Choosing to work with Eli is one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process! Eli’s easygoing style helped keep us relaxed and he knew how to efficiently handle all the various family and guest portraits we wanted, making us and everybody else comfortable and bringing out their best. The pictures he produced from both our engagement session and the wedding are beautiful, unique, and captured us and our family & friends perfectly. -

Eli Turner was my first and only choice for my wedding photographer. He has such an artistic eye, and his extremely creative - you won’t just get boring shots of your wedding party standing in a row. He is extremely professional, has a relaxing personality, and was a joy to work with. I can’t recommend him highly enough. -

Eli is simply the best. We'd already had an engagement shoot with another photographer and had a tight timeline, so we only met him via FaceTime before booking. Jokingly, he told us he would be like a cousin who takes tons of pictures and fades into the background. He was absolutely right. Eli has a great attitude and can help lighten the mood on what otherwise can be a stressful day. I hadn't understood the importance of really liking your wedding photographer. Your photographer will be with you all day! - Hours before the ceremony through the end of your night. The photographer will interrupt you in the middle of enjoying yourself to snap a picture of what's happening. If your photographer can't do that with finesse, it might be less pleasant. However, we like Eli and enjoyed his company, so for us, it was no problem.
Also, we loved his work! We reviewed his portfolio and several others in advance of selecting. We thought he died he did a great job of capturing both standard and fun photos, also for us it was important that we saw a lot of people of color his photos.
He was super accommodating throughout even in helping set up an online album. Perfect attitude 100% of the time. I highly recommend Eli! -

Corinna Sent on 11/14/2017He's professional, he's talented, he's fun to be around, he's the best all-around-photographer you will find; he's Eli Turner! I am what some would call...a picky bride... and Eli came highly recommended to me as a master of his trade. Suffice it to say that he fully exceeded all of my expectations. His demeanor puts people at ease; he just has that "cool factor" that makes you relax and, trust me, this will show in your photos. After seeing my engagement photos a friend said "you need to lock this photographer down for the wedding immediately!" (Yes, they were that good!) All of my wedding guests also raved about Eli, as they were equally impressed with his skills. I also adored his assistant (Tina), who was wonderful and talented.
Seriously, if photos are important to you (aren't they important to everyone?) trust in Eli and you will be delighted! -

We had a 23 person wedding party which had the potential to cause chaos but Eli was so organized and efficient, making the wedding photo process very enjoyable and fun! I cannot say enough great things!

Brittany Sent on 10/02/2017Finding a photographer was the most important decision of our wedding planning process. We knew that these photos would become living monuments for the family we build together. It was so important to find someone we were comfortable sharing this intimate and long-awaited day with. Someone who had the natural instinct for capturing the magic & real moments. Eli Turner didn't just fulfill those expectations - he blew them out of the water.
From the moment we met Eli, I knew that his energy and spirit would bring the best out of the both of us. No only was he charming and honest but his art spoke for itself. Just take a look at ANY wedding in his portfolio and you will see how incredible he is. But unlike most artists at this level, he was humble and accommodating - more than willing to work within our budget and didn't nickel and dime us. But the cherry on top of the already perfect sundae, was that when the pressure and staring eyes became too much, he was the friend who calmed me down and lifted me up at the same time. That, is something you cannot buy.
My photos remain the highlight of my wedding. Everyone, even the most critical of my family and friends, were blown away by Eli's ability to capture the magic of the day. When our hair turns grey and our memories fade, I will rest easy knowing that our children and our children's children can share in the most amazing day of our lives because of the genius that is Eli Turner. -

J Sent on 07/21/2017Eli was a dream to work with. He established an easy and comfortable relationship with my daughter, and now son in law, that resulted in an good energy all day long. I have not seen the proofs yet, but I have no doubt, given his enthusiasm, creative eye, attention to detail, and overall positive and personable disposition, the results will be great. He was a joy to work with. I’m now adding a post script to my earlier post. We received the pictures in August and I still look at them everyday even though it’s February. Eli is absolutely a master.

When we went for our initial engagement shoot with him, he completely put us at ease! When we received the links to the engagement photos, they were everything we wanted! Our guests loved that he was able to get amazing shots without being in the way, and he also turned some heads...lol! He was worth every penny and we'd recommend him again and again! -

Jaya Sent on 07/07/2012When my husband and I started to plan our wedding, we knew we wanted a talented photographer who would not only capture the special moments of of our wedding day, but who would also be a great person for us to work with. We interviewed several photographers and our decision to go with Eli Turner of Eli Turner Studios was the perfect choice.
When we met Eli, he was very interested to know about us and what we wanted for our wedding day. His portfolio was incredible -- the perfect combination of pictures that captured special moments and artistic shots of details that might otherwise get overlooked. He was also just so relaxed and easy going and we really liked that.
Prior to our actual wedding, we did a 2-hour engagement photo session shoot with Eli, which was fun and gave us a better sense of what we could expect with our own pictures. My husband spent several hours with Eli walking around Georgetown as he captured shots of us in our neighborhood. We loved the photos and ended up using them to create our guest book at our wedding.
Our wedding itself had 4 different events and Eli (and, at times, his team) were there for it all. The festivities began with a South Indian wedding ceremony on Friday, April 6, followed by the Sangeet (essentially an Indian version of a dress rehearsal that evening, and the North Indian wedding ceremony and reception the following day on Saturday, April 7. Eli and his team were there yet many times we didn't even notice because he had such a tactful way of being there and capturing moments without making it so obvious. He was also super fun to work with. I distinctly recall sitting outside for about 2 hours of portraits on Saturday afternoon and, while it could have been tedious or boring after a few shots, Eli was fun and playful, which definitely kept us smiling!
We recently saw the online images of our photos and were extremely pleased with the thousands of photos and moments he captured. Eli is now helping us create a wedding album.
We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with him and look forward to working with him in the future!!!

Pegah Sent on 08/19/2011Do yourself a favor and stop looking for another photographer...Eli Turner is it! I felt so lucky to have come across this gem. You simply will not go wrong working with him, his photos are absolutely beautiful. He a unique eye that allows him to capture scenes that I could not have even imagined coming out of my wedding. I would call myself a budget bride, and the photographer was the one area I was willing to splurge on, and I can honestly say Eli was worth every penny. Compared to other weddings he has done, mine was fairly simple. But looking at the pics it looks like my venue was just as extravagant as all the others...this man really knows how to work a camera! I have gotten so many compliments on our wedding pictures. I was most impressed by his professionalism and ability to manage a crowd-- I have a big family and everyone wanted to be in a photo. He made it happen as efficiently as possible and kept a smile on his face the whole time. To say it was a pleasure working with him is an understatement. I felt so lucky to have him as my photographer and would absolutely recommend him to anyone who was looking for one! And definitely plan on doing engagement photos because it provides such a nice opportunity for you and your fiance to work with Eli privately. It made all of us so much more comfortable with each other. What I love most about Eli is even though he is incredible at what he does, he doesn't not take himself too seriously and he is lots of fun to work with. He knows how to make a couple feel totally at ease. I think that is a unique trait. My hibby and I are truly going to cherish our wedding pictures for the rest of our lives...we could not be happier with the results :) -

Jackie Sent on 01/29/2011When I started planning our wedding, my main focus was our photographer. I knew all the little things like bridesmaid dresses, flower colors, food choices, would all be a faded memory down the road, but my wedding photographs were going to be something I would cherish and display forever. These photos will remind me of all the little things we chose for our ceremony and reception. I witnessed too many friends focusing so much on other aspects of wedding plans and then hating their photographs or the companies they chose to work with. I know some friends that have only a few favorite photos from their wedding, and I feel so happy to know I have hundreds of photos that are my favorite. My mothers friends who have had wedding usually comment that their son or daughters wedding photos were nice “but not as great as Jackie’s.” I am so happy that almost a year later I still have that confidence that we made the best decision with our photographer.
I highly recommend Eli as a wedding photographer. He is extremely professional and will make you feel completely at ease on your wedding day. He takes the greatest shots and makes you feel like a million bucks at the same time. I am not at all comfortable being the center of attention, and Eli was wonderful to work with and I was completely comfortable the entire day. My husband and I had our engagement photos with Eli, and left it up to him to pick the place. We met him in Georgetown and he knew every beautiful spot to take pictures. This was great practice for taking formal shots with my husband, since this was all new to us. He was also kind enough to let us bring our crazy dog to do some "family" shots.
The day of our wedding was stress free I think mostly in part because I had complete confidence that Eli was going to capture the energy and emotion of the entire day. I didn't worry about missing anything and was comfortable and relaxed the whole day knowing he was there to capture everything.
One of my favorite memories post wedding was when my husband and I received our photos during the end of our honeymoon. I was in complete awe and amazement for the entire night, looking through the hundreds of photos. I was blown away to say the least. You see all of Eli's great work on his website but when its you and your friends and family it just means that much more that he captured all these beautiful moments that you can cherish and share with everyone.

Roxana Sent on 10/05/2011Where do I begin?? Eli is amazing! I haven't even seen the pictures in print yet but the sneak peeks I got from his camera is enough to confirm what I already knew. Eli is fun, professional, and blends right in with the family! But most importantly he has a very special eye that turns the simplest scenes into the most amazing shots. He is truly talented and you would miss out by not choosing him as your photographer!!
