excellent photographer and a very kind and sweet person, we were so happy to have had Elias shoot our wedding in Athens, Greece in June 2015. His work is so natural and professional, he manages to capture the moments and emotions so well. We had an outdoor wedding ceremony and indoor wedding party - both very professional. The colours, the atmosphere, the feelings, the fun are all there in Elias's photos. What is more, Elias delivered an elegant wedding album - I can't help but stare at the photos! We would highly recommend him!

I guess the previous reviewers have already done a terrific job highlighting the excellence of Elias' services. Same applied to our wedding from the beginning -first impression is very important when choosing your wedding photographer- to the end (album delivery). Elias is at the same time the perfect organized professional (maybe his engineering background helps) but also acts as a caring friend, trying to relax you and make sure nothing is left to chance. All these without neglecting the artistic aspect which at the end of the day is what truly matters. One thing is for sure; by choosing Elias you don't have to worry about the photography of your wedding anymore. Elias thanks for capturing the essence of our wedding! Elias and his team were brilliant. I really want to keep it at that but I can't. Firstly, im a photographer so naturally, our wedding photos were amongst our highest priorities. I researched quite a bit and interviewed everyone via Skype. Its difficult to find someone you can connect to and trust when they are living half way across the world (My wife and I are from Toronto, Canada and wedding was in Chania, Crete (Greece)).

Elias was calm, cool, professional, very accommodating, knows what he's doing and saying, punctual, and so on. His rates are excellent and I found the value to be quite good, especially when comparing to the ridiculous amount of money photographers in Toronto charge. I had trust issues and did not want to pay someone too much money upfront when the service hasn't even been provided yet, and he was quick to accommodate.

All in all, you wont go wrong. He stayed well beyond his time allotted for our wedding (it was probably because we had quite the party and no one wanted it to end).

Planning our wedding in Greece from outside another country (Austria) was not an easy task. Even more challenging was finding the ideal photographer. That is because in Greece the overall quality of wedding photographers seems to be very high. But when we first visited Elias' website, we immediately saw, that his work even tops everything we've seen so far. His photography is just very special, beautiful in its aesthetics and meeting exactly the natural and "photojournalistic" style we were searching for. When we then had our first Skype chat, I also got to know a great, very friendly and winsome personality. Being a photographer myself, I know that this is too a very important aspect, after all it will be the person, that at your wedding will be right next to you during the most intimate moments. Unfortunately our first chance to meet in person was on the wedding day itself, but it didn't take long to convince us of his professionalism and even more important, of his openness and cheerfulness. The photos he then delivered where just amazing, absolutely fascinating. A fabulously beautiful artwork! Elias just managed to document our most memorable day in the most perfect way. Five stars all the way my friend!

We feel so very lucky to have found Elias for our pre-wedding photography! Elias was wonderful to work with right from the start. Elias was afraid that we may not be comfortable in front of the camera, so he proposed to have a short session with us at Athens to let us be familiar with the lens. And it helped us a lot for the shooting at Santorini. Elias was fun, professional, and creative. He was a master with lights, and really captured "us" in his photos. Throughout the photoshoot, we had so much fun and can't stop laughing. We were more than satisfied when we saw our photos in Santorini. We highly recommend Elias!!

My husband and I hired Elias for our honeymoon photo session in Santorini and Athens. Best decision ever! We wanted to try our best to capture the beauty of the island with us in the photo. We wanted more than taking our own photos. Elias made us feel at ease. My husband is not thrilled about taking photos and he had a good time. Elias was very good at making us laugh and was extremely professional. He even helped us carry some of our stuff in his bag. Very friendly photographer. We can tell that he was truly passionate about his work and photography. We did two photo sessions with Elias. The photos came out absolutely stunning for both sessions. We loved it.

it was a pleasure working with Elias. He is very hard-working and super nice. In the end, we came home with beautiful photos and made a good friend. Highly recommend him!

It was my biggest pleasure to have Elias as photographer at my son's christening. My wife and I were very impressed with the result but the most important is his honest and very polite character. It's something that you feel very relaxed and it is obvious from the the photos.

I could not have been happier with Elias! He was extremely helpful and always quick to respond to emails, even when I asked if there was a videographer available less than a week before the wedding! I was very grateful for that! He was very kind and it was very clear he knew what he was doing.

I did very extensive research while looking for a photographer. I have a photography background so I wanted something different and unique but yet classy and fun. Elias far exceeded all of our expectations. Our engagement shoot came out so incredible that people are still talking about those photos a year later. I really allowed Elias to do his thing and use his creative mind. It is best to tell him as much about you and your fiance' and then let him do the rest. The wedding photos were amazing as well. I am honestly at a loss for words in describing how happy my husband and I were. He is worth every penny and you will not be disappointed. He is one of the coolest guys I have ever met and so fun to be around.

I just love the emotion in Elias's images. He is a natural talent and you can tell he loves what he is doing!!! He helped us a lot with everything we wanted for the wedding and he was there at every important moment for us. But he managed to capture beautifully all the decorations and details of our wedding as well! He was very friendly and polite with our guests and they loved him too!
If there was only one sentence to describe his services, that would be "value for money!"

We selected Elias after viewing his site. His images showed authentic moments and that's what we wanted from our wedding. Elias was a true professional and consistent to what we had agreed. He is a very friendly and cool guy, so we felt very comfortable during the shooting. He took really beautiful pictures which everyone loved! We selected Elias after viewing his site. His images showed authentic moments and that's what we wanted from our wedding. Elias was a true professional and consistent to what we had agreed. He is a very friendly and cool guy, so we felt very comfortable during the shooting. He took really beautiful pictures which everyone loved! Elias , except from being a very polite person, he is a talented professional who can easily express his love and passion with the photography through his camera. He is very well organized,delivering his work always on time , and he really spends time with you before the event in order to meet you better and get all the relevant details that could help him do a perfect shooting! But the most important is that Elias in the day of your event, he will not just be your photographer, but a very good friend who will capture with his camera the most beautiful moments of your event to remember for a lifetime! Not only he is very professional and a good photographer he is also a very carrying person. He values each event (for us it was our wedding but I am sure he does it on all occasions) as much as the people involved in it. He was the one that walked us through the wedding ceremony and the dinner party after the wedding and he was the one that told us about all the little details to remember in order to feel relaxed and know what we are supposed to do on the day! He really takes time to get to know you on a personal level, so in the end Elias didn’t feel like our photographer but us a dear friend that came to take our wedding pictures!
After the wedding he was very punctual in delivering the photographs and the album! The result was fantastic, we couldn’t have imagined it better!

It was a great experience having Elias as our wedding photographer! He and his associates were very friendly and shared the fun we had at our wedding. The result was that the pictures we received were full of emotion!

Elias introduced to us by our wedding planner. From the first moments of our meeting Christina and I understood that we met a professional, a very positive thinker and a lover of photography. From the beginning he made us feel very comfortable with the idea of the wedding shooting, he was very informative and answered all of our questions. At the wedding day he and his colleague, George proved their professionalism and their expertise by shooting excellent photos, “catching the moments and the feelings” of ourselves and our guests, without even notice that they were there!
I remember that we were very anxious to see our wedding photos. When Elias showed us the shoots a big smile shaped all over our faces! Each photo brink back to us memories from that night! Memories that we will carry with us forever thanks to Elias.

Everything was a copy of my imagination/ simple and real. good valume for money. Photograghs especilally for babies are a real pearl when the kid every year is getting older and older.

-He is an amateur photographer, with little experience as proved.
-I asked him about his studies in photography and he told me that he has studied a totally different object. I should have been skeptical about this, but I wasn't and it was a mistake of mine.
-His knowledge about photography was acquired through internet classes, being the 2nd wedding photographer and by studying books as he informed me ( how can you say this to a possible client?)
-His site is very organised, well designed, and I can say I was fooled by this.
-His lack of experience and lack of theoretical and practical background resulted in major technical mistakes:

The frames were not centered properly!There are no legs or feet in most of family and couple's portraits. In many photos the frame begins from the knees and ends up to the ceiling!
My wedding dress was very impressive with a very long train and guess: I have no photos of it.
I have only 2 or 3 photos with my wedding dress in full frame. All of them are taken from quite a distance (I have to zoom them in my PC). Most of the photos are cut just under the knee...
Professional photographers who examined my wedding photos, told me about major mistakes concerning lighting, shades and ankle of shooting.
There are no full body pictures of the groom, waiting for the bride. Pictures are just over the waist.
-What I didn't like at all, is that he uploads in his blog only pictures from glamorous weddings taken place in hi-class wineries, luxurious hotels and from families and couples who have a very good economic background. Also he does not upload photos from overweight or plump brides. This is discrimination I am afraid...
