  Outstanding and so talented

  Eli Turner was my first and only choice for my wedding photographer. He has such an artistic eye, and his extremely creative - you won’t just get boring shots of your wedding party standing in a row. He is extremely professional, has a relaxing personality, and was a joy to work with. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

  Eli is simply the best.

  Eli is simply the best. We'd already had an engagement shoot with another photographer and had a tight timeline, so we only met him via FaceTime before booking. Jokingly, he told us he would be like a cousin who takes tons of pictures and fades into the background. He was absolutely right. Eli has a great attitude and can help lighten the mood on what otherwise can be a stressful day. I hadn't understood the importance of really liking your wedding photographer. Your photographer will be with you all day! - Hours before the ceremony through the end of your night. The photographer will interrupt you in the middle of enjoying yourself to snap a picture of what's happening. If your photographer can't do that with finesse, it might be less pleasant. However, we like Eli and enjoyed his company, so for us, it was no problem.
  
  Also, we loved his work! We reviewed his portfolio and several others in advance of selecting. We thought he died he did a great job of capturing both standard and fun photos, also for us it was important that we saw a lot of people of color his photos.
  
  He was super accommodating throughout even in helping set up an online album. Perfect attitude 100% of the time. I highly recommend Eli!

  Highly recommended!

  Eli and his assistant Tina were an integral part of our wedding day. They were extremely professional, talented and fun to work with. We were very comfortable with their presence on our special day. We love our photos. Eli and Tina did a great job of capturing both key moments and candids of guests throughout the evening. They provided effective coverage throughout the day and helped us find a unique location for shots of us and our wedding party. We also appreciated Eli taking engagement photos of us the fall before our wedding to help us get comfortable working with him. We highly recommend Eli and his team.

  Eli is amazing!

  I first met Eli when he photographed my sister and brother-in-law's DC wedding in October 2015. I was so impressed by his work then. He captured a wonderful blend of artistic shots, beautiful family portraits, and and candid moments. He was helpful, organized, efficient, and unobtrusive throughout the day, and he's a super cool guy to hang out with.
  
  When I got engaged, Eli was the first person I thought of to photograph our wedding, and after showing my now husband Eli's photos, he agreed. He husband is much less enthusiastic about taking photos than I am, but Eli was so chill and fun during our engagement shoot that my husband really enjoyed it! We loved our beautiful engagement photos from Eli and received so many compliments on them! Eli was great at capturing natural candid moments, creating artistic shots, and helping us pose when we needed it (even finding ways to make our extreme height difference less awkward in photos)!
  
  Eli was fantastic on our wedding day! He was calm and efficient even when us girls were behind schedule getting ready, he was quick to step in and help me figure out how to carry my train, he had great ideas for where to take beautiful photos outside and inside at the venue, and he made jokes and kept the mood light throughout all of the portraits. He even got our two stoic dads and camera-shy 6-year-old nephew to smile in photos! His assistant Tina was fantastic as well. Both Eli and Tina managed to be there to capture all of the important moments without feeling obtrusive at all, and they were great people to spend the day with!
  
  We just got all of our wedding photos from Eli (less than a month after our wedding, which is incredible!), and we love them all! Eli has such an incredible eye for beautiful shots that it's hard to even choose which photos to print because they're all so lovely! The ones of the two of us are all stunning, and Eli captured so many incredibly creative photos with the sunset and the twinkle lights at the venue. We'll cherish the portraits of our families and wedding party forever, and we love the photos from the ceremony and reception. Eli did a great job circulating at the reception and capturing photos of all of our guests.
  Eli also captured so many wonderful detail photos that were great to see because it was hard to take everything in on the wedding day!

  Fantastic Photographer

  Eli and his team member did a fantastic job capturing our big day. They calmed our nerves and had everyone organized and ready to go. They also were great at getting us (bride and groom) where we needed to be, during a time where everyone was trying to get our attention. He was extremely flexible and easy to work with. He did a great job balancing our desires with what would be best for capturing the moment. We are so thrilled that Eli was the photographer for our wedding, and would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

  Hands down, best decision we made on our wedding.

  Words can not express the gratitude we have for Eli and his team. Eli's creative ability to capture a moment in time is what appealed to us. We appreciated his artistic view of common wedding spaces (how difficult it is to find new angles in the same locations). His easy going and friendly nature made photographing with him a breeze. He made our (potentially awkward) public engagement shoot and the very stressful wedding morning fun, no pressure and he easily fit in like part of our family. We are forever grateful for the incredible photographs we will memories we hold in his photos will last us a lifetime.

  Eastern Shore Fall Wedding - Great Experience with Eli!

  Eli was incredible throughout our entire process - from our engagement session, to our wedding day and beyond! Eli has a knack for making you feel comfortable even in the most stressful moments.   The best photographer we’ve ever worked with!

  We’ve know Eli for a long time and he is the most creative, inspiring, and easy to work with photographer. He captures the essence and emotion of the moment and does so with authenticity and passion. His photographs from our wedding always bring us back to the joy and specialness of the weekend.   Eli exceeded ALL of our expectations and literally we could not be happier!! I opted not to do a videographer so put a lot of faith in my photographer to capture the feel of the evening and Eli captured the evening PERFECTLY!!!! From getting ready at my parents house, to escaping mid reception out to the golf course for sunset photos literally every photo is AMAZING and captures the energy, the emotions, and the detail of the entire evening. We got our photos back within 3 weeks of our wedding also which was amazing. Eli was very responsive with our emails, and took charge of the situation on wedding day which was super helpful! I couldn't be more pleased with our pictures and working with Eli was fun, easy, and very comfortable!

Eli did just that and was also indispensable leading up to our wedding day in providing us with guidance and advice for logistics. His professionalism and talent are apparent and the pictures he gave us from our wedding day will be treasured for a lifetime. Thank you, Eli!!

  Weddings going by incredibly fast and from the beginning of the wedding planning, finding the right photographer was incredibly important to me. I knew that I wanted someone whose style was more about candid moments rather than artificial poses. Eli was recommended by our wedding planner, Christine of CG&Co Events, and he truly knocked it out of the park. He is energetic, funny, genuinely kind, and amazing at managing people (family and guests) so that pictures don't feel like a chore. He and his team were with us over a very long day, and helped us relax while capturing all of the important moments. My entire family loved how he was able to coax smiles and genuine laughs out of people who are notorious non-smilers. He was also able to send us the full digital albums in less than 4 weeks, and every single picture is so beautiful. Trying to decide which to print has been a serious challenge for us, since we love all of them. There are some people who are just masters at what they do; Eli is one of them (and it shows!) We highly recommend Eli and his team.

  Beyond anything I could've dreamed of!!

  Eli Turner is by far the best photographer! His professionalism, crisp photos were so perfect! On the day of the wedding I was already so nervous and stressed about making sure to get all the photos I wanted for the day, Eli already had a game plan. He is so organized and so timely with ensuring everything turned out the way we wanted. Our final photo count was close to 1,500 photos!! I'm huge about photos and I kid you not, I ended up printing all of them because I ABSOLUTELY LOVED LOVED LOVED the way they all came out! our couple, individual and family portrait shots are still being talked about by everyone on how gorgeous they came out. The thing I loved about Eli and his team were that they had people focused on all aspects of the wedding, someone was taking reception pictures, detail pictures, Eli was overseeing everything and focusing on us, ensuring we got our pictures as well. Eli did our proposal pictures, engagement photos and wedding photos. I would not have anyone else doing our pictures. They came out flawless!!!!! The reception pictures were so fun which is what I loved. Looking back at the pictures I felt like I was reliving that moment. It's so important to have a photographer that is able to capture those pure moments and candid smiles, he made us laugh during our couple photos and helped ease any "stiff" poses to create some beautiful pictures. The hardest part about all of this is that I want to print all of them and hang them all over I just have so many to chose from! If anyone wants to speak to me about our experience I would be more than happy to speak with them about the amazing job Eli and his team did. I love our wedding photos and everyone that was at our wedding loves them too! PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT!!!! Thank you again Eli for making our dreams and pictures come to life!!

  Eli was on a list of recommendations we received from our wedding planner, Teresa Lee of Rex & Regina events, and as soon as we checked out his photos on Instagram we knew we wanted him to photograph our wedding. We were looking for a photographer who was good at capturing candid moments, and his background in documentary and film work exactly matched the style we were looking for. Even better, he is an incredibly kind and easygoing guy -- you couldn't ask for a better person to have around for 10 hours and some of the most intimate moments of your wedding day. He was always quick with a joke, a smile, and encouragement and never seemed to get tired despite the long day. We did a few hours of pictures around Washington, D.C. before the ceremony and Eli was quick to take charge, giving our bus driver directions and helping us get into the Portrait Gallery when the security guard was being fussy. He was very creative with his shots while also listening to what we wanted out of our pictures. We also really liked his second shooter, Jason, who was equally helpful, friendly and talented. Best of all, we got our photos back just under a month past our wedding day, and we love them. We would hire Eli again in a heartbeat.

We were looking for a photographer who was good at capturing candid moments, and his background in documentary and film work exactly matched the style we were looking for. Even better, he is an incredibly kind and easygoing guy -- you couldn't ask for a better person to have around for 10 hours and some of the most intimate moments of your wedding day. He was always quick with a joke, a smile, and encouragement and never seemed to get tired despite the long day. We did a few hours of pictures around Washington, D.C. before the ceremony and Eli was quick to take charge, giving our bus driver directions and helping us get into the Portrait Gallery when the security guard was being fussy. He was very creative with his shots while also listening to what we wanted out of our pictures. We also really liked his second shooter, Jason, who was equally helpful, friendly and talented. Best of all, we got our photos back just under a month past our wedding day, and we love them. We would hire Eli again in a heartbeat.

  When it came to wedding planning, picking the right photographer was hands down the most important decision for me. I wanted a photographer who could capture authentic moments, but who would also wow us with some artistic shots. There is no question that Eli was the best person for the job. He exceeded every expectation that my husband and I had for our engagement and wedding photos. They are simply spectacular. Beyond his unbelievably crazy talent behind the camera, Eli is also a great person to have by your side on your wedding day. He is funny, kind, meticulously organized, and completely flexible. He'll help troubleshoot any problems that arise, including going so far as to help safety pin your wedding train after it's torn due to a particularly enthusiastic dance floor. He's great at managing crowds, including the occasionally misbehaving guest, to make sure that the focus stays on the bride and groom. He is extraordinary, and we couldn't be happier that he agreed to work with us.

  Eli and his team were a dream to work with! Talk about a cool guy. We felt so comfortable and at ease with Eli. He made sure that we had all of the shots we wanted, when we wanted them, and with everyone we wanted in them.   I could not have asked for a better photographer! Eli is EXTREMELY talented, creative, friendly, and captured so many incredible moments on my wedding day. We had a 23 person wedding party which had the potential to cause chaos but Eli was so organized and efficient, making the wedding photo process very enjoyable and fun! I cannot say enough great things!

  We absolutely loved working with Eli and LOVE the photographs he took of our wedding. When we set out on our wedding planning journey, picking a great wedding photographer was very important to us, and that is exactly what we got with Eli.   Eli was a dream to work with. He established an easy and comfortable relationship with my daughter, and now son in law, that resulted in an good energy all day long. I have not seen the proofs yet, but I have no doubt, given his enthusiasm, creative eye, attention to detail, and overall positive and personable disposition, the results will be great. He was a joy to work with. I’m now adding a post script to my earlier post. We received the pictures in August and I still look at them everyday even though it’s February.
